The latest to join the list are the <a href="https://www.oppo.cn/thread-398520399-1">OPPO K9 Pro 5G</a> and <a href="https://www.oppo.com/cn/smartphones/series-reno/reno4-se/">Reno4 SE</a> in China.</p>
<p>ColorOS 12 is based on Android 12 and arrives with a bunch of new features plus improvements. Elements throughout the interface have been tweaked visually, be it icons, the quick settings panel, or system apps. You also get some of those enhanced A12 privacy features such as the new Privacy Dashboard and microphone and camera Indicators.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-451101 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/oppo-k9-pro-5g-coloros-12-china-1024x437.jpg?x10805" alt="oppo k9 pro 5g coloros 12 china" width="696" height="297" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/oppo-k9-pro-5g-coloros-12-china-1024x437.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/oppo-k9-pro-5g-coloros-12-china-300x128.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/oppo-k9-pro-5g-coloros-12-china-768x328.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/oppo-k9-pro-5g-coloros-12-china-696x297.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/oppo-k9-pro-5g-coloros-12-china-1068x456.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/oppo-k9-pro-5g-coloros-12-china-984x420.jpg 984w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/oppo-k9-pro-5g-coloros-12-china.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /></p>
<p>If you&#8217;re an OPPO K9 Pro 5G owner, then just make sure you&#8217;re on official firmware version <span>A.14/A.15</span> or you&#8217;ll probably not be getting the ColorOS 12 update notification. And as for the OPPO Reno4 SE, just make sure it&#8217;s updated to firmware C.20 or C.21. To check your current firmware version, head over to <em>Settings &gt; About phone &gt; Version information &gt; Version number</em>.</p>
<p>As usual, the OTAs are being rolled out in stages, meaning it may take a while for the update to reach your device. If you haven’t yet received a notification yet, then you can try checking manually by heading over to <em>Settings &gt; Software update</em>.</p>
<p>Again, do keep in mind that the aforementioned updates are for the Chinese variants of the two devices and there hasn&#8217;t been an announcement about a global ColorOS 12 rollout for them just yet. Keep an eye out for the update notification as you should be getting it outside of China soon as well.</p>
