<h3><strong>Display</strong></h3>

<p>The Poco M7 Pro 5G is expected to feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of 2100 nits. This would make it one of the brightest screens in its segment, ensuring excellent outdoor visibility and a vibrant visual experience. The display is anticipated to support HDR10+ for superior contrast and color reproduction, making it ideal for video streaming and gaming. It is also expected to come with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a 92.02% screen-to-body ratio with ultra-slim bezels.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/vivo/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco</a> is likely to include TUV triple certification and an SGS eye care display, designed to reduce blue light emissions for comfortable prolonged usage. The high screen-to-body ratio and narrow bezels are expected to enhance the immersive experience further.</p>

<h3><strong>Performance</strong></h3>

<p>Under the hood, the Poco M7 Pro 5G is expected to be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/mediatek/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MediaTek</a> Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC. <p>Poco is also expected to commit to two major OS updates and four years of security updates, ensuring the device remains relevant and secure for years to come.</p>

<h3><strong>Camera</strong></h3>

<p>For photography enthusiasts, the Poco M7 Pro 5G is expected to be a compelling option. It is rumored to feature a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a wide f/1.5 aperture, potentially making it one of the most capable cameras in its segment for low-light photography.</p>

<p>The camera setup is likely to be complemented by AI-powered features such as AI Night Mode and AI Zoom, aimed at ensuring detailed and vibrant photos with ease. On the front, the device is anticipated to include a 20MP sensor, promising sharp and clear selfies.</p>

<h3><strong>Battery</strong></h3>

<p>Poco M7 Pro 5G is expected to feature a 5110mAh battery. It is also rumored to support 45W fast charging, allowing for quick recharges and minimal downtime.</p>

<h3><strong>Additional Features</strong></h3>

<p>The phone is also expected to come equipped with a range of additional features to enhance the overall experience. It is rumored to include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, a 3.5mm headphone jack to cater to audiophiles, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security.</p>

The M7 Pro 5G excels in photography with its advanced sensor and aperture, complemented by AI-powered features that simplify the process of capturing and editing stunning photos. <p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/poco/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco</a> is launching two new phones in India on December 17th — the Poco M7 Pro and Poco C75 5G. This is not to be confused with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-poco-c75/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">C75</a>, which Poco launched in October as a 4G model with a Helio G81 SoC.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="352" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Poco-M7-Pro-and-C75-5G-launch-date.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-663487" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Poco-M7-Pro-and-C75-5G-launch-date.jpg 352w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Poco-M7-Pro-and-C75-5G-launch-date-176x300.jpg 176w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Poco-M7-Pro-and-C75-5G-launch-date-246x420.jpg 246w" sizes="(max-width: 352px) 100vw, 352px" /></figure></div>

<p>Both the M7 Pro and C75 5G will be available in India through Flipkart. As with most releases, the company has started teasing the phones&#8217; specs ahead of the launch. Here’s what has been revealed so far.</p>

<h3><strong>Poco M7 Pro</strong></h3>

<p>The Poco M7 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This panel offers a peak brightness of 2,100 nits for improved outdoor visibility and supports HDR10+. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 provides protection.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="534" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Poco-M7-Pro-cameras.jpg?x44794" alt="Poco M7 Pro cameras" class="wp-image-663491" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Poco-M7-Pro-cameras.jpg 534w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Poco-M7-Pro-cameras-267x300.jpg 267w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Poco-M7-Pro-cameras-374x420.jpg 374w" sizes="(max-width: 534px) 100vw, 534px" /></figure></div>

<p>Poco remains tight-lipped about the exact processor on the machine. The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor as its primary lens, accompanied by optical image stabilization (OIS).&nbsp; A 20MP sensor handles selfie duties. The Flipkart listings also confirm a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port.</p>

<h3><strong>Poco C75 5G</strong></h3>

<p>The Poco C75 is a more budget-friendly option with 5G support. It borrows the same design as its 4G counterpart and will be powered by the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. While the storage option is under wrap, but its confirmed to have microSD card support.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Poco-C75-5G-processor.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-663488" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Poco-C75-5G-processor.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Poco-C75-5G-processor-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Poco-C75-5G-processor-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Poco-C75-5G-processor-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Poco-C75-5G-processor-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>Moreover, Poco claims the C75 5G will be the only phone in its segment to feature a Sony camera. It will also include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and run Android 14 with Poco&#8217;s custom HyperOS skin.</p>

<p>Additionally, Poco promises &#8220;2+4 Years Updates&#8221; for the C75 5G, which means two years of major OS upgrades and four years of security patches. According to a <a href="https://www.gsmarena.com/poco_m7_pro_c75_5g_cameras_price_segment-news-65655.php" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">GSMArena report</a>, the phone will be priced under Rs 9,000 in India.</p>

<p>POCO is working on a new mid range smartphone from its M series. The device in question is the POCO M7 Pro 5G, which recently surfaced on a fresh certification. This sighting hints at its imminent launch so here&#8217;s everything we know so far.</p>

<h2>POCO M7 Pro 5G Visits Indonesia&#8217;s SDPPI</h2>

<p>The Chinese smartphone maker&#8217;s POCO M7 Pro 5G was spotted in Indonesia&#8217;s SDPPI certification platform (Via <em><a href="https://www.thetechoutlook.com/tech-whispers/poco-m7-pro-5g-now-spotted-on-another-certification-check-details-inside/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">TheTechOutlook</a></em>). It was seen carrying the 2409FPCC4G model number, with the &#8220;G&#8221; likely referring to the global variant. As the name suggests, it is likely the successor to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/08/05/poco-m6-pro-5g-with-snapdragon-4-gen-2-soc-launched-in-india/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">POCO M6 Pro 5G</a> that launched back in 2023. The POCO M7 Pro 5G was seen in multiple certifications recently, and the SDPPI sighting hints at its imminent global release.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design1.jpg?x44794" alt="Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design1" class="wp-image-648724" width="676" height="451" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design1.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design1-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design1-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design1-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design1-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 676px) 100vw, 676px" /></figure></div>

<p>Unfortunately, the Indonesian certification does not reveal any finer details like its specs or features. Although it does confirm its POCO M7 Pro 5G moniker. Back in September 2024, the POCO M7 Pro 5G had its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/09/05/poco-m7-specs-and-design-leaks-via-fcc-certification/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">design and certain specs revealed via FCC</a>. The smartphone can be seen with a dual tone rear panel with a green marble like finish. The upcoming budget phone can also be seen with a dual camera setup housed in a rectangular module. That listing confirmed support for basic connectivity options like NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi, and 5G NR bands. </p>

<p>The smartphone might be a cutdown variant of the Redmi Note 14 5G. So we could get a 50-megapixel main camera on the rear, while the front sports a 1.5K AMOLED display. Under the hood, it might be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. This device should run on the company&#8217;s Android OS based HyperOS custom skin out of the box and offer at least 128GB of base internal storage. Keep in mind that POCO has yet to make any official announcement about the POCO M7 Pro 5G, so stay tuned for more updates.</p>

<p>The Poco M7 Pro 5G appears to be on the cusp of global launch as the phone has surfaced on the FCC website.&nbsp;</p>

<p>First spotted by <em><a href="https://www.91mobiles.com/hub/poco-m7-pro-5g-fcc-design-revealed/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">91mobiles</a></em>, the FCC listing confirms the model number (2409FPCC4G) and the &#8220;Pro&#8221; moniker for the upcoming Poco phone. As expected, the phone will be the successor to the POCO M6 Pro 5G, which was launched last year. </p>

<p>The FCC filing reveals a few details. The phone will run Xiaomi&#8217;s HyperOS 1.0, the successor to MIUI, and will include NFC support for contactless payments. Storage-wise, the listing mentions 128GB, likely the base model option.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" data-id="648729"  src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-FCC-certification-2.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-648729" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-FCC-certification-2.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-FCC-certification-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-FCC-certification-2-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-FCC-certification-2-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-FCC-certification-2-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure>
</figure>

<p>Perhaps most interesting are the leaked images showcasing the phone&#8217;s design. It ditches the M6 Pro&#8217;s wide camera strip for a more conventional square module housing just two sensors. The back features a two-tone, green marble-like finish, with other color options likely on the way.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped">
<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" data-id="648724"  src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design1.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-648724" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design1.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design1-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design1-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design1-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design1-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" data-id="648723"  src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-648723" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Poco-M7-Pro-5G-Design-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure>
</figure>

<p>Details via the FCC documents also hint that the POCO M7 Pro 5G might simply be a rebranded <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/08/31/redmi-note-14-5g-global-model-fcc-certification/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Note 14 5G</a>. A page on the document mentions &#8220;Redmi Global version has three cameras, while the Poco Global version has two cameras.&#8221;</p>

<p>This suggests the phones could be identical except for the camera setup. The Note 14 5G will have a triple-lens rear array and Poco will only have two, potentially sacrificing a camera for a lower price point.</p>

<p>Beyond the camera situation, rumors point that the Redmi Note 14 5G will have a 1.5K AMOLED display, a 50MP primary camera (which could change based on the rebranding), and a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset for processing power. We can also expect these specs on the M7 Pro 5G.</p>

<p>The<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-poco-m6-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Poco M6 Pro</a> launched in August last year, so we can expect the Poco M7 Pro to launch anytime soon. So keep an eye out if you&#8217;re in the market for a budget-friendly 5G phone.</p>

<p>Redmi 13 5G has now been spotted on 3C certification, having previously visited the FCC website. In fact, the specifications of Redmi 13 are actually no secret; we shared the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/04/18/redmi-13-5g-aka-poco-m7-5g-early-details-surface-india-launch-is-highly-likely/">spec-sheet of Redmi 13 5G</a> with you before the phone was not unveiled. If you want to read more about the specs of Redmi 13, you can refer to our previous article.</p>

<h2>Redmi 13 5G to debut soon</h2>

<p>Xiaomi&#8217;s new budget-friendly model, Redmi 13 5G, will be introduced as POCO M7 Pro 5G in India, with both phones sharing the same spec sheet. Redmi 13 5G appears with the model number <strong>2406ERN9CC</strong> on the 3C certification, confirming the <strong>33W</strong> charging support for Redmi 13 5G.</p>

<figcaption class="blocks-gallery-caption">Redmi 13 5G &#8211; 3C certification</figcaption></figure>

<p>The codename of the upcoming smartphone is &#8220;<strong>breeze</strong>,&#8221; with an internal number of <strong>N19</strong>, while the model number of the upcoming phone&#8217;s rebrand, <strong>POCO M7 Pro 5G</strong>, is <strong>24066PC95I</strong>.</p>

<p>In fact, Redmi 13 5G does not bring significant advancements compared to Redmi 12 5G, as the upcoming smartphone shares the same specs with its predecessor. Redmi 12 5G had a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, and <strong>Redmi 13 5G</strong> will also come with <strong>Snapdragon 4 Gen 2</strong>, which is a low-end processor manufactured using Qualcomm&#8217;s 4nm process. The phone will feature a<strong> 5000 mAh </strong>battery and <strong>33W</strong> charging.</p>

<p>Note that both Redmi and POCO phones will be available for sale <em>only in <strong>India</strong> and <strong>China</strong></em>, and these devices will not be introduced to the global market. While Redmi 12 5G was launched globally, it seems a bit different for Redmi 13 5G.</p>
