Realme has announced an important change for its Realme 16 Pro series, expanding long-term software support for both models. The update policy revision improves device longevity and aligns the lineup more closely with premium competitors, signalling a stronger focus on post-launch value. While the phones were introduced earlier this year with a different update roadmap, the latest announcement reshapes expectations for buyers considering extended usage.

Updated software policy brings longer lifecycle

Realme 16 Pro series to get software support up to 2032

The Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ will now receive four Android OS upgrades along with six years of security patches. At launch, the company had confirmed three Android upgrades and four years of security updates, so this extension adds meaningful longevity.

Since both devices ship with Realme UI 7 based on Android 16, they are now expected to receive updates up to Android 20, with security coverage continuing until around 2032. Realme says the revision reflects its evolving product strategy and broader effort to strengthen long-term support across its portfolio.

This is not an isolated decision, as the company has recently extended software timelines for select Realme 14 series, Realme 15 series, Realme P4 series and some Realme P3 models. Applying updated policies to existing devices suggests a gradual shift toward more competitive update commitments within the mid-range segment. With rivals already offering similar long-term support, this move helps Realme remain relevant among buyers prioritising longevity alongside hardware specifications.

Realme 16 Pro, 16 Pro+ specifications

The Realme 16 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, while the Pro+ variant gets a slightly larger 6.8-inch AMOLED panel, both offering 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Camera hardware includes a 50-megapixel front camera and a 200-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation, supported by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The Pro+ adds a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.

Performance differs between the two, with the Realme 16 Pro powered by the Dimensity 7300 Max chipset and the Pro+ running on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Both models feature large 7,000mAh batteries with 80W charging. With extended software support now confirmed, the series strengthens its appeal for users seeking long-term usability, especially following recent pricing adjustments that place the devices at a more premium level.

Design and Display

The Vivo V70 features a flat-edge design with an aerospace-grade metal frame. Vivo has focused on making the phone ergonomic with its Golden Grip size, which ensures comfortable one-handed use. The phone comes in color options like Passion Red, Lemon Yellow, Sand Beige, and Authentic Black.

The Realme 16 Pro+ uses a unique Urban Wild design with a back panel made of bio-based organic silicone. Realme offers a wheat-grain texture on its Camellia Pink variant, which is exclusive to India. Other options include Master Gold and Master Grey.

The Vivo V70 has a 6.59-inch flat 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 5000 nits peak brightness. The Realme 16 Pro+ offers a slightly larger 6.8-inch flat 1.5K OLED display with a faster 144Hz refresh rate. The Realme display reaches up to 6500 nits peak brightness, making it better for outdoor use.

While both displays are HDR10+ certified, Realme’s higher refresh rate and brighter screen give it an edge in this category.

Performance

The Vivo V70 and Realme 16 Pro+ are both powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm process. While both devices feature LPDDR5X RAM, the Vivo V70 uses UFS 4.1 storage, offering faster read and write speeds compared to the UFS 3.1 storage in the Realme 16 Pro+.

Both phones feature vapor chamber cooling systems and perform well for gaming and heavy tasks. Vivo includes 4D game vibration with an X-axis linear motor for an immersive gaming experience, while Realme adds AI Gaming Coach features, which provide useful insights and tools for gamers.

The performance is nearly identical, but the V70 takes the lead in this round due to its inclusion of UFS 4.1 storage.

Cameras

The Vivo V70 boasts a Zeiss-engineered triple camera setup. It includes a 50MP OIS main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor.

The Realme 16 Pro+ uses a 200MP primary camera featuring a Samsung HP5 sensor. It also includes a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto lens with up to 120x digital zoom, along with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor.

Realme offers stronger on-paper camera hardware, but Vivo may deliver more consistent real-world results, especially in low-light scenes and color accuracy.

Battery and Charging

The Vivo V70 packs a 6500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. The Realme 16 Pro+ has a larger 7000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Both phones offer excellent battery life and quick charging speeds.

Software and Others

The Vivo V70 runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, while the Realme 16 Pro+ runs Realme UI 7.0. Vivo promises four major OS updates and six years of security patches, whereas Realme offers three major Android OS updates and four years of security patches.

The Vivo V70 is equipped with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which offers faster and more accurate recognition, even with wet or oily fingers. The Realme 16 Pro+ uses an optical fingerprint sensor, which is reliable but not as advanced as Vivo’s ultrasonic solution.

Pricing

The Vivo V70 is priced at ₹45,999 for the base 8GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 256GB model costs ₹49,999.

The Realme 16 Pro+ initially launched at ₹39,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, but a recent price hike has raised the starting price to ₹43,999.

Verdict: Which Should You Buy?

To be honest, both the Vivo V70 and Realme 16 Pro+ are extremely competitive at their respective price points. Both devices offer balanced performance and well-rounded camera setups, making it difficult to choose between them. However, if you ask me, I would pick the Vivo V70 for its strength in camera tuning. While the Realme 16 Pro+ comes with a 200MP sensor, Vivo’s expertise in camera optimization gives it a slight edge, especially in consistency and low-light performance.

When it comes to gaming, both phones are solid performers, but Realme offers a slight advantage with its gaming-focused features, such as AI Gaming Coach. If you’re someone who’s nitpicky about software tools and gaming-specific specs, Realme might be the better option for you.

Ultimately, it all comes down to pricing. If we compare the two in terms of value for money, Realme is the clear winner here, offering many flagship-level features at a more affordable price.

2. Poco M8 series

On the same day, Poco will unveil its Poco M8 series in India, featuring two models: Poco M8 5G and Poco M8 Pro 5G. The phones will be sold via Flipkart.

The Poco M8 is confirmed to feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset paired with 8GB RAM, achieving over 825,000 points on the AnTuTu V11 benchmark. Sadly, it will come with Android 15-based HyperOS 2, not HyperOS 3, although the brand promises a quicker rollout. On the plus side, Poco guarantees 4 years of OS upgrades, along with 6 years of security updates for the standard M8.

3. OnePlus Turbo 6 series

Launch date: January 8, 2026

OnePlus has also locked in the same date for the launch of its flagship-grade OnePlus Turbo 6 series. However, it will debut in China and will likely launch with a different name for the rest of the world.

The lineup comprises OnePlus Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V. The former is confirmed to pack a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a 1.5K resolution display with support for a 165Hz refresh rate.

The highlight of the Turbo 6 series is the battery capacity. The Turbo 6 packs a massive 9,000mAh battery, while the Turbo 6V will arrive with a smaller but still powerful 7,000mAh battery.

The OnePlus 6V is confirmed to feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

The 15 Pro, for instance, scored 1.23 million in NanoReview’s testing.

The 8GB + 256GB variant of the Realme 15 Pro is currently listed on Flipkart at ₹35,999, and the Realme 16 Pro+ is expected to launch at a noticeably higher price. Based on the official AnTuTu score, the performance jump over the previous generation appears modest. While Realme seems to be putting more emphasis on design and camera hardware this time around, raw performance may not be the phone’s strongest selling point, especially when compared with rivals in a similar price range.

The front is dominated by a curved display with very slim bezels, measuring just 1.48mm. Realme is also claiming a peak brightness of 6,500 nits, which should help with outdoor visibility, assuming real-world performance matches the numbers. The phone carries an IP69 Pro rating as well, offering higher-than-usual resistance to dust and water for this segment.

Camera hardware includes a 200MP Samsung HP5 primary sensor. It is joined by a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, allowing for optical zoom without relying entirely on digital processing.

Realme has also confirmed details for the standard Realme 16 Pro. It shares the same claimed 6,500-nit peak brightness and IP69 rating, along with a 1.5K AMOLED panel and a 144Hz refresh rate.

Both models will run Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0. AI-based features such as AI Recording, AI Framing, and Google Gemini integration are included. Color options confirmed so far include Master Gold, Pebble Gray, and Orchid Purple.

The samples focus heavily on people photography and show consistent results across different lighting setups. Skin tones appear natural and even, without heavy smoothing or sharpness. Fine details such as facial texture, jewelry, and fabric patterns are preserved well, indicating controlled image processing rather than aggressive tuning. Highlights on skin and metallic surfaces are handled cleanly, without visible clipping.

Portrait shots show strong subject separation. Edges around hair, ears, fingers, and accessories are accurately detected, even in close-up frames. Background blur looks smooth and gradual, with no harsh transitions. The blur effect remains consistent in both indoor and outdoor scenes.

Lighting control is another strong point in the samples. In shaded and low-light conditions, noise levels remain low, especially on skin and darker areas. Shadows retain detail, and brighter areas such as jewelry reflections and ambient light sources are kept under control. The dynamic range appears well balanced, which is important for portrait shots taken in mixed lighting.

According to earlier reports, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is expected to carry a box price of Rs. 43,999. That said, it is worth mentioning that the MRP written on the boxes are usually alot more than than the actual selling price of the device. For context, the Realme 14 Pro+, which is the predicessor of the Realme 16 Pro+, launched at Rs. 29,999, especially considering there was no Realme 15 Pro+ in between.

Realme has already confirmed several key specifications. The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G will feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 200MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera. The newly shared camera samples suggest a focus on portrait photography, with natural colors, clean subject separation, and balanced exposure across different lighting conditions.

Earlier this month, Realme claimed that its upcoming Realme 16 Pro+ will ship with a processor more powerful than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Last week, however, the smartphone made an appearance on Geekbench with—surprisingly—the same chip that Realme said it would not use.

Now, the phone’s retail box image has also surfaced online. And guess what? The box imprinting confirms that the device is indeed powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.

We are not sure why Realme is doing false marketing. The source of the image is a reliable tipster, which rules out the likelihood of the image itself being doctored.

Below is the official teaser, which shows Realme 16 Pro+ has an “industry-leading Snapdragon chip,” which performs better than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. It’s Realme logic now, and we’ll have to wait for the company to explain the discrepancy.

Beyond the chipset confusion, the box image also reveals some previously confirmed details. The Realme 16 Pro+ packs a 200MP main camera alongside a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens on the back. Powering the phone is a massive 7,000mAh “Titan” battery, paired with 80W fast charging.

Rest of the specs

The 16 Pro+ has already made its way to the TENAA database, revealing most of its specs. It flaunts a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with 10-bit color depth. The front also has a 50MP selfie camera, while the rear includes an 8MP ultrawide alongside above mentioned 200MP main and 50MP telephoto.

It runs on Android 16, which is layered with Realme UI 7. Globally, it is expected to receive three OS upgrades and four security updates. Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IR blaster.

The Realme 16 Pro+ is set to launch in India on January alongside the more affordable Realme 16 Pro.

Realme is getting ready to kick off 2026 with two new smartphone launches. Part of the Realme 16 series, the company will announce the 16 Pro 5G and 16 Pro+ 5G on January 6 in India. Ahead of that announcement, a fresh leak has shed some light on what the more premium Realme 16 Pro+ 5G might cost.

According to well-known tipster Paras Guglani, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is expected to carry a maximum retail price of Rs. 43,999. As is usually the case with early leaks, this figure isn’t official.

Realme is likely to announce launch offers, bank discounts, or limited-time deals that could bring the actual street price down. There was no Realme 15 Pro+ to compare the price to its predecessor; however, the Realme 14 Pro+ launched at Rs 29,999. So that’s indeed a steep increase in a couple of generations.

Realme 16 Pro+ 5G: What to expect

The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is confirmed to ship with a 200MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto lens. The phone will run on a Snapdragon chipset, which Geekbench shows could be a tweaked version of Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.

Design-wise, the Pro+ appears to follow a similar look to the Realme 16 Pro, with color options including Master Gold, Camellia Pink, and Master Grey.

Realme 16 Pro in Master Gold

On the software side, the phone will ship with Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. Realme has also committed to three years of Android OS updates and four years of security patches for 16 Pro+. The device will include intelligence features like AI Edit Genie 2.0.

The January 6 launch event won’t just be about smartphones. Realme has also confirmed the debut of the Realme Buds Air 8 and the Realme Pad 3. All of these products are expected to go on sale through Realme’s official website and Flipkart shortly after launch.

For this generation, Realme has once again partnered with industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa. The design is called “Urban Wild Design” and combines natural textures with a clean, modern look. A major highlight is the use of an industry-first bio-based organic silicone material. Realme says this material improves durability while offering a softer and more comfortable feel. The phones also feature handcrafted “all-nature” curves, which are designed to improve grip and overall in-hand comfort.

Realme 16 Pro+

The Realme 16 Pro Series will be available in four Master Design colour options: Master Gold, Master Grey, Camellia Pink, and Orchid Purple.

Cameras are a key focus for the series. The devices will feature a 200MP Portrait Master system built around a 200MP LumaColor Camera. According to Realme, the setup is designed for high-definition solo and group portraits, consistent bokeh across multiple focal lengths, and more accurate skin tone reproduction. The series will also debut LumaColor IMAGE, Realme’s self-developed portrait imaging technology. This software is said to balance light and color intelligently to produce more layered images in different lighting conditions. To support its claims, Realme has set up the LumaColor IMAGE LAB in collaboration with TÜV R. Teaser images showing 3.5x and 10x zoom hint at the return of a periscope telephoto camera.

Recent certification listings have revealed details about the higher-end Realme 16 Pro+. A device believed to be the Chinese variant has appeared on TENAA with model number RMX5130. It measures 162.45 x 76.27 x 8.49mm and weighs 203 grams. The phone is listed with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 2800 x 1280 resolution and over one billion colours. It features a quad rear camera setup including a 200MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP sensor, with support for up to 3.5x optical zoom. A 50MP front camera is also listed.

The Realme 16 Pro+ is expected to run Android 16 with Realme UI 7, be powered by a tweaked Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, offer up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage, and pack a 6,850mAh rated battery with possible 80W fast charging. The Realme 16 Pro also recently made an appearance on Geekbench featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, which is notably a downgrade compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 present on the Realme 15 Pro.

After details of the Realme 16 Pro surfaced recently, attention has now shifted to the higher-end Realme 16 Pro+. The smartphone, believed to be the Chinese variant of the Pro+ model, has appeared on the TENAA certification platform with model number RMX5130, revealing several of its key specifications ahead of an official announcement. While Realme has not yet confirmed launch timelines, the listing offers a clear look at what the Pro+ could bring in terms of hardware.

Realme 16 Pro+ specifications (rumored)

Realme 16 Pro+

As per the TENAA database, the Realme 16 Pro+ measures 162.45 x 76.27 x 8.49mm and weighs 203 grams, suggesting a slightly bulkier build compared to the standard Pro model. The device is listed with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display featuring a resolution of 2800 x 1280 pixels and a colour depth of over one billion colours. While the refresh rate is not specified, it is expected to be positioned as a high-refresh-rate panel, in line with the Pro+ branding.

On the imaging front, the Realme 16 Pro+ is shown to feature a quad camera setup.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.8GHz, although the exact chipset name is not mentioned. As per a recent Geekbench listing, it is powered by a tweaked version of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.

It runs on Android 16, which is layered with Realme UI 7. Globally, it is expected to receive three OS upgrades and four security updates. Memory options listed on TENAA include 8GB, 12GB, 16GB, and 24GB RAM, paired with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage variants.

Realme is all set to unveil the Realme 16 series of smartphones in January 2026. While interest is building around the new lineup, the rumour mill is actively leaking details about it. Recently, the Realme 16 Pro was spotted on Geekbench with the Dimensity 7300 chip. Now, the Realme 16 Pro+ has reportedly surfaced on the same benchmarking platform, revealing its chipset, RAM, and OS.

Realme 16 Pro+ Geekbench listing

Realme 16 Pro+ Snapdragon chip

Reports have revealed that the RMX5131 model number belongs to the upcoming Realme 16 Pro+, and the same device has now appeared on Geekbench. The company has officially claimed that the 16 Pro+ packs a Snapdragon chip that is stronger than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.

The Realme 16 Pro+ Geekbench listing reveals that it is powered by a Qualcomm chip that includes a prime core clocked at 2.80GHz, three cores operating at 1.84GHz, and four cores running at 2.80GHz. The metadata of the Geekbench listing also reveals that the chip features the Adreno 722 GPU.

Interestingly, the above chip details are an exact match with the specifications of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. This indicates that the Realme 16 Pro+ chip could be the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 with some tweaks.

The listing further reveals that the Realme 16 Pro+ has 12GB of RAM and runs Android 16. The company has already confirmed that the device will feature the Realme UI 7 skin on top of the Android OS. It has also revealed that the Pro series will receive three years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates.

Realme has already revealed the Realme 16 Pro series and its collaboration with popular designer Naoto Fukasawa. The entire series will come in color options such as Master Gold, Master Grey, Camellia Pink, and Orchid Purple. Apart from the 16 Pro series, the brand will also announce the Realme Buds Air 8 alongside, in shades like Master Gold, Master Grey, and Master Purple.

Realme has already started teasing the new Realme 16 Pro series. But now, the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ models have just had their availability revealed and even showcased the gorgeous design.

World renowned designer sculpts the Realme 16 Pro series

Realme 16 Pro in Master Gold

The Chinese brand is expected to debut in the Indian market on 6th January 2026. But ahead of the official release, the Realme 16 Pro models are confirmed to be released via Flipkart, a popular e-retailer platform in India. Looking at the teaser image posters, the Realme 16 Pro series can be seen in an attractive new look. Naoto Fukasawa, a master designer, helped design the Realme 16 Pro.

Interestingly, the camera module of the smartphone looks quite similar to the OnePlus 15, just flipped horizontally. So you get a dual tone look with a matte finish on the rear panel and a shiny camera module. The Realme 16 Pro series was also teased in multiple color options, which include Camellia Pink, Orchid Purple, Master Gold, and Pebble Gray.

Realme 16 Pro in Camellia Pink and Orchid Purple

Based on what we know so far, the Realme 16 Pro+ model is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon chipset. Rumors hint at a massive 7,000mAh battery pack that could support 80W wired fast charging. On the front, this model could sport a tall 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 50MP selfie shooter. Meanwhile, the rear packs a triple camera setup that includes a 200MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide angle lens, and a periscope telephoto shooter.

It will be the company’s first phone to come equipped with the company’s new in-house imaging system called the Luma Color Image technology. Continue reading ahead to learn more in detail about the imaging tech.

Luma Color Image promises refined portraits

Realme Luma Color Image tech

Realme has officially announced Luma Color Image as the foundation of portrait imaging on the new Realme 16 Pro series. Developed with tuning support from TÜV Rheinland, the system is designed to handle skin tones, lighting and colour reproduction with greater precision.

The Luma Color Image Lab recreates varied real-world lighting environments such as warm indoor scenes, dim cafes or vibrant mixed-light setups, allowing the imaging pipeline to be adjusted more accurately.

Instead of treating illumination and color as separate processes, the new approach matches them in a coordinated way, producing more consistent skin tones, depth and atmosphere. Realme claims the output offers richer detail, lifelike shadows and a closer match to natural light behaviour, enabling users to capture more emotive portraits in everything from outdoor sunlight to neon-lit nightlife.

Realme 16 Pro+: What to expect?

Previous reports have revealed that the Realme 16 Pro+ will feature a Snapdragon chipset described as stronger than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. It is expected to house a 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging

The Realme 16 Pro+ may arrive with a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel front camera and a triple rear system that may include a 200-mgeapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel lens, and a periscope telephoto camera.

The device will ship with Realme UI 7 based on Android 16 and three years of OS upgrades. It will be available in color options such as Master Gray, Master Gold and Camellia Pink have also surfaced. The series is widely expected to launch in early January 2026.

Realme has started teasing the arrival of the Realme 16 Pro series of smartphones in India. Its microsite, which is now available on Realme India’s website, has revealed key details about the lineup. Here’s a look at the details confirmed by the brand.

Realme 16 Pro+ to feature a powerful Snapdragon chip

Realme 16 Pro+ to feature Snapdragon chip

First of all, the microsite officially confirms the existence of the Realme 16 Pro+. This is quite welcoming as the brand skipped the Realme 15 Pro+ after announcing the Realme 14 Pro+.

Realme is yet to confirm its chipset, but the teaser reveals that it will have a Snapdragon chip that’s more powerful than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.

Rumors suggest that the Realme 16 Pro+ will pack a 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging. While these details are yet to be confirmed officially, the company revealed that the 16 Pro+’s battery can deliver 9.3 hours of gaming, 20.8 hours of Instagram surfing, up to 21 hours of video playback on YouTube, and up to 125 hours of music playback on Spotify.

Realme 16 Pro series

The series will come preloaded with Realme UI 7-based Android 16. It will be treated with three years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates. Speculations are rife that the series will go official on Jan. 6, 2026.

Realme 16 Pro+ specifications (rumored)

According to a report, the Realme 16 Pro+ will arrive in three shades, such as Master Gray, Master Gold, and Camellia Pink. It will be made available in multiple options, such as 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB.

The Realme 16 Pro+ could be equipped with a 6.78-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED screen, a 50-megapixel front camera, and a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The Realme 16 Pro is also expected to have all these specs along with a 200-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera system. The Pro+ may also feature the same rear cameras along with a periscope telephoto camera.

The higher end Realme 16 Pro+ will reportedly launch in three color options, namely Master Gray, Master Gold, and Camellia Pink. In the latest leak, Sanju also claims that the Realme 16 Pro+ will arrive with a telephoto lens for zoomed shots. Based on what we know so far, the Realme 16 Pro may be powered by a massive 7,000mAh battery pack, which could support 80W wired fast charging.

On the front, the device sports a tall 6.78-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 1.5J resolution, and a 50MP camera for selfies and video calls. Meanwhile, the rear has a 200MP main camera along with an 8MP ultra wide angle lens. Apart from the telephoto shooter, the rest of the specs of the Realme 16 Pro+ should be quite similar to the standard 16 Pro.

According to the leak, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G for India will come in Master Grey, Master Gold, and Camellia Pink. The available configurations include 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB.

While the company has not shown the device yet, the Realme 16 Pro+ may share the same overall styling as the Realme 16 Pro seen in newly surfaced images.

Realme 16 Pro design revealed

Last week, the Realme 16 Pro appeared in TENAA’s certification database in China. The listing initially revealed its full specifications, although images were missing at that time. The updated entry now includes images, confirming a flat front panel and a square rear camera island with rounded corners. It appears to contain three lenses and an LED flash, but TENAA data confirms a dual-camera arrangement.

The Realme 16 Pro measures 162.6 x 77.6 x 7.75mm and weighs 192 grams. It has a 6.78-inch OLED screen delivering a 1.5K resolution of 2772 x 1272 pixels and may support a 144Hz refresh rate. The rear setup includes a 200-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel secondary lens, while the front houses a 50-megapixel camera.

It runs Android 16 with Realme UI 7 and features an unidentified 2.5GHz chip. Storage options range from 128GB to 1TB, with RAM options from 8GB to 16GB depending on the region. The phone includes a 7,000mAh typical battery, an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, and expected 80W charging.

In India, it will be available in options, such as 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB. The country will receive the device in shades like Pebble Grey, Master Gold, and Orchid Purple.

Realme C81 4G details

The same leak by Yadav reveals the existence of an entry-level Realme C81 4G phone. As per the leak, the phone is set to launch in 64GB and 128GB variants with 4GB of RAM in Storm Black and Glacier Blue.
