Now, a more reliable source has revealed some interesting details regarding the battery life of the Pixel Watch.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-459890 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch.png?x10805" alt="Google Pixel Watch" width="2022" height="1166" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch.png 2022w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-300x173.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-768x443.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-1024x590.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-696x401.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-1068x616.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-728x420.png 728w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-1920x1107.png 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2022px) 100vw, 2022px" /></p>
<p>According to a <a href="https://9to5google.com/2022/08/12/fitbit-pixel-watch-sleep-tracking/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>9To5Google</em> </a>report, the battery details of the Pixel Watch was revealed in the Fitbit app for Android. Digging around in the app, references to the search engine giant&#8217;s new smartwatch was found on the application. The app states that &#8220;You&#8217;ll need at least 30% charge to track a full night&#8217;s sleep&#8221;. Typically, eight hours of sleep is the commended standard for sleep duration, so 30 percent of the smartwatch&#8217;s battery life being required to cover this duration means that the Pixel Watch will have a total battery life of around 24 hours.</p>
<p>In other words, the Pixel Watch will have a battery life similar to that of the Apple Watch and is not competing with some of the top smartwatches in the market that offer longer battery life. For those unaware, Google owns Fitbit, although, its not clear what kind of support the Fitbit app will bring for the upcoming Pixel Watch since there has been rumors regarding the company working on a dedicated Pixel Watch app.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-459888 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-featured.png?x10805" alt="Google Pixel Watch" width="1608" height="1074" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-featured.png 1608w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-featured-300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-featured-768x513.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-featured-1024x684.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-featured-696x465.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-featured-1068x713.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-featured-629x420.png 629w" sizes="(max-width: 1608px) 100vw, 1608px" /></p>
<p>As of right now, the 24 hour battery life is quite lackluster in the smart wearable market. It is the bare minimum that a company could offer that would seem practical in daily use. Furthermore, charging the product overnight or even during the day would make it even less appealing in the market. Keep in mind that this is still unconfirmed officially by the company, so take this report with a pinch of salt for now.</p>

Previous reports have suggested the possible battery size of the smartwatch (300mAh). But now a new report might have revealed details about the smartwatch’s battery life, and trust me it’s not what you may have expected.</p>
<p><a href="https://9to5google.com/2022/05/31/pixel-watch-battery-life/">9to5Google</a>, citing sources, has reported that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/pixel-watch">Pixel Watch</a> will be to last just a day on a single charge. This is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/google">Google</a>&#8216;s current estimate at this point in the pre-release life cycle, and it may alter before the launch. Also, it’s not certain whether Google enabled features like Always-On Display (AOD) or sleep tracking during the testing.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-459890" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch.png?x10805" alt="Google Pixel Watch" width="2022" height="1166" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch.png 2022w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-300x173.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-768x443.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-1024x590.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-696x401.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-1068x616.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-728x420.png 728w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/pixel-watch-1920x1107.png 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2022px) 100vw, 2022px" /></p>
<p>If the current estimate is to be believed then the Google watch is fairly disappointing, it is turning into just another smartwatch in the market. Google aims to compete with premium watches like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-watch4/">Galaxy Watch 4</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/Product/apple-watch-series-7/">Apple Watch Series 7</a>, we are not sure about other specifications but it is definitely at par with them in terms of battery time.</p>
<p>If this wasn’t enough for you, we have one more disappointing piece of information. This time it’s about the Charging time of the Pixel Watch. As per the report, the Pixel watch does not even support fast charging, the Google watch takes around the same time to fully charge as the Galaxy Watch 4, which is somewhat longer than 110 minutes.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s not quite as fast as Apple&#8217;s Series 7 lineup, which claims 0-80% in 45 minutes and 0–100% in 75 minutes using USB-C and a 20W adapter. However, it’s worth noting that the Pixel watch is still in the production stage and these estimates could possibly change.</p>
