The smartphone will be unveiled on 29th April 2022 and will apparently be sold exclusively through Flipkart.com, a popular Indian e-commerce platform. Furthermore, the tweet reads &#8220;y<span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">ou’re about to witness the </span><span class="r-18u37iz"><a class="css-4rbku5 css-18t94o4 css-901oao css-16my406 r-1cvl2hr r-1loqt21 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0" role="link" href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/KillerLooksOPPerformer?src=hashtag_click">#KillerLooksOPPerformer</a></span><span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0"> for yourself,&#8221; so it is clear that the company is placing a focus on performance and design.</span></p>

The M4 5G will reportedly sport a 6.58 inch LCD panel that has a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. On the front, the device might feature a 5 megapixel selfie shooter, while the rear houses a 50 megapixel primary lens paired with a 2 megapixel depth sensor. <p>New details shared by tipster Mukul Sharma with <a href="https://www.mysmartprice.com/gear/poco-m4-launch-specifications-tipped/">MySmartPrice</a> reveal that the POCO M4 will be launched in February globally, with highlight features being its 64MP primary camera and 90Hz display.</p>
<p>While there is little info provided about its chipset other than it being from MediaTek, it is expected to be a 5G-supporting one. Nevertheless, a number of specifications concerning other departments of the device have actually been shared by the tipster.</p>
<figure id="attachment_408926" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-408926" style="width: 772px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-408926" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/POCO-M3-Cameras-Featured-A.png?x23692" alt="POCO M3 Cameras Featured A" width="772" height="515" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/POCO-M3-Cameras-Featured-A.png 772w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/POCO-M3-Cameras-Featured-A-300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/POCO-M3-Cameras-Featured-A-768x512.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/POCO-M3-Cameras-Featured-A-696x464.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/POCO-M3-Cameras-Featured-A-630x420.png 630w" sizes="(max-width: 772px) 100vw, 772px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-408926" class="wp-caption-text">POCO M3</figcaption></figure>
<p>Starting with photography, the POCO M4 will feature a triple-camera setup comprised of a 64MP OV64B40 sensor, an 8MP IMX355 sensor, and a 2MP OV2A lens. The display will likely be an LCD panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz. And finally, on the software front, the POCO M4 will likely be booting into Android 11 out of the box, layered with MIUI 12.5 atop &#8212; a bummer considering Android 12 and even <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/12/28/xiaomi-miui-13-launch-features/">MIUI 13</a> is out now.</p>
<p>That said, now that news of the POCO M4 being under development is now out, we should be seeing more of the leaks and even official teasers dropping soon.</p>
<p>POCO had very recently in November 2021 launched the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/12/06/poco-m4-pro-vs-redmi-note-10s-vs-redmi-note-10-5g-specs-comparison/">POCO M4 Pro</a>. The device came with a camera module stretched across its width, making its rear-end look very similar to that of the POCO M3. It is thus possible that the vanilla POCO M4 will also be sporting a similar design since it has now become something of POCO&#8217;s fashion statement.</p>
