OnePlus has initiated the rollout of significant updates for two of its smartphones in India, improving user experience with a host of new features, improvements, and security patches. The devices in question are the OnePlus Nord 3 5G and Nord CE 2 Lite 5G.

The OxygenOS 14.0.0.500 update is now available for the OnePlus Nord 3 5G, catering specifically to Indian users and including the February 2024 Android security patch. This update brings incremental yet crucial improvements to the device’s firmware. Notable features include the ability to use the fingerprint scanner without waking the screen, a new option for displaying the screen recording indicator, improved weather details viewing, and a customizable date view in settings.

It also improves the camera’s stability and resolves a specific problem with video recording in time-lapse mode when a watermark is enabled.

Following the OnePlus Nord 3, OnePlus 11, and some other devices, OnePlus is bringing the stable OxygenOS 14 for the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G smartphone to India. It took around a month for the device to receive the stable build after getting the Open Beta Build last month. With a slight delay, the update, initially available to Close Beta and Open Beta participants, is set for a broader release in the coming days. Surprisingly, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite has been to the party a bit early, as it received a stable update a few days ago.

The new update with firmware CPH2569_14.0.0.100 (EX01) brings all the Android 14 features and some extra OxygenOS 14-based features like Aquamorphic design and much more. The update aims to improve the device’s performance and cross-device connectivity and even enhance security and privacy.

The users must ensure that the device is charged at upto 30% and has 5GB of storage left on the smartphone. It may take some time to reach normal users, but eventually it will be made available to beta users first.

OnePlus is gradually bringing the latest iteration of OxygenOS 14 to its smartphones. Until now, several smartphones have received the stable OxygenOS 14 update, including the OnePlus 11 Series, OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus 10R, OnePlus Nord 3, and OnePlus Pad.
