Portronics has announced a smart writing pad named the Ruffpad 15M in India. One of the key features of the device is that it comes equipped with a large color display. Another good thing about it is that it allows users to save drawings and notes by using a smartphone app. Hence, the Ruffpad 15M is a significant effort to reduce paper waste by providing a big, colourful display panel with the ability to save and share your work via a smartphone app.

Portronics Ruffpad 15M specifications and features

The Portronics Ruffpad 15M has a 15-inch LCD panel, which can display vibrant colors. The stylus that accompanies the device has a rubber tip that offers a smooth experience while writing and drawing on the LCD screen.

A 3V user-replaceable coin cell that can last for several months, according to the company, powers the smart pad. There is a single button on the front for quick erasing. A smart lock switch is available onboard to prevent accidental erasing.

To save the drawings or writings on a smartphone, one can use the Ruffpad app, which can be found in the Android and iOS app stores. It has a thickness of 6.6mm and weighs around 340 grams. Since it is a very lightweight writing pad, one can easily carry it in a backpack.
