The Oppo Pad Air is the brand’s second tablet. Unlike the original Oppo Pad, it is a budget model.

The device debuted with ColorOS 12 based on Android 12. It got access to the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 beta in early December.

Now, more than two months later, the tablet finally gets the ColorOS 13 stable update.

The Android 13 stable update for the Oppo Pad Air is currently live in China. It is only available for a select few users as part of the batched rollout.

It should reach all users in the coming days in the brand’s home country. Unfortunately, we don’t have any info on global rollout since the device is not even listed in the Q1 2023 rollout plan. Therefore, the beta release outside mainland China may begin in April at the earliest.

Officially, Oppo hasn’t revealed the software update policy for the Oppo Pad Air. But we believe that the tablet will likely receive at least one more Android update.

The Oppo Pad Air is an inexpensive Android tablet powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. It is built around a 10.36-inch display (LCD) with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels, 10-bit color depth, and stylus input support.

The product comes with an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, quad speakers, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, a 7,100mAh battery, and 18W wired charging support.

OPPO announced its ColorOS 13 user interface after the official announcement of Android 13 by Google. The newly upgraded UI brings many new changes like upgraded system fluency, support for new widgets, a new quantum animation engine and a more personalized experience. The brand then started rolling out the ColorOS 13 to its various devices and some selected flagships also grabbed the update only a few days after the official announcement.

Well, we have good news to share regarding the OPPO Pad Air device. The beta testing for the ColorOS 13 has gone live for OPPO Pad Air. The recruitment has been started officially by the brand. Interested users who are willing to join the beta program can enrol themselves for it. And the first beta update for the device will go live after 5-7 days when the enrollment has been closed.

In order to apply for it, your Pad Air should be running the latest A.10 update. If so, then open the Settings app, go to Device info and then click on the button present in the early right corner and then click on Apply for early adapters. A form will pop out in front of you. Now fill in the information required and click on submit. This will send your request to the brand for approval. Now sit back and relax until the application gets approved. If it gets approved, then you will receive the beta update soon.

The company has also released a few lists of requirements, one of which states that if you want to participate in the beta programme, you must be interested in working with the ColorOS team. The user should be knowledgeable enough in the subject and ready to put up with the system’s shortcomings and instability. Most importantly, the user must have the guts to alert the team to any issues or vulnerabilities so that they can be fixed as quickly as possible.

These displays are IPS LCD panels, so do not expect amazing color reproduction. But they are still very nice because they are able to show one billion colors. They also provide a good level of detail thanks to a resolution of 1200 x 2000 pixels. Even the brightness is not bad with 360 or 400 nits. The highest-end memory configuration of this device is the same, with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of native storage. The Helio G99 chipset is superior to the Snapdragon 680. These two tablets run Android 12 out of the box with highly customized user interfaces on top, and the OPPO has special features designed for tablets.

Camera

While the main cameras of these tablets are the same 8 MP sensors and provide similar photo quality, the Redmi Pad is equipped with a better front camera, sporting an 8 MP resolution and an ultrawide lens with a FOV of up to 105 degrees.

In early October, Xiaomi released the first tablet under the Redmi brand. The device is aptly named Redmi Pad.

It is currently the best-value budget Android tablet in almost all the markets where it is available. We even explained the reason behind it.

In India, it is priced at ₹14,999, ₹14,999, and ₹14,999 for 3GB + 64GB, 4GB +  128GB, and 6GB + 128GB memory configurations, respectively. 

The tablet has multiple competitors in the country. But only three of them can be considered a good alternative.

However, before going through the competition, let’s check out what the Redmi Pad has to offer.

The Redmi Pad sports a metal unibody design. It flaunts a 10.61-inch 10-bit display (LCD) with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels (WUXGA+) and up to a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen comes with 220 PPI and 400 nits peak brightness level.

Like most tablets, this one is also TÜV Rheinland-certified for low blue light emission. Additionally, it is the world’s first tablet to be certified by SGS for low visual fatigue.

Further, the device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It boots MIUI for Pad, which is an optimized version of MIUI for tablets. Xiaomi promises 2 Android and MIUI updates each and 3 years of security updates.

The tablet arrives with Dolby Atmos-supported quad speakers, an 8MP rear camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, and a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 1TB). On the connectivity front, it offers dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C.

Last but not least, it is backed by an 8,000mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging.

With that out of the way, let’s take a look at the top competitors of the Redmi Pad in India.

The Best Redmi Pad Alternatives in India

Oppo Pad Air

Software is one of the key highlights of the Redmi Pad. This is the case with Oppo Pad Air as well. It boots ColorOS for Pad, an optimized version of ColorOS for tablets. Unlike the Redmi Pad, the Oppo Pad Air can also be used with phones and Windows PC for productivity via PC Connect.

Further, it has a capable chip in the form of Qualcomm Snapdragon 680. However, the battery is smaller and so is the display. But there’s support for a stylus, which is sold separately.

The tablet is priced at ₹16,999 and ₹19,999 for 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB memory configurations, respectively.

Motorola Moto Tab G62

For some reason, if you want a near-stock Android on a tablet and good hardware in the budget segment, then the Motorola Moto Tab G62 is probably the best option.

Just like the Oppo Pad Air, it is also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. However, it sports an almost same-sized display as the Redmi Pad and even comes in a cellular (LTE) variant.

Moreover, its battery is only slightly smaller at 7,700mAh and there’s support for faster 20W wired charging.

The WiFi-only variant of the Moto Tab G62 is priced at ₹15,999, whereas the WiFi + LTE version costs ₹17,999. Both models arrive with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A8

The Galaxy Tab A8 also ships with customized software for tablets. In fact, Samsung’s tablet software can be considered the best on Android.

However, the device houses a slower Unisoc T618 chipset. Also, it is backed by a smaller battery (7,040mAh) than the other two alternatives as well as the Redmi Pad, in addition to having the slowest charging speed (15W).

But it can be availed in a cellular variant, just like the Moto Tab G62. Both WiFi-only and WiFi + LTE models come in 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB memory configurations in India.

Currently, the WiFi version starts at around ₹15,000, while the LTE variant begins at around ₹20,000. The price of the tablet may vary across different channels.

Besides the new Honor 70, the brand announced the new Honor Pad 8 for the European market. A few days before, OPPO launched its first tablet in the old continent: the OPPO Pad Air. These two devices belong to the same range and they pack similar specifications. But which one is the best? There is no better way to understand it than an article like this. This is a comparison between the main specifications of the OPPO Pad Air and the Honor Pad 8 which will highlight the main differences between these two great tablets for the affordable segment.

The design of the OPPO Pad Air is definitely more curated. It has a rear side made of two pieces with a very refined texture including the metal. It is more compact than the Honor Pad 8 and it is even lighter, but there is not much difference between the batteries of these two devices. The OPPO Pad Air is the winner of the design comparison. It has a very high screen to body ratio with the display taking more than 80 percent of the front panel. It is just 6.9 mm thin and it sports a single camera on the rear side. Unfortunately, there is no fingerprint reader, but this makes the design cleaner. Its overall dimensions are 245.1 x 154.8 x 6.9 mm and it weighs 440 grams. The Honor Pad 8 has a full aluminum unibody design and a very high screen to body ratio, but it is less impressive than its rival in terms of design, and it is even bigger and heavier.

Display

The displays of these two tablets are more or less at the same level in terms of image quality. They are IPS LCD panels able to show up to one billion colors with a Full HD+ resolution of 1200 x 2000 pixels. We are not talking about high-end displays as they are not even OLED panels, but they still have a great color reproduction and they are pretty good panels if we consider that these devices are tablets. In this price range, it is not easy to find better displays. But what really differs between these two panels is the size: the Honor Pad 8 has a bigger 12-inch panel, while the OPPO Pad Air stops at just 10.36 inches. This makes the Honor better for productivity, studying, and advanced users. Further, the Honor Pad 8 should provide a superior audio experience because it is equipped with eight speakers instead of just four speakers like the OPPO tablet.

Specs & Software

The OPPO Pad Air and the Honor Pad 8 are fueled by the same mobile platform: the Snapdragon 680 chipset by Qualcomm built with a 6 nm production process. It is a midrange SoC with an octa-core architecture composed of four Kryo 265 Gold custom cores running at a max frequency of 2.4 GHz, four Kryo 265 Silver custom cores running at 1.9 GHz, and an Adreno 610 GPU. It is a sufficient processor for every usage and it is paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. In terms of performance, it is essentially a draw. There is just one important difference: the internal storage of the OPPO tablet is expandable with a micro SD, while the Honor Pad 8 does not seem to have a micro SD slot. Last but not least, the OPPO Pad Air seems to have better software: we are talking about the ColorOS for Pad based on Android 12: a version of the ColorOS user interface designed specifically for tablets.

Camera

Again, if you are looking for a better camera, you should opt for the OPPO Pad Air. On the rear side, it sports a great 8 MP shooter with an f/2.0 focal aperture: definitely better than the disappointing 5 MP shooter of the Honor Pad 8. The front cameras are more or less at the same level, with 5 MP resolutions. These are not great tablets to shoot photos, but they are sufficient for emergency shots.

Battery

The Honor Pad 8 is a bigger tablet and it also comes with a bigger battery, but the difference between the battery capacities is just marginal: 7250 mAh against 7100 mAh. However, this should be enough to let the Honor tablet last more on a single charge. Further, the Honor Pad 8 is the only one to support reverse charging and it charges quicker thanks to a faster 22.5W charging technology.

Price

The starting price of the OPPO Pad Air for the European market is €300/$300 for the base variant with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of native storage, while you need €330/$330 to purchase the base variant of the Honor Pad 8 packing the same memory configuration. I personally prefer the OPPO because of its micro SD slot, better design, more compact dimensions, great software, and better camera, but the Honor Pad 8 has a bigger battery and a bigger display. It has a very high screen to body ratio and one single camera placed on the upper left corner of the rear side. It supports the stylus for handwriting and drawing, so it is a very good tablet for productivity, even though it is an affordable model. Even though the OPPO Pad Air wins the design comparison, the Motorola Moto Tab G62 remains a beautiful device. It is made entirely of aluminum with the exception of the front glass: it has an aluminum back, an aluminum frame, and a very thin profile with a thickness of just 7.5 mm. Further, it has a water repellent body, so you can use it even in the rain. The screen to body ratio is high even in this case but this device does not support the stylus for handwriting and drawing.

Display

If you are looking for the best image quality, you should go for the OPPO Pad Air. It has an IPS LCD display, so nothing particularly amazing because the best displays are OLED. But it is able to show up to one billion colors, so you can get good color accuracy. The display has a diagonal of 10.36 inches, a Full HD+ resolution of 1200 x 2000 pixels and, as already mentioned, it supports the stylus. The display of the Motorola Moto G62 is inferior in terms of image quality, but it is a bigger panel, with a diagonal of 10.6 inches. It has a Full HD+ resolution of 1200 x 2000 pixels and IPS LCD technology. Both the tablets feature four stereo speakers for an improved audio experience, but they lack a fingerprint reader and you can only unlock them through a code or other traditional methods.

Now, let’s talk about the hardware department. These are midrange tablets, and midrange tablets are usually inferior to midrange phones. So you should not expect blazing speeds and the highest performance, but these devices are always more than acceptable. The OPPO Pad Air wins the hardware comparison because it provides a higher amount of RAM and internal storage: it offers up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.2 native storage which you can furtherly expand with a micro SD, while the Motorola Moto Tab G62 stops at 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of expandable native storage. These tablets run Android 12 out of the box, but the ColorOS for Pad found on the OPPO device is way better than the Motorola customized user interface.

Camera

Do you need a better rear camera? If so, then buy the OPPO Pad Air. It has the same 8 MP resolution as the Motorola Moto Tab G62, but thanks to a brighter f/2.0 focal aperture and a better camera algorithm, it is able to provide higher camera performance. On the other hand, the Moto Tab G62 by Motorola has a better 8 MP front camera.

In May, OPPO unveiled the OPPO Pad Air tablet in China. Since then, the tablet has been available in Fog Gray and Star Silver shades. Now, the brand has announced a new purple variant of the tablet in the home market. The company is now receiving pre-orders for the new color variant.

The tablet comes in three configurations: 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. These variants are priced at 1,299 Yuan (~$192), 1,499 Yuan (~$221), and 1,699 Yuan (~$251), respectively.

In China, the purple edition of the OPPO Pad Air will come in 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB variants only. The shipment of the new color variant is expected to start on Aug. 10 in the home market. The Pad Air is available in gray color only in India. It is not clear if India will get the other colour versions of the tablet.

OPPO Pad Air specifications and features

Oppo has just recently announced its first Android tablet, the Pad Air, for the Indian market. However, the new tablet has yet to be made available for sale. But, its set to release in the region tomorrow. So, here’s its pricing, specs, and some special launch offers.

For those unaware, the Chinese tech giant had announced the new Pad Air tablet in India last week. It arrives with a massive 10.6 inch IPS LCD panel that has a 2K resolution and standard 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the new device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC that is paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. OPPO Pad Air has launched in India today. It has debuted alongside the OPPO Reno 8 series smartphones and OPPO Enco X2 TWS earphones. The Pad Air is the brand’s first tablet in India. It had debuted in China earlier in May this year. The Indian variant comes with the same specifications.

The OPPO Pad Air sports a metallic body and a dual-tone back panel. It features a 10.36-inch LCD display bearing a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels and offering 360 nits peak brightness. The tablet comes with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing selfie snapper. It is equipped with quad speakers.

Internally, the OPPO Pad Air is equipped with a Snapdragon 680 processor. It packs up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage that is expandable via a microSD card slot. The tablet draws its power from a 7,100mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging.

Oppo is holding a major launch event in India this week to reveal the company’s latest electronic products for the Indian market, which include its next-generation of Oppo Reno smartphones, wireless earphones and an affordable Android tablet.

Oppo has announced that the company will be launching 3 new product lines at the “OPPOverse” launch event tomorrow. The products aforementioned are respectively the latest Oppo Reno 8 series of mid-range smartphones, the company’s shiniest and newest Oppo Enco X2 wireless ANC earbuds, and a new yet affordable Android tablet from the brand called the Oppo Pad Air.

Oppo Reno 8 Series

The Oppo Reno 8 series is expected to be the highlight of the event. The Oppo Reno 8 series is placed in the mid-range category of devices offered in the brand’s smartphone portfolio. It is the successor to the popular selling Oppo Reno 7 series launched last year.

Oppo will launch two Reno 8 models in the Indian market, the standard Oppo Reno 8, and the Oppo Reno 8 Pro. The former will launch with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC under the hood, while the latter will feature MediaTek Dimensity 8100 MAX flagship SoC.

However, the MediaTek SoCs are not the only silicon powering the Oppo Reno 8 series. Oppo has revealed that the company’s own in-house developed Marisilicon X NPU will also be present in the Oppo Reno 8 series to bring the camera performance of these smartphones to the next level.

Both smartphones will also sport the flagship 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor in its triple camera setup, which is the same main sensor used in the company’s flagships like the Oppo Find X5 Pro and Oppo Find X3 Pro.

Oppo Enco X2 and Oppo Pad Air

Besides the Reno smartphones, Oppo will also be launching the Oppo Enco X2 and Oppo Pad Air in the Indian market tomorrow as well.

The Oppo Enco X2 are the company’s latest generation of TWS wireless earbuds which feature active noise cancellation, wireless charging as well as a lightweight and ergonomic design.

The Oppo Enco X2 earbuds were launched earlier in the year in China with an in-ear style construction. Compared to its predecessor, the newer Oppo Enco X2 brings some notable upgrades such as support for Bluetooth 5.2, low latency 94ms Bluetooth transmission, IP54 dust and water resistance, and noise cancellation that can filter out noises of up to 45dB.

When paired with the charging case, the battery life of these earbuds can reach up to 20 hours with ANC on or 27 hours with ANC off. Buyers will also be glad to know that the earbuds support both USB-C wired charging, and Qi Wireless Charging to top up the battery.

As for the Oppo Pad Air, it is the brand’s first-ever Android tablet in the Indian market. From what we have gathered so far, we know that the Oppo Pad Air will be featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset, a 10.36-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution along with a 7100 mAh battery.

In late May, Oppo launched a budget tablet called Oppo Pad Air in China. This device is being rumored to debut in India alongside the Oppo Reno 8 series for the last few weeks. Today, the brand has officially confirmed that it’s indeed going to announce the tablet next week.

The Oppo Pad Air is scheduled to launch in India on July 18. The company’s first tablet in the country will be presented alongside the Oppo Reno 8 Series and Oppo Enco X2 at an event that will begin at 6 PM IST.

Oppo India has confirmed that the tablet will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 4GB RAM. Further, going by the promotional renders, the variant coming to the region will be most likely the same as the original Chinese version.

Hence, the Oppo Pad Air for India will come with a metal unibody casing. It will sport a 10.36-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels.

The tablet will feature LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, and a MicroSD card slot for up to 512GB of storage expansion. It will boot ColorOS 12 based on Android 12.

The device will arrive with Dolby Atmos-supported quad speakers, an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and stylus input support. Last but not least, the connectivity options on it will include dual-band WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C port.

OPPO Reno 8 series will be announced later this month in India. If a recent rumor is to be believed, it may go official on July 21 in the country. The lineup will most likely include two models: the Reno 8 and the Reno 8 Pro. Reliable tipster Mukul Sharma has revealed that OPPO will launch two tablets in India.

According to Sharma, OPPO will be launching the OPPO Air Pad in India. It will be aimed toward the offline market. The other tablet will be an online-focused device that will be priced between Rs 10,000 (~$126) and Rs 15,000 (~$190). Unfortunately, there is no information on the final marketing name of this device. The tipster has also shared the key specifications of the OPPO Pad Air.

Sharma revealed that the Indian variant of the OPPO Pad Air will have a 10.36-inch IPS LCD panel that offers a 2K resolution and will be powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset. It will pack a 7,100mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

The OPPO Pad Air will be equipped with 4 GB of RAM, 3 GB of virtual RAM, and 128 GB of native storage. It will arrive with Dolby Atmos-powered quad stereo speakers. It will have a slim profile of 6.94mm.  The tipster did not mention anything about the cameras on the device. But it looks like the Pad Air sold in India will be the same as the Pad Air sold in China.

There is no word on the launch date of the upcoming OPPO tablets. There is a possibility that the new OPPO tablets may go official alongside the Reno 8 lineup.

Although the database listing didn’t reveal any details regarding the specifications of the tablet, it hints at an imminent launch.

The Snapdragon 695 5G is paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage. The OPPO Pad Air loses the battle because it sports an inferior Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G mobile platform (even in this case, there is no cellular connectivity), but on the other hand, it features a micro SD slot in order to expand the internal storage. Both the tablets run Android 12 out of the box customized by the same user interface, even though with different names (ColorOS and Realme UI).

Camera

If you are in search of the best camera, then the Realme Pad X is a better option for you. It has a better rear sensor with a 13 MP resolution: not comparable to the sensor found on Android phones (even the entry-level ones), but good for a tablet. Even the front camera is better if compared to the OPPO Pad Air, with an 8 MP resolution and a 105° FOV.

This year OPPO debuted in the tablet market as well with the OPPO Pad, but it decided to start with a high-end tablet. Now, the OPPO Pad Air went official and it came to the shelves as an affordable model just like the Realme Pad. These two tablets are actually very similar and it may be hard for non-expert people to understand which one is the best. This is a comparison between the OPPO Pad Air and the Realme Pad which will help you to understand the differences between these two tablets and which one you should choose for your actual needs.

Design

Despite being a very affordable tablet, the Realme Pad has a very good build quality. If we exclude the upper and the lower part made of polycarbonate in order to let the antenna signal penetrate in the LTE variant, the rest of the rear body and the frame are made of aluminum. Further, the device comes with very narrow bezels around the display giving the tablet a very elegant look. It is an affordable tablet, but it looks like a high-end device and it is hard to distinguish it from iPads and other expensive tablets. But the OPPO Pad Air not only wins this comparison but also provides great image quality as its display is able to show up to one billion colors. If we exclude the color accuracy, these two displays are more or less the same. The diagonals are very similar: 10.36 inches and 10.4 inches, and they both come with a Full HD+ resolution of 1200 x 2000 pixels. They also come with four stereo speakers for a good audio experience, but they lack a 3.5 mm audio jack. Unfortunately, the refresh rate is standard: just 60 Hz.

Specs & Software

There is an important difference between the hardware departments of these two tablets: the processor. The Snapdragon 680 mobile platform found on the OPPO Pad Air is way better than the MediaTek Helio G80 found on the Realme Pad. First of all, it provides better CPU performance. Further, it is built with a 6 nm production process (instead of 12 nm) and this means that it has lower energy consumption. Last but not least, the OPPO tablet comes with a UFS 2.2 internal storage which is actually faster than the eMMC internal storage found on the Realme one. The OPPO Pad Air wins even when it comes to the software: it runs Android 12 out of the box customized by ColorOS 12, while the Realme Pad is still based on Android 11 and it will probably get only one single major update to Android 12.

Camera

If we talk about the rear cameras, there is not any difference between these two tablets: they are equipped with a single 8 MP rear camera that records 1080p videos at 30 fps. The Realme Pad is superior when it comes to the front camera, thanks to an 8 MP ultrawide selfie snapper. Thanks to this superiority, the Realme tablet is a better device for video calls and conferences.

Realme Pad and OPPO Pad Air come with the same battery capacity of 7100 mAh. Their batteries support 18W fast charging and reverse charging, so you can use them as a power bank. It operates on Android 12-based ColorOS out of the box and has a 7100mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

The tablet doesn’t cut corners with its audio system as it features Dolby Atmos tuned quad-speaker setup for powerful and crisp sound. Additionally, the tablet also supports the OPPO stylus with features like 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and an adjustable tip to make feel more natural while using the stylus.

Other than that, the tablet is packed with multiple sensors like a geomagnetic induction, light sensor, acceleration sensor, gyroscope, hall sensor, and supports step counting function. For connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi 5, and a USB Type-C slot. It lacks a 3.5mm audio port.

Cameras

Coming to optics, the OPPO Pad Air has an 8-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, 80 degrees field of view, and support for Continous Auto Focus. On the front, the tablet has a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 and 77 degrees field of view.

The rear camera is capable of up to 1080p 30fps video recording and does not support 60 fps recording. The front camera on the other hand is capable of 1080P/720P recording at 30fps and comes with a beauty filter enabled out of the box.

Coming to the camera features of the tablet, the primary camera gets access to portrait, panorama, and time-lapse photography, while the front camera offers portrait and time-lapse photography modes.

The tablet comes in three memory and storage configurations with their prices listed below.

• 4GB + 128GB – 1499 Yaun ($225)

The tablets come in two colors namely Fog Gray and Star Silver.

Additionally, OPPO has also revealed the pricing of the accessories that go along with the OPPO Pad Air. The Stylus and folio case with the keyboard are priced at 299 Yuan ($45) and 349 Yuan ($52) respectively, while the stand cover and screen protector are priced at 99 Yuan ($15) and 59 Yuan ($9). The tablet is available for pre-order in China and will go on the first sale starting May 31.

Oppo is trying its hands on tablets. The company recently announced the OPPO Pad in China and quietly followed it up with the latest Oppo Pad Air. The Chinese tech giant aims to dominate the mid-range tablet market with its new offering. Oppo Pad Air was made available for pre-orders yesterday in China. Today, it is reported that it has entered the testing phase in Asian and Eurasian countries, hinting at an imminent launch.

Tipster Mukul Sharma revealed in a tweet that the internal testing of the OPPO Pad Air has started in various Asian and Eurasian countries and it will be unveiled soon. He also believes that the India launch of the tablet is near.
