<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-283070" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Pixel-4-and-Pixel-4-XL-featured.png?x44794" alt="Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL featured" width="855" height="583" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Pixel-4-and-Pixel-4-XL-featured.png 855w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Pixel-4-and-Pixel-4-XL-featured-300x205.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Pixel-4-and-Pixel-4-XL-featured-768x524.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Pixel-4-and-Pixel-4-XL-featured-218x150.png 218w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Pixel-4-and-Pixel-4-XL-featured-696x475.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Pixel-4-and-Pixel-4-XL-featured-616x420.png 616w" sizes="(max-width: 855px) 100vw, 855px" /></p>
<p>The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL come with new features not present in any of their predecessors but also keep some of the old features. To start with, both phones feature OLED screens with a 90Hz refresh rate that <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/google">Google</a> has termed Smooth Display. There are no notches but their foreheads stick out thanks to the sensors packed underneath.</p>
<p>The new Pixel 4 phones also come with an extra camera on the back &#8211; a telephoto lens which means portrait mode gets even better on the Pixel phones. There is also a new way to unlock your device and make payments &#8211; Face Unlock (RIP fingerprint scanner), and a new way to control your device without touching it thanks to Motion Sense which is powered by the Soli Radar chip.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-283069" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Pixel-4-cameras.png?x44794" alt="Pixel 4 cameras" width="994" height="755" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Pixel-4-cameras.png 994w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Pixel-4-cameras-300x228.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Pixel-4-cameras-768x583.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Pixel-4-cameras-80x60.png 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Pixel-4-cameras-696x529.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Pixel-4-cameras-553x420.png 553w" sizes="(max-width: 994px) 100vw, 994px" /></p>
<p>Active Edge is still present, so you can squeeze and activate the all-new Google Assistant. The Titan M Security Module is also back again to keep you protected. There are stereo speakers but no audio jack and you also get an eSIM along with a nano-SIM slot. You also get at least 3 years of security and OS updates.</p>
