<p>If you’re making TikToks in 2025, your phone isn’t just a phone. It’s your camera rig, editing suite, sound booth, and live broadcast studio all in one. Raw specs alone are no longer enough. You need cameras that don’t blow out highlights or lose detail in low light, software that understands creative workflows, and connectivity that stays reliable during uploads. And ideally, it all fits in your pocket.</p>

<p>Here’s a breakdown of the best smartphones for TikTok creators in 2025 based on what actually matters for shooting, editing, and posting content on the go.</p>

<h3><strong>iPhone 17 Pro / Pro Max</strong></h3>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/apple/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Apple</a>’s new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-17-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iPhone 17 Pro</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-17-pro-max/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pro Max</a> are built for serious content creators. Both models feature a triple 48MP camera system, including a next-generation telephoto lens with 8x optical zoom at 200mm. This setup works well for creative portrait videos and stylized b-roll. The 18MP front camera now uses a square sensor, which helps capture wide, cinematic-looking vlogs and selfies.</p>

<p>The A19 Pro chip, combined with Apple’s 16-core Neural Engine, processes 4K 120fps Dolby Vision video without breaking a sweat. High-resolution footage can be edited directly in apps like iMovie or CapCut without slowing the system down.</p>

<p>For vloggers, Dual Capture allows simultaneous front and rear camera recording. This is useful for reaction videos, travel updates, and storytelling content. With vapor chamber cooling and up to 2TB of storage, the iPhone 17 Pro models deliver studio-level performance in a phone.</p>

<p>The new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pixel 10 Pro</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10-pro-xl/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pro XL</a> are ideal for creators who want software to handle much of the workload. The Tensor G5 chip may not be the fastest in benchmark tests, but it focuses heavily on camera performance. Features like Magic Cue, Auto Best Take, and Camera Coach help creators optimize scenes in real time.</p>

<p>The 48MP Pro Res Zoom camera supports up to 100x digital zoom with strong stabilization and clear detail. The front camera now shoots at 4K 60fps. Features like cinematic blur and HDR10+ add a polished look to everyday clips.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/google/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Google</a> has also introduced Pixelsnap, a magnetic accessory system that supports 25W Qi2 wireless charging and works with grips, gimbals, and other tools. It is a creator-friendly ecosystem with support for fast shooting and seamless setup.</p>

<p>The Pixel 10 series has only been on the market for a couple of weeks, but some early buyers quickly ran into an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/09/05/pixel-10-pro-users-hit-by-display-issues-within-days-of-launch/">unexpected issue</a>: strange colored stripes appearing on their displays. Google has now pushed out a software update that it says addresses the problem, though questions remain about how widespread the fix really is.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="696" height="928" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/pixel-10-can-someone-explain-second-day-of-usage-brand-new-v0-yqv6eu7fifmf1-1-696x928-1.webp?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-706426" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/pixel-10-can-someone-explain-second-day-of-usage-brand-new-v0-yqv6eu7fifmf1-1-696x928-1.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/pixel-10-can-someone-explain-second-day-of-usage-brand-new-v0-yqv6eu7fifmf1-1-696x928-1-225x300.webp 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/pixel-10-can-someone-explain-second-day-of-usage-brand-new-v0-yqv6eu7fifmf1-1-696x928-1-315x420.webp 315w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /></figure></div>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10/">Pixel 10</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10-pro/">Pixel 10 Pro</a>, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10-pro-xl/">Pixel 10 Pro XL</a> went on sale on August 28. Not long after, reports surfaced of screens briefly showing red, green, or white stripes. The glitches looked like hardware damage at first glance, but the fact that they often disappeared on their own suggested a software-related bug instead.</p>

<p>Google’s September patch (build BD3A.250721.001.B7) began rolling out on September 3 and is said to resolve the issue. Interestingly, the official changelog doesn’t directly mention the line problem, instead referring only to a fix for black screens when loading webpages in Chrome. In a statement shared with Android Authority, Google confirmed that a “small number” of Pixel 10 units were affected and said further fixes are on the way. Users who still experience glitches are being encouraged to contact Google support or their retailer.</p>

<p>Google’s quick turnaround shows it’s paying attention to early complaints, but the omission from the changelog and the lack of a clear guarantee may frustrate some owners. While the latest patch appears to ease the issue for many, it might not be the final fix. For now, Pixel 10 buyers will have to wait and see if Google can fully iron out the problem.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/google/">Google</a> finally packs its Pixel devices with a TSMC-made chip, the Tensor G5, and the power efficiency improvements are expected to be one of the biggest jumps in the Pixel lineup. YouTube creator Lover Of Tech put the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10-pro/">Pixel 10 Pro</a> through an extreme battery drain test alongside two rivals—the iPhone 16 Pro and the Galaxy S25—to find out just that.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="671" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-005135-1024x671.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-705679" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-005135-1024x671.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-005135-300x197.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-005135-768x503.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-005135-696x456.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-005135-1068x700.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-005135-641x420.png 641w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-005135-741x486.png 741w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-005135.png 1435w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p></p>

<p>For starters, all three phones pack similarly sized displays calibrated at 200 nits with auto brightness turned off. The Pixel’s resolution was set to 1080p to keep things fair. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s25/">Galaxy S25</a> runs on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/08/23/tensor-g5-vs-snapdragon-8-elite-flagship-showdown/">Snapdragon 8 Elite</a>, the iPhone 16 Pro on Apple’s A18 Pro, and the Pixel 10 Pro on the Tensor G5—all fabricated on TSMC’s 3nm process. The big difference here lies in the batteries:</p>

<p>Galaxy S25: 4000 mAh</p>

<p>Pixel 10 Pro: 4870 mAh</p>

<p>iPhone 16 Pro: 3582 mAh</p>

<p>Of course, the total runtime is what matters, and this test gives a good sense of how much this year’s Pixel has improved in terms of endurance.</p>

<p>Starting off with one hour of 4K 60fps recording, the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Galaxy S25 surprisingly showed the biggest percentage drop and the highest temperature rise. It lost 22% while both the Pixel and the iPhone lost only 15%. The Galaxy also heated up to 44.9°C, compared to 41.7°C on the Pixel—exactly the improvement many creators had hoped Google would deliver. The iPhone stayed a little cooler still at 40.8°C, thanks to Apple’s efficient chip and tight hardware-software integration.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-004100-1024x576.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-705680" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-004100-1024x576.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-004100-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-004100-768x432.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-004100-1536x864.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-004100-696x392.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-004100-1068x601.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-004100-747x420.png 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Screenshot-2025-09-08-004100.png 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Although the Pixel performed worse than the others in temperature control during the social media test, it pulled ahead on YouTube playback and eventually took first place overall—defeating a Pro iPhone, which is no small achievement for a Pixel. That said, using the Galaxy S25 Plus instead of the base S25 (4900 mAh vs. 4000 mAh) would likely have swapped the top two spots.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<iframe loading="lazy" title="Pixel 10 Pro vs iPhone 16 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy S25 Battery Drain Test" width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/h4Dzc4I5nFM?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe>
</div></figure>

<p>Still, Pixels have always been designed to be among the smartest smartphones rather than the outright best performers—and with the Pixel 10 series, it finally looks like you won’t have to worry about a dead battery or an overheating warning.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/pixel-10-pro-xl-replacement-unit-with-physical-sim-slot-1-1.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-705086" width="785" height="516" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/pixel-10-pro-xl-replacement-unit-with-physical-sim-slot-1-1.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/pixel-10-pro-xl-replacement-unit-with-physical-sim-slot-1-1-300x197.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/pixel-10-pro-xl-replacement-unit-with-physical-sim-slot-1-1-768x505.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/pixel-10-pro-xl-replacement-unit-with-physical-sim-slot-1-1-696x458.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/pixel-10-pro-xl-replacement-unit-with-physical-sim-slot-1-1-639x420.jpg 639w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/pixel-10-pro-xl-replacement-unit-with-physical-sim-slot-1-1-741x486.jpg 741w" sizes="(max-width: 785px) 100vw, 785px" /><figcaption>Pixel 10 Pro XL original (top) and replacement unit (bottom)</figcaption></figure>

<p>According to posts on social media platforms like Reddit, customers who returned their <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10/">Pixel 10</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10-pro/">10 Pro</a>, or <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10-pro-xl/">10 Pro XL</a> for issues like scratched frames or display problems ended up receiving global variants of the phone. Unlike the US models, these versions include a nano-SIM slot alongside eSIM support, giving users more flexibility when swapping carriers or using local SIMs while traveling.</p>

<p>At first glance, that sounds like a free upgrade. But there’s a catch. According to Android Authority, these global models don’t support mmWave 5G, which US carriers like Verizon, AT&amp;T, and T-Mobile still rely on in many areas. They’re also missing a few 5G bands (n29, n48, n70) used mostly by smaller MVNOs. For many people, the difference may not matter much, but anyone who depends on mmWave speeds could run into limitations. In those cases, Google support may need to step in with another option.</p>

<p>The bigger question is why this is happening. Is Google deliberately sending out global stock as replacements, or is it just a supply shuffle behind the scenes? Either way, it’s an odd twist for a phone that was meant to mark the US move toward an eSIM-only future.</p>

<p>The Pixel 10 series is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/google/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Google</a>&#8216;s most refined lineup to date, featuring upgraded displays, a new Tensor G5 processor, and improved on-device AI capabilities. The phones also support Qi2 magnetic charging and come with fresh features like Magic Cue, Camera Coach, and Pixel Journal.</p>

<p>But despite these additions, the Pixel 10, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">10 Pro</a>, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10-pro-xl/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">10 Pro XL</a> are not the right fit for everyone. Several compromises and missing features could make this lineup less appealing depending on user needs and expectations.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="738" height="460" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/screenshot-3.jpg?x44794" alt="Google pixel 10" class="wp-image-702536" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/screenshot-3.jpg 738w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/screenshot-3-300x187.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/screenshot-3-696x434.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/screenshot-3-674x420.jpg 674w" sizes="(max-width: 738px) 100vw, 738px" /></figure></div>

<h3><strong>Power Users Who Demand Snapdragon-Level Performance</strong></h3>

<p>The Pixel 10 lineup runs on Google’s in-house Tensor G5 chipset, which focuses on AI and efficiency rather than raw power. While the G5 shows improvement over last year’s Tensor G4, it still cannot match the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Elite or <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/apple/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Apple</a> A18 Pro.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/08/23/tensor-g5-vs-snapdragon-8-elite-flagship-showdown/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Benchmark scores</a> tell the story. On AnTuTu, the Tensor G5 scores around 1.2 million, which falls well below the Snapdragon 8 Elite’s score of over 2.2 million. GPU performance remains a weak spot, making the Pixel 10 series less suitable for graphics-intensive gaming or demanding creative workflows.</p>

<p>Thermal management also continues to lag behind competing flagship devices. Anyone looking for top-tier performance for gaming, rendering, or intensive multitasking may find the Pixel 10 series underwhelming.</p>

<h3><strong>Photographers Hoping for a Big Camera Leap</strong></h3>

<p>Google maintains its strong camera reputation with the Pixel 10 series, but it did not introduce groundbreaking changes. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pixel 10</a> adds a telephoto camera, which is new for a non-Pro Pixel, but the main and ultra-wide sensors are smaller than those in the Pixel 9.</p>

<p>The Pro models carry over much of the Pixel 9 Pro’s hardware. The main, ultra-wide, and telephoto sensors remain the same, although software improvements attempt to enhance the overall output. Features like Auto Best Take and Camera Coach assist with better compositions, but they do not compensate for the lack of hardware upgrades. Users upgrading from the Pixel 8 Pro or Pixel 9 Pro may not notice a significant difference in image quality or versatility.</p>

<h3><strong>Travelers and SIM Swappers</strong></h3>

<p>Google has moved to an eSIM-only setup for Pixel 10 devices in the United States. This decision could cause problems for users who frequently travel or switch SIMs. Many global carriers still rely on physical SIM cards, and eSIM compatibility remains inconsistent in several regions.</p>

<p>While physical SIM support continues in some markets like India, the transition to eSIM-only hardware suggests that future Pixel models may drop the SIM tray altogether. For users who rely on dual SIMs or frequently swap SIM cards while traveling, this change can be frustrating.</p>

<h3><strong>Buyers Expecting Class-Leading Battery or Charging</strong></h3>

<p>Battery life and charging speeds remain moderate in the Pixel 10 series. The Pixel 10 has a 4970mAh battery, the Pro has 4870mAh, and the Pro XL tops out at 5200mAh. While these capacities are competitive, real-world endurance does not outperform rivals.</p>

<p>Wired charging speeds max out at 29W for the Pixel 10 and 39W for the Pro XL. Wireless charging supports the new Qi2 standard with Pixelsnap, but the maximum speeds are limited to 15W (Pixel 10 and 10 Pro) and 25W (Pro XL).</p>

<p>Competitors like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oneplus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi</a>, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/samsung/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Samsung</a> already support faster charging speeds both wired and wireless. Google also does not include a charger in the box, which may add to the cost for users who want to take full advantage of the new charging tech.</p>

<h3><strong>Anyone Expecting AI to Fix Everything</strong></h3>

<p>AI is central to the Pixel 10 experience. Google introduced features like Magic Cue, Add Me, Camera Coach, and Pixel Journal, all powered by on-device generative models. Some of these tools work well in specific scenarios, like guided photo tips or private journaling prompts. However, many features are still in their early stages and may not consistently deliver results.</p>

<p>Inconsistent detection, occasional UI glitches, and limited language support affect the overall experience. Add Me struggles in low light, Camera Coach fails in unpredictable scenes, and Pixel Journal can feel too generic to be meaningful. Google will likely improve these features over time, but users expecting flawless AI integration from day one may be disappointed.</p>

<h3><strong>So, Who Should Wait?</strong></h3>

<p>Users of Pixel 8 or 9 Pro devices will see only modest gains with the Pixel 10 series. Anyone prioritizing hardware performance, fast charging, or camera breakthroughs may want to wait for future models or explore alternatives like the Galaxy S25 Ultra or Xiaomi 15 Ultra.</p>

<p>The Pixel 10 lineup brings smart features, improved software, and longer update cycles, but it still has room to grow in terms of performance, battery innovation, and global usability.</p>

<h3>Pixel 9 Series: Best Value Flagship</h3>

<p>While Google did bring some notable changes to the Pixel 10, one could argue that the upgrades were still incremental when comparing it to the Pixel 9 series. The 2024 flagships still hold up with Google AI features, top tier cameras, and decent performance without the burden of a hefty price tag.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="512" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-9-Pro-XL-1024x512.webp?x44794" alt="Pixel 9 Pro XL" class="wp-image-693438" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-9-Pro-XL-1024x512.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-9-Pro-XL-300x150.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-9-Pro-XL-768x384.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-9-Pro-XL-1536x768.webp 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-9-Pro-XL-696x348.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-9-Pro-XL-1068x534.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-9-Pro-XL-840x420.webp 840w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-9-Pro-XL.webp 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Google Pixel 9 Pro XL</figcaption></figure></div>

<ul><li><strong>Pixel 9:</strong> Around $799 for 128GB, a compact and polished design, and a solid AI chipset. Although, you can typically find it for around $499. </li><li><strong>Pixel 9 Pro:</strong> Retailing for approximately $999, with enhanced camera sensors and display quality. As of right now, the Pixel 9 Pro goes for just under $600 in the US.</li><li><strong>Pixel 9 Pro XL:</strong> Nearly identical to the Pixel 9 Pro, but with a larger screen and faster charging. You can find this premium phone for around $660.</li></ul>

<h3>Pixel a Series: Budget Contenders</h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="771" height="516" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/google-pixel-9a.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-700266" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/google-pixel-9a.png 771w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/google-pixel-9a-300x201.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/google-pixel-9a-768x514.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/google-pixel-9a-696x466.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/google-pixel-9a-628x420.png 628w" sizes="(max-width: 771px) 100vw, 771px" /><figcaption>Google Pixel 9a</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Google offers the Pixel experience on a budget with the Pixel a lineup. The Pixel 9a is the newest in the series, while there are also older models like the Pixel 8a. These come with more affordable prices and consistent software support. </p>

<ul><li><strong>Pixel 9a:</strong> The budget-friendly option was announced with a $499 starting price, offering great cameras and a clean Android experience. Now, it can retail for under $400.</li><li><strong>Pixel 8a:</strong> Originally retailing for under $400, you can find the Pixel 8a online for around $220.</li></ul>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/google/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Google</a> has recently launched the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/08/20/pixel-10-pro-pixel-10-pro-xl-debut/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pixel 10 series</a> with its most advanced camera features yet. The new phones combine upgraded hardware with AI-powered tools to deliver clearer photos, smoother videos, and easier editing. Here&#8217;s a breakdown of all the new camera features and improvements Pixel 10 series users will be able to enjoy.</p>

<h2>Upgraded camera hardware</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1000" height="560" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/PixelCamera_PixelCamera-1.gif?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-703448"/></figure></div>

<p>The Pixel 10 series introduces a 5x telephoto lens for the first time. The standard Pixel 10 comes with a 48 MP main sensor and a 13 MP ultra-wide sensor. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL feature a 50 MP wide camera and a 50 MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. Both models also support Super Res Zoom up to 100x. All three devices run on Google’s Tensor G5 chip for faster processing and higher resolution output.</p>

<p>Video capture has been improved with a new optical image stabilization system that has twice the compensation range of the previous generation. Combined with Google’s Video Boost processing, this allows for steadier recording in all conditions.</p>

<p>The Pixel 10 Pro Fold adds a new 48 MP rear camera sensor along with advanced ultrawide and telephoto lenses that support Macro Focus and Super Res Zoom.</p>

<h2>Improved photo processing</h2>

<p>Google has refined its HDR+ pipeline to enhance color, focus, detail and noise reduction. Portrait Mode has been updated with better segmentation, sharpness and texture for more accurate results. On the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL, users can capture 50 MP high-resolution images for added detail.</p>

<h2>AI features for easier photography</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="700" height="700" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/PixelCamera_CameraCoach_v2_ddXwD5S-1.gif?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-703445"/></figure></div>

<p>Google has also added a pretty nifty feature called Camera Coach for novice photographers. It uses Gemini AI models to guide users while taking photos. It gives step-by-step suggestions for lighting, framing and composition to help improve results.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/PixelCamera_Auto_Best_Take-1-499x1024.gif?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-703446" width="373" height="764" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/PixelCamera_Auto_Best_Take-1-499x1024.gif 499w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/PixelCamera_Auto_Best_Take-1-146x300.gif 146w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/PixelCamera_Auto_Best_Take-1-205x420.gif 205w" sizes="(max-width: 373px) 100vw, 373px" /></figure></div>

<p>Auto Best Take simplifies group photos. The feature analyzes up to 150 frames within seconds and selects the one where everyone looks their best. If there is no single perfect frame, it blends frames together automatically.</p>

<h2>Advanced zoom</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1442" height="1080" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/PixelLaunch_Pro_Res_Zoom_Im4DEQD-1.gif?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-703447"/></figure></div>

<p>Pro Res Zoom on the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL extends zoom up to 100x. Tensor G5 processes these images using a diffusion model, preserving details even at long range. This feature is most useful for wildlife, landscapes and landmarks.</p>

<h2>Easier editing</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/V2_2nd_In-Line_Carousel_nzP64pn.gif?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-703366" width="669" height="669"/></figure></div>

<p>Editing in Google Photos now works with natural language. Users can type instructions such as “remove glare” or “brighten the photo” and the edits are applied automatically.</p>

<h2>Accessibility and special modes</h2>

<p>Guided Frame has been upgraded with Gemini AI to assist people who are blind or have low vision. The feature uses audio prompts, vibrations and scene descriptions to make it easier to capture photos independently.</p>

<p>Panorama Mode now supports the 5x telephoto lens. It can produce images up to 100 MP with manual focus, zoom support and overall quality improvements.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/rango_Camera-2_InstantView_1080x1080_wwfoq0H1.gif?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-703370" width="607" height="607"/></figure></div>

<p>On the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Instant View allows users to see their most recent shot next to the viewfinder while the phone is unfolded, making it quicker to review and retake photos if needed.</p>

<div class="wp-container-2 wp-block-buttons">
<div class="wp-block-button"><a class="wp-block-button__link" href="https://geni.us/szKur6M" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Buy Now </a></div>
</div>

<h2>Content authenticity</h2>

<p>All Pixel 10 phones now support C2PA Content Credentials. This system stores secure metadata with each photo to show how it was captured or edited. The information is processed on-device and can be reviewed directly in Google Photos.</p>

There&#8217;s an everyday companion, a camera powerhouse, and even a full-fledged tablet in your pocket. All of these pack new and improved hardware, new AI features, and much more. So here’s a breakdown to help you choose the Pixel that fits your priorities.</p>

<h3>Pixel 10 &#8211; The Everyday Value Phone</h3>

<p>Out of the entire lineup, the Pixel 10 gets a mixed bag of hardware changes. On the one hand, you get a downgraded primary and ultra wide camera, but there is a new telephoto shooter (first for the base model), Pixelsnap wireless charging support, and the new Tensor G5 chip as well. For a starting price tag of $799, you still get AI enhancements like Magic Cue, a bright and compact 6.3-inch OLED display, and a bigger battery over its predecessor. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1007" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/IVXToY6fipZ4nGNsOUy-VxD9VRoWcKu-1007x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="Google Pixel 10" class="wp-image-702535" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/IVXToY6fipZ4nGNsOUy-VxD9VRoWcKu-1007x1024.jpg 1007w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/IVXToY6fipZ4nGNsOUy-VxD9VRoWcKu-295x300.jpg 295w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/IVXToY6fipZ4nGNsOUy-VxD9VRoWcKu-768x781.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/IVXToY6fipZ4nGNsOUy-VxD9VRoWcKu-696x708.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/IVXToY6fipZ4nGNsOUy-VxD9VRoWcKu-1068x1086.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/IVXToY6fipZ4nGNsOUy-VxD9VRoWcKu-413x420.jpg 413w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/IVXToY6fipZ4nGNsOUy-VxD9VRoWcKu.jpg 1180w" sizes="(max-width: 1007px) 100vw, 1007px" /><figcaption>Google Pixel 10</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>So if you&#8217;re looking for the latest Pixel experience without breaking the bank on the top models, the Pixel 10 will meet all of your needs. Google&#8217;s software optimizations for both the UI and cameras ensure you get a true Pixel experience and capable photography. </p>

<h3>Pixel 10 Pro &amp; Pixel 10 Pro XL &#8211; Advanced Cameras, Built for Power Users</h3>

<p>For the more expensive Pro models, Google pulled out all the stops with no compromises on cameras. Both models are nearly identical with just a few differences. The Pixel 10 Pro is a compact flagship with a 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED screen. It is a more serious shooter with a larger new primary, ultra wide, and periscope telephoto cameras. You also get top tier AI tools (with advanced 100x zoom and 8K super res), the new Tensor G5, and a larger battery.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="838" height="644" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Pixel-10-Pro-XL.jpg?x44794" alt="Google Pixel 10 Pro &amp; Pixel 10 Pro XL" class="wp-image-702556" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Pixel-10-Pro-XL.jpg 838w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-300x231.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-768x590.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-696x535.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-547x420.jpg 547w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-80x60.jpg 80w" sizes="(max-width: 838px) 100vw, 838px" /><figcaption>Google Pixel 10 Pro &amp; Pixel 10 Pro XL</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>But for those who need an even bigger battery and a larger 6.8-inch display, we have the Pixel 10 Pro XL. Another big advantage of the Pixel 10 Pro XL is support for the Qi2.2 standard, which brings 25W magnetic wireless charging. In other words, this model will also appeal to creatives, gamers, or binge watchers. This directly competes with the likes of Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. The duo are quite expensive, representing the best Google has to offer, starting from $999 and $1,199, respectively.</p>

<h3>Pixel 10 Pro Fold &#8211; Ultimate Productivity with Foldable Flexibility</h3>

<p>The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is Google&#8217;s latest foldable flagship. It is the most expensive model out of the lot, costing $1,799. At this price range, it targets power users who crave a tablet experience, creatives, and multitaskers who enjoy the foldable form factor. It sports a 6.4-inch cover and a huge 8-inch Super Actua Flex inner display. Despite being a foldable phone, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is the first of its kind to offer IP68 water and dust resistance. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="578" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/google-pixel-10-pro-fold-1024x578.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-702668" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/google-pixel-10-pro-fold-1024x578.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/google-pixel-10-pro-fold-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/google-pixel-10-pro-fold-768x434.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/google-pixel-10-pro-fold-1536x868.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/google-pixel-10-pro-fold-696x393.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/google-pixel-10-pro-fold-1068x603.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/google-pixel-10-pro-fold-744x420.png 744w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/google-pixel-10-pro-fold.png 1912w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Tensor G5 makes a return alongside the various AI tools it powers, like the Camera Coach, Magic Cue, Gemini Live, and more. Google claims that the hinge is twice as durable as before, with the body using aerospace-grade aluminum. You get a sizeable 5,050mAh battery pack, which even supports the new Qi2 wireless charging standards. The camera system is basically the same as the base Pixel 10, but with a slightly smaller ultra wide angle lens. While the cameras don&#8217;t impress on paper, this is where Google&#8217;s impressive software tuning kicks in. </p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/google/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Google </a>has officially launched its latest flagships, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pixel 10 Pro</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10-pro-xl/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pixel 10 Pro XL</a>. Powered by the new Tensor G5 chip and bundled with advanced AI features, these premium phones also impress with their vibrant LTPO displays, sleek satin metal frames, and reinforced durability. So here&#8217;s everything you need to know.</p>

<h3>Google Pixel 10 Pro Series: New Hardware</h3>

<p>The new Pixel 10 Pro series with a series of upgrades over its predecessors. First and foremost, we have the new Google Tensor G5 SoC, which comes with a Titan M2 security chip. This new processor promises around 34 percent faster CPU performance, while also upgrading on-device AI performance by 60 percent. Keeping the more powerful chip cool is an improved vapor chamber cooling system.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="838" height="644" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Pixel-10-Pro-XL.jpg?x44794" alt="Google Pixel 10 Pro &amp; Pixel 10 Pro XL" class="wp-image-702556" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Pixel-10-Pro-XL.jpg 838w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-300x231.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-768x590.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-696x535.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-547x420.jpg 547w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-80x60.jpg 80w" sizes="(max-width: 838px) 100vw, 838px" /><figcaption>Google Pixel 10 Pro &amp; Pixel 10 Pro XL</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Google built the Pixel 10 Pro as a compact flagship, which sports a 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, 3300 nits of peak brightness, and Corning&#8217;s Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection. However, this smaller form factor comes at the cost of battery size and charging since the base Pixel 10 Pro houses a 4,870mAh cell with 29W wired fast charigng and 15W wireless Qi2 compatible charging. </p>

<p>Meanwhile, the Pixel 10 Pro XL sports a taller 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a higher QHD+ resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, 3300 nits of peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2. You also get a larger 5,200mAh battery pack with 39W wired fast charging and 25W Qi2 wireless charging support. Google is calling its own version of &#8220;MagSafe&#8221; Pixelsnap as an all-new magnetic charging tech. </p>

<h3>New Software</h3>

<p>Google has never always been more inclined towards the software experience, and the new AI features show that. Among the new features we have Magic Cue, which brings personalised intelligence thanks to the new Tensor G5 on the Pixel 10 series. There is also the Camera Coach that helps improve your photography game and Auto Best Take that can automatically find and combine similar phones to get the best result. Out of the box, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL run on Android 16 OS as well.</p>

<h3>Camera</h3>

<p>Both models feature an identical camera system on the front and back. The rear has a 50MP main Samsung GNV sensor (replacing Sony&#8217;s camera on the Pixel 9 Pros), which has a large 1.3-inch size and an f/1.7 aperture. This is paired with the same 48MP ultra wide angle and 48MP 5x telephoto shooter from last year. Similarly, the front also brings back the 32MP selfie camera that supports autofocus as well.</p>

<h3>Pricing and Availability</h3>

<p>Google unveiled the Pixel 10 Pro series in multiple color options, namely Obsidian, Porcelain (10 Pro only), Moonstone, and Jade. These were announced in multiple storage configurations, so here are their pricing details:</p>

<p><strong>Google Pixel 10 Pro</strong></p>

The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pixel 10 Pro </a>and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10-pro-xl/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pixel 10 Pro XL</a> have just been spotted in a fresh leak from <em>AndroidHeadlines</em>, which showcases the familiar design along with the colors options (that include an elegant new option). So let&#8217;s check it out.</p>

<h2>Google Pixel 10 Pro &amp; Pixel 10 Pro XL Renders</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Official-Renders-Leak-1024x576.webp?x44794" alt="Google Pixel 10 Pro Official Renders Leak" class="wp-image-698122" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Official-Renders-Leak-1024x576.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Official-Renders-Leak-300x169.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Official-Renders-Leak-768x432.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Official-Renders-Leak-696x392.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Official-Renders-Leak-1068x601.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Official-Renders-Leak-746x420.webp 746w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-Official-Renders-Leak.webp 1420w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Google Pixel 10 Pro Official Renders Leak</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>First up, we have the compact flagship, the Google Pixel 10 Pro. Like its predecessor, the iconic visor camera design makes its return that showcases the triple camera setup on the rear. This model can be seen in multiple color options, namely Obsidian, Jade, Moonstone, and Porcelain. We have already seen the Obsidian and Porcelain colors, but the Moonstone and Jade are brand new.</p>

<p>The Moonstone is a more sober color option that blends gray and blue, while Jade has a light green hue that adds some vibrance to the mix. Google adds a touch of elegance with a light golden frame as well. Looking at the Pixel 10 Pro XL renders, you get the same four color options. So apart from the taller display, the design is basically identical between the two Pixel 10 Pro series models.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-Official-Renders-Leaked-1024x576.webp?x44794" alt="Google Pixel 10 Pro XL Official Renders Leaked" class="wp-image-698123" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-Official-Renders-Leaked-1024x576.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-Official-Renders-Leaked-300x169.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-Official-Renders-Leaked-768x432.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-Official-Renders-Leaked-696x392.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-Official-Renders-Leaked-1068x601.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-Official-Renders-Leaked-746x420.webp 746w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-Pro-XL-Official-Renders-Leaked.webp 1420w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Google Pixel 10 Pro XL Official Renders Leaked</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Earlier this week, the base <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/07/21/google-pixel-10-design-fully-leaked/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pixel 10 also had its entire design and color </a>variants leaked as well. The Obsidian (Black) color was the most basic option, but every other version was brighter and bolder. To recall, these include the Indigo (Royal Blue), Frost (Sky Blue), and Limoncello (Green-Yellow). Google is set to unveil its flagship Pixel 10 lineup on August 20, so stick around for more.</p>

While the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are expected to receive an vapor chamber for cooling, rumors have hinted that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/06/25/google-pixel-10-no-vapor-chamber-cooling/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Google could skip the vapor chamber</a> for thermal management on the base model once again. </p>

<p>The standard Pixel 10 might arrive in multiple color options, namely Obsidian, Frost, Lemongrass, Indigo, Lemongrass, and Indigo. Meanwhile, the Pixel 10 Pro series is rumored to come in Obsidian, Porcelain, Moonstone, and Jade. So now let&#8217;s have a look at the display:</p>

<h3>Battery &amp; Charging</h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-10-5K2-1154x649-1-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="Google Pixel 10" class="wp-image-694271" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-10-5K2-1154x649-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-10-5K2-1154x649-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-10-5K2-1154x649-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-10-5K2-1154x649-1-696x391.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-10-5K2-1154x649-1-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-10-5K2-1154x649-1-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Pixel-10-5K2-1154x649-1.jpg 1154w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Google Pixel 10</figcaption></figure></div>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/07/01/google-pixel-10-pro-xl-specifications-leaked/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Reports have hinted</a> that the battery size is getting an upgrade across the new series. The base Pixel 10 may house a 4,970mAh battery pack, which could support 29W wired fast charging and 15W wireless Qi2 wireless charging. Meanwhile, the Pixel 10 Pro has identical charging specs but a slightly smaller 4,870mAh cell. Lastly, the Pixel 10 Pro XL packs the largest 5,200mAh battery with 39W wired fast charging and the same wireless charging speeds.</p>

<h3>Camera</h3>

<p>In a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/05/entire-pixel-10-series-camera-specs-revealed-and-its-a-a-mixed-bag-of-upgrades-and-downgrades/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">surprising turn of events</a>, the base Pixel is getting both an upgrade and a downgrade at the same time this year. Its main camera is losing the same main sensor as the more expensive Pro series, exchanging it with the Pixel 9a&#8217;s 1/2.0-inch 48MP shooter. Even the ultra wide angle lens is expected to get downgraded to a 13MP shooter (down from 48MP). But the base model finally gains a 10.8MP telephoto shooter (5x optical zoom).</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="670" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/google-pixel-10-leak-periscope-1024x670.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-696117" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/google-pixel-10-leak-periscope-1024x670.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/google-pixel-10-leak-periscope-300x196.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/google-pixel-10-leak-periscope-768x503.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/google-pixel-10-leak-periscope-696x456.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/google-pixel-10-leak-periscope-1068x699.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/google-pixel-10-leak-periscope-642x420.jpg 642w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/google-pixel-10-leak-periscope-741x486.jpg 741w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/google-pixel-10-leak-periscope.jpg 1500w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Base Pixel 10 Cameras</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>On the other hand, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are set to retain the same rear cameras setup as their predecessors, which consists of a 50MP (main), a 48MP (ultra wide), and a 48MP (periscope telephoto) with 5x optical zoom. While this may appear identical to the Pixel 9 Pros, it includes a new Samsung GN8 main camera. For selfies and video calls, the front has a 42MP shooter with autofocus on the Pro models and a 10.5MP camera on the base Pixel 10.</p>

<h3>Pricing &amp; Launch Date</h3>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/google/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Google</a>’s Pixel 10 series isn’t expected until later this year, but a new leak from reliable tipster Arsène Lupin has already revealed what buyers can expect in terms of color and storage variants across the lineup. The leak covers all four rumored models: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pixel 10</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/07/01/google-pixel-10-pro-xl-specifications-leaked/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL</a>, and the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/06/23/google-pixel-10-pro-fold-leak-sleeker-and-more-durable-with-ip68-rating/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pixel 10 Pro Fold</a>.</p>

<h2><strong>Pixel 10 keeps 128GB as base, 10 Pro starts at 256GB</strong></h2>

<p>The standard Pixel 10 will reportedly ship in two storage options, 128GB and 256GB, keeping it in line with previous entry-level Pixel phones. As for the color options, it will be available in Obsidian, Frost, Lemongrass, and Indigo. Lemongrass and Indigo shades.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Pixel 10 Pro will offer considerably more variety. Its storage options include 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Whereas, users will get a choice of Obsidian, Porcelain, Moonstone, and Jade for colors. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="849" height="545" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-series-color-and-storage-options.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-695427" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-series-color-and-storage-options.jpg 849w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-series-color-and-storage-options-300x193.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-series-color-and-storage-options-768x493.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-series-color-and-storage-options-696x447.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Google-Pixel-10-series-color-and-storage-options-654x420.jpg 654w" sizes="(max-width: 849px) 100vw, 849px" /></figure></div>

<p>Moving up the ladder, we have the Pixel 10 Pro XL. According to Lupin, it will skip the base 128GB option and start at 256GB, with additional 512GB and 1TB options. The color options are the same as the Pixel 10 Pro.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Finally, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is expected to be available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB variants. However, color options for the foldable are limited to just Moonstone and Jade. That means, unlike last year, there’s no black or white version this time around.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Google typically reveals its new Pixel phones in October, so these early details might still change. However, Arsène Lupin’s track record with accurate leaks adds weight to this report. With launch season approaching, more concrete details are likely to surface soon.</p>

<p>Google’s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/06/03/pixel-10-series-to-launch-on-august-20/">Pixel 10 series</a> is rumored to include a somewhat unique charging feature: Qi2 wireless charging with magnetic capabilities. Leaks suggest the Pixel 10 series could join the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/09/16/hmd-skyline-launched-in-india/">HMD Skyline</a> as the only Android phones with proper Qi2 support, complete with a new “Pixelsnap” accessory lineup.</p>

<p>Back in January, Google hinted at future Qi2 support, and now a <a href="https://www.androidauthority.com/google-pixel-10-qi-2-magnetic-pixelsnap-accessories-3566103/">leak</a> from Android Authority, based on credible marketing materials, confirms the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro will embrace Qi2.2, including the optional magnets that enable seamless attachment of accessories. This move brings Google closer to Apple’s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-magsafe/">MagSafe</a> ecosystem, which has popularized magnetic chargers and stands since the iPhone 12.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="624" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/5e4fce96-709a-4620-a8a3-102bc6c0a696.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-691718" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/5e4fce96-709a-4620-a8a3-102bc6c0a696.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/5e4fce96-709a-4620-a8a3-102bc6c0a696-300x183.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/5e4fce96-709a-4620-a8a3-102bc6c0a696-768x468.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/5e4fce96-709a-4620-a8a3-102bc6c0a696-696x424.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/5e4fce96-709a-4620-a8a3-102bc6c0a696-689x420.jpg 689w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Image: Google</figcaption></figure>

<p>The Pixel 10 series will reportedly use the ConvenientPower CPS4041 chip, supporting up to 60W wireless charging with the Magnetic Power Profile (MPP), though Google may cap speeds for efficiency or thermal reasons.</p>

<p>Under the “Pixelsnap” brand, Google is set to launch at least three accessories: the Pixelsnap Charger, a standard magnetic charging setup; the Pixelsnap Charger with Stand, likely combining charging with a phone stand; and the Pixelsnap Ring Stand, designed to prop up the device.</p>

<p>While details are sparse, trade listings spotted by the source mention the charger (codenamed STN4) in “Rock Candy” (black) and “Mist” (white) color options. The Pixelsnap Charger with Stand could be a highlight of the Pixel 10 series, especially with rumors of a new Hub Mode that transforms the Pixel 10 into a smart display during charging, similar to Apple’s StandBy Mode.</p>

<p>Compact smartphones have made a comeback in recent months. For a long time, this segment was primarily dominated by offerings from Samsung, Apple, and Google.</p>

<p>In recent years, Xiaomi entered this category with its base flagship model. A few months ago, Vivo also joined the list with a &#8220;mini&#8221; version of its flagship phone. More recently, OnePlus made its entry into this segment with much fanfare.</p>

<p>As we are only halfway through the year, several more compact smartphones are expected to launch. Let’s take a look at the anticipated models.</p>

<h2><strong>Upcoming Compact Smartphones</strong></h2>

<h3><strong>Vivo X200 FE</strong></h3>

<p>The Vivo X200 FE is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/05/31/vivo-x200-fe-and-x-fold5-india-launch-date-leaks-and-its-just-a-month-away/">expected to be released in global markets in July</a>. According to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/06/09/vivo-x200-fe-rumor-roundup/">information available</a>, the device will be a rebranded version of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-s30-pro-mini/">Vivo S30 Pro Mini</a>, which was recently launched in China.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini" class="wp-image-689116" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Vivo S30 Pro Mini</figcaption></figure>

<p>For context, the design of the S30 Pro Mini is reminiscent of the iPhone 16. However, the IP69-rated handset is built around a slightly larger 6.31-inch display compared to the iPhone&#8217;s 6.1-inch screen. The 1.5K (2640 x 1216 pixels) OLED display on the Vivo supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate.</p>

<p>Internally, the phone features a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus chip and a 6,500mAh silicon-carbide battery with support for 90W wired charging. It also comes with a versatile camera system, which includes: a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX882 3x telephoto shooter, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 50MP front-facing camera with autofocus.</p>

<h3><strong>Google Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro</strong></h3>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10/">Pixel 10</a> series is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/06/03/pixel-10-series-to-launch-on-august-20/">expected to be unveiled in August</a>. The base model and the Pro version will continue to feature a compact form factor.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="865" height="649" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Pixel-10-render.jpg?x44794" alt="Pixel-10-render" class="wp-image-676802" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Pixel-10-render.jpg 865w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Pixel-10-render-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Pixel-10-render-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Pixel-10-render-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Pixel-10-render-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Pixel-10-render-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Pixel-10-render-265x198.jpg 265w" sizes="(max-width: 865px) 100vw, 865px" /><figcaption>Google Pixel 10</figcaption></figure>

<p>The duo is anticipated to sport a 6.3-inch OLED display. Much like their predecessors, the standard Pixel 10 will likely offer an FHD+ resolution, while the Pixel 10 Pro is expected to have a higher 1.5K resolution.</p>

<p>Both models <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/10/24/pixel-10s-tensor-g5-finally-uses-tsmcs-3nm-process-but-with-weird-core-choices/">will be powered by the new Tensor G5 chip</a>; however, they are said to feature <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/05/entire-pixel-10-series-camera-specs-revealed-and-its-a-a-mixed-bag-of-upgrades-and-downgrades/">different camera systems</a>. For the first time, the standard variant will reportedly include a third telephoto sensor, though its other sensors will be a downgrade from the previous generation. The Pixel 10 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to retain the same camera hardware as its forerunner.</p>

<h3><strong>Apple iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro</strong></h3>

<p>The iPhone 17 lineup is expected to be unveiled in September and will reportedly feature a new design. As usual, the standard and Pro models are said to retain their compact form factor.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="559" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/iPhone-17-series-dummies-back-1024x559.jpg?x44794" alt="Apple iPhone 17 Series Dummies" class="wp-image-677471" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/iPhone-17-series-dummies-back-1024x559.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/iPhone-17-series-dummies-back-300x164.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/iPhone-17-series-dummies-back-768x419.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/iPhone-17-series-dummies-back-1536x839.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/iPhone-17-series-dummies-back-2048x1119.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/iPhone-17-series-dummies-back-696x380.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/iPhone-17-series-dummies-back-1068x583.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/iPhone-17-series-dummies-back-1920x1049.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/iPhone-17-series-dummies-back-769x420.jpg 769w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Dummies of iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Air, and iPhone 17</figcaption></figure>

<p>Their display sizes are anticipated to increase from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches. In a significant upgrade, the base iPhone 17 will also <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/06/04/new-iphone-17-air-iphone-17-to-feature-120hz-displays-but-theres-a-catch/">support a 120Hz refresh rate (ProMotion)</a> for the first time.</p>

<p>The smartphones are expected to be powered by the A19 series of chips and are also rumored to include an upgraded 24MP front-facing camera.</p>

<p>The duo will be accompanied by two larger models: the iPhone 17 Pro Max and a new, thinner <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-17-air/">iPhone 17 Air</a>.</p>

<h3><strong>Xiaomi 16</strong></h3>

<p>The Xiaomi 16 series is expected to launch in September, a month earlier than its predecessors. The standard model will continue the tradition of being a compact smartphone, marking the fifth consecutive generation to do so.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="585" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/XIaomi-16-render-1024x585.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi 16 Render" class="wp-image-690332" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/XIaomi-16-render-1024x585.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/XIaomi-16-render-300x171.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/XIaomi-16-render-768x438.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/XIaomi-16-render-696x397.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/XIaomi-16-render-1068x610.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/XIaomi-16-render-736x420.jpg 736w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/XIaomi-16-render.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Xiaomi 16 (Alleged)</figcaption></figure>

<p>According to leaks, the handset will be built around a 6.39-inch display and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/05/21/xiaomi-16-series-snapdragon-xring-chip-dual-strategy/">will be powered</a> by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset.</p>

<p>Notably, the device is rumored to include a large <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/06/05/xiaomi-16-battery-leak-even-larger-than-previously-expected/">7,000mAh silicon-carbide battery</a>. For comparison, the current-generation <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-15/">Xiaomi 15</a> has a 5,400mAh cell.</p>

<p>The rear camera system will reportedly consist of three 50MP sensors, offering wide, ultrawide, and telephoto perspectives. Finally, the phone is expected to ship with HyperOS 3, based on Android 16.</p>

<h3><strong>Vivo X300 Pro Mini</strong></h3>

<p>The Vivo X300 Pro Mini is anticipated to be released in October. It will be the company’s third compact smartphone, following the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-x200-pro-mini/">X200 Pro Mini</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-s30-pro-mini/">S30 Pro Mini</a>.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Vivo-X200-Pro-Mini-official-image-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="Vivo X200 Pro Mini" class="wp-image-653972" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Vivo-X200-Pro-Mini-official-image-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Vivo-X200-Pro-Mini-official-image-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Vivo-X200-Pro-Mini-official-image-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Vivo-X200-Pro-Mini-official-image-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Vivo-X200-Pro-Mini-official-image-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Vivo-X200-Pro-Mini-official-image-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Vivo-X200-Pro-Mini-official-image-1920x1080.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Vivo-X200-Pro-Mini-official-image-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Vivo-X200-Pro-Mini-official-image.jpg 2000w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Vivo X200 Pro Mini</figcaption></figure>

<p>The device is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/06/09/vivo-x300-pro-mini-leak/">with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor</a>. A large <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/06/05/vivo-x300-pro-mini-might-pack-a-7000mah-battery-in-a-compact-body/">7,000mAh silicon-carbide battery</a> will power the handset.</p>

<p>The phone is also tipped to retain a periscope telephoto camera alongside an ultrawide unit. Unlike its predecessor, it will also offer support for wireless charging.</p>

<p>The upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-10/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pixel 10</a> has already been subject to many leaks in classic Google fashion. Specs, pricing, renders, you name it, it’s probably out there. But if that wasn’t enough, the device has now made a real-world appearance in possibly the most bizarre way yet.</p>

<p>A user on X stumbled upon a full-blown Pixel 10 commercial shoot while out for a walk in Vancouver. It’s a little hard to believe, but the user shared pictures of the shoot with a Pixel phone clearly in sight. The big giveaway, though, is the storyboard clearly mentioning Pixel 10.</p>

<h2><strong>Pixel 10 leaks from commercial ad shot</strong></h2>

<p>From what we can see, the Pixel 10 keeps the same camera bar design as the Pixel 9—something early renders had already hinted at. Judging by the visible hardware, this might be the Pixel 10 Pro or even the Ultra, especially given the presence of what looks like a camera visor housing a temperature sensor.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Google-Pixel-10-ad-shoot-leak.jpg?x44794" alt="Google Pixel 10 ad shoot leak" class="wp-image-688490" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Google-Pixel-10-ad-shoot-leak.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Google-Pixel-10-ad-shoot-leak-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Google-Pixel-10-ad-shoot-leak-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Google-Pixel-10-ad-shoot-leak-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Google-Pixel-10-ad-shoot-leak-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>It’s not just the design that appears unchanged. The Pixel 10 Pro and Ultra are rumored to stick with the same camera hardware as last year’s models. Instead of new sensors, Google is expected to lean on the upcoming Tensor G5 chip and its upgraded image signal processor to deliver improvements via software and algorithmic tweaks.</p>

<p>The base Pixel 10, though, might finally get in on the telephoto game. According to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/05/entire-pixel-10-series-camera-specs-revealed-and-its-a-a-mixed-bag-of-upgrades-and-downgrades/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">reports</a>, it’ll feature an 11MP Samsung 3J1 sensor for optical zoom. It’s the same sensor Google used in the Pixel Fold and Pixel 9 Pro. </p>

<p>However, not all the camera news is great. Word is that Google might swap its current 1/1.31-inch GN1 sensor for a smaller 1/1.95-inch Samsung GN8 on the Pixel 10.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Google-Pixel-10-ad-shoot-1.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-688488" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Google-Pixel-10-ad-shoot-1.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Google-Pixel-10-ad-shoot-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Google-Pixel-10-ad-shoot-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Google-Pixel-10-ad-shoot-1-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Google-Pixel-10-ad-shoot-1-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>The ultrawide camera also reportedly takes a step down, from a 1/2.55-inch Sony IMX858 to a more compact 1/3.1-inch Sony IMX712. If that sounds familiar, it’s because those are the exact sensors used in the Pixel 9a. And yes, that’s bit of a letdown.</p>
