In late January, OPPO started recruiting ColorOS 11 (Android 11) beta testers for the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom in India and Indonesia. Now, one and a half months later, the company has begun to release the stable update for this handset in the said regions.

Last week, OPPO shared the ColorOS 11 update plan for the month of March 2021. As per the timeline, the OEM was supposed to roll out the stable update for the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom on March 9. And the smartphone maker did the same.

OPPO has been rolling out the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom Android 11 stable update in India and Indonesia since yesterday. In order to download and install the latest system update, users will need to navigate to Settings > Software Updates > Gear Icon > Official Version Application and mark the ‘I Agree’ checkbox before tapping on ‘Apply Now’.

In other words, the update is currently only available for users who apply for it manually as mentioned above. Anyway, it should be available for the users without application in the coming days.

That said, the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom ColorOS 11 stable update comes with firmware versions C.33 and C.34 for India and Indonesia respectively. In order to apply for this update, users need to be on build number F.40.

Android 11 could be the last major system update for the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom. Because OPPO is not known for providing three Android updates. The phone was launched with Android 9.0 Pie and was updated to Android 10 (ColorOS 7.x) last year.

OPPO has been rolling out ColorOS 11 update to the eligible smartphones since it was announced back in mid-September 2020. The latest version of the company’s mobile operating system is based on Android 11 and it brings some interesting features. That said, the brand has now started recruiting beta testers for OPPO Reno 10x in India and Indonesia.

Earlier this month, OPPO shared the ColorOS 11 update rollout plan for the month of January 2021. According to it, the company is supposed to start rolling out beta builds for OPPO Reno2 F in India and OPPO Reno 10x Zoom in both India and Indonesia starting today (January 26).

Following the schedule, the Chinese smartphone maker has been recruiting beta testers for the Reno2 F for the past few days. Now, yesterday, the brand has opened registrations for the Reno 10x Zoom as well.

In order to apply for the beta program, your OPPO Reno 10x Zoom should be either on firmware version C.33 or C.22. If it is, then head over to Settings > Software Update > Gear Icon > Apply for Beta Version > Update Beta Version and follow the on-screen instructions. If your application gets selected, you will be receiving the ColorOS 11 beta build via update.

As mentioned earlier, this program is currently limited to India and Indonesia only. Users in other regions will have to wait and also, even for these two countries, there’s no telling when the final stable rollout will begin for all the users.
