Oppo just refreshed its F-series in India with the new Oppo F33 and Oppo F33 Pro. The two phones share most of their specifications, with differences mainly in areas like the camera and design.

The standard F33 has a rectangular camera module on the back that doesn’t look much different from last year’s model.

The Pro model, however, introduces a larger camera plateau and a more noticeable visual identity, even if the influence from recent iPhone designs is hard to ignore.

The standard model is available in Pearl White and Forest Green, while the Oppo F33 Pro comes in Starry Blue, Passion Red, and Misty Forest. The latter features a forest-like pattern on the back and a layered 3D depth effect that creates a subtle shifting look under light.

Both phones carry multiple protection ratings, including MIL-STD-810H certification and IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. The Pro model also supports IP69K.

Oppo F33 and F33 Pro Specifications

Both phones share the same core specifications. There’s a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,400 nits. Powering them is a MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chip built on a 6nm process, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The Pro model adds a vapor chamber cooling system, which helps with sustained performance.

Oppo is packing a 7,000mAh battery into both models, paired with 80W fast charging. Features like reverse wired charging and bypass charging are also included.

On the camera side, both devices use a 50MP primary sensor with a 2MP depth sensor. The difference appears on the front — the F33 has a 16MP selfie camera, while the Pro upgrades to a 50MP ultra-wide sensor that can automatically adjust framing when more people enter the shot.

The phones run Android 16 with ColorOS 16 on top.

Pricing and Availability

The Oppo F33 starts at Rs 31,999 for the base variant and goes up to Rs 40,999 for the F33 Pro. Both devices are now up for pre-order through Amazon, Flipkart, Oppo’s online store, and offline retail outlets, with typical launch offers like cashback, exchange bonuses, and EMI options included.

The Oppo F33 series is confirmed to arrive with IP69K certification, which goes beyond the typical IP67 or IP68 ratings seen in this segment. According to the brand, this level of protection ensures complete resistance against dust and also allows the device to withstand high-pressure and high-temperature water exposure. It means the phone can handle challenging conditions such as heavy rain, wet hands, or dusty outdoor environments with more confidence.

The device is said to undergo rigorous testing conditions that simulate extreme heat, cold, humidity, and environmental stress. It has reportedly been tested for high-temperature operation, freezing conditions, and prolonged exposure to salt and moisture. Drop resistance has also been validated through repeated impact testing, aiming to reduce the risk of everyday damage.

The F33 series is expected to feature a reinforced aluminium frame along with a thickened protective glass layer. Internally, cushioning materials are placed strategically to absorb shock and protect key components such as the camera and battery. The back panel is also designed to be thicker than standard builds, improving overall strength.

The F33 series will house a 7,000mAh battery designed to retain up to 80 percent of its capacity even after extended usage over several years.  The device will support fast charging along with features like reverse charging and bypass charging, offering flexibility for different usage scenarios. Oppo has confirmed that the Oppo F33 series will break cover on April 15 in India. The lineup has two models, namely the F33 and F33 Pro. Ahead of the launch, the brand has confirmed a few details about the upcoming F-series phones.

Oppo F33 series key specs officially confirmed

Oppo has confirmed that the Oppo F33 Pro will feature a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 100-degree FOV on the front. This camera will be powered by the GalaxyCore GC50F6 sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and an 18mm focal length.

For an enhanced selfie experience, the F33 Pro offers an AI Groupfie feature, which can automatically expand to 0.6x when two people enter the frame. It also comes with support for a face distortion correction algorithm that can detect up to six faces at one time.

The F33 series also brings a colorful Front Fill Light for better low-light selfies, along with a Popout mode that creates layered, dynamic images directly in-camera. The Dual-View Video feature enables simultaneous recording from both front and rear cameras, adding versatility for content creation. Additionally, the F33 Pro debuts a refreshed Starry Sea Lens Module design, giving the camera system a more distinctive and modern look.

On the back, both the F33 and F33 Pro will feature a 50-megapixel main camera equipped with the OmniVision OV50D40 sensor, which will be paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For the first time, these F-series phones will have an AI Portrait Glow feature, which can automatically apply the most suitable lighting in real time. It offers options like Natural Light, Flashlight, Rim Light, and Studio Light.

The compamy has also confirmed that the Oppo F33 Pro will feature a 6.57-inch flat display. It will be offered in three shades: Misty Forest, Starry Blue, and Passion Red.

Oppo is reportedly preparing to launch its new F-series smartphones in India this month. According to a recent report, the company may introduce the Oppo F33 5G and Oppo F33 Pro 5G soon. 

Even before the official announcement, the standard Oppo F33 5G has appeared in a premature Amazon listing, revealing some of its key specifications and design details.

The listing suggests that the Oppo F33 5G will feature an AMOLED display. It is also expected to come with a 50MP front camera. 

The device may pack a large 7000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. In terms of memory, the phone is likely to include 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Meanwhile, tipster PassionateGeekz has shared a poster of the Oppo F33 series, giving us a proper look at the design. The phone appears to have a wide camera module on the back with two prominent camera rings. One of these is said to house a 50MP ultra-wide camera.

The Oppo F33 series is expected to launch in Red and Blue color options. The blue variant, in particular, features a gradient finish with a pattern on the lower half.

Both the Oppo F33 5G and F33 Pro 5G are also rumored to come with an IP69K rating for durability and will likely be available via Amazon.

The Oppo F33 series is the successor to the Oppo F31 series, which was launched back in September 2025. The company usually refreshes the F-series every six months, so the new lineup shouldn’t be far off. As usual, more details should emerge soon. Oppo seems to be getting ready to refresh its F-series in India again. This time with the F33 and F33 Pro, which, according to a recent report from 91mobiles, could show up in the third week of April.

The Oppo F31 series from last year came with 7,000mAh batteries and 80W charging, which is still on the higher side for this segment. They were also certified with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for ingress protection. Oppo was clearly targeting people who just want a phone that lasts and doesn’t need to be handled too carefully.

The rest of the specs were fairly standard. AMOLED displays, mid-range chips, and a 50MP main camera with OIS. Nothing particularly flashy, but that wasn’t really the point.

With the F33 and F33 Pro, it looks like Oppo will stick to the same idea. Probably some upgrades, newer chips, larger batteries, and maybe a few improvements to the camera. But it doesn’t seem like a major shift. Also not clear yet if a Pro+ variant is part of the plan this time.

Pricing is expected to fall somewhere between ₹25,000 and ₹35,000, which is where things get a bit tricky. That segment is already packed, with options from Motorola, Redmi, and Nothing all doing different things.

Still, Oppo’s angle here is slightly different. It’s not really trying to win on specs alone. It’s more about offering something reliable, something that lasts a bit longer.

Launch is only a few weeks away, so more details should come out soon. Right now, it just looks like a continuation of what Oppo has been doing, with a few updates on top.
