Oppo announced ColorOS 7 in November of 2019 but unfortunately, the company has only now started to roll out stable updates to the first batch of devices in China. Currently, six devices are receiving the update. Hopefully, the brand will seed out the ColorOS 7 stable update to more devices in the coming days.

The handsets that are currently receiving the ColorOS 7 stable update are as follow.

• Oppo Reno
• Oppo Reno FC Barcelona Edition
• Oppo Reno Inspiration Edition
• Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition
• Oppo Reno Ace
• Oppo Reno Ace Gundam Edition

As you can see from the list above, only the premium and a couple of mid-rangers are being treated with ColorOS 7, which itself is about 5 months old now. Even, the company has now moved on to ColorOS 7.1, which debuted on the recently launched Oppo Find X2 and Find X2 Pro.

Oppo has failed in updating its devices on time and the company claims coronavirus outbreak to be the cause for it. However, the company did manage to roll out beta updates to a number of eligible devices.

The above-mentioned devices were supposed to get early adopter as well as stable updates in Q1. But, the early adopter program was postponed from January to March in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis and thus the stable updates are being released now in Q2.

OPPO and FC Barcelona have had a long-standing partnership since 2015. This is why every year we see special FC Barcelona editions of best-selling OPPO models. This year isn’t any different with the company announcing that the special OPPO Reno 10X Zoom FC Barcelona edition will meet us tomorrow. This special edition of the flagship will join the likes of OPPO R11, R9, R7 Plus, and even the F1 Plus which had their own Barcelona editions. 

The OPPO Reno 10X Zoom FC Barcelona edition should have some additional design elements as compared to the regular edition. With previous special editions, OPPO had made the phone available in FC Barcelona’s iconic blue and red shades along with a 18K gold plated emblem (on the F11 Barcelona edition) of the club at the back. There are usually some FC Barcelona themed customizations inside the phone too. 

Unfortunately, OPPO’s teaser doesn’t give us a glimpse of the upcoming device. All we know is that the phone will be revealed tomorrow. As for the specs, expect it to be identical to the high-end OPPO Reno 10X Zoom variant. So you should have the same Snapdragon 855 processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, 48MP+13MP+8MP triple camera setup at the back, and a large 4000mAh battery inside.
