Back in December, the OnePlus 10T received the stable OxygenOS 13 update based on Android 13. Since then, the device has received regular patches and updates making the performance smooth and optimal. The brand has now released another update for the device that brings multiple new features to the OnePlus 10T.

OnePlus will soon be launching the Nord N30 model in the US market soon. This upcoming device has even been spotted on various certification website already and the latest sighting reveals info related to its software.

Based on what we know so far, this smartphone is expected to be a rebranded version of the Nord CE 3 Lite for the western market. And now, the Nord N30 5G 2023 edition has surfaced on the Canadian REL certification website carrying the model number CPH2513. Looking at the online database, we can see that the will run on OxygenOS 13.1 out of the box. For those unaware, OxygenOS 13.1 is a proprietary custom skin from the Chinese smartphone maker and is based on the Android 13 OS platform.

Unfortunately, this is all the information revealed via this database. However, since it is believed to be the previously released Nord CE 3 Lite, we have some ideas regarding its internal specifications. The device will likely sport a tall 6.72 inch IPS LCD panel that offers Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC that will likely be paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.

The Nord N30 will likely be powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 67W fast charging. For optics, there is a 108 megapixel triple camera setup on the rear and a 16 megapixel selfie shooter on the front. Where OnePlus was once a benchmark for the fastest Android rollouts, its reputation has been slightly hurt by its recent updates. When the company released the OxygenOS 13 firmware upgrade based on Android 13, some OnePlus 9 devices refused to boot after the update. Hence, OnePlus had to pause the rollout of the update. As a part of reparations, OnePlus has now pulled the OxygenOS 13 upgrade that was bricking OnePlus 9 smartphones. 

The latest version of OxygenOS 13 caused some trouble for OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro users when it was rolled out in December 2022. The firmware patches, labeled LE2111_11.F.19 for the 9 and LE2121_11.F.19 for the 9 Pro, prevented some phones from booting properly. A member of the OnePlus software team on the community forum had advised users not to install these updates.

OnePlus attributes the delayed announcement of the issue to last week’s Chinese New Year celebrations. The company has halted the rollout to minimize the damage, and users who are affected can reach out to a service center or use the OnePlus mail order repair service. The company promises to reverse the changes without any data loss.

The F.19 update included the January 2023 security patch, stability improvements in system apps, and bug fixes for Quick Glance, automatic brightness, and cellular connectivity. While this software issue is a concern for some OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro owners, the company is gearing up for its highly anticipated OnePlus 11 launch on February 7. The event will also reveal a range of new products, including the 11R, the long-awaited OnePlus Pad tablet, a mechanical keyboard with Keychron, and the Buds Pro 2. The OnePlus Nord 2T OxygenOS 13 Open Beta program has been revealed by OnePlus. The official announcement came via a post on the OnePlus Community forums. It is important to note that only Indian customers are eligible for the OnePlus Nord 2T OxygenOS 13 Open Beta program.

Typically, the company makes OxygenOS Open Beta firmware available for users to manually flash onto their devices. This time, though, the company has not made the firmware available; instead, consumers must apply for the program. If a user’s application is accepted, OxygenOS 13 Open Beta will be downloaded to their device automatically.

Indian owners of the OnePlus Nord 2T who have updated to the CPH2401 11 A.17 firmware are welcome to sign up for the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta program. It has been reported that the OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 10R are now getting a stable build of the OxygenOS 13, based on Android 13. The update is currently rolling out in India and China. Users have reported that the OnePlus 9R and 10R are receiving the latest Android 13 update with firmware versions LE2101_11_F.16 and CPH2423_11_C.14. The update reportedly comes with a size of 4GB and brings new features and improvements. The software is currently being rolled out in China and India, but we can expect it to reach other regions soon.

Users should be getting an OTA notification for the update. If you have not received it already, you can head to Settings > System > System Updates to manually check whether the update is available for your device.

OnePlus recently shared its Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 beta rollout roadmap. The most recent devices that have got an open beta build are the OnePlus 8, 8 Pro, 8T, and 9RT. Now, the brand has begun rolling out the OxygenOS 13 open beta update for the OnePlus 10T, which indicates that it will soon be getting the stable Android 13 update.

The update includes the new aquamorphic design, new personalization features, and privacy and security-related changes. Users of the OnePlus 10T in India who have firmware versions A.08 or A.10 installed on their devices may flash OxygenOS 13 Open Beta on them. The update will need to be manually downloaded and moved to the phone’s internal storage (download link). Before installing the update on their device, the company urges customers to make sure that their battery is at least 30% charged and that they have at least 5.5GB of free storage.

Readers should be aware that the installation process involves manual flashing, therefore developer mode must be activated before to beginning. To activate the developer mode, navigate to Settings > About device > Version > Developer mode. Make seven clicks on the Build number, then type the password.

Following the download of the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta firmware and the activation of developer options, OnePlus 10T users can navigate to Settings > About device > Up to date > Click the top right button > Local install > Select the rollback package > Extract > Upgrade to install OxygenOS 13 Open Beta on their device.

Beta builds can be unstable and have some bugs in them, therefore we advise our users to not try them out on their daily driver smartphone. It is also advisable to make a backup of your data as rolling back from the OxygenOS 13 beta build to OxygenOS 12 could wipe your data.

A couple of months ago, OnePlus commenced the Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 testing for the OnePlus 9RT via the closed beta program. This program had a limited number of participants who could opt-in to try out the new software.

Now, the company has finally launched the open beta program for the device which will any willing owner of the OnePlus 9RT to try out Android 13 on their devices. The update is currently seeding in India and will soon be made available for other regions.

Make sure your 9RT is running the most recent OxygenOS 12 version (C.07) before applying the update if you want to give it a try. It should also have 5.5GB of free storage and a battery capacity of at least 30%. Beta builds are generally not as reliable as the official builds and frequently have bugs that degrade the user experience, so it is advised to avoid using them on primary devices.

Some of the known bugs on the OnePlus 9RT include the Eye Comfort Mode not activating in specific scenarios, and after switching the system dynamic wallpaper, the time on the lock screen isn’t displayed properly. You can check out the detailed changelog of the beta build below.

OnePlus has finally announced the Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 open beta program for the OnePlus 10R. The company has already pushed out the OxygenOS 13 open beta builds for devices like the OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9.

According to the official community post, users need to be on Oxygen OS 12 version A.07/A.08 for OnePlus 10R; A.06/A.07/A.08 for OnePlus 10R Endurance Edition.

If you are interested in participating in the open beta, the procedure is quite simple. Users must download the Open Beta firmware for their device and save it to their phone’s storage. Following that, they must enable developer mode by going to Settings -> About device -> Version -> Click Build number 7 times.

After enabling developer mode, users can navigate to Settings -> About device -> Up to date -> Click the top right button -> Local install -> Select the appropriate installation package -> Extract -> Upgrade to update their device to Android 13.

The OnePlus 10 Pro has finally started receiving the Android 13 OS based OxygenOS 13 update in China. The company’s flagship smartphone had already received the update in other regions, and around the same time, the update was also made available in the brand’s home market as well.

For those unaware, the Chinese smartphone maker had started rolling out the OxygenOS 13 upgrade for its users outside of China a couple of days ago. Although, this update was only exclusive to all the users that had participated in the beta program for the major update. Now, the official version of the OxygenOS 13 stable build has made its way to China. So for those looking forward for the update, make sure to backup any important personal data before making the update.

In an official thread, the company also stated that public beta build users do not need to register for the official version and can directly upgrade to the official version through system push notification. So those interested, you have to make sure that your OnePlus 10 Pro is already update to the basic version A.18. Following this, click on Settings > About This Machine > Version Information (above the phone name) > Settings in the upper right corner > Early adopters application > ColorOS 13.0 official version > Check.

OnePlus has just started rolling out the stable build of OxygenOS 13, which is based on Android 13, for its flagship OnePlus 10 Pro. The software had been in beta for sometime now, and has finally been released.

The Chinese smartphone maker shared an announcement on its Community platform, where it stated that the stable build for OxygenOS 13 is being rolled out. Although, the update is only exclusive to the OnePlus 10 Pro model, which is the brand’s flagship smartphone. Notably, the company also added that the update will be rolled out in a staggered manner and the first ones to receive the update will be those users who participated in the Open Beta test versions of OxygenOS 13.

In other words, a broader roll out will start sometime soon after. A gradual release also offers the company time to see if there are any critical flaws or issues with the new major software upgrade. Alongside the stable release, it has also announced that it will rolling out the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta for the OnePlus 9 and the 9 Pro models as well. At the OnePlus 10T launch event last week, OxygenOS 13 was formally launched. The OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro beta testing of the Android 13-based software began not long after. The company has now announced that it is looking for OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 9R OxygenOS 13 Closed Beta testers.

OnePlus announced through a community post that OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 9R eager to check out the upcoming Android 12 based OxygenOS 13 can now apply to be a part of the beta testing team. As usual with beta testing, the company expects the testers provide regular feedback and suggestions to improve the software experience.

The company says that it will recruit 200 people who meet the requirements with a OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 9R India device to join this Closed Beta Program.

Please keep in mind that the closed beta is not the OxygenOS 13 stable version and that it may have bugs and security risks that could impair the device’s functionality.
