<p>In a recent performance test conducted by &#8220;In Depth Tech Reviews,&#8221; the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s23-ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy S23 Ultra</a> has emerged as the clear winner, outperforming its competitors, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-14-pro-max/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iPhone 14 Pro Max</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-7-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pixel 7 Pro</a>. The test involved running a 30-minute extreme performance test to evaluate the speed, battery life, and thermal performance of each device. The tasks included running a meeting on Microsoft Teams, running a 4K YouTube video in P2P mode, running Google Maps with Navigation, and playing Asphalt 9 simultaneously.</p>

<p>The Galaxy S23 Ultra completed the performance test without any issues, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max and Pixel 7 Pro failed at the 19-minute and 14:24-minute mark, respectively. The Pixel 7 Pro dropped the network two times and gave a thermal warning, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max had extreme lagging issues.</p>

<p>iPhone 14 Pro was the first to drop the brightness at 4:28 minutes while the Pixel 7 Pro dropped the brightness at 5:24 minutes. Galaxy S23 Ultra is a clear winner here which dropped the brightness at 11:05 minutes.</p>

<p>The Galaxy S23 Ultra had the best temperature reading of 47.4 degrees Celsius, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max had a temperature reading of 49.5 degrees Celsius. The Galaxy S23 Ultra also had the highest battery usage, using 10% of its battery during the test, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max used only 7% of its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/battery/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">battery</a>.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<iframe loading="lazy" title="iPhone 14 Pro Max vs S23 Ultra vs Pixel 7 Pro - Speed, Battery &amp; Thermal Tests" width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dJAeR39B96A?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe>
</div></figure>

<p>These results demonstrate the Galaxy S23 Ultra&#8217;s superior performance capabilities and its ability to handle heavy usage without any issues. The device was able to maintain its performance levels and keep the temperature low compared to other devices tested.</p>

<p>On the other hand, the iPhone 14 Pro Max and Pixel 7 Pro struggled to maintain their <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/performance/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">performance</a>, with the higher temperature reading of the iPhone 14 Pro Max suggesting potential throttling under heavy usage. The Pixel 7 Pro&#8217;s performance was also below par, failing the test within 15 minutes. Although the Pixel 7 Pro tried to recover a bit later after cooling down.</p>

<p>Overall, consumers who prioritize high-performance <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/smartphones/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">devices</a> that can handle heavy usage should consider the Galaxy S23 Ultra over its competitors. Its performance, low temperature, and moderate battery usage make it an ideal choice for power users. The Galaxy S23 Ultra sets a new standard for smartphone performance, showcasing its superiority in the highly competitive smartphone market.</p>

<p>The smartphone sports Helio P90 SpC coupled with 4GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. It even fares well against the competition if we compare the AnTuTu Benchmark scores. The devices achieved overall 212653 points with the CPU score of 82227 points and GPU with 41367 points. It is mainly designed for office work as well as students, it comes with a 12.3&#8243; IPS display and 3:2 screen ratio as well as the Intel Core M3-8100Y CPU that allows a 50% performance boost over the previous UBook. But how powerful is it when benchmarked? Let&#8217;s see in the benchmark test we conducted recently.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h4><strong>CPU-Z</strong></h4>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-1-1.png?x96852"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-283049" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-1-1.png?x96852" alt="Chuwi UBook Pro" width="1267" height="713" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-1-1.png 1267w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-1-1-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-1-1-768x432.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-1-1-1024x576.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-1-1-696x392.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-1-1-1068x601.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-1-1-746x420.png 746w" sizes="(max-width: 1267px) 100vw, 1267px" /></a></p>
<p>We used the CPU-Z application to see the specs of CPU and do a benchmark test. As you can see, it comes with the already mentioned Intel m3 8100Y. The processor is made using the 14nm manufacturing process and it&#8217;s a dual core/4-thread CPU. It&#8217;s frequency can go up to 3.4GHz and it achieved a single-core score of 283.5 and a multi-core score of 800.9.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h4><strong>GeekBench 4</strong></h4>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-2-1.png?x96852"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-283050" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-2-1.png?x96852" alt="Chuwi UBook Pro" width="902" height="579" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-2-1.png 902w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-2-1-300x193.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-2-1-768x493.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-2-1-696x447.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-2-1-654x420.png 654w" sizes="(max-width: 902px) 100vw, 902px" /></a></p>
<p>To continue, we ran the GeekBench 4 test where the UBook Pro achieved a single-core score of 3731 and a multi-core score of 6115, consistent with the performance we already shaw in the CPU-Z test.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h4><strong>Cinebench R15</strong></h4>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-3-1.png?x96852"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-283051" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-3-1.png?x96852" alt="Chuwi UBook Pro" width="961" height="611" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-3-1.png 961w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-3-1-300x191.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-3-1-768x488.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-3-1-696x443.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-3-1-661x420.png 661w" sizes="(max-width: 961px) 100vw, 961px" /></a></p>
<p>After the first two tests, it was time to test the GPU too. For that reason, Cinebench R15 was chosen as it is a comprehensive CPU and GPU performance testing software. It tests CPU and graphics card performance by rendering high-precision images and 3D graphics based on the Cinem4D engine. In this test, the UHD Graphics 615 that is the embedded GPU scored 96cb and 27.18fps. That&#8217;s not bad but there&#8217;s no comparison between an embedded GPU and a dedicated one.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h4><strong>AS SSD Benchmark</strong></h4>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-4.png?x96852"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-283052" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-4.png?x96852" alt="Chuwi UBook Pro" width="966" height="644" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-4.png 966w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-4-300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-4-768x512.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-4-696x464.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-4-630x420.png 630w" sizes="(max-width: 966px) 100vw, 966px" /></a></p>
<p>Then, we tested the SSD speed in order to define how it compares against other solutions in laptops. The UBook Pro achieved a continuous read and write speed of 480.61MB/s and 372.74MB/s respectively which might be more than five times the speed of the traditional HDD but it falls a bit short when compared to other commercial solutions. Definitely, you are not going to experience any slow-downs attributed to the SSD so you shouldn&#8217;t be worried about not getting the top speeds out there.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>Besides the test through benchmarks, the overall user experience was excellent during the time we got our hands on it. It can easily deal with daily office, learning and entertainment need and if you are desperate to use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, etc, it will do the job but much slower than media editing professional laptops. What&#8217;s more, you can even enjoy some gaming like Tomb Raider and Metro with decent performance and graphics quality but gaming isn&#8217;t what this device was made for.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-1-1.jpeg?x96852"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-283048" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-1-1.jpeg?x96852" alt="Chuwi UBook Pro" width="1016" height="457" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-1-1.jpeg 1016w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-1-1-300x135.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-1-1-768x345.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-1-1-696x313.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Chuwi-UBook-Pro-1-1-934x420.jpeg 934w" sizes="(max-width: 1016px) 100vw, 1016px" /></a></p>
<p>To conclude, combining the benchmark results with the actual user experience we can say that the Chuwi UBook Pro is definitely a good choice at its price range since it manages to balance between performance and pricing perfectly. Also, the fact that it is a 2in1 device is a huge advantage over traditional laptops. UBook Pro is currently in the process of crowdfunding on indiegogo. But now that hardware has surpassed software&#8217;s capabilities, big battery phones are pretty capable of doing anything you want. The Ulefone Power 6 is a perfect example of this as, besides the big battery, it comes with pretty solid features as well. This is showcased in the following video that shows the performance of Power 6. Let&#8217;s have a closer look.</p>
<p><iframe loading="lazy" width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dWC1yeZQTYc?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>As you can see, the Power 6 scored 82,117 on AnTuTu Benchmark while the single core score on Geekbench 4 is 906 points and the multi-core score is 3,725 points. That&#8217;s about the same as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632. This performance is the result of using Helio P35 octa-core SoC clocked at up to 2.3GHz.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Ulefone-Power-6-Blue.jpg?x96852"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-259672" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Ulefone-Power-6-Blue.jpg?x96852" alt="Ulefone Power 6" width="800" height="503" /></a></p>
<p>Besides the benchmarks, the user tested real-world performance using Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, and played PUBG and Arena of Valor. Thanks to the snappy Helio P35 apps load faster and the device delivers a smooth gaming experience without stutters. Helio P35 uses ARM&#8217;s A53 codes and is manufactured using the 12nm FinFET process from TSMC and that helps with good performance and low power consumption.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Ulefone-Power-6-5.jpg?x96852"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-258468" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Ulefone-Power-6-5.jpg?x96852" alt="Ulefone Power 6" width="800" height="533" /></a></p>
<p>Besides the excellent battery life, the device also comes with a large 6.3″ waterdrop display as well as 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is a dual rear camera with 16MP/2MP sensors and a front 16MP one that supports Face unlock combined with Fingerprint unlock for ultimate protection. Lastly, there is GPS/Glonass/Beidou/Galileo navigation system, global network support, NFC, and Android 9 Pie.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Ulefone-Power-6-3.jpg?x96852"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-258466" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Ulefone-Power-6-3.jpg?x96852" alt="Ulefone Power 6" width="800" height="533" /></a></p>
<p>To sum up, if you are looking for an affordable and practical smartphone with a large battery and balanced configuration, Power 6 should definitely be among your choices. It is currently on promotion right now <a href="https://www.banggood.com/custlink/mm3DV4ymLj"><strong>on Banggood</strong></a> and you can get it for just $159.99 with the offer expiring on July 7th. Apart from that, the phone has already arrived at distributors and deliveries should begin soon.</p>
