The OPPO Find X5 launched in the global market in three different variants: OPPO Find X5, Find X5 Pro and Find X5 Lite. This year, OPPO decided to launch the vanilla version instead of the Neo variant in order to provide two advanced flagships, but the midrange variant is not missing from the trio. This comparison between their specifications will explain to you the difference between each device from the new flagship series. Note that this comparison does not include the Dimensity 9000 version of the Find X5 Pro which was only launched in China, but the only difference between this device and the Snapdragon version (if we exclude the processor) is the absence of the MariSilicon X NPU.

Design

Naturally, the most attractive design belongs to the OPPO Find X5 Pro. This is one of the few flagships made of ceramic and it is extremely elegant. In China, it even comes in an additional blue color option made of leather. Right after, we got the OPPO Find X5 with a glass back and an aluminum frame, but you should not underestimate the Lite variant because it is the most compact, thinnest, and most lightweight device of the trio.

Display

The OPPO Find X5 Pro comes with the most advanced display: an AMOLED panel with one billion colors, the LTPO technology, a Quad HD+ resolution, and an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. The vanilla version still comes with a billion-color display, but it has a lower Full HD+ resolution and it lacks the LTPO technology. With the OPPO Find X5 Lite, you get an inferior AMOLED panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate like the one found on the Reno6.

Specs & Software

The most powerful chipset is the one found on the OPPO Find X5 Pro: the octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform running at a max frequency of 3 GHz. Then we got the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform of the original X5: still a flagship chipset, but with lower performance. The Find X5 Lite comes with the midrange Dimensity 900, not so impressive if compared to the other siblings.

Camera

The OPPO Find X5 and the Pro variant come with the same camera department including a pair of 50 MP sensors with OIS and a 13 MP telephoto lens with optical zoom. But the Pro variant adds the important MariSilicon X: the first proprietary chip released by OPPO. This chip is very important because it improves the photo and video quality, even in low light conditions. The Find X5 Lite has a midrange camera setup including a 64 MP main sensor.

Battery

Last but not least, the OPPO Find X5 Pro comes with a bigger 5000 mAh battery. The vanilla Find X5 supports 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging just like the Pro, but with a smaller 4800 mAh battery. The Find X5 Lite lacks wireless charging and comes with an even smaller 4500 mAh battery.

Price

The OPPO Find X5 Pro carries a price tag of €1300/$1421, the vanilla version costs €999/$1093, and the Lite is priced at €499/$546. These are the prices for the European market, but they obviously vary depending on the region.

While the hype on Oppo’s unveiling even was focused on the flagship Find X5 series, the Oppo Find X5 Lite was also part of the lineup released today. The Find X5 Lite is a reincarnation of the Reno 7 5G and the hardware features are not different from the Find X5 lineup although the designs take a bit different direction.

The Oppo Find X5 Lite has a smaller 6.43-inch screen than the Find X5 which has a screen size of 6.55 inches. The display supports HDR10+ with a lower display refresh rate of 90 Hz. While the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 although there is no water/ sweat resistance rating present for the device. The Oppo Find X5 Lite is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 chipset with a memory configuration of 8GB/256GB for the RAM/ internal storage. Both the RAM and internal storage could be scaled up as the smartphone will run on Android 12, with the ColorOS 12.1 available.

The Find X5 Lite has a 64MP main camera together with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro with the telephoto option absent. The ultra-wide sensor is capable of up to 119 degrees in range. The main camera is capable of recording 4K videos although the 4K Ultra Night mode for videos is absent.

The battery and a few other features of the Find X5 Lite are scaled-down replicas of the standard model but they remain a decent package for its price which is €480 ($544). There is no specific date for the release of the Find X5 Lite at this time.

Oppo has scheduled to launch the Find X5 series on February 24 in the market. Ahead of its release, we’ve seen the renders and specs of the vanilla Find X5 and Find X5 Pro. Now, the tipster @evleaks has shared the official renders of the upcoming Oppo Find X5 Lite.

Ther Find X5 Lite renders reveal the phone’s design. The device looks exactly like the Oppo Reno7 Indian model that launched a few weeks back. In addition to this, a tipster recently revealed that the X5 Lite will actually be a rebranded version of the Reno7. And after looking at the images, it appears to be true.

The smartphone sports the exact same punch-hole display, triple rear camera design, and has the same colors as the Reno7. Going by this, we can safely assume that the screen here on the Oppo Find X5 Lite is a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel.

A publication recently shared the specs sheet of the phone. The smartphone is said to feature a 90Hz panel with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display will double up as an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The selfie camera at the top left corner will be a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor. At the rear, it will feature a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera system. Here, the secondary sensor will be an ultra-wide lens with a 118.9-degree FOV and the tertiary lens will be a macro sensor.

Inside, the phone will have the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone is expected to have a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging technology. The phone will boot on ColorOS 12 based on Android 12.

Oppo is expected to launch the Find X5 series soon in the market. The series will have the vanilla X5, X5 Pro, and X5 Lite. Ahead of the series’ launch, there have been multiple leaks and certifications. Now, Winfuture has shared fresh renders and detailed the specs sheet of the Oppo Find X5 Lite.

Previously, a tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore revealed that the Oppo Find X5 Lite will be a rebranded version of the Oppo Reno7 5G. Now, the renders from the German publication confirm exactly the same. No doubt will indeed be a rebadged model.

Since it will be a rebadged model, the specs will be the same as the Reno7 5G. As per the specs sheet shared by the publication, the Oppo Find X5 Lite will sport a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+(2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. It will have a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The smartphone will come equipped with a triple camera system. It will feature a 64MP main lens with an f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with a 118.9-degree FOV, and lastly a 2MP macro lens. Upfront, there will be a 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie snapper.

Under the hood, it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 octa-core SoC. It will have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device will have dual-SIM support and pack a 4,500mAh battery. It will be supported by a 65W fast charging technology. As for security, it will have an under-display fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the device will run on ColorOS 12 based on Android 12.
