OPPO Reno 8 4G has launched in Indonesia. It is the fourth device in the Reno 8 series after the standard, Pro, and Pro+ variants. The latest offering is a slightly toned-down variant of its 5G counterpart. Read on to know more about the Reno 8 4G below. 

OPPO Reno 8 4G specifications 

The OPPO Reno 8 4G features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display bearing an FHD+ resolution. It has a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner and a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is also integrated with a fingerprint scanner. The back panel has a squarish camera module. 

The OPPO Reno 8 4G sports triple rear cameras. The setup comprises a 64MP main sensor paired with a 2MP macro unit and a 2MP mono lens. There is a 32MP front-facing snapper for selfies. 

Under the hood, the OPPO Reno 8 4G is equipped with a Snapdragon 680 processor. It packs 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. There is 5GB virtual RAM expansion technology. The smartphone draws its power from a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for 33W fast charging. Software-wise, the device runs on ColorOS 2.1 based on Android 12. 

OPPO Reno 8 4G pricing and availability

The OPPO Reno 8 4G is offered in Dawnlight Gold and Starlight Black colours. It carries a price tag of Rp 4,999,000 ($338) and is available for pre-order from JD, Lazada, Shopee, and Blibli in the country.

OPPO has recently launched the OPPO Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8Z smartphones in the global market. All three devices carry support for 5G connectivity. According to a new report by Pricebaba, the Chinese manufacturer is gearing up to launch another Reno 8 series phone called the Reno 8 4G. The publication has leaked its render and key specifications.

OPPO Reno 8 4G specifications (rumored)

The Reno 8 4G will come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass protection. The punch-hole panel will house a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

The Reno 8 4G’s rear camera setup will be headlined by a 64-megapixel main camera. It will be coupled with a pair of 2-megapixel cameras for macro and depth shots. The device will come preloaded with Android 12 OS with ColorOS 12 UI on top.

The Snapdragon 680 chip will power the device. It will offer 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in storage. The device will pack a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The device seems to be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

There is no word on the price of the OPPO Reno 8 4G. Shown above are the Dawnlight Gold and Starlight Black color variants of the smartphone. The device is expected to be released in select markets in the coming days. The publication claims that it will also be launched in India.
