The Polestar Cake Makka E-Moped Limited Edition has been unveiled in a sky-blue design. The electric moped is the culmination of the collaboration between Polestar and Cake. This comes after the release of the snow matte e-moped. The exterior color of the Polestar Cake Makka is similar to that of the Polestar electric roadster. The model comes as a limited-edition offering.

Polestar is one of the e-car sub-brands of Geely while Cake is a Swedish scooter manufacturer. The first collaborative e-car of the duo was launched in 2021. The first model was exclusively available as the Polestar Snow Matte edition. It was quickly sold out, with its lightweight design catching the attention of the market.

The moped was designed to draw fans of both the Polestar 2 and Cake’s scooters. The new Cake Makka Polestar Edition e-moped comes with LED headlights and dampers. It has a removable luggage rack which allows for several flexible configurations. The options include boxes, luggage racks, pillion seats, and more.

The Cake Makka Polestar Edition weighs 70kg and has top speed options of 45km/h and 25km/h depending on the setting. It is powered by a 2.8kW electric motor and the 1.4kWh battery offers a range of 54km. The new e-moped can be charged via its 10A charger from 80% in 2 hours. This means that you can quickly re-energize the e-car when idle at work or elsewhere.

The e-moped will be marketed by Cake but the Polestar Edition is exclusively available in select markets. It can be purchased via the Polestar Additionals webshop from December 14.

The retail price of the Cake Makka Polestar Limited Edition e-moped is €5,300 (~$5,660). The selected markets where the e-moped will be available include the US, Canada, Sweden, Germany, and other countries in the Eurozone. It is also available in the United Kingdom.
