Tecno has been actively launching new phones in India.  Earlier this month, the company introduced the new variant of the Tecno Spark 8T and it unveiled the Camon 18 handset last week. It has now started teasing the arrival of the Spark 8 Pro in India. A fresh leak reveals that the POVA Neo, which debuted in African markets earlier this month, will be heading to India in January 2022.

Passionate Geekz has shared the first poster of the POVA Neo handset for India. Popular Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana can be seen endorsing the upcoming POVA series phone. The poster reveals that the handset will come in black and blue colors.

The poster further reveals that the Tecno POVA Neo will be equipped with a massive 6.8-inch display and a 6,000mAh battery. It will ship with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of native storage. The images of the phone available in the poster reveal that the POVA Neo will offer other features like a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB-C port.

It appears that the company may offer a free pair of earbuds worth Rs 1,499 to the buyers of the POVA Neo.  As far as launch date is concerned, the publication claims that it will break cover in January 2022 in India.

Tecno POVA Neo specifications

The Tecno POVA Neo has a 6.8-inch LCD HD+ waterdrop notch display, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 13-megapixel + AI lens dual-camera system. The device runs on HiOS 7.6 based Android 11 and is powered by the Helio P22 chipset. It comes with support for 18W charging for its 6,000mAh battery.
