<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/poco-f9-ultra">Poco F9 Ultra</a> has now launched globally alongside the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/poco-f9-pro">Poco F9 Pro</a>, giving buyers another performance-focused flagship option with a large battery and high-end hardware. The F9 Ultra is aimed primarily at users who prioritize raw performance, gaming and battery endurance rather than camera capabilities alone.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="600" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/Poco-F9-Ultra-1.png?x96852" alt="Poco F9 Ultra" class="wp-image-752217" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/Poco-F9-Ultra-1.png 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/Poco-F9-Ultra-1-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/Poco-F9-Ultra-1-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/Poco-F9-Ultra-1-420x420.png 420w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /><figcaption>Poco F9 Ultra</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>It comes with top-notch specs, such as a 6.9-inch OLED 1.5K 185Hz screen, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and an 8,050mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. For photography, it has a 200-megapixel + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 50-megapixel (3x periscope) setup and a 50-megapixel front camera. While it runs on HyperOS based on Android 16, its users are entitled to receive four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates.</p>

<p>That focus makes some conventional flagship phones less relevant as alternatives. Samsung&#8217;s Galaxy S26 series and Apple&#8217;s iPhone lineup, for example, offer excellent cameras and polished software but generally come with smaller batteries. With that in mind, we have focused this list on performance-oriented phones that combine powerful chipsets, large batteries, fast charging and gaming-friendly displays.</p>

<div class="linkops-readmore" style="border-left:4px solid #e63946;background:#f7f7f8;padding:12px 16px;margin:22px 0;border-radius:4px;"><span style="display:block;color:#e63946;text-transform:uppercase;font-size:12px;font-weight:700;letter-spacing:.5px;margin-bottom:4px;">Also Read</span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/07/09/5-best-alternatives-to-the-xiaomi-17t-pro/?ref=rm-752215-r0" style="font-weight:600;text-decoration:none;color:#1a1a1a;">5 best alternatives to the Xiaomi 17T Pro</a></div>

<h2><strong>OnePlus 15</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="686" height="686" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/ONePlus-15-back.jpg?x96852" alt="OnePlus 15" class="wp-image-708744" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/ONePlus-15-back.jpg 686w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/ONePlus-15-back-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/ONePlus-15-back-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/ONePlus-15-back-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 686px) 100vw, 686px" /><figcaption>OnePlus 15</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>A performance flagship built for gaming and heavy everyday use.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-15/">OnePlus 15</a> is one of the closest alternatives to the Poco F9 Ultra for buyers who want flagship performance without opting for a dedicated gaming phone. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with LPDDR5X Ultra+ RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.</p>

<p>The phone packs a 7,300mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. Its large capacity should provide plenty of endurance for gaming and other demanding workloads, while the fast charging support makes it easy to top up quickly.</p>

<p>On the front is a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz during gaming. The triple rear camera system includes three 50-megapixel sensors, with a main, ultrawide and 3.5x periscope telephoto camera.</p>

<p>The OnePlus 15 runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. OnePlus promises four major Android upgrades and six years of security updates, making it a strong choice for users who want performance with long-term software support.</p>

<h2><strong>iQOO 15</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="768" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/iQOO-15-halo-1024x768.jpg?x96852" alt="iQOO 15" class="wp-image-718809" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/iQOO-15-halo-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/iQOO-15-halo-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/iQOO-15-halo-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/iQOO-15-halo-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/iQOO-15-halo-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/iQOO-15-halo-1068x801.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/iQOO-15-halo-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/iQOO-15-halo-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/iQOO-15-halo-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/iQOO-15-halo.jpg 1796w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>iQOO 15</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>A gaming-friendly flagship with dedicated performance hardware.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-iqoo-15/">iQOO 15</a> uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 alongside the dedicated Supercomputing Chip Q3 for graphics processing and gaming. An 8K vapor chamber cooling system is also included to help manage temperatures during demanding sessions.</p>

<p>Its 6.85-inch Samsung 2K M14 LEAD OLED display supports a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 6,000 nits of local peak brightness. This combination makes it well suited to both high-frame-rate gaming and media consumption.</p>

<p>The phone carries a 7,000mAh silicon-anode battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. It also has three 50-megapixel rear cameras, including a Sony IMX921 main sensor and a Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.</p>

<p>The iQOO 15 runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and is promised five major Android OS upgrades and seven years of security patches. Its combination of gaming hardware and long software support makes it a compelling alternative.</p>

<h2><strong>OnePlus 15R</strong></h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="768" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_03-1024x768.jpg?x96852" alt="OnePlus 15R" class="wp-image-721583" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_03-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_03-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_03-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_03-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_03-1068x801.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_03-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_03-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_03-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/OnePlus_15R_Review_GizmoChina_03.jpg 1440w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>A performance-focused phone with a huge battery and ultra-fast display.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-15R">OnePlus 15R</a> is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and comes with up to 16GB of RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. This makes it well equipped for demanding games and heavy multitasking without stepping into dedicated gaming-phone territory.</p>

<p>Its 6.83-inch AMOLED display has a 1272&#215;2800 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HDR Vivid. The panel can reach 3,600 nits peak brightness, while Gorilla Glass 7i provides protection.</p>

<p>The phone is preloaded with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 and is promised four years of major Android OS updates and six years of security patches. The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and an 8-megapixel 112-degree ultrawide camera, while the front has a 32-megapixel autofocus selfie camera.</p>

<p>The 15R packs a huge 7,400mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is larger than the cells found in many conventional flagships. It supports 80W wired charging.</p>

<h2><strong>Oppo Find X9s 5G</strong></h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="768" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG20260521162529-1024x768.jpg?x96852" alt="Oppo Find X9s" class="wp-image-739272" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG20260521162529-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG20260521162529-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG20260521162529-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG20260521162529-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG20260521162529-2048x1536.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG20260521162529-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG20260521162529-1068x801.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG20260521162529-1920x1440.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG20260521162529-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG20260521162529-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/IMG20260521162529-265x198.jpg 265w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Oppo Find X9s</figcaption></figure>

<p>A compact flagship that combines strong performance with capable cameras.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-find-x9s">Oppo Find X9s 5G</a> is powered by the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, while UFS 4.1 storage is available with up to 12GB of RAM. The phone features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K-class 1256&#215;2760 resolution and up to 3,600 nits peak brightness.</p>

<p>Battery life is handled by a 7,025mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W wired charging. The camera setup is more ambitious than what you typically find on performance-first phones, with three 50-megapixel rear cameras, including a 3x optical telephoto camera and an ultrawide sensor. Hasselblad color calibration is also included. There’s a 32-megapixel camera with autofocus support on the front.</p>

<p>The Find X9s 5G runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, with five years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. This phone offers the best of both worlds: performance and photography.</p>

<h2><strong>Redmi K100 Pro Max</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="707" height="454" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/REDMI-K100-Pro-Max.jpg?x96852" alt="Redmi K100 Pro Max" class="wp-image-748754" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/REDMI-K100-Pro-Max.jpg 707w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/REDMI-K100-Pro-Max-300x193.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/REDMI-K100-Pro-Max-696x447.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/REDMI-K100-Pro-Max-654x420.jpg 654w" sizes="(max-width: 707px) 100vw, 707px" /><figcaption>Redmi K100 Pro Max</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The closest hardware alternative to the Poco F9 Ultra.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k100-pro-max">Redmi K100 Pro Max</a> is a China-exclusive flagship that can still be purchased internationally through import retailers such as <a href="https://www.giztop.com/redmi-k90-pro-max.html">Giztop</a>. It is particularly interesting here because it shares essentially the same core hardware as the Poco F9 Ultra.</p>

<p>Its 9,070mAh battery is actually larger than the Poco F9 Ultra&#8217;s 8,050mAh unit, giving the Redmi model an edge in raw battery capacity. The rest of the specs are the same on both devices.</p>

<div class="linkops-readmore" style="border-left:4px solid #e63946;background:#f7f7f8;padding:12px 16px;margin:22px 0;border-radius:4px;"><span style="display:block;color:#e63946;text-transform:uppercase;font-size:12px;font-weight:700;letter-spacing:.5px;margin-bottom:4px;">Also Read</span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/08/15/redmi-k100-pro-max-top-5-alternatives/?ref=rm-752215-r1" style="font-weight:600;text-decoration:none;color:#1a1a1a;">Top 5 alternatives to the Redmi K100 Pro Max in 2026</a></div>

<p>The K100 Pro Max runs Xiaomi&#8217;s HyperOS based on Android. However, buyers importing it should consider software localization, network compatibility and after-sales support. For those who want similar hardware to the Poco F9 Ultra, it remains one of the most obvious alternatives.</p>

<p>Beyond these five, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-gt-8-pro">Realme GT 8 Pro</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-find-x9">Oppo Find X9 5G</a> are also worth considering in the same broad category. Neither is as widely available in every market, but both offer a strong combination of flagship performance and capable cameras. They may therefore be better choices for users who want a more balanced flagship experience rather than prioritizing battery life and gaming above everything else.</p>

Its WildBoost Engine can adjust performance and power consumption depending on the game. The display supports refresh rates of up to 185Hz, and Poco says more than 20 games can make use of frame rates up to 185fps.</p>

<p>A high-end Xiaomi device has shown up in benchmark testing. It offers an early look at what is expected to become the next flagship under the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/poco/">Poco</a> brand.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/poco-f9-ultra-1024x576.jpg?x96852" alt="" class="wp-image-750258" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/poco-f9-ultra-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/poco-f9-ultra-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/poco-f9-ultra-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/poco-f9-ultra-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/poco-f9-ultra-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/poco-f9-ultra-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/poco-f9-ultra.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>A Xiaomi phone with the model number 26077PC53G has appeared in the Geekbench database. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, this is the upcoming Poco F9 Ultra. The listing shows it’s powered by Qualcomm’s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/03/20/snapdragon-8-elite-gen-5-phones-list/">Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5</a> chipset paired with an Adreno 840 GPU. In the test it scored 2,980 in single-core and 10,030 in multi-core. The phone is also confirmed to come with 16GB of RAM and run Android 16.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="570" height="735" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Screenshot-2026-08-21-161142.png?x96852" alt="" class="wp-image-750257" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Screenshot-2026-08-21-161142.png 570w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Screenshot-2026-08-21-161142-233x300.png 233w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Screenshot-2026-08-21-161142-326x420.png 326w" sizes="(max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px" /></figure></div>

<p>These numbers put it firmly among the current top performers in Android. Previous rumors suggest the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/08/13/poco-f9-pro-f9-ultra-specifications-price-leak/">Poco F9 Ultra</a> is basically a global rebranded version of the REDMI K100 Pro Max, though with a slightly smaller 8,050mAh battery. The display is expected to be a 6.9&#8243; AMOLED panel with a 1200 × 2608 resolution, 185Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness up to 4,500 nits.</p>

<div class="linkops-readmore" style="border-left:4px solid #e63946;background:#f7f7f8;padding:12px 16px;margin:22px 0;border-radius:4px;"><span style="display:block;color:#e63946;text-transform:uppercase;font-size:12px;font-weight:700;letter-spacing:.5px;margin-bottom:4px;">Also Read</span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/07/14/5-best-snapdragon-8-elite-gen-5-phones/?ref=rm-750256-r0" style="font-weight:600;text-decoration:none;color:#1a1a1a;">5 Best Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Phones (July 2026)</a></div>

<p>On the camera side, the phone is rumored to pack a 200MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50MP periscope telephoto, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 32MP front camera. These specs line up with the high-end positioning of recent Redmi K-series Pro Max models that usually get adapted for international markets under the Poco name.</p>

<p>No official announcement or pricing details have been shared yet. The Geekbench appearance does confirm that development is well advanced and that the device is already going through performance validation. Once it launches, the Poco F9 Ultra is expected to compete in the premium segment by offering flagship-level processing power, a high-refresh-rate display, and a versatile camera system at a price aimed at people who want strong performance without paying the absolute top flagship rates.</p>

<p>More details should emerge as the phone gets closer to its official reveal.</p>

<p>A gaming-first flagship built around extreme performance and dedicated cooling hardware.</p>

<p>For buyers who care more about gaming performance than photography, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/zte-nubia-redmagic-11s-pro/">RedMagic 11S Pro</a> is one of the closest alternatives to the Redmi K100 Pro Max. It combines a higher-clocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version with the dedicated RedCore R4 gaming chip, which handles functions such as audio processing and haptic feedback so that the main processor can concentrate on demanding workloads. A 7,500mAh battery with 80W wired and wireless charging keeps the phone running through extended gaming sessions.</p>

<p>Thermal management is a major part of the package, with a 24,000rpm turbo fan, liquid-metal cooling and a 13,116-square-millimeter vapor chamber. The phone also has pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers for gaming. Its AMOLED display offers a 144Hz refresh rate, while the under-display 16-megapixel selfie camera keeps the front panel free from a conventional cutout. <h2><strong>Poco F9 Ultra</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="999" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Poco-F-series-999x1024.webp?x96852" alt="Poco F9" class="wp-image-749039" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Poco-F-series-999x1024.webp 999w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Poco-F-series-293x300.webp 293w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Poco-F-series-768x787.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Poco-F-series-1499x1536.webp 1499w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Poco-F-series-1999x2048.webp 1999w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Poco-F-series-696x713.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Poco-F-series-1068x1094.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Poco-F-series-1920x1967.webp 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Poco-F-series-410x420.webp 410w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/Poco-F-series-356x364.webp 356w" sizes="(max-width: 999px) 100vw, 999px" /><figcaption>Poco F9 Ultra </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>An upcoming option that could be the closest alternative because it is essentially the same hardware platform in a different package.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/08/13/poco-f9-pro-f9-ultra-specifications-price-leak/">Poco F9 Ultra</a> is the unusual entry on this list because it has not been released yet. Its inclusion makes sense because the phone is expected to be based on the Redmi K100 Pro Max, meaning much of the core hardware is expected to remain unchanged. The main reported difference is an 8,050mAh battery, which would still give it a substantial capacity for a flagship smartphone.</p>

<p>The F9 Ultra is therefore expected to retain the performance-focused hardware, display and camera characteristics associated with the Redmi model, while carrying Poco&#8217;s software and branding. The existing F8 Ultra received four major Android OS upgrades and six years of security patches, setting a useful benchmark for what could be expected from its successor. For anyone specifically interested in the K100 Pro Max but concerned about availability, the F9 Ultra could ultimately be the most interesting alternative.</p>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>Which of these five phones would you pick over the Redmi K100 Pro Max, and what matters most to you in a performance-focused flagship?</p>

<p>In recent weeks, the upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/pcoo">Poco</a> F9 series has been spotted on certification platforms such as IMDA (Singapore) and SDPPI (<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/07/23/poco-f9-ultra-poco-f9-pro-vivo-x500-global-bag-fresh-certifications-launching-soon/">Indonesia</a>), indicating that it may debut in the next few months. Reports suggest that the Poco F9 Ultra and F9 Pro will be rebranded versions of the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, which recently launched in China. However, a new development reveals that the Poco F9 duo will arrive with some major changes in the battery department compared to their Redmi counterparts.</p>

<h2><strong>Poco F9 Ultra, Poco F9 Pro battery, charging details emerge</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="707" height="454" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/REDMI-K100-Pro-Max.jpg?x96852" alt="Redmi K100 Pro Max" class="wp-image-748754" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/REDMI-K100-Pro-Max.jpg 707w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/REDMI-K100-Pro-Max-300x193.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/REDMI-K100-Pro-Max-696x447.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/REDMI-K100-Pro-Max-654x420.jpg 654w" sizes="(max-width: 707px) 100vw, 707px" /><figcaption>Redmi K100 Pro Max</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Reliable tipster Kacper Skrzypek has <a href="https://x.com/kacskrz/status/2087197350204707022">scoured</a> through the HyperOS code to reveal the battery sizes and charging capabilities of the F9 series. He has revealed that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/poco-f9-ultra">Poco F9 Ultra</a> will house an 8,050mAh battery, whereas the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/poco-f9-pro">F9 Pro</a> will pack a 6,330mAh battery.</p>

<p>In comparison, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k100-pro-max">Redmi K100 Pro Max</a> has a 9,070mAh battery, whereas the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k100-pro">K100 Pro</a> features an 8,580mAh battery. While there is a major change in the battery department, there is no change in charging capabilities, as the Poco models support 100W charging like their Redmi siblings.</p>

<p>The tipster did not specify the other specifications of the Poco F9 Ultra and F9 Pro, but they are expected to remain identical to those of the Redmi models.</p>

<h3><strong>Poco F9 Ultra, F9 Pro specifications (expected)</strong></h3>

<p>The Poco F9 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED panel, while the Pro edition could be equipped with a 6.59-inch screen. Both phones are expected to support a 1.5K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate. Both models may feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V-series chip and offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.</p>

<p>For selfies, both Poco F9 series phones may house a 32-megapixel front camera. On the back, both models may feature a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 main camera. While the F9 Ultra&#8217;s rear camera module may also include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, the Pro edition&#8217;s rear setup may comprise an 8-megapixel ultra-wide snapper and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 2.5x optical zoom.</p>

While it shares most of its specifications with the regular Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Qualcomm appears to be positioning it differently, with a greater emphasis on gaming.</p>

<h3><strong>Same performance, but gaming takes centre stage</strong></h3>

<p>According to Qualcomm&#8217;s official product brief, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V-series chip (SM8850-1-AB) features the same CPU and GPU configuration as the regular 4.6GHz Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It includes two Oryon prime cores clocked at up to 4.6GHz, six performance cores running at up to 3.62GHz, and an Adreno GPU operating at 1.2GHz. The chipset also retains the same Hexagon NPU, X85 5G modem, FastConnect 7900 connectivity system, LPDDR5X memory support, UFS 4.1 storage compatibility, and Qualcomm Spectra ISP found on the standard variant.</p>

<p>The only documented hardware difference between the two versions is Adreno High Performance Memory (HPM). The regular Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 features 18MB of dedicated Adreno HPM, whereas the SM8850-1-AB includes 12MB. Aside from this, Qualcomm lists the same core hardware specifications for both chipsets.</p>

<p>The new gaming-focused version joins three other Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 variants already available. The SM8850-AC is the standard version used in most flagship smartphones, while the SM8850-1-AD is the higher-clocked edition found in Samsung flagship devices as well as Red Magic and Legion gaming phones. Qualcomm also offers the SM8850-5-AC, a 7-core variant powering the Oppo Find N6 foldable. With the arrival of the SM8850-1-AB, Qualcomm now offers manufacturers another option for flagship phones that prioritize gaming performance without changing the platform&#8217;s core CPU and GPU frequencies.</p>

<p>While Qualcomm promotes the regular and the new SM8850-1-AB variants with the tagline &#8220;Game smarter, not harder,&#8221; the official documentation show that gaming technologies such as Tile Memory Heap, Mesh Shading, Unreal Engine 5 optimizations, Snapdragon Game Super Resolution 2.0, Adreno Frame Motion Engine 3.0, and hardware-accelerated ray tracing are also available on the regular Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.</p>

<p>The Redmi K100 Pro series, which is set to launch on Aug. 11 in China, will be the first smartphone lineup to feature this new chipset variant. It remains to be seen whether more brands adopt the gaming-optimized platform in upcoming flagship devices. What seems certain is that the Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra, which will be rebranded versions of the K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, will feature the same chip.</p>

<h3><strong>Poco F9 Ultra, Poco F9 Pro global launch may be near</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="983" height="291" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/Poco-F9-Pro-and-F9-Ultra-IMDA-listing.png?x96852" alt="Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra IMDA listing" class="wp-image-746225" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/Poco-F9-Pro-and-F9-Ultra-IMDA-listing.png 983w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/Poco-F9-Pro-and-F9-Ultra-IMDA-listing-300x89.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/Poco-F9-Pro-and-F9-Ultra-IMDA-listing-768x227.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/Poco-F9-Pro-and-F9-Ultra-IMDA-listing-696x206.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 983px) 100vw, 983px" /><figcaption>Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra IMDA listings</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The GSMA IMEI database listings reveal that the upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/poco-f9-pro">Poco F9 Pro</a> carries the model number 2607APCA5G, while the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/poco-f9-ultra">Poco F9 Ultra</a> has the model number 26077PC53G. These devices are expected to launch globally, including in the EEA, Turkey, Indonesia, Taiwan, Russia, and Japan. While India is a major market for Poco, it is unlikely to receive the F9 Pro and F9 Ultra.</p>

<p>Apart from surfacing in the IMEI database, both devices have also appeared on Indonesia&#8217;s SDPPI and Singapore&#8217;s IMDA certification platforms. This is earlier than expected, considering that the Poco F8 Ultra and F8 Pro were spotted on IMDA and Thailand&#8217;s NBTC certification platform in October before going official in November.</p>

<div style="border-left:4px solid #e63946;background:#f7f7f8;padding:12px 16px;margin:22px 0;border-radius:4px;"><span style="display:block;color:#e63946;text-transform:uppercase;font-size:12px;font-weight:700;letter-spacing:.5px;margin-bottom:4px;">Also Read</span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/07/14/5-best-snapdragon-8-elite-gen-5-phones/" style="font-weight:600;text-decoration:none;color:#1a1a1a;">5 Best Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Phones (July 2026)</a></div>

<p>The Redmi K100 series is expected to debut in China in August. Since the Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra are expected to be based on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-K100">Redmi K100</a> series, the F9 lineup could break cover globally as early as October.</p>

<h3><strong>Vivo X500 certified in Indonesia</strong></h3>

<figure class="wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Vivo X500 (V2619) also appears in Indonesia&#39;s SDPPI, confirming the name for the first time. <a href="https://x.com/hashtag/Vivo?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Vivo</a> <a href="https://x.com/hashtag/VivoX500?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#VivoX500</a> <a href="https://t.co/5gdt8pceQM">https://t.co/5gdt8pceQM</a> <a href="https://t.co/4kKosZRtkd">pic.twitter.com/4kKosZRtkd</a></p>&mdash; Anvin (@ZionsAnvin) <a href="https://x.com/ZionsAnvin/status/2080140641930297744?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">July 23, 2026</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.x.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p>A recent report revealed that the global version of the Vivo X500 has appeared in the GSMA IMEI database. More recently, the Vivo X500 Pro Max was approved by Indonesia&#8217;s TKDN certification platform, and now the Vivo X500 has also surfaced in the same database. In addition, the X500, carrying the model number V2610, has appeared on Indonesia&#8217;s SDPPI certification platform.</p>

<p>For those unaware, the TKDN certification measures the percentage of locally sourced Indonesian components in a product, while the SDPPI certification confirms that a device complies with Indonesia&#8217;s telecommunications and radio equipment standards before it can be sold in the country.</p>

<p>As usual, none of these certifications reveal any specifications. However, since the global Vivo X500 models have already started appearing on certification platforms, it appears that their global launch could take place around a month after the China debut, which is expected in September.</p>

<p>Speculations are rife that after <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> unveils the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-18">Xiaomi 18</a> series in September this year in China, its sub-brand <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/redmi">Redmi</a> may announce the Redmi K100 series in October. The lineup is expected to include two models initially, such as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi%20K100">Redmi K100</a> and K100 Pro Max. Recent leaks have revealed a few details about the Pro Max variant. Now, in a new leak, tipster Digital Chat Station has mentioned key information about its chipset, RAM, storage, and more.</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi K100 Pro Max’s key details tipped</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="387" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-108-1024x387.png?x96852" alt="" class="wp-image-731544" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-108-1024x387.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-108-300x114.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-108-768x291.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-108-696x263.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-108-1068x404.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-108-1110x420.png 1110w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/image-108.png 1176w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>In a new Weibo post, DCS has shared details of a new sub-series performance flagship from Xiaomi. While he has not specified the name of the device, it appears to be the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi%20K100-pro-max">Redmi K100 Pro Max</a>. According to the leak, the device may feature a next-generation 2nm Snapdragon flagship chipset, tentatively dubbed the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-elite-gen-6-pro">Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro</a>, alongside up to 16GB LPDDR6 RAM and 1TB storage.</p>

<p>The focus appears to be on delivering strong core performance and an upgraded display experience, while imaging is said to remain at a standard flagship level rather than a major upgrade. Overall, the device is tipped to offer a more balanced package in its segment, prioritizing performance, memory, and screen improvements over camera enhancements.</p>

<p>While DCS has claimed that the K100 Pro Max&#8217;s camera setup will not have a major upgrade, a previous leak by the same source suggested that the Redmi K100 Pro Max may feature <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/09/redmi-k100-pro-max-poco-f9-ultra-200mp-camera-leak/">a 200-megapixel main camera</a>, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.</p>

<p>Globally, this phone may get <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/09/redmi-k100-pro-max-poco-f9-ultra-200mp-camera-leak/">rebranded as the Poco F9 Ultra</a>. It is expected to launch along with the Poco F9 Pro (rebranded version of K100) in the first quarter of 2027.</p>

<p>Various smartphones across different brands launching this year are expected to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/01/25/all-200mp-camera-phones-2026-existing-upcoming/">feature 200-megapixel cameras</a>. Earlier today, it was reported that the Xiaomi 18 Pro series may feature dual 200-megapixel cameras. Now, a new leak reveals that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/redmi">Redmi</a> K100 series may also include a 200-megapixel camera.</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi K100 Pro Max may receive a major camera boost</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="991" height="215" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-48.png?x96852" alt="" class="wp-image-726265" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-48.png 991w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-48-300x65.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-48-768x167.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-48-696x151.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 991px) 100vw, 991px" /><figcaption>Redmi K100 series to feature 200MP camera</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The above leak by tipster Smart Pikachu reveals that another sub-brand lineup is aiming higher and may adopt 200-megapixel and periscope cameras. The hashtag used in the leak suggests that it pertains to the Redmi K100 series.</p>

<p>The Redmi K100 series is initially expected to include two models, the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, as successors to last year’s Redmi K90 Pro and Redmi K90 Pro Max. To recall, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k90-pro/">Pro</a> edition features a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 50-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit, whereas the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k90-pro-max/">Pro Max</a> has a 50-megapixel (main) + 50-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 50-megapixel (periscope telephoto) triple camera setup.</p>

<p>If a 200-megapixel camera is to arrive on the Redmi K100 series, the Pro Max model is likely to be the ideal candidate to receive it. It is still unclear whether the Pro Max edition will feature a 200-megapixel primary camera or a periscope telephoto camera.</p>

<h3><strong>Poco F8 Ultra rebranding</strong></h3>

<p>Just as the Redmi K90 Pro Max was rebranded as the Poco F8 Ultra globally, the Poco F9 Ultra may launch in the global market as a renamed version of the K100 Pro Max. Therefore, it is likely that the F9 Ultra could be the first <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/poco">Poco</a> phone to feature a 200-megapixel camera. The Poco F9 series is likley to debut in the first quarter of 2027.</p>
