However, the Redmi Note 9 series, which was introduced only a month prior to the </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/04/27/miui-12-launched-all-new-features-and-supported-devices/"><span style="font-weight: 400">MIUI 12 event</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> has started to receive the update only now.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">That said, the MIUI 12 update for POCO M2 Pro </span><a href="https://t.me/xiaomi_global_community/137"><span style="font-weight: 400">comes</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> with build number </span><b>V12.0.1.0.QJPINXM</b><span style="font-weight: 400">. On the other hand, the one for Redmi Note 9 Pro Max </span><a href="https://t.me/xiaomi_global_community/135"><span style="font-weight: 400">bears</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> the build number </span><b>V12.0.1.0.QJXINXM</b><span style="font-weight: 400">.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The update for both of these phones is currently being rolled out to random users. In </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Xiaomi/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Xiaomi</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">’s words, the builds are at present in “Stable Beta” form. That means even if you have the ROM file, you cannot install it through system updater.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Hence, if you have any of these two devices, all you can do is wait for the company to extend the rollout to more units.</span></p>
