Oppo has launched the Watch S in Europe, following its fall debut. The smartwatch combines a sharp display with a large battery and comprehensive fitness tracking for cross-platform users.

The device centers on a 1.46-inch AMOLED display delivering 464 × 464 pixels at 317ppi. Its standout feature is 3000 nits peak brightness, ensuring outdoor visibility. The stainless steel case measures 8.9mm thick and weighs 35 grams without the band.

Running ColorOS Watch 7.1, the Watch S uses BES2800BP processing with 4GB EMMC storage. Users can customize watch faces across multiple preloaded options.

Fitness capabilities span over 100 workout modes with tailored parameters. Running features include guided training, posture analysis, and lactate threshold tracking. Professional court analytics enhance specific sports modes with detailed performance data.

Health monitoring employs an 8-channel heart rate sensor, a 16-channel blood oxygen sensor, and wrist temperature sensor. The watch generates 60-second health reports consolidating multiple metrics alongside sleep tracking, stress monitoring, and mind-body assessments.

IP68 certification and 5ATM water resistance enable swimming and daily water exposure. Splash touch maintains screen responsiveness when wet.

Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.2, dual phone pairing across platforms, on-wrist messaging, and access card support. Dual-band L1 and L5 positioning improves location accuracy. Additional features allow short video playback control and remote smartphone camera operation.

The 339mAh battery delivers up to 10 days of maximum usage or 7 days of typical use. Compatibility extends to Android 9.0+ and iOS 14.0+ devices.

The Watch S is priced at €259 in markets like Germany, while it is priced at €230 in France and €209 is Spain. It is available in Phantom Black and Nebula Silver on Oppo’s regional online stores and select third-party retailers.

Oppo today launched the new Find X9 series phones in China. Alongside it debuts the Oppo Watch S, a wearable measuring just 8.9mm thick and weighing only 35 grams. It’s a non-WearOS smartwatch, running on ColorOS Watch 7.1 with 4GB of eMMC storage. 

The display is a 1.46-inch AMOLED panel, which can reach up to 3000 nits of peak brightness when using Oppo’s self-developed sports mode. Typical brightness sits at 600 nits, with a 317 PPI density under a durable glass cover.

Smart health tracking, medical-grade certification

The Oppo Watch S is also stuffed with health and wellness features. It includes a 16-channel blood oxygen sensor, an 8-channel heart rate sensor, ECG electrodes, and also a wrist temperature sensor. 

It can deliver a 60-second full-body checkup covering 13 health indicators, offering quick alerts if something looks off. The ECG app is certified as a Class II medical device in China. 

The watch can also monitor vascular health, sleep quality (including snoring and breathing patterns), and even stress levels.

Oppo calls the Watch S the first AI sports coach, capable of analyzing your body’s readiness by looking at factors like HRV during sleep and your last seven days of workouts. It uses that data to suggest exercise plans and gives real-time guidance during runs, including pace and heart rate tracking.

There’s a professional running mode that analyzes running posture, maximum oxygen uptake, and lactate threshold. A separate fat-burning mode helps optimize workouts in the right heart rate zone.

Built for performance and endurance

Inside, the watch is powered by the BES2800BP chip and supports dual-band GPS (L1 + L5) with compatibility for BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, and QZSS. It pairs over Bluetooth 5.2 with both Android (10.0+) and iOS (14.0+) devices.

As for the battery life, Oppo claims up to 10 days of runtime, depending on settings. It can fully charge in under 90 minutes, and a quick 10-minute top-up gives you 24 hours of juice.

It supports Alipay and WeChat Pay, Oppo’s Fluid Cloud service for hailing rides or tracking deliveries, and even an upgraded Xiaobu Assistant (DeepSeek version) with memory features and voice car control. You can also connect it to two phones simultaneously.

Oppo Watch S Price and Avaibility

The Oppo Watch S is available for purchase in China starting today for CNY 1499 (~ $210).  

It comes in Vibrant Green, Rhythmic Silver, and Racing Black finishes, with stainless steel cases and fluororubber or woven straps depending on the model. The watch is also 5ATM and IP68 rated, with military-grade durability.

Oppo is all set to unveil the Oppo Find X9 series of smartphones on Oct. 16 in China. The same event will see the arrival of a few other devices, such as the Oppo Pad 5 tablet and the Oppo Watch S smartwatch. Like the Find X9 series, the Pad 5 and Watch S have also been made available for pre-orders through the Oppo Shop and retailer partners. The official listing has revealed key details about the tablet and smartwatch.

Oppo Pad 5 configurations, color options

The Oppo Pad 5 pre-order listing has revealed that it will be available in multiple variants, such as 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 16GB+512GB. The 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB will also be available in the Soft Light version, meaning it will have display technology that reduces glare and reflection.

The Pad 5 will sell in shades like Lucky Purple, Galaxy, and Deep Space Grey. The brand has not confirmed anything else about the device.

Leaked details that have surfaced in the past have revealed that the Oppo Pad 5 will have a 12.1-inch LCD panel that supports a 3K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will have the Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset and a massive 10,300mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

The Pad 5 will run on ColorOS 16-based Android 16. While there is no information about its thickness, it is said to weigh around 579 grams. It is speculated that the OnePlus Pad 2 heading to the Chinese market in the coming days will be a rebranded version of the Oppo Pad 5. However, it is expected to arrive in blue and grey shades.

Oppo Watch S color options revealed

The Watch S will be the slimmest smartwatch ever from Oppo. It is said to weigh around 38 grams and measure around 8.x mm. It is said to be powered by dual-core architecture (Snapdragon W5 + BES2800) for optimised power consumption and stable data recording. It is likely to draw power from a 200mAh battery and have eSIM support.
