In March, OPPO had launched the OPPO F7 smartphone with a notched display. The Chinese manufacturer is known for launching “Youth” edition as lighter version for its F-series smartphones. Now that the company has already unveiled the F7 smartphone, it is speculated to be working on OPPO F7 Youth. Myanmar is one country that is yet to receive the OPPO F7 smartphone. A promotional video that has surfaced on OPPO’s Myanmar Facebook account shows that the country will be soon receiving OPPO F7 and OPPO F7 Youth smartphones.

Through the promo video, it can be known that the OPPO F7 Youth features a display that supports an aspect ratio of 19:9. It appears that the major selling point of the F7 Youth would be its 25-megapixel selfie camera that is equipped with Ai Beauty 2.0.

Unlike the red-colored OPPO F7, the Black colored F7 Youth does not feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The back panel of the F7 Youth is fitted with a single camera that is accompanied by its LED flash.

As far as the appearance of the F7 Youth is concerned, it looks quite similar to the OPPO A3 that features a rear panel with diamond-cut design that is devoid of fingerprint scanner. This suggests that the F7 Youth will be only equipped with facial recognition feature for unlocking it.

There is no information available on the other specifications of the OPPO F7 Youth. However, since it is expected to arrive as a lighter edition of the OPPO F7, it is likely to feature 4 GB of RAM or 3 GB of RAM. It may arrive in 32 GB and 64 GB storage models.

The OPPO F7 Youth will be preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo and the last Color OS skin. It may include the same 3,400mAh battery that powers the regular OPPO F7. The cost of the F7 Youth is under the wraps, but the pricing pattern of the predecessor models suggests that it could be priced around $260.

The OPPO F7 is the next Selfie Expert smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer. Recent reports have already revealed the specs and features of the smartphone. A leaked sales pitch manual that has surfaced recently has also revealed a lot of information on the key specs of the phone.

Leaked photos of the OPPO F7 have revealed that it will be arriving with a notched display like the recently unveiled OPPO R15 and OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition. The OPPO F7 sales pitch reveals that it has almost the same full screen as the Apple iPhone X. The new 19:9 LCD screen on the F7 that measures 6.23 inches will deliver theater-like visual experience while watching movies and play games. It will carry support for FHD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The sales pitch of the OPPO F7 states that the handset is equipped with a glossy rear that gives it a distinguishing look.

The OPPO F7’s notch houses a 25-megapixel selfie camera. The AI Beauty Technology 2.0 can capture enhanced selfie shots by scanning nearly 300 facial features. Other functions of the front-facing camera include HDR support, AR stickers and vivid mode. The description of these features is available on the leaked documents.

The front-facing camera can be also used for unlocking the phone by scanning the face. It has a rear camera of 16-megapixel that carries support for automatic scene recognition. The handset will be running on Color OS 5.0, but the leaked document has not revealed whether the device will be loaded with Android Nougat or Oreo.

The 12nm MediaTek Helio P60 chipset that powers the OPPO R15 is also available under the hood of the OPPO F7. The handset is driven by 3,400mAh battery.

Apart from the regular OPPO F7 , there will be a variant called OPPO F7 Youth that is expected to come with toned-down specs and affordable pricing. The third variant is expected to feature 128 GB of native storage. The Chinese manufacturer will be holding a launch event for the OPPO F7 at Mumbai, India on March 26.

While Oppo R15 will be the premium 2018 offering from the Chinese giant, Oppo F7 is going to launch with a more affordable price tag for people with a low budget. According to a new poster spotted on Slashleaks, this device will be launched in two variants with an additional version being even cheaper than the standard one. The two versions will be called F7 and F7 Youth: the Youth one will be the most affordable. Oppo smartphones have always focused on camera performance, and the same is applicable with these handsets.

Both Oppo F7 and F7 Youth will come with a 25 MP front snapper for very detailed selfies. The front camera will also support artificial intelligence which will probably be useful to beautify selfies in a smart and automatic way. If you will buy the standard version, you will also get 128 GB of internal storage which is almost impossible to find in affordable phones. Oppo F7 and F7 Youth will have a bezel-less design with an iPhone X-like notch that will house the front camera and the earpiece. But, unlike the iPhone X, there will be a thicker bezel on the lower part of the front, as you can also see on the poster.

The screen-to-body ratio will be close to 90%. Given the presence of a notch, the display will have a 19:9 aspect ratio; it is also expected to have a 6.2-inch size and a Full HD+ resolution with 1080 x 2280 pixels. The devices will sport a full metal unibody design. The hardware components which we will find inside Oppo F7 and F7 Youth are still unknown. But we won’t have to wait for long to know everything about these handsets, as the launch date has already been set. The devices will be official on March 26 in Mumbai.
