OPPO is getting ready to debut its Reno 9 smartphone lineup in mainland China. The series will reportedly include three smartphones: the OPPO Reno 9, the OPPO Reno 9 Pro, and the OPPO Reno 9 Pro+ 5G. The top-end model of the series, the Reno 9 Pro+ 5G, has now received Bluetooth SIG certification ahead of its official launch. The Bluetooth SIG certification of a future OPPO smartphone with model number PGW110 implies that the handset is none other than the OPPO Reno 9 Pro+ 5G.

The same smartphone with the model number PGW110 was previously spotted on the Geekbench certification. The Geekbench listing of the device confirms that it will be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset coupled with 16GB of RAM. As for the Bluetooth SIG certification, it only confirms that the device will rely on Bluetooth V5.2 for its wireless connectivity. Apart from this, the website doesn’t confirm anything regarding the upcoming device.

The official launch of the device is not really too far, and almost everything regarding the device has been already leaked online. The device will reportedly flaunt a 6.7-inches OLED display with support for up to 120Hz fast refresh rate and FullHD+ pixel resolution. It has been further reported that it will utilize a curved display. Further, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset, which is based on TSMC’s 4nm fabrication node. It will have up to 16GB of RAM and will boot up on Android 13 right out of the box.

As for the optics, it will have a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera coupled with an 8-megapixels secondary ultrawide and a 2-megapixels tertiary camera. On the front, we may get a 32-megapixel front selfie snapper housed inside the punch hole cutout. The device will pack a 4700mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC fast-wired charging.
