OPPO has started pushing the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 stable builds for more smartphones. The latest devices to receive the latest software update are OPPO F19 Pro+ 5G, OPPO Reno6 Z 5G, and OPPO A73 5G. All three of them got access to beta releases in December alongside OPPO A74 5G, which had already bagged the stable update recently.

According to the official announcement posts on OPPO Community, the Android 12 stable update is now live for the following handsets in the mentioned regions.

OPPO F19 Pro+ 5G

• Required Firmware: A.09, A.10
• Firmware Version: C.14
• Region: India

OPPO Reno6 Z 5G

• Required Firmware: A.14
• Firmware Version: C.14
• Region: Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam UAE

OPPO A73 5G

• Required Firmware: C.06
• Firmware Version: F.14
• Region: Saudi Arabia

Users of the aforementioned handsets can head over to Settings > Software Update to check whether their unit has received the update. Since OTA system updates are usually rolled out in batches, the builds might take some to reach every user.

Also, it is worth noting that OPPO has kickstarted the rollout ahead of the schedule like always. These phones are supposed to get the update on January 18 and 20. Hence, we may see a wider availability from these dates.

Yesterday, we reported on OPPO recruiting ColorOS 12 beta testers for OPPO Reno5 Pro and OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G. It appears the company even opened beta registrations for two more phones, namely OPPO F19 Pro+ 5G and OPPO Reno6 Z 5G, at around the same time.

The Android 12-based ColorOS 12 beta program for the above-mentioned four smartphones was supposed to start only today (December 10). However, OPPO kickstarted the initiative ahead of the stipulated schedule.

The registrations opened for the 4G and the 5G variants of Reno5 on December 8. Whereas, the beta program for F19 Pro+ 5G and Reno6 Z 5G kicked off on December 9.

According to the official announcement posts on OPPO Community, any user running the below-mentioned firmware builds in the listed regions can enroll in the Android 12 beta initiative.

For each region and device, OPPO is recruiting only 5,000 testers. Hence, interested users are advised to register as soon as possible.

In order to join the beta program, applicants will have to go through Settings > Software Update > Gear Icon > Apply for Beta Version > Update Beta Version and follow on-screen instructions.

Participants will receive the beta software build via OTA within 3 days from the day of getting selected. Having said that, the stable update rollout may happen as early as next month.

The Oppo Reno6 Z 5G smartphone is scheduled to launch on July 21 in Thailand but ahead of its arrival, a youtube channel has unboxed the smartphone. The unboxing video is from the Vy Vo Xuan channel, and it reveals most of the details of the upcoming smartphone.

Starting with the pricing, the video claims that the phone is priced at $410, and it comes in Black and Silver color options. The smartphone comes in a Blue colored box packaging which includes the handset, a 30W charging brick, a USB Type-C cable, and a pair of earbuds.

Coming to the Reno6 Z 5G, the smartphone has a 6.43-inch AMOLED punch-hole display with a Full-HD+ resolution. The display also doubles up as an in-display fingerprint scanner for added security.

It has a 32MP selfie camera and a triple rear camera system. The device boasts a 64MP primary lens, an 8MP wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset and has up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Additionally, the phone has virtual RAM support of up to 3GB.

The device packs a 4,310mAh battery with support for 30W quick charging technology. It runs on ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box.

Now that the unboxing, along with the pricing and specifications is revealed, the only thing left to learn is the availability and launch for the global markets.
