GooPhone a Chinese manufacturer who has already tasted success with a bunch of cloned flagship phones. Their clone handset portfolio includes M8 ,S5 and Iphones series phones. GooPhone has announced its next flagship, the GooPhone i6 clone of much awaited Iphone6.

Interestingly it launched it’s phone ahead of Iphone 6 which is rumored to launch on September 19th. This clone went on sale from August 1 and it costs around 160$.

Goophone has launched only a 4.7-inch screen variant and it features some specifications which claims to have a 4.7-inch IPS qHD display, Mediatek’s MT6582 octa-core SOC where each core is clocked at 1400MHz, 1GB RAM, 13-MP rear camera, and has 1500mah battery .  Goophone has strongly believed in rumors related to Iphone 6. 3G smartphone with MediaTek MT6589 processor will be launched early next year, we have ever covered this news and said that the domestic mobile phone manufacturers are preparing to use a quad-core processor MT6589, some local manufacturers who have set up their products are Lenovo and ZTE and now they has made a prototype of the phone that uses this processor.

Some of the first domestic company will use a quad-core processor made by MediaTek MT6589 are; Lenovo, ZTE, TCL, Jin and Oriental TUOYU. However, the most often heard from the manufacturer is that Lenovo has prepared a prototype named Lenovo Arkansas.

Lenovo Arkansas will have the following specifications; 1.2 GHz processor, 4.5-inch screen with QHD resolution 960 x 540, the phone is equipped with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of ROM, and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, but the Lenovo has yet to confirm officially on the phone.

MTK6589 is the MediaTek latest upcoming quad-core processor for smartphone, using a 28-nanometer process technology A7 architecture, support LDDR2 memory at the same time support WCDMA / TDSCDMA dual-network standard, to support the maximum 13 million pixels of camera, support 1080P video decoding, support 720P display resolution, rumored graphics processor with PowerVR SGX 544, supports HDMI 3D output the triangle output rate of 55M / S, pixel fill rate for 1600M / S.

MTK6589 mainly for about $ 150 quad-core smartphone market, while MediaTek official initial recognition the MT6589 Published at the beginning of next year, the second half of next year, will be launched support for FDD-LTE and TDD-LTE smartphone solve programs.
