Honor updated its budget lineup with a new model today, the Honor Play3. The phone isn’t the successor to the original Honor Play which was the brand’s first gaming-centric smartphone. Instead, the Play3 focuses on bringing decent specs, good built, and a workable camera under $150.

We have already covered the specifications of the Honor Play3 in detail in our launch article. So here, let’s focus on Honor Play3’s pricing and availability in China.

The Honor Play3 will come in three variants in China, start at 999 Yuan.

• 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM – 999 Yuan ($140)
• 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM – 1299 Yuan ($181)
• 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM  – 1299 Yuan ($181)

Unlike the Honor 20S which is already on sale, the Honor Play3 will only go on sale next week on September 10 at 10:08 AM CST. There will be three colors available for purchase, Black, Blue, and Red.

The Honor Play3 is powered by the Kirin 710F chipset made for entry-level smartphones. The phone packs a 48MP camera at the back with two other lenses, an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP lens for portrait. You also get a large 4000mAh battery on board with a 10W charger.
