It’s been four years since OPPO last updated the Find series after the release of the Find 7. All this while, rumours have been circulating concerning a next-gen flagship from OPPO which would likely be named Find 9. While latest news suggests that OPPO may have finally rested the Find series due to the success of the R-series, the OPPO Find 9 just won’t part ways with the rumour mills. Perhaps, that is an indication of how much fans desire for the Find 9 to come.

Yet again, another fresh set of OPPO Find 9 renders has appeared on Weibo from tipster @kjuma. The image on this latest render is different in design from what we had seen in the past. The new images shows the Find 9 featuring very narrow bezels on all four sides with a full-screen design. The device has a high screen to body ratio with top bezel almost absent, covered by the display to a large extent.

The renders did not contain that of the back view but it is likely the device comes with a rear fingerprint sensor since there is no physical button at the front. That is, of course, if it is not hidden under the glass (ultrasonic technology). The Find 9 on display looks like what has a metal body with only a slight curvature and a design consistent with previous Find-series phones except for the straight upper and lower edges.

We cannot really say if this is real but they look like a fan-generated render aimed to keep the Find 9 topic on the front burner. Before now, there were talks of the Find 9 featuring a Snapdragon 835 chip on one of its variant but presently, we are as confused as you are. We don’t know if the Find 9 is in the works and would release in the second half of this year or if the entire project has been discontinued. Only OPPO can answer that and they are too busy milking the R9 models to give us an answer.

The unending wait for the OPPO Find 9 lingers on and really some geeks are not making it any easier. Since the Find 7 dropped in 2014, fans have been in the wait for a true OPPO flagship to take over the baton from the Find 7, and that device was tipped to be the Find 9. While we are yet to see the Find 9, a video containing the renders of the device has popped up, courtesy of DBS Designing Team.

This isn’t the first concept design from DBS Design but obviously the concept they rendered in 2015 sure is in need of a make over, hence this latest design. The video shows the device with an edge-to-edge design and a fingerprint scanner embedded on the home screen up front. The design follows that of the Find 7, sporting a rectangular body, with a curvature at the top and bottom. The rendered Find 9 features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with dual curved edge display. The design also includes a USB Type-C port, as well as a special Skyline notification light which was a standout feature on previous OPPO devices.

As earlier revealed, the Find 9 would ditch the Color OS for an all new FindOS based on Android OS and that was taken into consideration in the render. The specs are also shown to be some high-end stuffs like a Snapdragon 835 SoC, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and a 5000 mAh battery with VOOC fast charging. There is also a 16MP front camera and a 13MP sensor at the rear. This year may just be the year of the Find 9, as rumors say the device would drop within the first half of the year. The elusive OPPO Find 9 project seems to still be in the works according to a recent rumor making the round. Just when we thought OPPO wasn’t going to release the Find 9 flagship anytime soon, the device popped up again with a company executive credited to have hinted that the Find 9 would be released within the first half of 2017.

This isn’t the first time we are getting rumors about the OPPO Find 9 launch. Since the release of the OPPO Find 7 in 2014, fans have been expectant of another true flagship from OPPO but over two years down the line, nothing is yet to materialize. All we keep getting are rumors upon rumors, despite the fact that OPPO has been actively releasing smartphones since then. But then no true flagship device has come out from the Chinese company since the Find 7.

The news of the Find 9 launching in the first half of 2017 was said to have been disclosed by a provincial executive at a recent OPPO shopping guide forum. Details about the location of the forum or the name of the company executive weren’t disclosed.

The OPPO Find 9 is rumored to come with a 5.5-inch dual edge AMOLED display with QHD resolution. The device is also rumored to sport a Snapdragon 835 chip as well as a whopping 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There may be two versions, with one packing a Snapdragon 653 chip and 4GB + 64GB storage. There are also rumors that the device will not run the Color OS but rather, will come preloaded with a new AI system called Find OS which would be tailored to users’ needs. We’ll keep our fingers crossed, hoping this year will indeed be the year of the Find 9.

The elusive OPPO Find 9 is in the news again, this time the device is rumored as coming within the first quarter of next year, precisely in March. Not just that, the device is also rumored to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chip making it a true flagship device.

The OPPO Find 9 has been in the rumor mill even long before the OPPO R9 and R9 Plus surfaced. The device is long expected considering that it is two clear years since OPPO released the OPPO Find 7 which is its most recent smartphone in the elite Find series. The latest disclosure was made by a Weibo user but we cannot authenticate its veracity. But the rumor somehow aligns with words of known analyst Pan Juitang that the Find 9 would be released in the summer of next year.

If eventually the device drops next year, most of its rumored specs would have become outdated such as the Android 5.1 Lollipop it is rumored as running. Certainly that would have been upgraded to Android Marshmallow if not the latest Android N. The device is also rumored to come  with a 5.5-inch dual edge AMOLED display with QHD resolution. The device was before now rumored to feature Snapdragon 821 chipset as against the Snapdragon 835 listed on this latest rumor. The phone is also rumored to feature a whopping 8GB RAM as well as 128GB of internal storage on board.

Recently, we came across new information about OPPO’s Find 9 series. The phone was spotted on the benchmarking app, AnTuTu revealing some key information about the device. However, like always, AnTuTu only revealed some hardware specs of the device. Now, more information about the phone’s battery have been revealed.

It is said that the OPPO Find 9 will come with the company’s recently announced Super VOOC fast charging technology. So, a simple 15 minutes charging will get your phone to 100% which is highly impressive. But when OPPO demoed this feature at MWC, it was with a 2500mAh battery. Although the charging time will be so less, we don’t think customers would be happy with a small 2500mAh capacity battery on board a flagship model. So, it would be interesting to see how big of a battery OPPO fits inside its new device.

A couple of renders of the Find 9 were also revealed, which shows an unusually long physical home button just below the display. Considering its length, we can expect this to come with a fingerprint sensor.

As for the specs, the leak earlier today revealed a low-end version of the OPPO Find 9. This particular model, namely X9007, comes with Snapdragon 820 quad-core chipset with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 1080p display of unknown size, 16MP rear camera and a 4MP front camera. Considering these specs, we can expect a high-end version as well, possibility with 2K display and 4GB / 6GB RAM options.

Earlier rumours state that the phone will be released sometime in June this year, which is just a few weeks away. So, if true, we can expect more details about the phone pretty soon.

We have been patiently waiting for the new generation model in the OPPO’s popular Find series, however till now, we haven’t managed to get any concrete information about the device. Now, a new model called OPPO x9007 has just been spotted on the benchmarking app, AnTuTu, revealing some specs details about the device. Considering the model number, timing and the specs of the device, this looks like a lower-end version of the upcoming OPPO Find 9 series.

According to this listing, the OPPO X9007 model, said to be the upgraded version of the OPPO Find 9 — most likely OPPO Find 9, will come with Snapdragon 820 quad-core chipset inside. OPPO’s Find series are known to feature top-end specs, so Snapdragon 820 isn’t a surprise. Further,r the phone will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There’s no information about MicroSD expansion. There would be a 1080p display of unknown size as well. At the back, the phone features a 16MP camera while up front, you get a 4MP shooter. Finally, for software, the Find 9 model comes with Android 6.0.

Taking a look at these specs, this could be one of the variants of the Find 9 series. However, we can expect much powerful variants as well, which should upgrade a lot of things like RAM to 4GB or even 6GB, resolution to 2K and storage to 64GB or 128GB. This would make the new Find 9 model a worthy successor to the previous generation models.

As for the other specs, earlier rumours claim that the Find 9 will come with OPPO’s Super VOOC fast charging tech that charges a 2500mAh battery in just 15 minutes. Then there’s the company’s self developed smart sensor that brings image stabilisation at the sensor level. There are even rumours about a 4K display, but we can’t be sure of that. As for the pricing, it could go as high as $616. The release is rumoured to be in June, but there’s no confirmation yet.

Anyway, let’s wait for the top-end variants of the new OPPO Find series to crop up online. Only then we would be able to paint a clear picture of what the company has in store for us in the second half of this year.

Its about time we see a new OPPO flagship, but as of now, we haven’t heard much about the OPPO Find 9. However, earlier today, in the marketing documents of China Mobile, we came across a paragraph which mentioned OPPO’s latest flagship, the Find 9.

The document quoted OPPO Find 9 among other smartphones saying it already supported Cat. 9 LTE networks. The same document revealed more details about the upcoming chipsets which will support the more advanced Cat. 10 LTE networks. 

Now, in this market, Snapdragon 810 is the only known chipset to support Cat. 9 LTE networks, which means that the new OPPO device could come with this chip under the hood. Also, given the fact that the phone is mentioned here, it looks like the company is already past the testing phase on the carrier. So, we should see the device pretty soon.

Unfortunately, OPPO has not revealed any details about its upcoming flagship. So, for official details, we may have to wait for a few weeks more.

We know OPPO has been busy working on its successor to the Find 7, but as of late, we have heard very little about the phone. Now, the OPPO Find has finally leaked again in pictures, showing off its unique design.

Although the images are not very clear, we managed to spot a few features of the upcoming device. For example, the first distinctive characteristic of the device is its dual camera setup at the back. It started with HTC and nowadays many companies like Huawei have started using such a setup. So, its not surprising to see such a dual camera unit at the back of Find 9 too.

Another interesting aspect revealed by this picture is the round button at the back. We feel this is the power button just like the one one LG G3. However, given its rather large size, we feel that it could be a fingerprint sensor too.

The front of the OPPO Find 9 is clean, but bezels looks very thin. As a result, the display covers the entire sides of the device. However, you do see top and bottom bezels which are quite thick. The basic design seems to be a continuation of OPPO Find 7.

Although this leak doesn’t reveal the tech specs, earlier leaks have said that the OPPO Find 9 will feature the powerful Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor with 4GB RAM and a 5.5-inch 2K display.

The company is yet to announce an official launch date for the OPPO Find 9, but we hope to see more information soon.

OPPO has been making the headlines for the past few days, thanks to the number of rumors and leaks that we have seen recently. But they have been mostly about the company’s upper mid-range devices and not flagships. However, a new image recently cropped up online claiming to the upcoming OPPO Find 9, which could be the company’s next flagship device.

The source reveals a phone with a large display,with the ear piece and the sensors too close to the top edge. So, the display could be covering a large portion of the device, making it nearly borderless.

The phone features a similar design profile as the Find 7, however its more flat and the display also covers a larger proportion of the overall body.

Unfortunately, there is nothing in the picture that says its the upcoming OPPO Find 9. Also, as of now, no technical specifications of the device have been leaked till now. So, as always, we will advise you to take the news with a pinch of salt.

We’ll keep you updated if any more specs details or images turn up online, but until then, its safe to assume that this news is probably fake.
