OnePlus Nord 6 and Poco F8 Pro take two very different approaches to the flagship killer formula. One focuses on massive battery life and ultra-smooth gaming, while the other pushes premium performance, cameras, and flagship-level refinement. With both phones offering powerful Snapdragon chips, advanced AMOLED displays, and aggressive pricing, this comparison breaks down which device actually delivers the better overall experience for the money.

Design and Display

Build and Feel

The OnePlus Nord 6 focuses on durability and practicality with IP68/IP69K protection and MIL-STD-810H certification. Its plastic frame and back help keep the device comfortable during extended gaming or media sessions, though it does not feel as premium in hand. The Poco F8 Pro clearly targets a more flagship-style experience with its aluminum frame, glass back, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It feels more polished and refined, especially for users who care about premium materials.

Display Quality

OnePlus pushes harder on refresh rate and brightness with a 165Hz AMOLED panel and impressive peak brightness levels. Animations feel extremely smooth, and gaming responsiveness stands out immediately. Poco counters with Dolby Vision support, richer color depth, and a more balanced flagship-grade viewing experience. While the lower 120Hz refresh rate is noticeable on paper, the overall display tuning feels more cinematic and polished for streaming content.

Verdict

Poco F8 Pro feels more premium overall, while the OnePlus Nord 6 delivers a more aggressive gaming-focused display experience. Users prioritizing smoothness and durability may lean toward OnePlus, but Poco offers the more flagship-like finish.

Specifications Including Battery

Performance

The Poco F8 Pro takes a clear lead in raw performance thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and Adreno 830 GPU. Heavy gaming, multitasking, and AI-based processing feel effortless, placing it closer to ultra-premium Android flagships. The OnePlus Nord 6 still performs extremely well with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, offering smooth real-world usage and efficient thermal handling. It feels optimized for long gaming sessions rather than chasing benchmark numbers.

Battery and Charging

Battery life becomes the Nord 6’s biggest strength, especially with the massive 9000mAh India variant. It can comfortably stretch into two days for moderate users, something very few performance-focused phones can manage. The 80W charging is slower than Poco’s 100W system, but endurance matters more for many buyers. Poco charges significantly faster and still provides reliable all-day usage, though its smaller battery may feel less future-proof for power users.

Verdict

Poco F8 Pro wins outright for flagship-level performance, but the OnePlus Nord 6 stands out with unmatched battery endurance. The choice depends on whether raw power or long-lasting usage matters more.

Camera

Main and Secondary Lenses

The Poco F8 Pro delivers a more versatile camera setup with a dedicated 50MP telephoto lens, allowing cleaner portrait shots and better zoom quality. Its larger primary sensor also helps in low-light photography, producing more detailed and balanced images. Video recording is another major advantage, especially with 8K support and stronger slow-motion capabilities. The OnePlus Nord 6 keeps things simpler with a dual-camera setup focused on reliability rather than flexibility. Daylight shots remain sharp and vibrant, and the color tuning feels consistent across most conditions.

Selfie Camera

OnePlus gains an edge for selfie users with its 32MP front camera and 4K recording support. The sharper output and autofocus support help during video calls and social media recording. Poco’s 20MP front camera performs adequately but feels less impressive considering the price difference.

Verdict

Poco F8 Pro offers a stronger rear camera system and more professional versatility, while the OnePlus Nord 6 quietly becomes the better option for selfie-focused users and casual content creators.

Pricing

The OnePlus Nord 6 is priced at around ₹39,000, while the Poco F8 Pro reaches roughly ₹52,000. That gap changes the entire comparison because both devices target performance-focused buyers but approach value differently. OnePlus delivers flagship-grade gaming performance, a massive battery, advanced durability ratings, and a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display at a much lower price point. It feels aggressively positioned for buyers wanting maximum hardware without crossing premium flagship territory.

The Poco F8 Pro justifies its higher price through a better chipset, premium materials, stronger cameras, faster charging, and flagship-style finishing touches. It feels closer to ultra-premium Android devices rather than a typical value flagship. Buyers paying extra are clearly getting meaningful upgrades rather than small cosmetic improvements.

Verdict

OnePlus Nord 6 offers stronger value for money overall, especially for gamers and battery-focused users. Poco F8 Pro justifies its premium pricing better for users wanting flagship cameras, build quality, and top-tier performance.

Disclaimer:
Prices are approximate and may vary based on country, region, launch timing, and applicable taxes. Always check whether the listed price is for a China unit or a global/international variant when purchasing.

Conclusion

The OnePlus Nord 6 stands out with its unusually massive battery, 165Hz AMOLED display, IP69K durability, and practical gaming-focused approach. It feels designed for buyers who want long endurance and consistently smooth performance without overspending. The Poco F8 Pro, meanwhile, pushes closer to flagship territory with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, premium glass-and-metal construction, telephoto camera, Dolby Vision support, and superior multimedia experience.

Both phones target power users, but their priorities are very different. OnePlus focuses on efficiency, endurance, and aggressive value, while Poco emphasizes flagship polish and maximum performance. That difference becomes noticeable in everyday usage rather than just specification sheets.

Verdict

OnePlus Nord 6 is the smarter value-driven choice for most buyers, especially gamers and heavy users who prioritize battery life. The Poco F8 Pro feels more complete and premium overall, making it the better option for users willing to spend extra for flagship-level refinement.

Actual performance, camera results, battery life, and overall experience may vary depending on real-world usage, software updates, and individual preferences.

We expect the stable build of Android 17 to start rolling out to Pixel devices around June 2026. Following this, Poco users can look forward to the update arriving alongside the company’s skin, likely HyperOS 3 or the upcoming HyperOS 4, which promises a “Zero-Legacy” architecture for faster performance.

Here is the list of Poco devices currently eligible to receive the Android 17 update:

Poco Phones

Poco F-Series: Poco F8 Pro, Poco F8 Ultra, Poco F7, Poco F7 Pro, Poco F7 Ultra, Poco F6, Poco F6 Pro

Poco X-Series: Poco X8 Pro, Poco X8 Pro Max, Poco X7, Poco X7 Pro, Poco X6 Pro

Poco M-Series: Poco M8 5G, Poco M8 Pro 5G, Poco M7 4G, Poco M7 5G, Poco M7 Plus

Poco C-Series: Poco C85 4G, Poco C85 5G, Poco C71

Poco Tablets

Poco Pad M1

Poco Pad X1

Android 17 key features

Android 17 focuses heavily on Large Screen Adaptivity. For the first time, Google is making it mandatory for apps to be resizable, effectively killing off those annoying black “letterbox” bars on tablets and foldables. This will ensure that Poco Pad users enjoy a truly immersive, full-screen experience across all their favorite apps without developers needing to manually “opt-in.”

On the visual front, Android 17 expands the Material 3 Expressive design. Users can expect more translucent “blur” effects throughout the UI, particularly in the volume sliders and power menus. Under the hood, a new “lock-free MessageQueue” is set to reduce dropped frames, making the system feel smoother than ever, while enhanced privacy controls will give users clearer visibility into how apps access sensitive data.

With the launch of both POCO F8 Pro and POCO F8 Ultra, buyers now have two powerful “affordable flagships” to choose from. These devices are rebranded versions of the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max for the global market, bringing high end specs for an approachable price. However, both bring different sets of features and pricing. So in this article, we’ll break down their differences to help you pick the version that fits you best.

POCO F8 Ultra vs POCO F8 Pro: Design, Display, & Multimedia Experience

Display size and presentation are a clear differentiator. The POCO F8 sports a 6.59-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 3500 nits of peak brightness. Meanwhile, the overall design appears to have a large camera module that seems inspired by the iPhone 17 Pro. On the other hand, the POCO F8 Ultra offers a much larger 6.9-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1-3500 nits of peak brightness. So the F8 Pro is better for those who want a relatively compact phone, while the F8 Ultra brings a better watching experience.

POCO F8 Ultra and POCO F8 Pro

When it comes to audio and media consumption, both phones benefit from “Sound by Bose” stereo tuning. But the F8 Ultra also includes a dedicated rear subwoofer along with the stereo speakers, delivering deeper bass and fuller audio, which is a rare trait in smartphones. If you watch movies, play games, or care about multimedia immersion, that extra audio punch makes the F8 Ultra stand out.

Camera Capability & Versatility

Photography and zoom flexibility are another key area of divergence. The POCO F8 Pro is equipped with a 50MP Light Fusion main sensor (OIS, 1/1.55-inch) along with a 50MP telephoto shooter with a 2.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens, while the front houses a 20MP shooter for selfies and video calls. This offers great versatility and three usable image sensors on the rear.

However, the POCO F8 Ultra basically upgrades all three cameras. It features a 50MP Light Fusion 950 main camera with OIS and a 1/1.31-inch sensor size that is paired with a 50MP periscope telephoto shooter with 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra wide angle lens. Meanwhile, the front houses a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls. If photography, zoomed shots, or content creation matters to you, the Ultra offers a noticeably more powerful setup.

Battery, Charging & Everyday Use

Battery life and charging remain strengths for both phones, though with slight differences. The F8 Pro houses a 6,210 mAh battery, paired with 100 W wired fast charging for rapid top-ups. The F8 Ultra comes with a slightly larger 6,500mAh cell, and even adds 50W wireless charging on top of 100W wired fast charging. For most users, both phones will last a full day (or more) of heavy use. If you value wireless charging, media consumption, or just prefer the convenience, the F8 Ultra is definitely more versatile.

POCO F8 Pro

Performance

Both models use Qualcomm’s flagship-class chipsets from the 8-series lineage and deliver strong performance. But the Ultra model easily edges ahead thanks to the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, offering better GPU and CPU performance compared to the Snapdragon 8 Elite on the POCO F8 Pro. Long term performance for gaming, video editing, or even heavy daily use is better on the F8 Ultra, which is also more future proofed.

Price & Value

Given their specs and features, the F8 Pro is the more compact, lighter, and likely more affordable option. The POCO F8 Ultra basically has an advantage in every key area, but the F8 Pro still offers a robust set of features. It is ideal for those who prefer balanced performance in a manageable form factor. Meanwhile, the F8 Ultra, with its larger screen, premium features, better cameras, and richer audio, pushes toward a “flagship killer” category that comes at a higher price tag and increased size.

It is also $150 more expensive than the Pro variant with all of its upgrades. In other words, the POCO F8 Pro is a great balanced phone for everyday use with a competent set of hardware and specs, while the F8 Ultra brings a more premium flagship level experience for those with a higher budget.

POCO has officially unveiled the POCO F8 Pro on the global stage. This device has just debuted worldwide, bringing high end specs and features for an approachable price tag. The company just announced the POCO F8 Ultra, alongside the F8 Pro, so here are all the details for the more affordable F8 model.

POCO F8 Pro Global Launch: What does it offer?

The Chinese brand just announced the POCO F8 Pro with a 6.59-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 3500 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, this device is equipped with Qualcomm’s older flagship chip, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is coupled with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. A gigantic 6,210mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 100W wired fast charging. Notably, the POCO F8 Pro is basically a rebranded global version of the Redmi K90 that packs a larger 7,100mAh cell.

POCO F8 Pro

For optics, the rear has a 50MP Light Fusion main sensor (OIS, 1/1.55-inch) along with a 50MP telephoto shooter with a 2.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens, while the front houses a 20MP shooter for selfies and video calls. Other notable features included WiFi 7, Liquid Cool technology for thermal management, Android 16 OS based HyperOS 3 custom skin out of the box, 22.5W reverse wired charging, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

Pricing and Availability

The brand just announced the POCO F8 Pro in three color options, namely Black, Blue, and Titanium Silver. It has a starting price tag of $579 for the 12GB + 256GB model, while the 12GB + 512GB version costs $629. Although, the brand is offering a $50 discount for both variants as a part of an introductory launch offer, which brings down its effective price to just $529. It is worth noting that the deal is available only till December 10.

Poco has finally confirmed the Poco F8 series’ launch date. The below poster confirms that the next-generation F-series phone will be unveiled on Nov. 26 globally. The launch event will be held at Bali, Indonesia.

Poco F8 series: What to expect?

Poco F8 series launch date

The F8 series will include three models, namely the Poco F8, F8 Pro, and F8 Ultra. However, the F8 is unlikely to go official through the Nov. 26 event. The said event will only see the arrival of the F8 Pro and F8 Ultra.

According to reports, the Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra will be tweaked versions of the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max, which recently debuted in China. While the Poco models will pack the same design and internals as their Redmi counterparts, the F8 Pro and F8 Ultra are said to pack comparatively smaller batteries than the K90 and K90 Pro Max.

Poco F8 series specifications (expected)

The Poco F8 may feature a 6.59-inch OLED display, whereas the F8 Ultra could be equipped with a larger 6.9-inch OLED panel. Both phones are expected to offer a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The F8 duo will run on HyperOS 3-based Android 16.

The Poco F8 and F8 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and 8 Elite Gen 5 chipsets, respectively. Both phones will feature a 20-megapixel camera on the front. The Pro model’s rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.

The F8 Ultra’s rear camera will feature three 50-megapixel sensors for primary, ultra-wide, and periscope telephoto cameras. The F8 Ultra is also expected to feature an additional rear speaker apart from the usual top and bottom speakers. Both phones are likely to support 100W wired charging, with the Ultra edition also offering 50W wireless charging.

Original story continues…

Poco unveiled the Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra in March 2025. There have been reports suggesting that their successor may debut much earlier than expected. It appears this rumour is accurate, as Poco Hong Kong has released what seems to be the first official teaser for the Poco F8 series.

Poco F8 series officially teased

Poco F8 series teaser

Apart from releasing the above poster, Poco claimed that the upcoming device will not only feature the brand’s signature high-performance processor but also a completely new acoustic design. The company says this upgrade is intended to give users a smoother and more immersive gaming and multimedia experience directly on their phones.

While the brand has not revealed the name of the device, the teased design suggests that the company may soon launch the F8 series globally. Next month (December) will likely see the arrival of the Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra.

As per reports, the Poco F8 series will be a rebranded version of the China-exclusive Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max, with one major difference. It is speculated that the Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra will have smaller batteries compared to their Chinese counterparts.

The Poco F8 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, whereas its Ultra sibling will have the latest and more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

The series also reportedly includes the standard Poco F8, which may debut a bit later. This device is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, which is yet to launch in China.

The brand is also said to be working on the Poco Pad M1 tablet, which again is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro.

Poco is expected to soon unveil the Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra for the global market. The announcement does not seem to be far away as the F8 Ultra was seen at multiple certifications, and it was also spotted at Geekbench recently. Now, in a new development, even the Pro version has surfaced on the said benchmarking platform.

Poco F8 Pro Geekbench listing

Poco F8 Pro Geekbench listing

The above screenshot reveals that a new Xiaomi phone with model number 2510DPC44G has appeared in Geekbench’s database. The CPU and GPU details available in the listing suggest that it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The listing further mentions the device has 12GB of RAM and Android 16. It scored 2,288 and 8,494 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

There have been reports that the Poco F8 Pro could be a rebranded version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Redmi K90, which recently debuted in China. The Geekbench listing of the F8 Pro further hints that this assumption could be correct.

Reports have also claimed that there will be one major difference between the Poco F8 Pro and Redmi K90, which is in the battery department. While the K90 Pro has a massive 7,100mAh battery, the F8 Pro could be equipped with a smaller battery, but its exact size is not known yet.

Poco F8 Pro specifications (expected)

Likely, the Poco F8 Pro may arrive with a 6.59-inch OLED 1.5K 120Hz display, a 20-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 58-megapixel (2.5x telephoto) triple camera setup. It may come with 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB configurations and could be available in shades like black, blue, and silver.

The Poco F8 Ultra is expected to be based on the Redmi K90 Pro Max. According to leaker Paras Guglani, it will come with a smaller 6,500 mAh battery and fewer variants. The phone is likely to launch in two configurations: 12 GB RAM with 256 GB storage and 16 GB RAM with 512 GB storage. The 1 TB option available in China will not be released globally. Xiaomi is also said to reduce the color choices to Black and Denim Blue, while the Redmi K90 Pro Max offers more finishes.

Redmi K90 Pro Max

The Poco F8 Pro will follow the Redmi K90’s design but with similar limitations. It is expected to come only in 12 GB RAM variants paired with either 256 GB or 512 GB storage. The base 8 GB variant seen in the Poco F6 series will not return. Reports indicate that the Poco F8 Pro may also skip the 7,100 mAh battery used in the Redmi K90, possibly in favor of a slimmer profile. Expected color options include Black, Blue, and Titanium Silver.

Certification listings have already confirmed that the Poco F8 Pro is approaching its launch. The device has been spotted in the TDRA database in the UAE under model number 2510DPC44G, as well as in Singapore and Thailand. It is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a flagship-grade AMOLED display, and Bose-tuned audio.

The Poco F8 Pro is inching closer to launch, and the latest development comes from the TDRA certification database, confirming its upcoming debut in the UAE.

The listing follows earlier reports that the phone might ship without a charger in the box and feature Sound by Bose audio tuning.

According to the TDRA listing, the Poco F8 Pro carries the model number 2510DPC44G and is registered under the equipment registration number ER53041/25.

As usual, the listing doesn’t reveal any specifications. The device, however, is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K90, which launched in China in October 2025.

If that turns out to be true, we can expect the Poco F8 Pro to come with a flagship-grade AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and a Bose-tuned audio system.

Alongside the UAE listing, the device has also been spotted on IMDA (Singapore) and NBTC (Thailand) certification platforms, hinting at a wider global rollout soon.

Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G also makes its way to TRDA

Alongside the Poco, another Redmi device has also appeared in the TDRA database, believed to be the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G. This variant carries the model 25100RA69G and registration number ER53042/25.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G’s certification confirms its UAE release, following earlier sightings on EEC and IMDA. While its 5G counterpart has already gone official in China, the 4G version is likely an international-exclusive model.

With both the Poco F8 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G now certified, their official launches appear imminent. The certifications don’t offer much in terms of specs, but they do confirm Xiaomi’s sub-brands are gearing up for another round of global releases before the end of the year.

The Poco F8 Pro has just picked up its NBTC certification ahead of its launch in Thailand. But while that means the release is near, a new leak suggests something less exciting — the phone might skip a charging accessory in the box.

Word for this comes from tipster Abhishek Yadav on X, who claims the Poco F8 Pro will not include a charging brick. However, it’s not entirely new for Poco. The Poco X7 Pro and F7 also shipped without chargers in Europe, so this could be another region-specific move.

Yadav also shared an image of part of the retail box showing a “Sound by Bose” logo. That’s interesting because Xiaomi’s new Redmi K90 series carries the same branding.

Bose branding hints at Redmi K90 rebrand

Given Poco’s long history of rebadging Redmi’s K-series phones for global markets, this adds weight to speculation that the Poco F8 Pro could be a rebranded Redmi K90.

If that’s true, the F8 Pro could share the K90’s 6.59-inch 2K LTPO flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness.

Inside, the Redmi K90 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with an Adreno 830 GPU, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.

The camera system includes a 50MP Light Hunter 800 main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP 2.5x telephoto periscope lens. Up front, there’s a 20MP selfie camera.

Keeping things running is a large 7,100mAh battery with 100W fast charging. For audio, it has dual stereo speakers tuned by Bose. Other notable features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, and a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.

Just seven months after the Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra debuted, the company already appears to be moving ahead with the next generation — and a new certification suggests the rollout could happen much sooner than expected.

Earlier this month, the Poco F8 Ultra passed through Thailand’s NBTC certification process. Now, the Poco F8 Pro has joined it on the same database, signaling that both models are inching closer to an official unveiling. What’s unusual is the timing: the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra launched in March, but their certifications surfaced much later — the F7 Pro was approved in January, while the F7 Ultra didn’t get its approval until early March, just days before the big reveal. With the F8 series appearing this early, a 2025 release well ahead of March won’t be surprising.

Both phones also seem to be tracking together. Since the F8 Ultra and F8 Pro received approval just days apart, there’s a good chance Poco plans to unveil them side by side, mirroring last year’s strategy. (The standard F7 launched slightly later, so we may see a repeat of that staggered approach.)

As for what the phones actually are, that’s where things get interesting. The F8 Ultra is expected to be a rebranded Redmi K90 Pro Max. But the F8 Pro still remains a mystery — sort of. It can be a rebranded Redmi K90. Designing a phone from scratch takes time and resources, after all.

With both the F8 Pro and F8 Ultra cleared for Thailand and the launch window seemingly shifting forward, it’s only a matter of time before more information starts spilling out. If history is any indication, the leaks will only get louder from here.

Poco is reportedly developing the Poco F8 series for the global market, and its launch could happen sooner than expected. The F8 Ultra has already received an important certification, hinting that the lineup’s debut is near. The upcoming Poco F8 and F8 Pro are said to be rebranded versions of the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max, which were recently launched in China. However, a new post on X by tipster Kacper Skrzypek suggests that the global models will feature smaller batteries compared to their Chinese counterparts.

Poco F8 series battery sizes revealed

Redmi K90 Pro Max

After examining the HyperOS code, Skrzypek revealed that the Poco F8 Pro will come with a 6,210mAh battery, while the F8 Ultra will include a 6,500mAh battery. In comparison, the Redmi K90 series packs larger batteries, with the K90 featuring a 7,100mAh unit and the K90 Pro Max offering an even bigger 7,500mAh battery.

For reference, the Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra also had smaller batteries than the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro. Similarly, while the Poco F8 series will feature reduced battery capacities compared to the K90 lineup, the rest of their specifications are expected to remain identical.

The Poco F8 Pro may feature a 6.59-inch display, while the F8 Ultra could come with a larger 6.9-inch screen. Both models are expected to use OLED panels supporting 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. The F8 may include a standard dual-speaker setup, whereas the Ultra could offer a 2.1 audio system with an additional rear speaker for enhanced sound output.

The Poco F8 series is likely to ship with Android 16, customised with the HyperOS 3 interface. Under the hood, the F8 Pro may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, while the Ultra edition could run on the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Both models are expected to offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

In the camera department, the F8 Pro may feature a 20-megapixel front-facing camera, while the F8 Ultra could sport a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. On the rear, the F8 Pro is expected to include a triple-camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel (OmniVision Light Fusion 800, OIS) main sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary lens, and a 50-megapixel (2.5x telephoto, OIS) sensor.

The F8 Ultra, on the other hand, may feature a 50-megapixel (OmniVision Light Fusion 950, OIS) primary sensor, alongside two additional 50-megapixel lenses, including a 3.5x periscope telephoto lens with OIS support. Both phones are expected to feature a metal middle frame and carry an IP68/69 rating, making them resistant to dust and water.

The lineup is expected to include multiple models, such as the Poco F8, F8 Pro, and F8 Ultra. Like the F7 series, the Pro and Ultra models may debut early in 2026, whereas the standard F8 may break cover in Q2 2026. Ahead of the expected launch timeframe, the alleged Poco F8 Pro has surfaced in GSMA’s IMEI database.

According to XiaomiTime, a Poco phone bearing the model number 2510DPC44G has appeared in the IMEI database. At present, there is no India variant, which indicates that the device may not launch in the country.

Recently, a Xiaomi phone with the model number 2510DRK44C bagged 3C certification in China. The device, which was spotted with a 100W charger, is expected to debut as the Redmi K90 by the end of October this year.

The Poco F7 Pro was a rebranded version of the China-exclusive Redmi K80. Therefore, while the K90 may remain confined to the Chinese market, it could debut globally as the Poco F8 Pro.

Redmi K90 Pro / Poco F8 Pro specifications (rumored)

As per reports, the Redmi K90 is expected to launch with the forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. It may feature a 6.59-inch flat RGB OLED LTPS display with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Security is likely handled by an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. Powering the device could be a 7,100mAh battery with 100W fast charging. Other highlights include dual stereo speakers, a premium metal mid-frame, and an x-axis linear motor. The Poco F8 Pro, being a rebranded version, may pack the same specs.

The Poco F8 Ultra is yet to appear in the IMEI database. This device is expected to be a rebadged version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered Redmi K90 Pro.

Redmi unveiled the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro in November last year in China. The rebranded versions of these phones, with monikers Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra, were released globally in February this year. Redmi and Poco are expected to use the same strategy for the Redmi K90 series and Poco F8 lineup. This has become all the more evident through the IMEI database listings of these devices.

Redmi K80 Pro

Two Redmi phones with model numbers 2510DRK44C and 25102RKBEC have emerged in the IMEI database. The internal codes of these devices are P11 and P11U, and their codenames are Annibale and Myron. The IMEI database listings have not revealed the final marketing names of these devices. However, they are expected to be called the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro, respectively, when they hit the Chinese market in October this year.

At the same time, two Poco smartphones with model numbers 2510DPC44G and 25102PCBEG have also surfaced in the IMEI database. These devices are said to be called the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra when they launch globally next year. Their internal codes and codenames are the same as the K90 and K90 Pro. It should be noted that the exact names of the F8 models have not surfaced in the IMEI database.

The Redmi K90 and Poco F8 Pro are expected to feature last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite (first generation). On the other hand, the K90 Pro and F8 Ultra are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, which is likely to debut in September this year.

The Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra may launch in the first quarter of 2026. The lineup may also include the standard Poco F8. It is likely that the F8 could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, which is expected to debut in Q2 2026.
