OPPO F21 Pro 4G and 5G price tipped again ahead of April 12 launch

Earlier this week, the complete spec sheet of the upcoming OPPO F21 Pro and F21 Pro 5G smartphones were leaked along with their price tags. Tipster Abhishek Yadav stated that the OPPO F21 Pro 4G will have a MOP (market operating price) of Rs 22,000 (~$292) and the F21 Pro 5G will have a MOP of Rs 26,000 (~$343).

Now, another reliable tipster has revealed the prices of the upcoming devices which are in line with the previous leaks. According to tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the OPPO F21 Pro will be priced in India at Rs 21,990 for the 8GB/128GB storage model, while the 8GB/128GB unit will cost Rs 25,990.

OPPO F21 Pro 4G specifications (rumored)

The OPPO F21 Pro 4G will come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display offering a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It will come with a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 front camera and a 64-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (depth) + 2-megapixel (microlens) triple camera unit.

The F21 Pro will run on Android 12 OS and ColorOS 12.1 UI. The device will have a Snapdragon 680 under the hood and will draw power from a 4,500mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The device will measure 159.9 x 73.2 x 7.49 / 7.54mm and weigh 175 grams. It will come in colors like Cosmic Black and Sunset Orange. The latter could be equipped with a fiberglass-leather design.

OPPO F21 Pro 5G specifications (rumored)

The OPPO F21 Pro 5G will come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with 409 PPI pixel density and 600 nits brightness. It will feature a triple camera setup on the rear comprising of a 64-megapixel primary camera + 2-megapixel depth sensor + 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, it will feature a 16-megapixel snapper.

The F21 Pro 5G will also boot to the Android 12 OS with ColorOS 12.1 on top. The Snapdragon 695 powered smartphone will house a 4,500mAh battery with 33W rapid charging support. The device will measure 159.85 x 73.17 x 7.49 / 7.55mm and weigh 173 grams. It will sport an OPPO Glow design and come in Rainbow Spectrum and Cosmic Black colors.

OPPO has confirmed that the F21 Pro series will launch on April 12 in India.

Vivo T1 5G launched in India, with Snapdragon 695, 50 MP triple cameras, & 120Hz Display

The Vivo T1 5G has just been launched in India. The company claims that the new device is the slimmest 5G handset in the mid range segment (Sub 20K INR). So let’s check it out:

Design & Display

The Chinese smartphone maker clearly placed an emphasis on the new smartphone’s design. It features a 2.5D straight middle frame design, measures just 8.25 mm in thickness, and weighs 187 grams. The Vivo T1 5G sports a 6.58 inch IPS FHD+ display that supports 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The front houses a waterdrop notch, which houses the selfie camera.

Camera

The Vivo T1 5G is equipped with a ’50 megapixel AI Triple Rear Turbo Camera’ setup on the rear. The primary sensor is a 50 megapixel shooter that supports Super Night mode and Bokeh mode among other camera features. This sensor is paired with two additional sensors, which are both 2 megapixel shooters. These sensors offer Super Macro mode, and even a human eye tracking focus feature as well. On the front, the device features a 16 megapixel selfie shooter.

Specifications

Under the hood, the handset houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695, which is a 6nm based 5G enabled processor. The company claims that this is the ‘fastest smartphone in the segment’, with a AnTuTu score of 400,000 points. Vivo further added that the phone arrives with a 15 percent CPU improvement and 30 percent bump in GPU performance. For memory, it features up to 8GB of RAM that can be virtually expanded to hit a maximum of 12GB RAM. It also offers 128GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.

The brand ships the T1 5G with a “Turbo 5 Layer Liquid Cooling” technology. As the name suggests, it uses 5 layers of cooling mechanisms like liquid copper tube, graphite heat dissipation film, and more along with turbo cooling intelligent thermal management system to reduce the device’s temperature by up to 10 degree Celsius. The device is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack and runs on Funtouch OS 12.0.

Price, Colors, & Availability

The device will be available in India in two color options, namely Starlight Black and Rainbow Fantasy (Blue). Vivo is launching the T1 5G in multiple configurations, including a 4GB RAM, 6GB RAM, and 8GB RAM models that are paired with 128GB storage. It starts from 15,990 INR (roughly 213 US Dollars) for the 4GB variant, while the 6GB model costs 16,990 INR (roughly 227 US Dollars), and the 8GB version is priced at 19,990 INR (roughly 267 US Dollars). The first sale of the handset will start from 14th February 2022 and will be available for purchase on Flipkart.com, company’s official website, and partnered offline retailers as well.

iQOO U5 5G gets listed ahead of schedule, Snapdragon 695 and 5000mAh battery confirmed

The iQOO U5 5G has been listed on platforms like Jingdong Mall ahead of schedule and the listings have confirmed multiple specifications and even the release date of the phone.

An official promo image has revealed that the phone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chip – a faster mid-tier 5G offering that aims to replace the Snapdragon 690. Further revealed was that the phone will be packing a large 5000mAh battery and will feature a waterdrop notch upfront. The display will be an ultra-smooth one thanks to 120Hz refresh rate support.

Judging from the image, the iQOO U5 5G will be available in three colors that are white, light blue, and charcoal black. The white and light blue colors seem to have a gradient finish of the kind that shifts colors depending on the angle you’re looking at the device from.

Unfortunately, the price hasn’t been announced yet but we should be seeing it soon enough considering that a press conference for the device has been scheduled for tonight. Still, we do know from reports that a pre-sale will be starting just four days from now – on December 24th.

A listing on the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology had earlier revealed that the iQOO U5 5G carries model number V2165A, features a 6.58-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2408×1080, measures 164×75.84×8.25mm, and weighs about 185g. The charging is rated 18W and for photography, there is a 50MP dual-camera setup at the rear paired with an 8MP selfie shooter up front.
