Realme is expected to launch the new Realme 9 Pro series in the global market on February 15. A day later, i.e. on February 16, it is tipped to launch in the Indian market. Now, a new leak from 91Mobiles reveals the Indian Cricketer KL Rahul holding the Realme 9 Pro taking us closer to the phone’s India launch.

This is the first time that we get to see the actual device in a live image. The image shows the phone’s Blue color variant. The color seems to have a reflective glossy shade. It confirms a triple camera system on the phone with two lenses placed one after another, vertically, and the third lens offset to the two lenses.

Previously, the smartphone’s specs were leaked in all glory. The Realme 9 Pro will be a 5G smartphone with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display. It will be a 120Hz refresh rate panel with Full-HD+ resolution. It will boast a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera system and a 16MP selfie camera lens.

It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC coupled with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. It will house a 5,000mAh battery with support for a 33W fast charging technology. The device will have a side-facing fingerprint scanner and will run on Android 12 OS.

Apart from this, the phone’s pricing was recently tipped. The Realme 9 Pro series is said to start at Rs. 15,000(~$201) in India. Having said that, we can expect the phone’s all variants to cost under Rs. 20,000(~$267).

Realme 9 Pro RAM & storage variants revealed ahead of Indian launch

Last week, the Realme 9 Pro was subject to multiple leaks which revealed its detailed spec sheet and also hinted at its pricing. And now, a tipster has revealed the storage variants of the upcoming device.

According to a MySmartPrice report, tipster Mukul Sharma has stated that the Realme 9 Pro will be sold in India in three storage configurations. Surprisingly, the storage offered across all the variants will be the same being 128GB. However, the handset will be available in three different RAM options of 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB. This means that the Realme 9 Pro will debut in India with 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+128GB RAM and storage options.

Realme 9 Pro specs (rumored)

The Realme 9 Pro has is rumored to feature a 6.6-inch Full-HD+(2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 399 PPI pixel density, and HDR10 support.

As for the cameras, the smartphone has a triple camera system at the rear. It sports a 64MP main lens with an f/1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by an 8MP lens with an f/2.3 aperture, and lastly a 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera will be able to shoot 4k videos and record 960fps slow-motion captures.

On the front end, it will feature a 16MP lens with an f/2.5 aperture. It will be capable of shooting 1080p videos. In the raw hardware department, the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC clocked at 2.2Ghz. It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging technology. It will run on Android 11 out of the box. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.0, and NFC will be some of its connectivity options. It will be a 5G smartphone and will have a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Realme 9 Pro pricing and color variants

Realme India CEO Madhev Sheth has already revealed that the upcoming Realme 9 Pro series will be priced above Rs. 15,000(~$201) in the Indian market. Additionally, It is said to come in three color variants – Midnight Black, Aurora Green, and Sunrise Blue.

Realme’s upcoming 9 lineup is in the talks lately. Earlier, the series’ pricing was tipped, later we got to see the specs of the Realme 9 Pro+. Now, a detailed specs sheet of the Realme 9 Pro has surfaced on the Internet taking us closer to its release.

The specs sheet has been shared by PassionateGeekz, it reveals that the smartphone has a plastic body with a glossy design. It features a 6.6-inch Full-HD+(2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is a Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 399 PPI pixel density, and HDR10 support.

Earlier today, Realme took wraps off its first Realme 9 series phone dubbed Realme 9i in India, and now, the company is all set to launch its other siblings soon. The company CEO Madhav Sheth on Twitter revealed that Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ are soon coming to India. In addition to this, Sheth has also revealed the price range of the phones.

Sheth, in discussion with folks at 91Mobiles, revealed that the upcoming Realme 9 Pro series will be priced above Rs. 15,000(~$201) in the Indian market. Both the Pro and Pro+ will have 5G connectivity, good value, and better design. Having said, that we can expect the device to compete with the upcoming Redmi Note 11 series which is riffed to launch in India soon. The vanilla Realme 9 is also reported to arrive in India.

Coming to the specifications, the Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ had earlier appeared on certification sites like BIS, TUV, NBTC, and others. The 9 Pro’s renders were also recently surfaced on the Internet.

The Realme 9 Pro is touted to feature a 6.59-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will come with a triple camera system at the rear and a single 16MP selfie lens. The setup will go by the 64MP main lens, an 8MP secondary sensor, and the last 2MP lens.

The Pro+, on the other hand, will bring similar specs on the table but it will have a few betterments. At the moment, we do not have any specifications about the device.
