The Vivo phone is currently available at a starting price of Rs. 33,999 for the 8GB/128GB base variant and goes up to Rs. 37,999 for the top-end model with 12GB RAM. However, competitors are offering more powerful smartphones at similar pricing.

The handset is the most affordable of all in the series. Hence, it offers downgraded specs compared to the original two phones.

Also, the product was originally released as Redmi Note 13R Pro in China in November.

The Poco X6 Neo features a flat frame design. Its rear cameras are placed vertically on a large rectangular island.

The POCO X6 Neo is confirmed to launch in India on March 13 at 12 pm local time. Flipkart has also put up a microsite of the upcoming offering revealing its design and key details. The smartphone is seen with flat edges and an elongated rectangular camera island on the rear. The latter has two sensors headlined by a confirmed 108MP primary lens and an LED flash unit. 

On the front, the POCO X6 Neo has a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout. It is said to offer a 93.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. The brand teases the upcoming device with a bezel-less design and a 7.69mm extra thin body.

The POCO X6 Neo has a model number 2312FRAFDI (where the last initial represents India) on the Geekbench database. It is listed with a motherboard codenamed ‘gold’ and it comprises of six cores at 2GHz and two cores ticking at 2.40GHz. This suggests that the device could be powered by a Dimensity 6080 processor. The listing reveals 12GB RAM and we could expect more variants at launch. It will ship with Android 14 OS out of the box.

As per leaks, there is a third device in the lineup called Poco X6 Neo. This phone’s launch timeline was recently tipped.

Now, yet another source reiterates the same timeline. They also disclose when can we expect the Poco F6.

According to tech influencer Yogesh Brar, the Poco X6 Neo will launch in India by March. This piece of information goes in line with the previous leak.

Additionally, he reveals that the Poco F6 will make its way to the country in July. Unfortunately, he does not have any further info on this handset.

On the other hand, it is already known that the Poco X6 Neo is a rebranded Redmi Note 13R Pro. Hence, we know everything about this product, except for its pricing.

The Poco X6 Neo will be built around a 6.67-inch centered puch-hole FHD+ OLED display. This panel will support up to a 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, and 1920Hz PWM dimming.

The smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC. The chipset will be paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

On the rear, there will be a 108MP primary camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor. While the front of the device will be fitted with a 16MP selfie camera.

Other features of the phone will include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, a 5,000mAh battery, and 33W charging support.

Xiaomi is apparently planning on launching a new smartphone model in India soon from its POCO sub brand. The device in question is the POCO X6 Neo, which is rumored to launch next month. So here is everything we know so far.

POCO X6 Neo India Launch

The news arrives from the tipster @saaaanjjjuuu who shared the information on X (formerly Twitter). He claimed that the Chinese smartphone maker is planning on releasing the POCO X6 Neo in the region next month. This means that the release is set for sometime in March 2024. Apart from this, the tipster also revealed the key specs and pricing details of the upcoming device.

This model could sport a tall 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers 120Hz refresh. Under the hood, it is reportedly equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC. Sanju claims that the new smartphone will be powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 33W wired fast charging. Other notable features include IP54 rating for water and dust resistance and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Lastly, the POCO X6 Neo’s pricing was also tipped in this tweet. This model is expected to be priced around 15,000 INR (roughly 180 US Dollars). Although, the smartphone may launch under the 15,000 INR mark as well. For those unaware, the POCO X6 Neo is expected to be a rebranded Redmi Note 13R Pro since both carry similar model numbers. Xiaomi is apparently gearing up to launch a new POCO smartphone model in India soon. The device in question was spotted on an Indian certification platform and is expected to be a part of the upcoming POCO X6 series, dubbed the X6 Neo.

POCO X6 Neo visits BIS

The POCO X6 Neo model surfaced on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification platform. Looking at the online listing, the smartphone carries the model number “2312FRAFDI”. This appears to be quite similar to the model number of the Redmi Note 13R Pro (2311FRAFDC), which means that the POCO X6 Neo could be a rebranded version of this device.

Previously, the X6 Neo and the Redmi Note 13 5G were spotted on MIUI code and now the former has surfaced on BIS. In other words, the smartphone will likely launch in the Indian market soon. In our earlier report, we also talked about how both the POCO X6 Neo and the Redmi Note 13R Pro will be arriving in the Indian market. The Redmi Note 13R Pro was just announced in the company’s home market of China, which offers us a glipse of some of its key specs.

Xiaomi‘s sub-brand Redmi is expected to launch a new addition to its Note 13 series in China, the Redmi Note 13R Pro. Leaked information now suggests that this device will also be released in India under the name Poco X6 Neo.

Reliable Xiaomi tipster Kacper Skrzypek revealed this information on Twitter, along with a screenshot that displays the Poco X6 Neo moniker. This suggests that the Poco X6 Neo will be the first device in Poco’s lineup to carry the Neo branding.

The screenshot also unveils the Poco X6 Neo’s model number, “2312FRAFDI”, with the ‘I’ signifying its Indian variant. This aligns with model number “2311FRAFDC” assigned to the Redmi Note 13R Pro, further corroborating the rebranding.

Furthermore, the Poco X6 Neo’s codename, ‘gold,’ matches that of the Redmi Note 13 5G, indicating that the three smartphones will share similar specifications. Kacper also asserts that the Poco X6 Neo will boast a 64MP primary camera.

While an official launch date remains unannounced, we can expect to learn more about the Poco X6 Neo in the coming days.
