To opt for the beta testing, owner’s of the Oppo F11 series with the official stable software build must go to “Settings” > “Software Update” > then click the button on the upper right corner and select “Trial Version.” Users must then agree to the terms and conditions from the company and click on the “Apply Now.” Once this is done, check for updates in the Software Update section which will now have the latest beta build.
Note: Beta builds are unpolished versions of a future user interface, OS, skins, etc. so one might face lags, stutters, and the odd bugs every now and then.

Lastly, the ColorOS Community application can be used to report on any bugs or glitches.

The entire specifications and images of the phone matches with the Oppo F11 smartphone that was unveiled in the previous month in some Asian markets. The PCEM00 / PCET00 smartphone could be arriving with a different moniker in China.

OPPO PCEM00 / PCET00 Design

The OPPO PCEM00 / PCET00 smartphone is equipped with a waterdrop-like notch display that promises a high screen-to-body ratio. The bezels surrounding the screen are not clearly visible in the TENAA images of PCEM00 / PCET00 phone.

The rear shell of the smartphone seems to be of polycarbonate material. The top half of the rear panel has a vertical dual camera setup. Below it is the dual-tone LED flash and a fingerprint reader. The TENAA listing reveals that it will be only coming in a single color of Black in China. The smartphone measures 162 x 76.1 x 8.3mm and it weighs 190 grams.

OPPO PCEM00 / PCET00 Specifications

The Chinese authority has only mentioned the minimum capacity of the battery. The Oppo F11 has a 4,020mAh typical capacity battery.

The smartphone is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS and it could be arriving the latest ColorOS 6.0 UI.
The renders of the OPPO A9 reveal that it will be sporting a rear design that is quite similar to the recently announce OPPO Reno and Reno 10x Zoom smartphones. The rear shell of the phone features a vertical dual camera setup and a fingerprint scanner. On the front is a waterdrop-style notched display. The smartphone is expected to land in China in colors like Ice Jade White, Mica Green and Fluorite Purple.

The dual camera setup of the smartphone is expected to house a 48-megapixel primary sensor. The handset will be packed with a decent battery of 4,020mAh capacity. There is no confirmation on whether the device will be equipped with rapid charging technology.

There is no information available on the processor that will be fueling the OPPO A9. It is speculated that the smartphone will be available in a single version that includes 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of native storage. The ColorOS 6.0 based Android 9 Pie OS will come preloaded on the device. The other specs of the phone are currently under the wraps.

OPPO A9 Could be Rebranded Version of OPPO F11

The Oppo A9 could be a rebranded version of OPPO F11 for the Chinese market. If it is true, the OPPO A9 could be equipped with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display that produces 1080p resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The MediaTek Helio P70 SoC will be powering the handset. The other sensor in its dual camera setup could be of 5-megapixel. It may feature a selfie camera of 16-megapixel. The F11 carries support for 20W VOOC 3.0 flash charging. It remains to be seen whether the upcoming A9 phone also carries support for it.

Design

I personally think that Huawei P30 Lite is the most attractive phone when it comes to aesthetics. It sports an elegant glass back and it is also the thinnest device of this comparison, as well as the most compact one thanks to its smaller display. We even got very narrow bezels around the display and a small dewdrop notch. Right after, there is the Redmi Note 7 Pro with a catchy gradient back made of glass and protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It comes with thicker bezels, but it has a very nice build quality and it is water resistant, according to the company. Even though it has a very high screen-to-body ratio, Oppo F11 takes the last place due to its less attractive plastic body.

Display

All of these phones come with an LCD display, but Oppo F11 offers something more. It comes with the advanced LTPS technology as well as a bigger size that makes it more suitable for productivity, multimedia, and gaming. The resolution is exactly the same and the color reproduction is similar as well, so you will not notice important differences between these panels. You may need to know that Huawei Nova 4e and Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro have a slightly smaller U-shaped notch instead of a V-shaped one like the Oppo F11.

Specs & Software

If you want to get the best performance with the fastest and smoothest device, go for the Redmi Note 7 Pro without thinking twice. Its Snapdragon 675 chipset is a very powerful beast and it comes with a pretty nice GPU that performs well even in demanding gaming scenarios. If you do not like the Redmi Note 7 Pro, then go for the Oppo F11 as it still comes with an upper-midrange SoC and it offers a longer battery life. In terms of performance, Huawei Nova 4e is more or less like the Oppo F11. In each case, you get a highly customized user interface based on Android 9 Pie.

Camera

It is hard to establish which camera is the best as the camera performances of these devices vary depending on the scenario. Huawei Nova 4e is definitely the most interesting one because it comes with a triple camera including an ultrawide sensor and a stunning 32 MP selfie camera. However, the rear department of the Redmi Note 7 Pro and the Oppo F11 is still pretty good as it includes a 48 MP main camera which provides a very high level of detail and good photos even in low light conditions. The rear cameras of the Redmi Note 7 Pro are slightly superior to the ones on the Oppo F11 but I would go for the Huawei Nova 4e due to its ultrawide sensor and good stabilization.

Battery

Huawei Nova 4e loses this comparison due to its smaller 3340 mAh battery, while it is a hard fight between Redmi Note 7 Pro and Oppo F11. The former is better on more scenarios thanks to its very efficient 11 nm chipset, a smaller display, and outstanding software optimization, but the differences in battery life are not so noticeable compared to the Oppo F11.

Price

You can get the Redmi Note 7 Pro for just €200 in China, while Huawei Nova 4e and Oppo F11 cost about €270. Overall, Redmi Note 7 Pro wins the comparison thanks to its higher value for money, big battery, and very performing hardware department.

The Korean giant is struggling at keeping its market share in the midrange segment in the last years, but it does not stop trying. We are talking about the Galaxy M30 which combines a great price with a huge battery and an interesting camera department. In this comparison, the new mid-rangers challenges the Redmi Note 7 Pro that is expected to become one of the best-sellers of 2019 and the newly-announced Oppo F11. Did Samsung release a more interesting mid-ranger than the main Chinese ones? This comparison will help you find out.

Design

The design of the Samsung Galaxy M30 did not convince me so much, unlike its other specifications. The one I prefer more is the Redmi Note 7 Pro with its reflective glass back, pretty compact size and even good build quality. It is not among the most resistant phones out there, but it is water resistant, unlike most of the midrange devices. The reflective glass back can be chosen in stunning gradient color variants making it even more magnetic.

Display

We appreciated the fact that Samsung chose to use a Super AMOLED display even for a midrange from the M series. AMOLED panels provide more vivid colors and this particular one is very brilliant. While the quality of the display of Samsung Galaxy M30 attracts me, someone may prefer the Oppo F11 because it has a bigger and more phablet-like display. With a size of 6.53 inches, it is more suitable for advanced users and productivity. Even if you are a gamer you will find it more comfortable. Redmi Note 7 Pro has a classic midrange-class display which offers nothing exciting, so Samsung Galaxy M30 wins the display comparison.

Specs & Software

Thanks to the powerful Snapdragon 675 and its great GPU, Redmi Note 7 Pro is the king of performances here. It is the best device for you if you like gaming and multi-tasking, because its chipset is faster and it is very performing with high-demanding tasks. The second place should go to the 12 nm Helio P70 found on the Oppo F11. This device alongside the Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with Android 9 Pie out of the box, while Galaxy M30 is still based on Oreo. It does not make the difference as every device comes with a highly customized Android version, but it is good to know. Each of these devices comes in the same memory configurations, so the chipset makes the difference. Note that Oppo F11 has no expandable storage, unlike its rivals which come with a hybrid micro SD slot.

Camera

While Oppo F11 and Redmi Note 7 Pro are equipped with a rear dual camera composed of a main 48 MP sensor and a secondary depth sensor, Samsung Galaxy M30 opts for a triple camera including a 13 MP main sensor, a 5 MP ultrawide sensor and a depth sensor. Oppo F11 and Redmi Note 7 Pro should deliver a better photo quality, while Samsung Galaxy M30 will click more original shots thanks to its wide-angle sensor. Which one do you prefer? The front camera battle should be a hard fight between Samsung Galaxy M30 and Oppo F11. Note that we still did not test all the cameras of these devices, so we can not give you a definitive opinion about them. Despite its photo quality may be inferior, I would personally pick the Samsung Galaxy M30 for its ultrawide sensor. Mid-rangers are far away from flagships when it comes to camera quality, so I would focus on the innovation and original shots instead of camera quality when getting a midrange phone.

Battery

The battery of the Samsung Galaxy M30 is the biggest ones, even though Redmi Note 7 Pro and Oppo F11 are among the best battery phones in their segment. Thanks to its 1000 mAh more than its opponents and its efficient AMOLED display, the Galaxy M30 will surely provide a longer battery life. There should be no challenge and the Galaxy M30 should be able to last up to three days with a moderate usage pattern. Oppo F11 and Redmi Note 7 Pro should last more or less the same, but Redmi Note 7 Pro may offer something more due to its smaller display and its efficient Snapdragon 675 SoC.

Price

In the Asian market, you can get a unit of the Samsung Galaxy M30 or the Oppo F11 for about €250/$280 in the base configuration, while Redmi Note 7 Pro, that is the winner of this comparison because of its better chipset and a higher value for money, can be found at just €200/$225.

Design

Just choose depending on your tastes, because each of these phones offers a futuristic design with a waterdrop notch and a wonderful back available in gradient color variants. I would personally discard the Oppo F11 due to its bigger dimensions making it less usable with one hand and harder to keep in a pocket. Instead, I would award the Redmi Note 7 Pro for its water resistance. Despite its specs sheet does not mention any IP certification, teardowns revealed that it is indeed water resistant and the company confirmed it.

Display

We discarded the Oppo F11 from the design comparison because of its dimensions, but that goes in favor of the display. This device has a huge 6.53-inch panel that is much more comfortable for advanced users, gamers and productivity. Further, it comes with the LTPS technology that should help to deliver a better experience. Oppo F11 wins the display comparison, but given that we are talking about mid-rangers and usually there are very marginal differences between the displays of midrange phones, do not give too much importance to this.

Specs & Software

You get exactly the same hardware department for the Meizu Note 9 and Redmi Note 7 Proo: a Snapdragon 675 chipset paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage. Instead, Oppo F11 comes with a slightly less impressive Mediatek Helio P70. So, just like displays, it will even hard to notice the differences between the speed and reactivity of these phones, in every scenario. In each case, you get high-end performances as these devices are equipped with an upper-midrange SoC that is able to handle every task in a very good way. I would personally go for the Redmi Note 7 Pro because it is the only one to boast a micro SD slot allowing to expand the internal storage. Most of the people like its customized user interface more, even though this does not count so much.

Camera

The new Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor with its resolution of 48 MP became mainstream among midrange devices and it allows a stunning level of detail even on phones that are a lot far from top camera phones, for both performances and prices. We still did not test all the cameras of these handsets, but we do not expect significative differences in photo quality, regarding the rear camera setup. What will probably change more is the selfie experience, in which Oppo F11 and Meizu Note 9 should offer something more. Oppo F11 may be the real selfie master here.

Battery

The huge batteries of these devices are probably what will distinguish these devices from most of their concurrence. All feature a huge 4000 mAh unit and all support a fast charging technology. Judging from the specs on the paper, Meizu Note 9 and Redmi Note 7 Pro may last slightly more than Oppo F11 due to their smaller and more efficient displays. But the software optimizations will have the last word here.

Price

With incredibly similar specs sheets, what makes the difference is the price, and this is a point for the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Meizu Note 9. They start from about €200/$225, while Oppo F11 starts from €250/$280. Overall, I would go for the Redmi Note 7 Pro.

Along with that, the company has also announced its lighter variant — Oppo F11, which comes with similar specifications.

To differentiate the Oppo F11 from the Pro variant and ensure lower pricing, the company has opted for a waterdrop display instead of the “Rising Camera” mechanism for housing the front-facing snapper. The phone is priced at Rs. 19,990 (approximately $283) and will be available for purchase from 15th March through online and offline stores.

The Oppo F11 features the same 6.5-inch Panoramic display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) screen resolution as the Pro variant. Under the hood, the MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core 12nm chipset is powering the smartphone.

It packs 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This is interesting given that the Pro model comes with 6GB of RAM but just 64GB of internal storage. It also has a microSD card slot that allows you to further expand the phone’s storage capacity.

Coming to the camera side, the smartphone has a 48MP + 5MP dual rear cameras setup along with an LED flash. It comes with several AI-based features ensuring better photography results, along with an Ultra Night Mode aimed at low-light photography.

On the front side, the smartphone comes equipped with a 16MP snapper. There’s a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, ensuring additional security. Connectivity options on the device include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS, and micro-USB port.

In the software department, the handset runs the latest ColorOS 6.0 custom operating system out-of-the-box, which is based on Android 9 Pie. The phone is fuelled by a 4,020mAh battery that comes with VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge support.

The smartphone is equipped with a pop-up selfie camera and a notch-less display. There is no confirmation yet on whether it belongs to the forthcoming OPPO F11 or OPPO R19 smartphone.

The OPPO F9 and OPPO R17 phones from last year were equipped with waterdrop notch enabled displays. As it can be seen in the below images, the mysterious OPPO smartphone features a notch-less screen. Hence, the smartphone is expected to deliver a marvelous viewing experience thanks to its high screen-to-body ratio.

The mysterious phone features a vertically arranged triple camera setup with a fingerprint scanner placed below it. The rear shell of the phone seems to be made out of glass.

The OPPO F-series phones have always featured horizontally aligned dual camera setup on the rear. Even the OPPO R-series until the R15 lineup from last year were launched with horizontal dual camera setup but the R17 and R17 Pro were fitted with vertical dual cameras. Also, both the R17 phones were equipped with in-display fingerprint scanner, while the F9 came with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Hence, it is difficult to determine whether the newly spotted handset is OPPO F11 or OPPO R19.

Another interesting feature on the mysterious OPPO is the presence of a pop-up selfie camera. A recent leak had revealed that the OPPO R19 would be featuring a center-positioned selfie camera and its rear cameras would be also placed on the center area on the top half of the back panel. Also, the case images of the OPPO R19 that had surfaced in the previous month not only had cutouts for these cameras, but also it featured a cutout for a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Hence, there is a possibility that the above photos may belong to the OPPO R19 handset.
