Yesterday, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 5T in China. While the launch comes 2 weeks after its release in New York, fans in China got a compensation.

The OnePlus 5T will not only be available in Midnight Black but will also come in a new Lava Red variant which will be exclusive to China. The Lava Red OnePlus 5T will however be limited to the 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM version.

Oppomart has appeared listing iPhone 8 cases amidst the growing coverage of rumors of what may be Apple’s next iPhone lineup.

The online retailer has listed three initial items, all which appear to be rugged cases for the new iPhone.

All the cases coincide with the current design features, leaked from Foxconn’s factories, that the ‘iPhone 8’ is supposedly going have; this includes the notable removal of the dedicated home button and finger print sensor at the front the device with an ‘all-display’ screen (with the case covering the bezels of the phone), effectively removing the prominent top and bottom bezels the iPhone has been known to have.

The cases also show the change in the dual-camera orientation on the rear of the device, coincided with other rumored changes with the iPhone.

From the day of publication, OppoMart has listed the cases as currently ‘out-of-stock’.

Today, other Chinese retailers like Geekbuying and GearBest have listed the OnePlus 5 with its full specifications and pricing.

The OnePlus 5 listing on Geekbuying states that it has a 5.5-inch screen that supports quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The 64-bit Snapdragon 835 chipset that has a 2.35 GHz octa-core processor and Adreno 540 powers the OnePlus 5. The SoC is coupled with a whopping 8 GB of RAM and the native storage of the phone is 64 GB. It comes with support for microSD storage.

The listing further claims that it has a dual rear camera of 23-megapixel and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a front-mounted fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port. It is running on Android 7.1 Nougat OS and is packed with a 4,000mAh battery.

As far as pricing is concerned, the regular price of OnePlus 5 is mentioned as $621.99. The pre-order price of the phone is $449, but its shipping date is not mentioned. The retailer has listed only the black color variant of OnePlus 5.

GearBest too has listed the Global Version of OnePlus 5 with Arrival Notice button. The retailer has mentioned the price of the phone as $689. The OnePlus 5 specifications on GearBest is almost same as that on Geekbuying. However, GearBest has also mentioned the dimensions of the phone as 6.01 x 2.94 x 0.28 inches and its weight as 156 grams.

The Geekbuying and GearBest listing of OnePlus 5 cannot be completely trusted as some of the specs do not match with the rumored specs of OnePlus 5. Except for OnePlus X, no other OnePlus smartphone have featured a microSD card slot. Rumors have also claimed that the OnePlus 5 would continue to sport a full HD screen, but these retailers have mentioned that it features a quad HD display.

The listing of OnePlus 5 on aforementioned retailer sites cannot be trusted since OnePlus is yet to officially unveil the OnePlus 5. The company is expected to launch the OnePlus 5 in June or July this year.

Even though the photo present on OnePlus 5 listing on OppoMart shows the presence of a vertically designed dual rear camera, new information suggest that the phone would be graced with a horizontally arranged dual rear camera.

The OnePlus 5 is listed with a price tag of $449 on OppoMart. Although the phone is listed as out of stock, the listing states that the phone will arrive at the “beginning of June, 2017.”

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2, according to OPPOMART, will come with a 5.7-inch 2K curved display with Snapdragon 821 on board and 4GB / 6GB RAM options. The listing further adds that the phone will support 37 bands from all over the world, which is something we reported earlier and will feature dual 16MP Sony cameras at the back and 16MP sensor up front. Also, the website reveals that the phone will be priced at $499, but don’t get too excited, as nothing is official yet.

Meizu announced the brand new Meizu M3 Note mid-range smartphone yesterday. The phone was everything we expected it to be and even more. One of the best features of the device was its pricing, as it starts at an amazing 799 Yuan ($125) in China. While you won’t be able to get hold of the phone at this price internationally, OPPOMART has listed the phone for pre-order at $169. Considering the specs on board, this isn’t too bad.

So, you get the 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM version of the M3 Note for $169, while for the 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM version, you will have to shell out $50 more. There are three colors available for both the variants, namely Gray, Gold and Silver. The phone features a metal body, abandoning the polycarbonate material used in earlier generations.

As for the specs, the Meizu M3 Note comes with the Mediatek Helio P10 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. Like mentioned above, there will be two variants, 2GB/ 3GB RAM and 16GB / 32GB storage. About a week back, we had reported that Samsung Galaxy S6 cases had made it to the Chinese retailer OPPOMART. Now, it looks like HTC One M9 cases too have been listed on the site just a day before the official launch.

There are around 9 different cases for the M9 listed online. Of course, since the device has not been officially announced all of those are still out of stock. But after tomorrow’s announcement, we expect more retailers to stock up such cases for the flagship device.

There are a number of cases as well as a tempered glass screen protector on the website. The cases range from simple, transparent TPU ones to rugged protective cases. There’s even a leather flip case listed.

Interestingly, we have not yet found any cases for its larger variant, the HTC One M9 Plus which is expected to be 5.5-inches. However, we may see cases for the device soon as the release date nears.

There were a few pictures of the HTC One M9 on OPPOMART and it looks a lot like the recently leaked ones. As for the tech specs, the phone is said to come with the latest Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB storage options. The rear camera will be replaced by a traditional 20MP one and the 4MP ultrapixel cam will most likely end up as the front shooter for the device. There will be a 5-inch display up front with a resolution of 1920 x 1080p. Finally, the phone is expected to run on Android 5.0 KitKat with Sense 7 UI and will probably come with a 2840 mAh battery.

Of course, these are the rumored specs of the device but we don’t have to wait too long for official news. HTC has scheduled an event for tomorrow morning at MWC, Barcelona where it will announce the M9 and the M9 Plus. The Huawei Honor 6 is out in July and is close in spec to the OnePlus One. These two flagship phones are about to go head to head and it will be interesting to see how the Huawei fares against the Flagship Killer. The smartphones themselves are pretty closely matched, it is most likely the design of the devices and the ease of purchase that could win the competition for either company. Huawei is a giant in the field and OnePlus is trying to spoil the party, but at the moment it is busy enough trying not to spoil its own.

There aren’t many differences in spec between the phones. The Huawei has an octa-core processor, HiSilicon Kirin 920 chipset, whereas the OnePlus One has a quad-core, Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801, giving the Huawei the edge as regards CPU power. The internal memory differs slightly too, although both have 3GB RAM the two versions of the Honor 6 available have 16 or 32 GB whereas the OnePlus is available in 16 or 64 GB. Notably however, the Huawei is the only one that supports MicroSD so that the memory can be expanded. Another difference is the 4G bandwidth frequency, with the OnePlus One having the broadest coverage, important for those who use their phones regularly outside of wi-fi coverage. The phones share camera specifications, both having a 13MP rear camera and a 5 MP front shooter. The display is almost identical, with both devices having IPS LCD screens at 1080 x 1920, although the screen is smaller on the Honor 6 so the pixel ratio is 445 compared with the OnePlus One’s 401, and the OnePlus is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass whereas the Honor 6 is not. The battery power is identical also, with both handsets having a 3100mAh battery.

For many, the main difference is all about the style of the smartphones. The Honor 6 is smaller and reasonably good-looking but it is the OnePlus that is the superstar here. It is bigger and better-built and very well designed, and most importantly it is the one all the hype has been about. Public opinion has been almost unanimous as to the performance and design of the OnePlus, and while people have been very interested to see the Honor 6, it is certainly considered unfavourably in terms of looks and design.

The practicality is another huge difference. At the moment, OnePlus can’t actually get you a OnePlus One (although it is available at Oppomart), and where more people may well consider this to be the best option for them, will the patience wear thin while waiting? It is Huawei’s size as a company here that gives it the capability to meet demand even if the company being more mainstream and already established costs them some cool credentials. The OnePlus One is struggling because it has been made by a startup, and the production problems have come about because of the need for caution when establishing a new product in such a hugely competitive area. OnePlus are certainly guilty of massively underestimating demand and this may prove crucial to their success here, if they take too much longer to get the phone to the people who want to buy it they will lose the faith of their loyal supporters and sales are bound to suffer as a result.

The disappointment associated with the release of the OnePlus One is rising. The invite only buying system has meant a lot of people are just going without while they wait for an invitation to purchase a product that just isn’t anywhere. This would be a tragedy if it were true, but the OnePlus One is for sale, it’s available to everyone at Oppomart. The price is certainly a little higher and some modifications need to be made, but the added value of having the phone immediately and not having to wait until the phone is old before it can be purchased is certainly worth a few more dollars. Increasing numbers of people are getting out of the invitation race and just getting it from a third party, and here’s why.

The warranty issue isn’t a problem, admittedly with some third party dealers it certainly is a problem, but with Oppomart there is a 2 year warranty on all phones, so although you may not have recourse with the manufacturer should there be any problems, you can just deal with Oppomart instead.

The OnePlus One available from Oppomart requires CyanogenMod 11S to be installed. This is quite an off-putting idea to those unfamiliar with the process but the installation is easy and quick and there are reams of webpages to answer any concerns and talk you through the process. There really is excellent free technical support available online, by some very knowledgeable and helpful people.

As regards the bandwidth problem, this applies to all imported smartphones; check the phone is operable in your area first. If it is, there isn’t a problem so you needn’t be put off. All of Europe and Asia and even great swathes of the US have network coverage for the OnePlus One so the vast majority of those considering the phone have nothing to fear here.

Really then, the only thing coming between most people and the truly great smartphone they desire is a little bit more money and effort. Plus they throw in a free cover. Look into it, you could have a OnePlus One tomorrow.

If you really like this phone, there is a good news for Oneplus big fun. The Oneplus one phone is available on Oppomart.com, a China online shop which selling OPPO phones and accessories.
