Some praised the new design and the cheap pricing of the device while some criticized the use of Helio X25 chipset inside. Given that LeEco released the<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/04/20/le-2-le-2-pro-le-max-2-announced-three-ditch-3-5mm-audio-jack/"> Le 2 Pro variant with Helio X25 for just 1499 yuan ($232)</a>, Pro 6 seems like a costly option now. The Meizu flagship starts at 2499 Yuan ($384), almost $150 higher than the Le 2 Pro running on the same chip.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-82045" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/meizu-pro-6-exynos-8890-leak.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu pro 6 exynos 8890 leak" width="360" height="640" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/meizu-pro-6-exynos-8890-leak.jpg 360w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/meizu-pro-6-exynos-8890-leak-169x300.jpg 169w" sizes="(max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px" /></p>
<p>But it looks like the Pro 6 could have a real &#8220;Pro&#8221; variant, which could take on the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/03/18/xiaomi-mi-5-pro-edition-coming-soon/">top flagships in the market right </a>now. According to a leaked screenshot circulating on the internet, the Meizu Pro 6 flagship was seen running on the Exynos 8890 chipset. Given that Meizu has had a good relationship with Samsung in the past, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/09/23/meizu-pro-5-flagship-announced-with-the-powerful-exynos-7420-21mp-camera/">providing chipsets for a number of Meizu flagships until this year</a>, it is possible that the company decided to use the Samsung&#8217;s best chipset yet, the Exynos 8890 inside a powerful variant of the Pro 6. Other features of this variant leaked by the image include 4GB of RAM, 160 grams weight and Android 6.0.</p>
<p>If Meizu is really working on an Exynos 8890 Pro 6 variant, we could see another major upgrade &#8212; UFS 2.0 standard. The current version of the Pro 6 had to use eMMC 5.1 storage standard because Mediatek Helio X20 / X25 does not support UFS 2.0. But with a new chip on board, the company could easily upgrade the memory to the new and faster standard.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-78999" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-official-02-e1460537423979.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu pro 6 official 02" width="949" height="959" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-official-02-e1460537423979.jpg 949w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-official-02-e1460537423979-297x300.jpg 297w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-official-02-e1460537423979-768x776.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-official-02-e1460537423979-600x606.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 949px) 100vw, 949px" /></p>
<p>Unfortunately, this information is derived from a leaked photo online, of which the authenticity cannot be ascertained at the moment. However, we would really like to see an Exynos powered Pro 6 this year, as it would give the new flagship a much-needed power boost.</p>
<p>What do you think? Should Meizu release a Pro 6 variant with Exynos 8890?</p>

Given that top-end smartphones tend to have the best hardware underneath, it becomes necessary for the phone to feature a battery which is large and charges as fast as possible. Meizu will soon be unveiling its Pro 6 flagship smartphone on April 13 and the company confirmed today that the phone will come with fast charging technology. However, there&#8217;s more, the company hints that this tech makes sure that the phone&#8217;s battery is not damaged during the process. The teaser says, &#8220;They (companies) tell you the fastest charging times, why do they not mention the life of the battery?&#8221;.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-78736" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-mcharge-2.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu mcharge 2" width="600" height="805" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-mcharge-2.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-mcharge-2-224x300.jpg 224w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>Meizu Pro 6 could be using its own fast charging technology dubbed as mCharge (this could be mCharge 2.0) which ensures that the battery inside the phone is not damaged. Or it could use Mediatek&#8217;s PE (Pump Express) fast charging and utilize some kind of battery protection technology. Whatever the case maybe, this teaser confirms that the phone will have some kind of tech to ensure the protection of the battery.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-78550" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-01.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu pro 6 black version" width="1024" height="653" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-01.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-01-300x191.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-01-768x490.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-01-600x383.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></p>
<p>There are a lot of fast charging technologies currently available in the market, like Qualcomm&#8217;s Quick Charge, Mediatek&#8217;s Pump Express and even OPPO&#8217;s Super VOOC fast charge. The first two charging technologies use high voltage to speed up the charging process. High voltage often leads to heat generation, which is not good news for your battery life. On the other hand, OPPO&#8217;s VOOC fast charging uses a low-voltage 5V charger to ensure that the heat is kept to a minimum and the life of the battery is not adversely affected. Well, Meizu&#8217;s new Pro 6 could come with a similar charging tech as OPPO, using low voltage.</p>

<p>We are just two days away from the official unveiling of the Pro 6 handset. So, we should get more details about its charging technology at the event.</p>

The phone is going to be one of the most important products for the company in 2016 and naturally, we can expect some great tech on the device. We already know that the phone will feature the new Helio X25 chip as well as 3D Touch like pressure sensitive display. Now, latest rumors reveal that the Pro 6 will feature a powerful ring flash at the back.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-78550" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-01.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu pro 6 black version" width="1024" height="653" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-01.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-01-300x191.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-01-768x490.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-01-600x383.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></p>
<p>Thanks to the renders released directly by the company CEO, we know that there was a unique flash setup at the back, with probably a Laser Autofocus at the center.  Now, the rumors state that Pro 6 will come with ring flash tech which will feature 10 flashes. This would really make night time shooting with the device easier.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/8CBAAFD.jpg?x44794" rel="attachment wp-att-78685"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-78685" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/8CBAAFD.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu pro 6" width="550" height="324" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/8CBAAFD.jpg 550w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/8CBAAFD-300x177.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px" /></a></p>
<p>Like mentioned above, there will Laser Autofocus in between which will reportedly be better than traditional ones. The combination of these two will reportedly help the Pro 6 capture impressive night time photos. Unfortunately, as of now, Meizu is yet to confirm such a setup. So, we will have to wait for some official details to confirm it.</p>

<p>As for the other specs, the Pro 6 is confirmed to come with <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/03/16/meizu-pro-6-confirmed-worlds-first-phone-helio-x25-chip/">Helio X25 chip</a> which is a slightly upgraded version of the Helio X20 chip. The display will be a <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/03/30/meizu-vp-confirms-3d-touch-pro-6-flagship-better-huawei/">pressure sensitive one</a>, again confirmed by company VP and will reportedly be better than the ones provided by Huawei. Other possible features of the phone include 4GB of RAM, and 5.2-inch 1080p display.</p>
<p>The Pro 6 launch event is just five days away, so we can expect more details in the next few days. Stay tuned!</p>

The maximum we will hear from the company is about a couple of features that too via teasers. But Meizu is not your regular smartphone company. Time and again, Meizu&#8217;s executives have surprised us all by revealing important details about its upcoming device much, much before the official launch. In fact, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/03/16/alleged-leaked-images-of-the-iphone-7-are-actually-of-meizu-pro-6-claims-vp/">Meizu&#8217;s VP Li Nan had already shown us</a> an image of the upcoming Meizu Pro 6 flagship smartphone featuring a unique antenna design.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-78550" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-01.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu pro 6 black version" width="1024" height="653" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-01.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-01-300x191.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-01-768x490.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/meizu-pro-6-01-600x383.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></p>
<p>But if you thought that the image from Li Nan was not good enough, take a look at this picture posted directly by the Meizu CEO, Huang himself. He also confirmed that this is the Meizu Pro 6 flagship in black and the device in the picture is actually an engineering model.</p>
<p>Well, this confirms the earlier renders and leaks we have seen about the Pro 6. But before we take a closer look at the phone, can&#8217;t we all agree that the Pro 6 in black just looks so beautiful. Further, the CEO said that the phone looks a bit thick in the picture, but in reality, it&#8217;s slimmer.</p>
<p>As for the image revealed today, it confirms the ring flash like design that was shows off by previous renders. We can expect Laser Auto Focus at the center with the ring flash around it. The camera seems to fit in perfectly with the design (not protruding). The phone also has a unique antenna design which was first confirmed by VP Li Nan in an earlier post.</p>
<figure id="attachment_77355" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-77355" style="width: 600px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-77355" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-01.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu pro 6 leak 01" width="600" height="278" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-01.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-01-300x139.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-77355" class="wp-caption-text">earlier leaked pro 6 image</figcaption></figure>
<p>Overall, the phone looks beautiful. And with the new Helio X25 chip inside, it won&#8217;t disappoint us in terms of performance as well. So, the Meizu Pro 6 flagship is shaping up to be a powerful smartphone with good looks. If the company executives continue with the tradition of revealing important details about the device, we will soon know a lot about the phone well before its launch.</p>

Given that in the past few months, pressure sensitive display seemed to be one of the highlights of the device, this news came as a surprise.</p>
<p>Usually, the company or its executives do not comment on rumors, but in the case of Meizu, we have seen some surprises. This time, it was Meizu&#8217;s VP, Li Nan who confirmed that the Pro 6 flagship will come with a pressure sensitive display.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-77652" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-pro-6-3d-touch.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu pro 6 3d touch" width="690" height="1227" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-pro-6-3d-touch.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-pro-6-3d-touch-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-pro-6-3d-touch-576x1024.jpg 576w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-pro-6-3d-touch-600x1067.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></p>
<p>He further added that the Pro 6 will support multi-stage pressure sensitive display which will ensure better touch experience. Also, the feature will support third party menus pictures, url previews and so on. He also revealed an image to further confirm the presence of the feature on the device. And the image shows that the feature would be similar to Apple&#8217;s 3D Touch.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-77651" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-pro-6-3d-touch-preview.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu pro 6 3d touch preview" width="690" height="1227" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-pro-6-3d-touch-preview.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-pro-6-3d-touch-preview-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-pro-6-3d-touch-preview-576x1024.jpg 576w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-pro-6-3d-touch-preview-600x1067.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></p>
<p>Previously, it was reported that the company decided to cancel pressure sensitive display on the upcoming flagship because it was too difficult to implement it to a level similar to Apple&#8217;s 3D Touch. However, it looks like that&#8217;s not an issue anymore.</p>
<p>Previous leaks have given us a good idea about the design and the specs of the Pro 6 flagship. The <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/03/27/meizu-pro-6-real-device-leaked-unique-rear-camera-module/">phone is supposed to come with a dual antenna design and a unique rear camera module</a>. The phone will launch sometime in the second half of the year, with Helio X25 chip on board. Other possible specs include a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 21MP rear camera with Laser Autofocus and a 5MP front facing shooter. As per the latest rumors, the pricing will be <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/03/22/meizus-internal-mail-reveals-possible-pricing-pro-6-flagship/">quite high, around $460</a>.</p>

Thanks to a post from the company VP Li Nan, we know that the phone will come with a unique antenna design.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-77355" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-01.jpg?x44794" alt="pro 6 01" width="600" height="278" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-01.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-01-300x139.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>Now, we have a closer look at the Meizu Pro 6 real life images, thanks to a new leak. The new images make things a bit more confusing because it reveals a dual antenna design at the back, on the top as well as the bottom. On the other hand, the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/03/18/meizu-pro-6-renders-leaked-confirms-unique-antenna-design/">earlier renders</a> of the phone featured a single antenna line only at the bottom.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-77350" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-07.jpg?x44794" alt="pro 6 07" width="600" height="280" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-07.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-07-300x140.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>Moving on, another interesting feature revealed by these new images is the camera at the back. You will find a large camera, along with some kind of sensor just below it. From the design, it&#8217;s possible that the Pro 6 will come with Laser Autofocus with a ring flash. However, we can&#8217;t confirm this until we get more details about the device.</p>

<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-09.jpg?x44794'><img width="403" height="503" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-09.jpg?x44794" class="attachment-large size-large" alt="" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-09.jpg 403w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-09-240x300.jpg 240w" sizes="(max-width: 403px) 100vw, 403px" /></a>
<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-05.jpg?x44794'><img width="600" height="278" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-05.jpg?x44794" class="attachment-large size-large" alt="meizu pro 6 side leak" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-05.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/pro-6-05-300x139.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a>

<p>Today&#8217;s leak also shows us that all the ports are located at the bottom of the phone. You will find a USB Type-C port, headphone jack, speakers as well as a microphone opening at the bottom. Although we can&#8217;t see the top of the device, it could be clean, or there could a sensor like IR port along with another microphone opening up there. Coming to the front, we can see what looks like 2.5D glass along with a physical home button which most likely integrates a fingerprint sensor. The volume and power buttons are located on the right side of the device.</p>

We have seen the device in a couple of benchmark apps like AnTuTu and the performance of the phone has been quite impressive. Now, a screenshot of an internal mail sent by Meizu&#8217;s VP Li Nan reveals the pricing for the phone.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-76599" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/s_63ada613fccb4f8bb4d648ef18839b50.jpg?x44794" alt="s_63ada613fccb4f8bb4d648ef18839b50.jpg" width="600" height="273" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/s_63ada613fccb4f8bb4d648ef18839b50.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/s_63ada613fccb4f8bb4d648ef18839b50-300x137.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>According to the leaked mail, the Meizu Pro 6 flagship could be priced at 2999 Yuan which comes to around $462. When compared to rivals such as the Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro, this is much more costlier. The Pro variant of the Mi 5 retails for an official price tag of 2699 Yuan ($415), which is a good $45 less than this figure.</p>
<p>Thanks to the recent <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/03/21/meizu-pro-6-helio-x25-scores-nearly-100k-antutu/">AnTuTu listing of the Meizu Pro 6</a> smartphone, we know the specs of the device. The phone is confirmed to feature the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/03/16/meizu-pro-6-confirmed-worlds-first-phone-helio-x25-chip/">Helio X25 deca-core processor</a> (upgraded variant of the Helio X20) and this chip will be exclusive to the device for a few months.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-76543" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-pro-6-antutu-benchmark-specs.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu pro 6 antutu benchmark specs" width="600" height="950" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-pro-6-antutu-benchmark-specs.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-pro-6-antutu-benchmark-specs-189x300.jpg 189w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>Apart from the powerful specs, the Meizu Pro 6 smartphone will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There will be a 21MP rear camera sensor and a 5MP front facing shooter. The screen size is unknown at the moment, but the resolution will be 1080 FHD. Finally, the phone will be running on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.</p>
<p>Do you think these specs are comparable to Xiaomi Mi 5 which is way cheaper? I mean, the Mi 5 standard version managed to score about 106K on AnTuTu <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/03/13/xiaomi-mi5-review-beast-smartphone/">during our review</a>. On the other hand, today&#8217;s AnTuTu listing showed that the Meizu Pro 6 scored nearly 100K. And this particular model featuring 3GB of RAM costs almost $150 less than the rumored price of $460 for the Pro 6.</p>
<p>So, do you think the 2999 Yuan ($460) price tag for the Meizu Pro 6 will be a bit too high?</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Meizu CEO Huang has confirmed that the affordable Meizu M3 Note will meet us soon. Read more about <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/03/22/meizu-m3-note-coming-soon-big-battery-slim-body/">the device from here</a>.</p>

After reports about the scrapping of the Meizu Pro 5 Mini handset, we know the company has, at least, three new devices in the pipeline this year, namely Meizu MX6, Meizu Pro 6 and a <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/03/06/rumor-meizu-release-smartphone-new-series-helio-x25-chip/">mid-range flagship in a brand new lineup</a>. While we will probably see the Pro 6 flagship only near the third or fourth quarter of 2016, a new leak about the device has revealed some specs of the phone.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-74239" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-mx6-concept-01.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu mx6 concept 01" width="900" height="600" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-mx6-concept-01.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-mx6-concept-01-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-mx6-concept-01-600x400.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-mx6-concept-01-630x420.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-mx6-concept-01-640x427.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-mx6-concept-01-681x454.jpg 681w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></p>
<p>A report from China suggests that Meizu will release a new super flagship smartphone in August this year, and it will most likely be the successor to last year&#8217;s Exynos based flagship, the Pro 5. The new model will be called as the Pro 6 and will be launched in two versions, with the main difference being the memory on board.</p>
<p>It is said that the high-end version of the Meizu Pro 6 flagship will feature 6GB of RAM on board, joining the likes of the<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/03/01/vivo-xplay-5-announced-worlds-first-6gb-ram-smartphone/"> Vivo XPlay 5 </a>flagship. So, the memory combination of the top-end variant will be 6GB + 128GB storage. On the other hand, the standard version will come with 4GB RAM + 64GB of Storage. The screen resolution will still be limited to 1080p, much like the previous generation.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-74238" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-mx6-concept-02.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu mx6 concept 02" width="1149" height="600" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-mx6-concept-02.jpg 1149w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-mx6-concept-02-300x157.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-mx6-concept-02-1024x535.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-mx6-concept-02-600x313.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-mx6-concept-02-804x420.jpg 804w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-mx6-concept-02-640x334.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/meizu-mx6-concept-02-681x356.jpg 681w" sizes="(max-width: 1149px) 100vw, 1149px" /></p>
<p>The phone will most likely feature the Exynos 8890 flagship chipset that powers some of the new Galaxy S7 models. Other probable features of the upcoming super flagship could be Hi-Fi 3.0, support for fast charge, Meizu&#8217;s MBack 3.0 software and the new Flyme 6.0 OS. You can also expect the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/03/02/xiaomi-meizu-oppo-vivo-reportedly-working-pressure-sensitive-displays/">phone to feature 3D touch like feature</a>.</p>
<p>Like mentioned above, it&#8217;s still too early to say anything about the Meizu Pro 6 handset. Before its release, we can expect at least one major smartphone announcement from the company this year. The Meizu MX6 mid-range flagship is expected to be announced sometime in April. So, we better wait for more information about these upcoming phones from the company.</p>
