The new smartphone will launch as the first phone powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 810 processor. Ahead of the launch, Realme’s CEO has shared a photo of the phone.

The Realme 8s 5G is shown in blue in the photo and while we can only see the rear side, there are a number of details it reveals. For starters, the Realme 8s 5G will have triple rear cameras even though the camera array is set up to look like there are four sensors. This is the same design as that of the Realme 8 5G.

We make products with the latest tech but we don't compromise on the design either. Do you like the all-new #realme8s5G? pic.twitter.com/ERLus7As5s

We can also see the indentation on the side of the frame where the power button is positioned, which confirms that the Realme 8s 5G will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The volume buttons are on the left side of the frame.

In this photo, the phone is shown in blue with a light streak that runs from the top to the bottom of the phone. However, we expect there will be other colors at launch.

Apart from having a Dimensity 810 processor, it has been reported that the Realme 8s 5G will have a 6.5-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The processor will be paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
