Oppo is expected to unveil the Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s Pro in April in China. However, it appears that the brand may have planned to launch the next-generation K Turbo series phones ahead of the X9 lineup. The reason behind this is that the rumored K15 Turbo and K15 Turbo Pro have appeared in TENAA’s database, revealing their images and key specifications.

Oppo K15 Turbo, K15 Turbo Pro specifications (rumored)

The alleged Oppo K15 Turbo and K15 Turbo Pro have been certified by TENAA with model numbers PMH110 and PMG110, respectively. While their final marketing names remain unconfirmed, these listings are widely believed to correspond to the next-generation K Turbo series phones.

The K15 Turbo is expected to feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2760 x 1256 pixels), while the Pro model may sport a larger 6.78-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution (1272 x 2772 pixels). Both devices are likely to support a high refresh rate of up to 165Hz. They are also expected to include in-display fingerprint sensors, with at least the Pro model tipped to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

The K15 Turbo is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 8500 chipset clocked at 3.4GHz, whereas the K15 Turbo Pro could feature the more powerful Dimensity 9500s chip clocked at 3.73GHz. The standard model is likely to arrive in multiple configurations, including 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB of RAM, along with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage. In comparison, the Pro variant is expected to offer 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB and 512GB storage options.

In terms of battery, the K15 Turbo is expected to pack a 7,265mAh rated battery, with a typical capacity of around 7,400mAh. Meanwhile, the K15 Turbo Pro could house a larger 7,760mAh rated battery, which may translate to a typical capacity of approximately 7,800mAh. There is no information on charging capabilities yet, but both devices could support 80W fast charging. It remains to be seen whether the Pro model will offer wireless charging.

For photography, both smartphones are expected to feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. On the rear, they are likely to be equipped with a dual-camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

Other expected features include an IR blaster, ColorOS 16-based Android 16, and a built-in cooling fan. The Pro variant is also rumored to include dedicated gaming shoulder buttons.

It is still unconfirmed whether these devices will be marketed as the K15 Turbo and K15 Turbo Pro or as the K14 Turbo series. Hence, it is advisable to wait for upcoming reports, as these devices are expected to debut by early April in China. Both models may also see a global release a couple of months later.

We’ve been hearing about the Oppo K15 Turbo series for a while now. A Chinese tipster on Weibo has now shared what could be the first images of the device, along with some key specs.

According to Digital Chat Station (DCS), the K15 Pro lineup may include two models. While the exact names aren’t confirmed yet, the devices could launch as the Oppo K15 Turbo and the Oppo K15 Turbo Pro.

Oppo K15 Turbo and K15 Turbo Pro Specifications

Based on the leaked images, the K15 Turbo phones have a flatter, more industrial design. The phone is said to feature a flat display, a metal frame, and a redesigned rear camera module.

Interestingly, DCS says both devices will feature a 50-megapixel dual-camera setup on the back. One notable carryover is the inclusion of an internal cooling fan. 

For context, last year’s Oppo K13 Turbo Pro introduced active cooling to Oppo’s mid-range lineup, along with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip and aggressive thermal management. The K15 Pro series seems to be building on that foundation.

The images also show ventilation cutouts along the frame and a capacitive touch button at the bottom.

Under the hood, the higher-end model is rumored to run on a Dimensity 9500s chip paired with a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS flat display with a high refresh rate. A more standard engineering variant is said to feature a Dimensity 8500 instead.

In the comments section of the leak, the tipster hints that pricing may increase compared to previous generations, largely due to the upgraded chipset and premium materials like the metal frame. The top configuration is also expected to include 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

Last but not least, the tipster claims the devices are currently slated to launch in April.

Oppo’s next performance phone might launch earlier than its usual timeline. According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the company is accelerating the launch of the new Oppo K Turbo series, with a release date planned earlier than its predecessor.

The line is currently rumored to be home to two models, the K15 Turbo and K15 Turbo Pro. Names are speculative, but Oppo is likely to skip K14 as 4 is considered bad luck in China.

Anyway, the K15 Turbo Pro is rumored to use MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500s processor, paired with a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS flat display. 

The tipster notes that the screen size and chipset are very close to what Redmi is expected to offer in its Turbo 5 Max smartphone. This suggests both the Turbo phones will compete in a similar price bracket. 

One feature that could help Oppo stand out is cooling. The leak claims that the highlight of the K15 Turbo series will be a built-in waterproof active cooling fan. Even the standard model is said to include this system, along with a slightly smaller 6.59-inch display. 

Redmi K100 will continue targeting the 4000 yuan market

The discussion around the leak also touched on Redmi’s strategy. A netizen asked whether the upcoming Redmi K100 would continue targeting the 4000 yuan price range after the mixed reception of the K90. 

The tipster responded that the K90 wasn’t really a failure, noting that it sold better than OnePlus in the same bracket and performed strongly overseas under the Poco brand. The next generation is expected to continue that same upgrade path.

For context, Oppo’s current K13 Turbo series launched in July last year with aggressive specifications, including a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, a 7000mAh battery, 80W fast charging, and IPX9 waterproof certification. It was also Oppo’s first midrange phone to feature an active cooling fan.

According to DCS, Oppo is currently testing next-generation K-series phones with Snapdragon 8-series chipsets. While the previous generation offered a 6.8-inch screen on the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro, the new leak suggests that their successors will have different screen sizes.

The leak suggests that the Oppo K15 Turbo will have a smaller 6.59-inch display and the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. On the other hand, the K15 Turbo Pro will feature a larger 6.78-inch LTPS display with a 1.5K resolution. This device will feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip.

While the Oppo K15 Turbo aims to balance performance and size, targeting users who prefer a more compact design, the larger model is said to come with a bigger battery and focus on high performance with a large display. The other details of the series, including its launch timeframe, are currently under wraps.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 details, upcoming phones

According to reports, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, built on TSMC’s N3P process with Oryon CPU architecture, will feature 2x 3.8GHz and 6x 3.32GHz cores alongside an Adreno 840 GPU running at around 1.2GHz. It scores about 3.3 million on AnTuTu and 3000/10,000 on Geekbench 6, with roughly 100 fps in the Aztec 1440p test. Performance matches the 8 Elite in CPU but slightly trails in GPU power, offering improved efficiency and stability.

The OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max will be the first phone to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip. It is also expected to power the Vivo S50 Pro Mini (Vivo X300 FE for the global market) and Moto X70 Ultra.

A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has confirmed the display and chipset details of the next-generation K Turbo Pro phone.

Oppo K15 Turbo series key details leaked

At present, there is no clarity on whether Oppo’s next-generation K Turbo-series phone will be called the K14 Turbo or the K15 Turbo. Some Chinese brands are known to skip the number “4” in the names of their devices, as it is considered a bad omen in some Asian markets. However, considering that Oppo did not skip the Reno 14 moniker, it remains to be seen whether its upcoming Turbo series will be dubbed K14 Turbo or K15 Turbo.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Oppo K15 Turbo and K15 Turbo Pro will feature a 6.5x-inch display, slightly smaller than the 6.67-inch OLED panel. He did not reveal the standard model’s chipset but mentioned the Pro version is currently being tested with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (SM8845), which is yet to go official.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is expected to deliver slightly lower performance compared to last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, despite achieving a 3.4 million score on AnTuTu versus the Elite’s 3.3 million. The upcoming chipset will be manufactured using TSMC’s advanced N3P process, ensuring improved efficiency and thermal management. It is also said to adopt a 2+6 architecture with Oryon CPU cores.

It is still too early to predict the launch timeline of the Oppo K15 Turbo series. If Oppo follows a six-month upgrade cycle, the device could debut around November. On the other hand, if it adheres to a one-year cycle, the launch may take place in April 2026. For now, it is best to wait for further reports to get more clarity on the K15 Turbo series.
