Realme 11 Pro+ to feature 5,000mAh battery with impressive 100W fast charging

The Chinese smartphone maker is set to launch the new smartphones in China on Wednesday (10th May 2023). The Realme 11 Pro+ is the top end model and the latest teaser has confirmed previous rumors regarding its battery capacity. In other words, it will be powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack, which is the same capacity rating as its predecessor, the Realme 10 Pro+. This battery will even support an impressive 100W fast charging, which is noticeably higher than the 67W fast charging on the 10 series model.

Apart from this, the only other information revealed on the teaser poster image was that the handset weighs just 183 grams. The Realme 10 Pro+ model could charge from 0 to 17 percent in 17 minutes from its 67W fast charging technology, so we can expect the time to fall even lower on its successor. Talking about its other features, it sports a tall 6.7 inch AMOLED display that supports 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the 11 Pro+ model will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC that is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The rear features a 200 megapixel triple camera setup, while the front houses a 16 megapixel selfie shooter. Realme is ready to launch its next number series in China on May 10. The Realme 11 series will include some good-looking phones, including the higher-end Realme 11 Pro+. Leaked images suggest the handset will get a round camera module with a faux leather back. There’s no news about the smartphone’s global launch but it has recently bagged NBTC and BIS certification, hinting at a nearby launch in India and other global markets.

Realme 11 Pro+ Headed to India

The Realme 11 Pro+ with model number RMX3741 has surfaced on the NBTC website in Indonesia, confirming its cellular connectivity options including GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and NR. Additionally, the premium smartphone has also been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website with the same model number, indicating that its launch in India could be just around the corner.

Apart from this, we don’t get any interesting detail from the two listings. However, we already know most about the smartphone thanks to various teasers and leaks. The Realme 11 Pro+ will debut with a premium-looking design clad with faux leather on the back. Its round camera module is in line with the trend followed by most Chinese manufacturers this year.

The Realme 11 Pro+ should arrive as a premium mid-range smartphone with a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 2160Hz PWM high-frequency dimming. Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050, the phone is likely to pack up to 16GB of RAM and a maximum of 1TB of internal storage. It is expected that the handset will get a large 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.
