Earlier this week, a leak revealed the key specifications of OPPO’s 2021 flagship phone, the Find X3 Pro. Now, another leak has surfaced, but this time they are renders and they give us our first look at the device.

The Find X3 Pro renders, which were posted on Twitter by TheLeaks (@TheLeaks3) show that OPPO is sticking to the same front design as that of the Find X2 Pro. This means you are getting a curved display, which some may not like, and a punch hole at the top left corner of the screen for the selfie camera.

The rear is where the change has occurred. Gone is the vertical camera arrangement of the Find X2 Pro and in its place is a square-shaped camera housing with rounded corners.

There are four rear cameras and an LED flash on the back of the phone. One of the cameras has two silver rings around it and below it is a much smaller sensor which should be the macro camera that was reported in the specifications leak.

The OPPO Find X3 Pro has a curved glass back but we expect there will be other variants too, including a Lamborghini Edition.

Information revealed so far says the Find X3 flagship will have a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with a 1440p resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It will be powered by the new Snapdragon 888 processor which will be the chipset of choice for most flagship phones launching in 2021.

The rear cameras are said to include two 50MP Sony IMX766 cameras, one of which is the primary camera and the other is the ultrawide angle camera. It will also have a 13MP telephoto camera and a 3MP macro camera.

The Find X3 Pro will have a 4500mAh under the hood and will support both 65W fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging. It has been reported that OPPO has tweaked the algorithm of the 65W fast charging technology so that the device charges faster than its predecessor. The phone will also run ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box.

The Redmi K30 5G launches in about a week from today. The upcoming phone will be Redmi‘s first 5G phone. Ahead of the launch, new details and leaks have been pouring in. The lastest is a poster that shows the rear of the phone.

The Redmi K30 5G’s rear design seems like a mash-up of the OnePlus 7T and the OnePlus 7T Pro. There are four cameras stacked up vertically in a black housing. However, there is a circular design around the cameras too similar to the housing of the OnePlus 7T. This circular design is the same color as the rest of the phone but appears to have a different finish. Below the sensors is a dual-LED flash and the word “5G”. Further down is the Redmi branding.

The camera configuration is unknown but one leak said the primary camera is a 60MP Sony IMX686 sensor while another said the 4G version has a 64MP sensor. We do not know if Redmi will use the same sensors on both versions of the phone or different ones.  However, both leaks say the Redmi K30 has a 13 ultrawide angle camera, an 8MP telephoto camera, and a 2MP sensor that is probably a macro camera.

Unconfirmed reports say the phone will have a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display. However, we do know it will have a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch hole for two cameras. The phone is expected to have a battery capacity between 4500mAh to 5000mAh with support for 27W fast charging. It will also have NFC and run Android 10 out of the box.

Huawei will announce the Nova 6 5G on December 5, the same day HMD Global has scheduled for its next Nokia phone launch. However, the Nova 6 may not be the only Huawei phone launching on that day. It may also come along with another phone called the Nova 6 SE whose photo and key specs leaked today.

The leak comes from Huawei Club (@ClubHuawei) and Teme (@RODENT950) on Twitter. Both accounts are known for Huawei and Honor-related leaks.

The Nova 6 SE is the second Huawei phone with the SE suffix in its name. The first is the 2018 Huawei Mate SE which is actually a rebranded Honor 7X. However, Huawei is not the first manufacturer to use the SE suffix. Apple did so first in 2016 when it launched the popular iPhone SE.

The Nova 6 SE doesn’t only borrow part of its name from an Apple phone. Its design (read rear design) is practically an iPhone 11 Pro with an extra camera.

The leaked image shows the Nova 6 SE has a rear camera design similar to that of Apple’s latest phone but with four cameras inside the squircle instead of three. Huawei has also put the LED flash below the camera housing and not together with the cameras.

On the front, the phone has a punch-hole display with the hole positioned at the top left corner. It is most likely an LCD panel as the image shows the Nova 6 SE has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that doubles as a power button.

The Nova 6 SE in the image has a gradient pink finish on the rear, a gold frame, and black borders around the display.

A second image reveals some key specs of the phone.

The Nova 6 SE will be powered by the Kirin 810 processor which means it is a mid-range device. However, it will get a flagship feature, and that is 40W SuperCharge wired fast charging. This is the same fast charging technology that the Mate 30 series ships with.

The rest of the specs are unknown but should be pretty interesting. We believe the Nova 6 SE will launch on the same day as the Nova 6 5G but it will not support 5G like its sibling.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note10 series come with a punch-hole display that is very different from that of the Galaxy S10 series. Not only is the hole smaller but it is also positioned in the upper middle portion of the screen and not on the right. That design will no longer be exclusive to the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ as a new leak has revealed the upcoming Galaxy A71 will feature a similar design.

The leak is a set of 3D renders courtesy of seasoned leakster, Steve Hemmerstoffer, also known as OnLeaks. This time, he has partnered with CashKaro. The renders give us an early look at the Galaxy A71’s design.

Samsung has shaved the bezels off on three of the sides and left just a few millimeters at the bottom. The display is most definitely AMOLED but the hole appears to be slightly bigger than that of the Galaxy Note10’s.

On the back, the Galaxy A71 features a rectangular camera bump similar to that of the Smartisan Nut Pro 3. The camera housing is big and holds four cameras arranged in an L-shape. There is also an LED flash beside the sensors.

The black camera housing sticks out like a sore thumb against the phone’s white rear panel but it should be less noticeable on a black variant, that is if there will be one. The back is curved on the sides for a better grip. Since there is no fingerprint scanner on the back, there is definitely one under the screen.

The Galaxy A71 has a USB Type-C port at the bottom and it is flanked by the speaker grille and primary microphone on the right and the 3.5mm audio jack on the left. The SIM tray is on the left side of the frame while the volume and power buttons are on the right.

OnLeaks says the display is 6.7-inches and the phone measures 163.5 x 76 x 9.2 millimeters (including the bump’s thickness).

It has been reported that the Galaxy A71 will be powered by the Exynos 980 processor which means it will have support for 5G. Its model number has been revealed to be SM-A7160 and there are rumors it will launch in China first.

The Galaxy A71 is not the only A-series phone with this design. The upcoming Galaxy A51 whose renders were also leaked by OnLeaks has the same punch-hole screen and rear camera design.

The Motorola One Zoom is an upcoming smartphone with quad rear cameras. Last week, renders and specs of the phone were leaked online. More details have surfaced today and while some confirm what we already know, some are actually new info.

The source of the new leak is Roland Quandt (@rquandt) and he took to Twitter to share the details. First, he reiterates that the phone is called the Motorola One Zoom and not the Motorola One Pro.

But don’t be deceived by the name, the Motorola One Zoom is not an Android One Phone like the other Motorola phones with “One” in their names. Roland Quandt said the phone will come with a special Amazon Alexa integration (shown in action below).

The phone will have four cameras on the back arranged in a matrix. Below the sensors sits the familiar Motorola Batwing logo which actually lights up. We actually think that is a nice touch to add to the device.

The 48MP quad-camera setup is reported to have dual optical image stabilization. This means one of the other three cameras alongside the 48MP 1.6µm primary sensor has OIS.

It is confirmed that the Motorola One Zoom will be powered by the Snapdragon 675 just like the Redmi Note 7 Pro. It will have 4GB of RAM and 128GB UFS storage with a MicroSD card slot for expansion. There may be other variants too but the above configuration will have a price tag of €399 (~$445).

The source has also provided renders of the phone including one with a purple/violet finish. One of the photos shows the phone has a speaker grille at the top while the opposite side is home to the SIM tray.

The renders also show the Motorola One Zoom will come pre-loaded with Amazon apps including Amazon Music, Amazon Photos, and Audible.

Motorola is expected to announce the One Zoom at IFA 2019.

Samsung made a symbolic statement of intent with the launch of the Galaxy A9 (2018) packing a quad-camera setup at the rear. The Galaxy A9 (2018) is the first smartphone to have such a setup and it isn’t even a flagship device. Even though the cameras look like an overkill, it sure is a fitting way to rejig the company’s declining mid-range and budget lineup. One market where Samsung plans to overhaul its midrange and budget offerings is the Chinese market. Samsung has seen its market share fall drastically over the years as a result of the rise of local brands like Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo who offer premium models at affordable prices.

Indeed, the Korean tech giant has disclosed that the Galaxy A9 will be hitting China soon apparently in a bid to improve its market shares. A poster teasing the launch has been released but unfortunately, the exact date is yet to be disclosed. A date for the China launch will likely be released in the coming days.

The Galaxy A9 (2018) looks interesting for a midrange model, all thanks to a sleek design and the four cameras at the rear. The device features a glass back which houses the cameras and fingerprints scanner. The four cameras include an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 120-degree field of view at the top. This is followed by a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. It offers 2x optical zoom. The third sensor is a 24-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture. Finally, there is a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture that adds depth to the captured images follows the main sensor. We’ll have to wait for the reviews to see how the camera fares. We hope DXOMark will give us a review because it will be devoted to the rear camera setup. The Galaxy A9 (2018) also sports a mammoth 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2220×1080 pixel and screen aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660AIE processor paired with 6GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage. Samsung will launch an 8GB RAM version in some markets and China will likely be one of them. At 599 euros (4,800 yuan), though, Samsung still does not have the price going for it. Mind you, it is powered by last year’s Snapdragon 660 chipset.

Huawei set the record as the first manufacturer to launch a phone (P20 Pro) with triple rear cameras. Some manufacturers have followed suit such as Samsung with its Galaxy A7 (2018) while others are planning to set a new record by launching phones with more than three rear cameras. Nokia is one of the manufacturers in this latter group and will now be joined by Lenovo.

Earlier today, Lenovo’s own Vice President Chang Cheng shared a poster with a quad-camera setup on Weibo. The four cameras are housed in a square setup similar to that of the coming Huawei Mate 20 series. Sitting in the middle of the four camera sensors is a small LED flash.

The poster also mentions the phone will launch in October although the exact date isn’t mentioned. It also adds that the cameras will have AI features. Although we do not know the name of the device, we want to believe it is the Lenovo Z5 Pro slider phone.

The Lenovo Z5 Pro was officially teased by the VP a few weeks ago. It is expected to come with a bezel-less display like the OPPO Find X but will have a mechanical slider instead of a motor. So far, all the leaks of the device that have surfaced online have only shown the front of the phone and not its rear. This has led us to presume the Z5 Pro might be the phone with the quad-cameras.
