To recall, the Reno 15c was also announced alongside the above-mentioned models earlier this month in India. So, the specifications and price of the device are already known. While the phone was announced at that time, it is only set to go on sale on February 3 in the country

The Oppo Reno 15c has a 6.57-inch OLED panel that delivers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with an HBM brightness of 1,400 nits. Under the hood, the device features the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The Reno 15c comes preloaded with ColorOS 16-based Android 16. It has a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus support and a 50-megapixel main camera on the back, coupled with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The Reno 15c comes with other features, such as an IR blaster, dual speakers, and a side-facing fingerprint sensor. It has a slim profile of 8.14mm and weighs around 195 grams.

Under the hood, this model is equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC that is coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A huge 7,000mAh battery pack powers this model, which is larger than even the top end Reno 15 Pro. You also get 80W wired fast charging.

For photography, the back has a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro shooter, while the front houses a 50MP selfie shooter. According to the leak, the Indian Reno 15c features a 6.57-inch FHD LTPS OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1400 nits. 

Under the hood, the phone is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The rear camera reportedly includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies, there’s a 50MP ultrawide front camera.

One of the Reno 15C’s standout features is its massive 7000mAh battery. That’s paired with 80-watt fast charging, so the top-up should be quick.

The phone will reportedly come in two color options—Twilight Blue and Afterglow Pink—and has a relatively slim profile at 8.14mm thickness. Weight is listed at 189 grams for one variant and 195 grams for the other.

What’s the difference between Reno 15c China and India

The Oppo Reno 15c in China and India differ in terms of display, processor, camera setup, and battery capacity.

The Chinese version sports a 6.59-inch flat OLED display, while the Indian variant comes with a slightly smaller 6.57-inch FHD LTPS OLED panel. They both have a 120Hz refresh rate, though.

As for the performance, you get a more powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in China paired with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. 

There’s also a difference in the camera system. The rear system includes a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide (IMX355), and a 50MP telephoto lens (Samsung JN5). Oppo Reno 15c in India, however, is likely to miss a telephoto.

Last but not least, battery capacity is larger on the Indian Reno 15c at 7000mAh compared to 6500mAh in the China variant. Both support 80W fast charging.

Reports suggest that the Reno 15 series for the global market will include four or more devices. Names like Reno 15 Mini and Reno 15 Pro Max have also emerged, which are not associated with the Chinese models.

As per a recent X post by tipster Paras Guglani, the Reno 15 series for India will include as many as four models, such as the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, Reno 15c, and Reno 15 Pro Mini. He also mentioned what appear to be the main features of each of these phones.

According to the tipster, the Reno 15 will bring a periscope telephoto camera, support up to 120x digital zoom, and will be priced under Rs 50,000. The Pro model will add wireless charging, the 15c will house a massive 7,000mAh battery—a first for the Reno series—and will be priced under Rs 40,000, while the Pro Mini variant will feature a 200-megapixel AI portrait main camera.

The company is yet to disclose any technical details about the Reno 15 series. Therefore, it is advisable to wait for more teasers to know what to expect from the next-generation Reno models.

So, the device that remains nameless so far is the 6.59-inch model. It would be a bit odd for this device to sport the Oppo Reno 15c moniker. Therefore, it is advisable to wait for further reports for clarity about the Reno 15 devices’ names and their display sizes.

There has been some confusion about the Reno 15 Pro’s battery size and its front camera. A previous report claimed a 6,300mAh battery size and a 32-megapixel front camera. But this rumour has been debunked, with the above-mentioned tipster claiming a battery size of 6,500mAh. For selfies, it will feature a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.

The rest of its specs include a 6.78-inch flat OLED 1.5K 120Hz screen, a 200-megapixel (main, OIS)+ 50-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 50-megapixel (periscope) triple camera unit, and the Dimensity 8450 chipset.
