While the phone is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/07/19/poco-x3-gt-launch-date-set-for-july-28/">scheduled to go on floors tomorrow, i.e. July 28</a>, some details of the handset are already available on the internet. Today, in this piece, we are rounding up all the rumors surfaced so far about the Poco X3 GT, giving you a clear idea of what to expect.</p>
<h2><strong>Poco X3 GT Rumor Roundup: What to Expect? </strong></h2>
<p><strong>Moniker, Design, and Display </strong></p>
<p>Back in May, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/06/01/poco-x3-gt-could-be-in-works-for-india-could-it-be-a-rebranded-redmi-phone/">initial rumors</a> about the Poco X3 GT arrived in leaks. A popular Mi tipster named Kacper Skrzypek revealed that a Poco gaming phone with the moniker &#8216;Poco X3 GT&#8217; could be in the works.</p>
<p>Later, the tipster revealed that the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/06/03/chinas-redmi-note-10-pro-5g-will-launch-as-the-poco-x3-gt-for-global-markets/"> Poco X3 GT is nothing but a rebranded Redmi Note 10 Pro (Chinese model) </a>for the Malaysian market. Soon after this confirmation, leaks started to get some pace and the device bagged multiple certifications.</p>
<figure id="attachment_402400" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-402400" style="width: 1200px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-402400 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Poco-X3-GT.jpg?x44794" alt="Poco X3 GT" width="1200" height="630" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Poco-X3-GT.jpg 1200w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Poco-X3-GT-300x158.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Poco-X3-GT-768x403.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Poco-X3-GT-1024x538.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Poco-X3-GT-696x365.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Poco-X3-GT-1068x561.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Poco-X3-GT-800x420.jpg 800w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-402400" class="wp-caption-text">Image Courtesy &#8211; 91Mobiles</figcaption></figure>
<p>Recently, renders of the X3 GT appeared online, which reaffirmed that it will be indeed a rebadged Redmi phone. Adding to it, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/07/26/poco-x3-gt-unboxing-video-emerge-major-specs-reveals/">an unboxing video</a> from popular Indian YouTuber Technical Guruji took wraps off its design and box contents.</p>
<p>The smartphone will sport a 6.67-inch punch-hole display with a Full-HD+ resolution. It is expected to be an IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz high screen refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display will have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.</p>
<p><strong>Cameras on the Poco X3 GT</strong></p>
<p>In terms of cameras, the smartphone will flaunt a unique rear camera island. It will be a rectangular island placed vertically holding three camera lenses. It will be led by a 64MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and lastly a 2MP macro unit.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-402402 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/poco-x3-gt-camera.png?x44794" alt="poco x3 gt camera" width="897" height="474" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/poco-x3-gt-camera.png 897w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/poco-x3-gt-camera-300x159.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/poco-x3-gt-camera-768x406.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/poco-x3-gt-camera-696x368.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/poco-x3-gt-camera-795x420.png 795w" sizes="(max-width: 897px) 100vw, 897px" /></p>
<p>At the front, it will boast a single selfie camera placed at the top center. It will be a 16MP camera unit.</p>
<p><strong>Hardware and Software </strong></p>
<p>The most interesting thing from the specs sheet of the X3 GT has to be its hardware. After bagging various certifications, it was confirmed that the device will be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-1100/">MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC</a>. For those who are unaware, the Dimensity 1100 is a premium chipset from MediaTek that stands below the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-1200/">Dimensity 1200</a> that powered its recently-launched sibling, the Poco F3 GT.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-402403 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/poco-x3-gt-2.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="1200" height="675" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/poco-x3-gt-2.jpg 1200w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/poco-x3-gt-2-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/poco-x3-gt-2-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/poco-x3-gt-2-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/poco-x3-gt-2-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/poco-x3-gt-2-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/poco-x3-gt-2-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></p>
<p>It is expected to launch with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It will also have a microSD card slot for additional storage. As for the battery, it was spotted with a 5,000mAh battery cell and is expected to have a 67W fast charging support.</p>
<p>The device will feature a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security. According to a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/07/16/poco-x3-gt-miui-12-5-builds-go-live-before-official-launch/">recent leak,</a> the phone will run on MIUI 12.5 UI based on Android 11 OS out of the box.</p>
<p><strong>Color variants of the smartphone </strong></p>
<p>Renders confirmed that the phone will arrive in three color variants &#8211; Green, Black, and White. Two of these colors, the Green and White variants, will have a textured back.</p>
<p><strong>Pricing and Availability</strong></p>
<p>Since the Poco X3 GT will be a rebranded <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-10-pro-china/">Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G</a>, it is expected to come at a similar price range to that of the Note 10 Pro 5G. The Note 10 Pro 5G arrived at CNY 1,499(~$230) for the base variant and was priced at CNY 1,799(~$276) for the top variant.</p>
