Realme has been currently working on providing the Android 13-based Realme UI 3.0 update to its smartphone as early as possible. The Realme 9 Pro 5G, the brand’s budget-oriented smartphone, is now eligible for the open beta program of Android 13-based RealmeUI 3.0. The device was launched back in the month of February 2022 running Android 12 Realme UI 3.0 right out of the box. The brand has now officially started the open beta program for the device.

Interested users can apply for it, and after a quick verification, their device will get an OTA update of the Android 13-based Realme UI 3.0 update. Users of the Realme 9 Pro in India are eligible to apply for the Android 13 Open Beta program, which was announced earlier today by the firm. To be eligible for the program, users must have their Realme 9 Pro firmware updated to one of the following versions: RMX3471 11 A.42, RMX3471 11 A.43, RMX3471 11 A.44, or RMX3471 11 A.45.

To enrol yourself for the open beta program, head over to Settings >> Software Update >> Tap on the setting icon in the top right corner >> Trail version >> Fill up all the required details >> Tab on Submit. This is how you can apply for it, now the application will go to the brand for verification. If your application gets verified successfully, you will receive the update in a few hours.

The company has advised users to keep at least 5GB of internal storage free, or else the upgrade will fail. Additionally, Realme 9 Pro users must confirm that the battery level on their device is at least 60% before beginning the installation procedure. The device must not be rooted, and the brand recommends making a backup for added security.

The chipset is paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage that you can furtherly expand with a micro SD. Note that, while Realme 9 Pro and OnePlus CE 2 Lite 5G come in a 6/128 GB memory configuration and run Android 12 out of the box, the OPPO Reno8 Lite 5G only provides 8 GB of RAM and it still runs Android 11, even though it is based on ColorOS 12. This means that Reno8 Lite will get fewer Android updates.

Camera

These three handsets come with exactly the same camera departments, with the exception of the Realme 9 Pro. All of them sport a 64 MP main sensor and a 2 MP macro camera, but the Realme 9 Pro replaces the useless depth sensor of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G and the OPPO Reno8 Lite 5G with a useful ultrawide sensor. With the OPPO Reno8 Lite 5G and the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, you get bigger 5000 mAh batteries. So, even though the Reno8 Lite 5G has a more efficient AMOLED display, its two rivals have longer battery life. All of these phones feature 33W fast charging.

The starting price of the Realme 9 Pro is €259/$272, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G starts from €299/$315, and the OPPO Reno8 Lite 5G sells for €399/$420. The Realme 9 Pro+ has an OLED Full HD+ panel as well, but without Dolby Vision and HDR10+, with a lower 90 Hz refresh rate, and with a smaller 6.4-inch diagonal. But there is an interesting killer feature of this device that you should know: the in-display fingerprint reader doubles as a heart rate sensor.

Specs & Software

The Xiaomi Civi 1S are very close in terms of hardware and performance, but we have to pick a winner. The Snapdragon 778G Plus mobile platform found on the Xiaomi Civi 1S is actually more powerful than the MediaTek Dimensity 920 found on the Realme 9 Pro+. Further, the Xiaomi mid-ranger comes with up to 12 GB of RAM, while you get only 8 GB of RAM with the Realme one. So you will get better CPU, GPU, and multi-tasking performance with the new Civi. Both the phones come with Android 12 out of the box and custom user interfaces on top: MIUI 13 and Realme UI 3.0 based on ColorOS 12, respectively.

Camera

The best camera phone in this comparison is the Realme 9 Pro+ for one single reason: it has a flagship-class main camera. We are talking about the Sony IMX766 sensor with a 50 MP resolution and OIS. Maybe the Realme device will last a bit longer because of its smaller display. The charging speeds are similar too because they feature 55W fast charging and 60W fast charging, respectively.

Price

Xiaomi Civi 1S starts from €330/$347, while you can find the Realme 9 Pro+ at €400/$421 globally. The Civi is still not available globally. Which of these phones is the best? There is no definitive answer: the Civi 1S has a better design, display, and chipset, while the Realme 9 Pro+ is a better camera phone with faster charging.

Nowadays, top-tier flagships became very expensive, but you can get great mid-rangers and, if you are not an advanced user, maybe you won’t notice the difference. Among the latest good mid-rangers released by mainstream brands, there is the new Xiaomi 11i, which is totally different from the flagship killer Xiaomi 11i launched in 2021. But it has several rivals, especially in the Indian market. Two of the best are definitely the Realme 9 Pro Plus and the OPPO F21 Pro 5G, and this comparison will highlight the differences between the specifications of these three devices.

Design

The OPPO F21 Pro 5G has the most attractive design. The OPPO F21 Pro 5G is less impressive because it has a standard refresh rate and it lacks the HDR certification.

If you need the best performance, then you should go either for the Xiaomi 11i or the Realme 9 Pro Plus. They are powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 920 5G mobile platform running at a max frequency of 2.5 GHz and paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. We did not recommend the OPPO F21 Pro 5G because it has a lower-end Snapdragon 695 5G mobile platform and just 128 GB of internal storage. The Realme 9 Pro Plus and the OPPO F21 Pro 5G run Android 12 out of the box, while the Xiaomi 11i still comes with Android 11.

Camera

The best camera phone is the Realme 9 Pro Plus thanks to its main sensor: a 50 MP Sony IMX766 with a 50 MP resolution and OIS. The silver medal goes to the 108 MP main camera of the Xiaomi 11i.

Even the most advanced memory configuration is the same, with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. So there should not be a big difference in terms of performance. But you should note that the Realme 9 Pro Plus runs Android 12 out of the box, while the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus is still based on Android 11. This means that the Realme mid-ranger might get more interesting software support.

Camera

If you are looking for the best camera phone, then you should go for the Realme 9 Pro Plus. On the other hand, the Realme 9 Pro runs Android 12 out of the box, while the POCO X4 Pro 5G is still based on Android 11. Both the phones feature a micro SD slot to expand the internal storage, as well as a UFS 2.2 native storage.

The POCO X4 Pro 5G is the winner of the camera comparison thanks to a better 108 MP main sensor capturing a higher level of detail in bright light conditions. The sensor is paired with an 8 MP ultrawide camera and a 2 MP macro camera. In both cases, the selfie camera is a 16 MP sensor, but the Realme 9 Pro provides a brighter f/2.1 focal aperture.

Battery

OnePlus just launched its first midrange of 2022: the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G. And the same did its sister company Realme with its 9 Series including the Realme 9 Pro. Even though the latter does not include 5G in the name, these two devices are both among the best 5G mid-rangers released this year. And for those who do not know smartphones very well, it may be hard to choose. That is why we decided to publish a specs comparison between these handsets: here you will find the main differences between the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G and the Realme 9 Pro.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G vs Realme 9 Pro

Design

Do you hate phones with big dimensions? If so, then you should go for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G. It is more compact than Realme 9 Pro and its design is attractive thanks to its gradually-protruding camera module. It is even thinner and lighter than its rival, with a thickness of just 7.8 mm and a weight of just 173 grams. If you do not mind about dimensions, then you may prefer the Realme 9 Pro because the Sunrise Blue color option is the first color-changing phone launched in the global market. It is able to change color in about five seconds if you put it under direct sunlight or UV rays. But it is a bigger and chunkier phone because it includes a bigger display and battery.

Display

The most beautiful display belongs to the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G. It is equipped with an AMOLED panel with a diagonal of 6.43 inches, a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and the HDR10+ standard. Unfortunately, the Realme 9 Pro has an IPS LCD panel with less impressive colors, but if you are a gamer, you might like it because of its higher 120 Hz refresh rate. Further, it has a wider 6.6-inch diagonal which is better for gaming and productivity. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G includes an in-display fingerprint reader, while the Realme 9 Pro has a side-mounted biometric sensor.

Specs & Software

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 900 chipset, while the Realme 9 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset by Qualcomm. The MediaTek Dimensity 900 is actually stronger than the Snapdragon 695 5G as it is born to compete with Snapdragon 7xx processors. The difference is not huge, but the Dimensity 900 is superior, and, given that both the phones offer up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G wins the hardware comparison. On the other hand, the Realme 9 Pro runs Android 12 out of the box, while its rival is still based on Android 11. That is the reason why Realme 9 Pro users are supposed to get longer software support with major Android updates.

Camera

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G and the Realme 9 Pro have exactly the same rear camera departments. They include a 64 MP main camera with an f/1.8 focal aperture, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2 MP macro camera. That is why it is a draw when it comes to the camera specifications. The two mid-rangers also come with 16 MP selfie cameras.

Battery

The most important pro of the Realme 9 Pro over the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is the battery capacity. It is equipped with a bigger 5000 mAh battery and it is able to provide longer battery life in a lot of scenarios. On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G comes with 65W fast charging, while its opponent stops at 33W.

Price

The starting price of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is €359/$407 in the European market, while the Realme 9 Pro begins at €329/$373. There is no definitive winner of this comparison as each of these devices offer their pro and cons. With the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G you get a sleeker design, a better AMOLED display, and faster charging, while the Realme 9 Pro has a bigger battery and a more affordable price. Redmi K50G – A gaming smartphone like no other

On February 16, the Redmi K50G went official in China as the first device in the Redmi K50 series. The gaming smartphone is the successor of last year’s Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. It not only comes with a new branding but also updated specs for a starting price of ¥3299 ($521).

The handset is unlike any other gaming smartphone in the market. It features a subtle design instead of being flashy. There’s also a Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team Edition of this phone.

The Redmi K50G offers features like a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, liquid cooling system, magnetic shoulder buttons, quad speakers, x-axis linear vibration motor, three WiFi antennas, 64MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup, 20MP selfie camera, 4,700mAh battery, and 120W fast charging.

The handset was also accompanied by Redmi’s first gaming router dubbed as Redmi Router AX5400.

REDMAGIC 7 Series – Gaming smartphones with all bells and whistles

The REDMAGIC 7 series includes two models, namely REDMAGIC 7 and REDMAGIC 7 Pro. The duo was unveiled on February 17. The specs of these phones are nearly identical, except for a few additional features on the Pro.

They come with a 6.8-inch FHD+ 165Hz OLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, liquid cooling system, cooling fan, 4,500mAh battery, and 120W fast charging. On the other hand, the Pro model arrives with a dedicated in-house gaming chipset called Red Core 1, an under-display camera, and up to 135W fast charging.

The REDMAGIC 7 and REDMAGIC 7 Pro start at ¥3,899 ($616) and ¥4,799 ($758) respectively. Apart from regular colors, they also come in a transparent edition.

Nothing teases entry into the smartphone category

Carl Pei’s Nothing may soon enter the smartphone category. Cryptic tweets by the executive and the official Android and Snapdragon handles on February 16 hint at an imminent announcement.

So far, the year-old company has one product in its portfolio in the form of Nothing ear (1), a critically acclaimed pair of truly wireless earphones. Other than a smartphone, it is also being rumored to release a power bank called Nothing power (1).

Probably, the firm may reveal more details at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2022, which is scheduled to kickstart on February 28.

HONOR ranked second in China in Q4 2021

Within a year from being sold by HUAWEI to Zhixin New Information Technology Co. Ltd., HONOR’s smartphone shipments reached the second position in its home market China in Q4 2021.

The brand was only second to Apple with a 16.7% market share as compared to 7.5% a year earlier. Though the iPhone maker had a 21.7% share in the final quarter of last year, it only grew 13% YoY, while HONOR’s growth skyrocketed by a 100% YoY.

The HONOR Magic3 was also the most-shipped premium Android smartphone during this period.

realme 9 Pro series brings flagship camera to mid-range

After teasing for days, the realme 9 Pro series made its debut on February 16 at last. The most interesting of the two phones is definitely the realme 9 Pro+.

 The Pro+ looks like a budget smartphone with a huge chin and a 90Hz AMOLED display. But it comes with a flagship 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera, which gives tough competition to almost every handset in the segment and above.

The device starts at ₹24,999 for the base 6GB + 128GB memory configuration in India. The brand is also expected to release a Free Fire Limited Edition soon. But its availability in India is a mystery as the mobile game was recently banned in the country by the central government.

Chrome OS Flex makes your old PCs and Macs useful

Chrome OS Flex is nothing but an official Google release of Cloudready whose developer Neverware was acquired by the search giant in December 2020.

With Google at the helm, this fork of Chrome OS designed to run on Windows and Mac could get popular once it releases to the public after the early access. The Mountain View-based tech giant claims that the operating system can be installed on devices that are up to 13 years old.

Though it doesn’t offer all the features of the regular Chrome OS at the moment, it is more than enough to make an old laptop or desktop with less powerful hardware useful.

Possible Pixel 7 series appear in Android 13 code

With the release of Android 13 Developer Preview 1, details of the next-generation Pixels have started emerging. According to a report by 9to5Google, the upcoming Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are codenamed Cheetah and Panther respectively.

They will be powered by a new Tensor chip codenamed Cloudripper. Carrying model number GS201, this SoC will likely arrive with an Exynos Modem 5300 with model number g5300b.

Unfortunately, that’s all the information available regarding the successors of Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

Windows 11 users can now use Android apps natively

Microsoft finally brings Android apps support for Windows 11 in the stable channel. Once updated to build 22000.526, users will be able to install a limited number of Android applications from the Amazon App Store.

Unfortunately, the feature is currently limited to the United States. It should be available in more regions in the coming days.

ColorOS hits 500 million users globally

OPPO’s ColorOS has come a long way since its inception. The once hated Android skin by international critics has now become one of the most preferred ones.

At the same time, with the entry of the company into new markets, its shipments are in increasing trend. Hence, it is not surprising to learn that the monthly active users of ColorOS have exceeded 500 million globally.

The number could go even high if OnePlus also switches to ColorOS in international markets.

Motorola Frontier – An upcoming smartphone with a 194MP camera

Motorola is soon expected to release a high-end smartphone codenamed Frontier. Last week, we got to see this phone in a high-quality image in almost all the angles.

The device is rumored to come with a 194MP Samsung S5KHP1 primary camera, a 5MP Samsung SKJN1SQ03 ultra-wide camera, a 12MPl Sony IMX663 telephoto camera, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC, and a 6.7-inch curved OLED display.

Foldable smartphone shipments increased by 264.3% in 2021

Last week, a report by IDC revealed that the shipments of foldable smartphones totaled 7.1 million units in 2021. For comparison, the number was only 1.9 million in 2020.

In other words, the foldable smartphone market grew by a whopping 264.3% YoY. The market research company forecasts the growth to hit a compound annual growth rate(CAGR) of 69.9% by 2025.

Realme 9 Pro+ Indian price and offers

The Realme 9 Pro Plus comes in three memory and storage configurations – 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. These variants are priced at

The smartphone is available for purchase on Flipkart and the official Realme website. Realme has partnered with HDFC Bank for the launch of their Realme 9 Pro Plus therefore, users of HDFC Debit can Credit Cards can avail an Instant discount of Rs. 2000 on their purchase. The offer is available on both Flipkart and the Realme website. Additionally, Flipkart is offering four more offers that interested customers can check out on their site.

Realme 9 Pro specifications and features

The Realme 9 Pro flaunts a 6.59-inch punch-hole display. The IPS LCD screen delivers up to a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. A 16-megapixel selfie camera is lodged inside the display punch-hole.

The rear camera setup of the Realme 9 Pro has a 64-megapixel primary camera. It is coupled with an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The power button available on its right edge is integrated with a fingerprint scanner.

The Snapdragon 695 that powers the likes of the Vivo T1 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro (global), and Moto G71 5G, is present under the hood of the Realme 9 Pro. The device comes with 6 GB / 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It has got a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Just two days ago, the Realme 9 Pro Series finally went official and at the same time, it debuted in the global market including Europe. The new lineup is composed of three models: Realme 9 Pro, Realme 9i, and the first Pro Plus variant of the Number Series: the Realme 9 Pro+. While the 9i is a lower-midrange phone without 5G, the Realme 9 Pro and the Pro Plus are upper-midrange devices including the 5G connectivity. But these are not the only differences between these handsets: you will find all the main ones in this specs comparison.

Realme 9 Pro vs Realme 9 Pro Plus vs Realme 9i

Design

The most impressive design is definitely the Sunrise Blue color option of the Realme 9 Pro+. Besides being elegant and catchy, it is the first phone launched in the global and European market that is able to change its color. In order to modify the color of the body, you just need to place it under direct sunlight and wait for about five seconds. The Realme 9 Pro has the same design as the Pro Plus, but it lacks the color-changing back. The 9i is different and its color options are less impressive, but it is still a beautiful phone if we consider the other devices in its price range.

Display

The best display of the trio belongs to the Realme 9 Pro Plus. It is the only one to pack an AMOLED display, so it is able to show richer colors and deeper blacks. It is a smaller 6.4-inch panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, and it comes with an integrated fingerprint reader. The Realme 9 Pro takes the silver medal with an IPS display sporting a Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The 9i is the same with the exception of the refresh rate: in this case, it is lower and it stops at 90 Hz.

Specs & Software

The Realme 9 Pro+ is equipped with the most powerful processor: the Mediatek Dimensity 920 5G, followed by the 9 Pro fueled by the Snapdragon 695 5G. These two phones offer up to 8 GB of RAM but only the Pro Plus reaches 256 GB of internal storage, while the Pro stops at 128 GB. The Realme 9i has an inferior Snapdragon 680 mobile platform which, unlike Snapdragon 695 and Dimensity 920, lacks the 5G support. So you not only get worse CPU and GPU performance but even inferior connectivity. Realme 9 Pro and Pro Plus run Android 12 and Realme UI 3.0 out of the box, while the 9i is still based on Android 11 and Realme UI 2.0.

Camera

The Realme 9 Pro Plus can be considered a high-end camera phone. Its main camera is a Sony IMX766 with a 50 MP resolution and OIS: the same main camera you can find on several flagships such as the OPPO Find X3 Pro. We can not tell you the same about the 9 Pro and the 9i packing 64 and 50 MP main cameras with inferior sensors.

Battery

Despite the Pro Plus being the most expensive one, Realme 9 Pro and 9i come with bigger batteries and they can provide a longer battery life. On the other hand, the Pro Plus features faster charging (65W).

Price

Realme 9i starts from €219/$248 in the European market, the 9 Pro begins at €319/$361, and the Pro+ starts from €379/$429. Which one would you pick if you had to choose the best value for money?

It’s that time of the year when we see a new realme Number Series and this year we’ve got the Realme 9 series for budget customers. In this article, we’ll focus on the top-end model in the lineup, the realme 9 Pro Plus. So let’s see what upgrades are available in this new plus model.

Realme 9 Pro Plus Review: Design & Display

The design of the realme 9 Pro Plus is still similar to the previous realme phones. In fact, the lens design is basically the same as the GT 2 series.

The SIM Card Tray can hold two SIM cards, but not a Micro SD card. There is an NFC and headphone jack, but no IR blaster. The vibration motor has been upgraded to an X-axis linear motor and when you are typing, it feels very crisp.

The speakers have also been upgraded to stereo dual speakers. Remember that fluorescent back cover of realme 8 pro?

This time the 9 Pro Plus has a new technology on the back cover as well. The realme 9 Pro Plus comes in a new Sunrise Blue shade, which we’ve got here. This is the first time realme has used a Chameleon Design. This Light shift design allows your back cover to change color when exposed to sunlight.

If you are indoors or in a place without sunlight, this phone looks just plain blue. Shiny and sparkly, like the sky at night. When you are exposed to the sunlight for a while, this phone will turn red. It’s like the sun slowly rising in the morning, very beautiful. I am sure there will be many people who will like this design.

Who wouldn’t like a phone that changes color, right?

The screen of realme 9 Pro Plus has not changed much compared to last year’s 8 Pro. It’s still a 1080P resolution AMOLED Display, but the refresh rate has been upgraded to 90Hz. And there is also DC dimming. The lower bezel is still as thick as ever, I personally hope realme can make the lower bezel a little narrower. The fingerprint recognition type is In-display fingerprint recognition, and heart rate measurement is possible. The colors are vibrant and it also has AOD. But you can’t say the realme 9 Pro Plus screen isn’t improved, after all it has an upgraded refresh rate. But it’s really not a big upgrade. At least you won’t be buying this phone for this screen.

Realme 9 Pro Plus Review: Hardware & Gaming

The realme 9 Pro Plus is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920, a mid-range processor that we’ve seen in the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro Plus China versions, and has a Benchmark score that compares side-by-side with the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus China version. Antutu is close to 500,000 points. 3D Mark 2300 points. GeekBench 5 scores are also a bit higher than the 11 Pro Plus for both single and multi-core. Probably because realme 9 Pro plus uses the Vapor Chamber Cooling System, the larger heatsink area allows the 9 Pro plus to unleash even more performance.

The actual gaming performance is also in line with my expectations. PUBG Mobile only runs at Extreme Frame rate on Smooth Graphics. Like the Redmi model, it runs at 60fps throughout.

Brightridge is locked at 22fps on the realme 9 Pro Plus, and the phone’s temperature is only 36 degrees Celsius. So we can’t see the real gaming performance of realme 9 Pro Plus either.

The Genshin Impact without locked frame rates averaged 41 fps, a full 7 fps higher than the Note 11 Pro Plus, and the body temperature was only 42 degrees Celsius. But that’s not to say that the 9 Pro Plus is suitable for Genshin, as the large frame rate fluctuations doesn’t make for the best gaming experience either.

So although it is an improvement over the previous realme 8 Pro’s Snapdragon 720G, the Dimensity 920 is still an under-performing processor.

If you’re a devoted gamer, consider realme’s GT series.

Realme 9 Pro Plus Review: Camera

We thought using HM2 sensor as the main camera on a mid-range phone was already a luxury. But realme 9 Pro Plus actually uses IMX 766 as its main camera at this price point, and it also has OIS, which means it has flagship-level photo potential.

Main Camera

In fact its main camera does manage to reach close to top flagship levels as well. The daytime colors are vibrant, and the dynamic range is excellent. Thanks to this excellent sensor, you can get an excellent picture even if you use 2x digital crop to take a picture in good light. If the scene being photographed is not too complicated, even a 5x image is sufficient for most people. When night falls, the IMX 766’s strength can only be fully realized. Every photo is very clear and sharp. Both exposure, dynamic range and noise control are top level. And because of the addition of OIS, there is basically no blurring of photos due to hand shake. I’ll put a photo comparison with Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus in the same scene here, and you’ll see how good realme 9 Pro is. To be honest, this is the first time I’ve gotten such good photos on a Budget phone. If you showed me these photos and asked me to guess which phone took them, I would never guess that it would be a mid-range phone that could take these photos.

Although it has a great main camera, it doesn’t mean it’s perfect. The biggest drawback is that its lens coating is not good enough. It causes the reflection of the light to appear in your picture. And there is also a lot of flare, which will ruin your photos.

Realme 9 Pro plus’s night mode will improve the dynamic range of your photos, but it will also reduce the exposure and make the photos darker. This bug has also appeared in previous realme phones. They may fix this problem in new system version after sale.

Ultra Wide Camera

The ultra-wide camera doesn’t perform as well against the main camera. If there is enough light, the ultra-wide camera performs quite well, at least the colors are pleasing and the dynamic range is okay. But when there is not enough light, this 8 MP ultra wide angle camera is not so good. Whatever you shoot is blurred, like a layer of fog in front of the lens. The quality of photos will be much better when you turn on the night mode.

Of course, it may be because our system version is not the final official version, so realme still needs to optimize the photo effect in auto mode of ultra wide angle camera before sending the phone to the users.

This is the main camera 4k 30 fps video recording footage, you can see the picture is very clear and natural colors. But you must have noticed that the footage is very shaky. Because of its weak performance, there is no way to add EIS in the 4K resolution, only rely on OIS is no way to do a stable image. Dynamic range is also very dependent on the performance of the processor, so dynamic range is actually not particularly good. The ultra-wide camera can only record 1080P 30fps video. The low quality of the video made me wonder for a while whether I had chosen a 1080P resolution. My advice is to try to avoid using ultra-wide camera video.

Charging & Battery Life

This time the box is designed to look better than the previous one. Inside the box there is a charger, charging cable and phone case. The charger is 65w, but the phone only supports up to 60w. The Realme 9 Pro series will be announced in Europe and India on Feb. 16. While the Realme 9i has debuted in other markets like Vietnam and India in recent weeks, it will be made official with Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ in Europe on Tuesday. Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has tweeted the variants, color options, and pricing of the Realme 9i, 9 Pro, and 9 Pro+ smartphones.

Ambhore revealed that the Realme 9i will be coming to Europe in two variants such as 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. These variants will be priced at €219 (~$248) and €239 (~$271), respectively. Both models will be priced €10 more in Italy. The device will come in Prism Black and Prism Blue.

The Realme 9 Pro will come in two variants such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage in Europe. They are priced at €319 (~$362) and €349 (~$396), respectively. The base model will cost €10 more and while the higher model will carry the same pricing in Italy. The Realme 9 Pro will be available in three colors such as Midnight Black, Sunrise Blue, and Aurora Green.

In Europe, the Realme 9 Pro+ will carry pricing of €379 (~$429) for an 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage version. Some European markets will get 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage edition of the 9 Pro+. In Italy, it will come in two options such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. These models will be priced at €399 (~$452) and €439 (~$498), respectively, in Italy. Realme will take wraps off the Realme 9 series next week in both the Indian and European markets. Before its debut, we saw the live images of the Realme 9 Pro+. Now, the tipster Yogesh Brar has detailed the camera specs of the smartphone.

As per the tipster, the Realme 9 Pro+ will come with a triple camera system at the rear. It will have a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with an f/1.88 aperture. One of the major highlights of the cameras will be the Optical Image Stabilization(OIS) support. The phone’s primary sensors will have OIS support.

Furthermore, the secondary lens of the device will be an 8MP ultra-wide lens. It will be a Sony IMX355 sensor with a 119-degree field of view and an aperture of f/2.25. Lastly, the smartphone will have a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. At the front, the device gets a 16MP Sony IMX471 lens with an f/2.45 aperture. Unsurprisingly, it will have Electronic Image Stabilization(EIS) support.

Apart from the cameras, the Realme 9 Pro+ will pack some powerful internals. The device will have a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset paired with 6GB, 8GB of RAM. It will have up to 256GB of internal storage options. The phone will come with a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate.

Realme 9 Pro 5G and Realme 9 Pro+ 5G will be announced at 1:30 PM (local time) on Feb. 16 in India. The rumor mill has already leaked a lot of information about the Realme 9 Pro series. Equal Leaks has now shared retail box images of the two phones to reveal their pricing.

Reports have revealed that the RMX3472 model number belongs to the Realme 9 Pro, while the RMX3393 is associated with the Realme 9 Pro+. The retail box of these phones will include a handset, a charger, a USB data cable, a SIM ejector tool, a protective case, a quick guide, and a safety guide.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the Realme 9 Pro 5G’s retail box carries a price tag of Rs 18,999 (~$254). On the other hand, the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G has a pricing of Rs 24,999 (~$334). Probably, these prices belong to the base models of the two phones. The retail box pricing leak suggests that the base variants could be made available for purchase with lower price tags of around Rs 16,999 (~$227) and Rs 22,999 (~$307), respectively. The authenticity of the above images could not be confirmed. Hence, it is unclear whether the images are real or fake.

On January 31, The New York Times announced its acquisition of popular word game Wordle for an undisclosed price in the low seven figures. The publication assured the existing and new players that the game will continue to remain free to play and there will be no changes in its gameplay.

At the same time, Josh Wardle, the developer of the game, issued a statement that he will work with NYT to transfer wins and streak of long-time players. Wordle was originally released in October but its popularity skyrocketed in January.

Craob X – A laptop without ports

An unknown company called Craob announced a portless concept laptop dubbed Craob X last Monday (January 31). We don’t think this product will ever hit the market, however, the idea is interesting.

This notebook without ports has slim bezels around the display, 7mm thickness, and 0.8kg weight. The computer charges via a magnetic charger that attaches to its back like an Apple MagSafe charger for iPhones.

Lastly, this charger also acts as a hub for ports. It includes all the essential ports, including an SD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Apex Legends now available on smartphones

Apex Legends: Mobile finally gets a soft launch after months of beta testing. The battle royale game is now available for download on Android in countries like Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand.

Whereas, interested players in other regions can pre-register the game on the Google Play Store. Unfortunately, there’s no word on iOS as of now.

The developer of the game had previously confirmed that it will be fully released for Android and iOS by 2022.

India to get 5G networks soon

On February 1, the Finance Minister of India officially confirmed that the auction of 5G airwaves in the country will begin later this year. The commercial rollout of the next-gen mobile networks is expected to start by the end of March 2023.

At the same time, the government is planning to introduce fiber internet connections across all villages by 2025.

A monitor with a 500Hz+ refresh rate

BOE is slowly growing to be an alternative to Samsung Display and LG Display. The company has announced various breakthroughs in the past. Last week, it showcased the world’s first monitor with a 500Hz+ refresh rate.

OPPO Reno7 series debut in India

Google Chrome gets a new logo

Google Chome gets a new logo after 8 years. The new logo is slightly different for every platform. They will go live in the next few months.

First and foremost, there’s no change in color except their saturation. Secondly, the logo no longer has shadows.

Sony is acquiring Bungie

A few days after the Microsoft-Activision Blizzard acquisition deal, Sony made an announcement of it buying Bungie on January 31. The deal is said to cost $3.6 billion for the Japanese tech giant.

The realme 9 Pro and realme 9 Pro+ are all set to be launched in India on February 16th, and ahead of the launch, a new unboxing video has provided perhaps our most detailed real-life look at the devices yet.

The unboxing video from “The Box” on YouTube reveals the complete in-box contents you get with both devices for the first time. In the realme 9 Pro+ box, there’s a standard TPU case, a SIM tool, the phone itself, a 65W SuperDart charging brick, and finally a USB-C cable. You get similar contents in the realme 9 Pro box as well, although the charging brick has been switched for a more standard 33W unit.

The realme 9 Pro+ has been described as slim and light in hand and its left edge features the volume rocker along with the SIM tray while the right has the power button. On top, there’s a noise cancellation mic while on the bottom you get a headphone jack, a speaker unit, and a USB-C port.

On placing the devices side by side, the reviewer right away noted a difference in the display quality between the two, with the realme 9 Pro+ not only appearing brighter but also a lot punchier. The Pro+ also appears to have slimmer bezels, although there is quite a bit of chin at the bottom. The 9 Pro model does offer a higher refresh rate though — 120Hz compared to 90Hz on the 9 Pro+.

The realme 9 Pro+ opts for an in-display fingerprint sensor while the 9 Pro keeps it on the right edge within the power button. Both work fairly fast, so no problems there. However, on the Pro+, there’s another nifty feature that allows using the in-display fingerprint sensor as a heartrate monitor, which can turn out to be quite useful if you don’t own a smartwatch/fitness band.

Also revealed was that the realme 9 Pro+ comes with a stereo speaker setup which is a step up from the single speaker unit on the realme 9 Pro, and gets sufficiently loud.

Realme 9 Pro series launch date is yet to be officially confirmed. The company is likely to confirm it later today or in the next few days. However, a YouTuber has seemingly spilt the launch date for the Indian market. As can be seen in the image below, the Realme 9 Pro lineup may go official at 1:30 PM (local time) on Feb. 16 in the country.

In the recent teasers, Realme has been touting the camera capabilities of the Realme 9 Pro lineup, which reportedly includes two models such as Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+. Smartphone OEMs have been providing the 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 lens on flagship smartphones. The “flagship camera in mid-range” text in the above image does indicate that the Realme 9 Pro series will feature the IMX766 camera. Reports have revealed that the same camera with OIS support will be available on the Realme 9 Pro+.

Speaking of Realme 9 Pro+, it will be arriving with an in-screen fingerprint scanner and a heart rate sensor. As can be seen in the above teaser, the Pro+ will be equipped with a color-changing rear shell. The 15-second clip shows that the back panel of the device is capable of changing the color of its back panel from Sunrise Blue to Glittery Red. According to Realme, the device can shift colors when it is exposed to sunlight at certain temperatures.

Realme 9 Pro+ specifications (rumoured)

Reports have revealed that the Realme 9 Pro+ will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ 90Hz display. It will be equipped with a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.

The Dimensity 920 chipset will fuel the Realme 9 Pro+ with 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM. It may run on Android 12 OS and come in 128 GB / 256 GB storage options. The device may come packed with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.

Realme 9 Pro+ key specifications

The Realme 9 Pro+ has a Super AMOLED display that offers a 90Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner, which can be used for tracking heart rate. The Dimensity 920 chipset will be present under the hood of the device, which will be coupled with vapor chamber liquid cooling.

While the battery size is not mentioned, the landing page reveals that the Realme 9 Pro+ will support 60W SuperDart fast charge technology. For photography, it features an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 triple camera unit. It will also carry support for NFC connectivity. It will carry support for color-shifting design.

Realme 9 Pro key specifications

The Realme 9 Pro supports a higher 120Hz refresh rate. It appears that the company may provide an LCD panel on the device. It will be equipped with the Snapdragon 695 mobile platform.

The rear shell of the device has a 64-megapixel triple camera unit. It will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W Dart charging. Realme is gearing up for the launch of the new Realme 9 Pro series for the global markets. But prior to its release, the company has just shared an official teaser that has revealed some of its color variants.

In a Twitter post, Realme’s Vice President, Madhav Sheth, offered us a look at two of the color variants of the upcoming 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ smartphones. The senior official’s tweet asked Twitter users about their preferences between the two colors, which included a Sunrise Blue and a Glittery Red. While the executive does not outright state that these colors are for the Realme 9 Pro series, we can safely assume that it’s for the upcoming smartphones since the 9 Pro was recently spotted in Sunrise Blue at the hands of a known Indian cricketer KL Rahul.

While the launch of both smartphones is just around the corner, we do have some specifications regarding these devices. The Realme 9 Pro+ is confirmed to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor alongside a Mali G68 GPU. On the other hand, the 9 Pro is expected to arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with an Adreno 619 GPU.

The Realme 9 Pro series is expected to go official in February. The brand is yet to officially confirm the launch date, however, a promotional poster recently revealed that it will debut on February 15. Ahead of that, information on memory configurations and the price of Realme 9 Pro+ for India emerge on the internet.

According to the industry source of RMLeaks, the Realme 9 Pro+ will be offered in three memory variants in total. But only two of them will be made available in India.

The 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB versions of the handset will be sold in India and most likely in almost all markets. Whereas, in Europe, customers will get an additional 8GB + 256 variant.

Talking about price, the Realme 9 Pro+ is said to retail at ₹20,999 for the 6GB + 128GB memory configuration in India. At the same time, the publication also says that the Realme 9 Pro will be available at ₹16,999 for the 4GB + 128GB model. Finally, the buyers will be able to grab them in three colors.

Realme is expected to launch the new Realme 9 Pro series in the global market on February 15.  A day later, i.e. on February 16, it is tipped to launch in the Indian market. Now, a new leak from 91Mobiles reveals the Indian Cricketer KL Rahul holding the Realme 9 Pro taking us closer to the phone’s India launch.

This is the first time that we get to see the actual device in a live image. The image shows the phone’s Blue color variant. The color seems to have a reflective glossy shade. It confirms a triple camera system on the phone with two lenses placed one after another, vertically, and the third lens offset to the two lenses.

Previously, the smartphone’s specs were leaked in all glory. The Realme 9 Pro will be a 5G smartphone with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display. It will be a 120Hz refresh rate panel with Full-HD+ resolution. It will boast a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera system and a 16MP selfie camera lens.

The device manages a single-core score of 818 points and a multi-core score of 2324 points.

Earlier rumors tip the Realme 9 Pro+ to come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen. The phone will get its juice from a 4,500mAh battery with the device also supporting 65W fast charging. The specs sheet has been shared by PassionateGeekz, it reveals that the smartphone has a plastic body with a glossy design. It features a 6.6-inch Full-HD+(2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is a Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 399 PPI pixel density, and HDR10 support.

As for the cameras, the smartphone has a triple camera system at the rear. It sports a 64MP main lens with an f/1.8 aperture. Sheth, in discussion with folks at 91Mobiles, revealed that the upcoming Realme 9 Pro series will be priced above Rs. 15,000(~$201) in the Indian market. Inside, the Pro is touted to have the Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery and is expected to have some sort of fast charging support.

The Pro+, on the other hand, will bring similar specs on the table but it will have a few betterments. At the moment, we do not have any specifications about the device.

Yesterday, SmartPrix shared sketches of the upcoming Realme 9 Pro smartphone that revealed its key design. Today, the publication has shared high-resolution renders and specs of the smartphone leaving us with very little to learn at the official unveiling.

As per the renders, the Realme 9 Pro has a new design, especially at the rear. The smartphone has a new camera island at the back. It sports a triple camera system with two lenses placed vertically and the third sensor slightly offset. It also has an LED flash beside the sensors.

The report reveals that the phone has a 64MP primary lens, an 8MP secondary lens, and a 2MP tertiary sensor. Upfront, it is touted to have a 16MP selfie camera.

It is a similar design to that of the recently launched sibling, the Realme 9i. Coming to the front, the phone has a large punch-hole display with narrow bezels. It is a 6.59-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, we aren’t sure whether it is an LCD panel or an AMOLED screen. Its screen resolution is also unknown, as of now. Interestingly, the display will double up as an in-display fingerprint scanner offering added security.

Apart from this, the smartphone is touted to come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, under the hood. It will be paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone may pack a 5,000mAh big battery.

The Realme 9 Pro will arrive in three colors the Midnight Black, Sunrise Blue, and Aurora Green.

Last year, Realme released the 8 Pro smartphones in India which was quite popular. The brand is reportedly working on the next generation of this numbered series dubbed the Realme 9 Pro series.

A new report from SmartPrix in collaboration with popular tipster OnLeaks reveals Realme 9 Pro series design sketches. According to these sketches, one of the devices in the Realme 9 Pro series lineup will have a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with thin bezels. The rear panel of the device reveals a triple camera setup which is in line with the camera module design revealed by early render leaks.

The sketch also reveals that the main camera on the device will have a customized Sony sensor. The camera bump appears to be minimum and the device can be expected to be around 8mm thick. The drawing also reveals the volume rocker located on the left as well as the power button on the right side. The Realme branding is present on the bottom left of the rear panel of the device.

Other than this, the Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ were recently tipped to debut in February this year. The phones are touted to get an initial European release followed by the rest of the markets.

Coming to the specs, the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ are expected to come powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC and Dimensity 920 SoC, respectively. As far as the Realme 9 Pro+ is concerned, it may come with specs like a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, a 50-megapixel triple camera unit, a 5000mAh battery, and 65W fast charging.

For now, these rumors remain unconfirmed and therefore we advise our readers to take them with a pinch of salt.

Reports have revealed that the RMX3472 model number belongs to the Realme 9 Pro handset. Now the same device has been spotted in the database of the TUV certification platform. The listing has revealed the battery size of the device.

It has been revealed through Thailand’s NBTC certification that the Realme RMX3472 will be debuting in the global market with the Realme 9 Pro moniker. This device has been approved by certification platforms from countries like Europe and Indonesia. None of these listings has revealed any information on the specs of the device. It is believed that the RMX3472 phone that has been spotted at the BIS authority could be the Indian variant of the device.

The TUV certification has revealed that the Realme 9 Pro will pack a 4,880mAh rated battery. The typical value of its battery could be 5,000mAh. The TUV listing hasn’t revealed the fast-charging capabilities of the device. Rumors surrounding the device has revealed that it may ship with the Dimensity 810 chipset.

As far as the Realme 9 Pro+ is concerned, it may come with specs like a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, a 50-megapixel triple camera unit, and 65W fast charging. It is speculated that the Realme 9 Pro and Pro+ may debut by February this year.

Chinese phone maker Realme is expected to launch its upcoming Realme 9, 9i,  9 Pro, and 9 Pro+ soon. Recently, the Pro+ model passed several certifications hinting for a sooner launch. Now, a concept render of the Realme 9 Pro+ based on some schematics was surfaced by user Yash Purohit (via – @yabhishekhd). The render gives us a closer look at the phone and reveals its possible design.

As per the image, the Realme 9 Pro+ has a large punch-hole panel with a thin bezel design even at the bottom. It has a single selfie snapper and an earpiece at the top.

It has a triple camera system at the rear that looks similar to the iPhone 13 Pro’s triple camera array but it is much boxier. It also has an LED flash beside the lenses. The smartphone has a power button and volume button on the right-side.

Since it is a concept render, we would tell our readers to take it with a grain of salt. Nonetheless, if the phone comes with this design, it will be somewhat similar to the predecessor Realme 8 series.

Other than this, the Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ were recently tipped to debut in February this year. The phones are touted to get an initial European release followed by the rest of the markets. The realme 9 series is in the news since late August. In fact, the brand itself has confirmed the existence of the lineup in September. A few days from that, the company revealed that the phones will be delayed to 2022. Now, as we have entered the new year, details about their release emerge once again.

According to Mukul Sharma (via 91Mobiles), the realme 9 Pro and the realme 9 Pro+ will launch by February 2022. He claims that these smartphones will first make their debut in Europe. He also says that they will be 5G-ready.

According to certifications, realme 9 Pro and realme 9 Pro+ for Europe will arrive with model numbers RMX3472 and RMX3393 respectively. 91Mobiles suggests that the former could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, while the latter could feature a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset.

Unfortunately, nothing else is known about these handsets. But we expect to learn about them before their official announcement in the coming days.

For the unaware, the realme 9 is expected to include multiple devices like realme 9, realme 9 Pro, realme 9 Pro+, realme 9i, realme 9A, and realme 9 Prime. These phones could be also accompanied by realme Note 9 and realme Note 9 Prime.

The Realme 9 Pro+ was spotted at the IMEI database with the RMX3393 model number. Later it appeared at India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification platform. Now, the RMX3393 has bagged approval from Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) certification site.

At NBTC, the RMX3393 has appeared with the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G moniker. While the listing has no information on the specs of the phone, it does confirm that it will carry support for 5G connectivity. The RMX3392 variant of the phone has been spotted at other certification sites such as the Eurasian Economic Commission and Indonesia’s TKDN.

While the RMX3393 is confirmed to carry support for 5G connectivity, it is unclear whether the RMX3392 model number will be its 4G LTE variant. Coming back to the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G (RMX3393), it recently appeared at the Camera FV-5 platform with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, whereas its back panel will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. At present, there is no word on the specifications and launch date of the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G.

Reports suggest that the Realme 9i could be the first Realme 9 series phone to go official. However, there is some confusion surrounding its moniker. A recent report claimed that the device may debut with the Realme Narzo 9i moniker.

The smartphone is expected to come with a 6.6-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. It is expected to come with the Snapdragon 680 chipset, 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB / 128 GB of storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. It may come in colors like Prism Blue and Prism Black.

The global chip shortage that greatly affected the production schedule and launch dates of several models across manufacturers also affected the Realme 9 Series lineup. However, it seems the company might have overcome these challenges and is set for the launch of the Realme 9 series in India within the first quarter of 2022. The Realme 9 series will consist of four models namely the Realme 9, Realme 9 Pro, Realme 9i, and the Realme 9 Max/Pro+ which will be the first with such a name from Realme.

Although Realme had indicated a 2022 launch date for the Realme 9 series due to the global chip crisis, there were no specifics mentioned. The source for the current update however specified the first quarter of 2022 for the launch of the Realme 9 series in the subcontinent. In fact, a February launch has been specified by the rumors but we cannot confirm the date at this time. The rumors also include that the Pro and Max/Pro+ models in the Realme 9 series will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, while the screens will be AMOLED with 120Hz display refresh rate.

More illumination could be provided by Realme as we inch closer to 2022, but it is also believed that the models in the Realme 9 series lineup will sport a 108MP main camera. No pricing or global availability details have been leaked at this time for the Realme 9 series.

Realme was expected to bring the Realme 9 smartphone series last month but the company delayed the launch till next year. Now, the Realme 9 series will be launching in early 2022. But, ahead of the official launch, one of the Realme 9 series phones have appeared on the IMEI database.

According to the IMEI, a Realme smartphone with model number RMX3393 has just passed the certification. It is believed to be the upcoming Realme 9 Pro Plus. Although the certification doesn’t reveal anything significant it just hints at the phone’s arrival.

As per previous leaks, the Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro Plus are expected to be a significant upgrade over the current Realme 8 series phones. The Realme 9 series is expected to feature a 120Hz high refresh rate display. It is touted to be an AMOLED panel. Now, it remains to be seen whether it has a notch screen or a punch-hole display.

Under the hood, the series is expected to come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. It leak is in line with what Realme revealed last month. The company suggested that the phones will debut with mainstream processors. It seems that the mid-range Snapdragon 870 will board the budget-range 9 series phones.

Realme GT Neo 2T Specifications 

In related news, Realme recently launched the Realme GT Neo 2T smartphone in China. The device comes with a 6.43-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2400 resolution. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. The device has a triple camera system with a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro snapper. It has a single 16MP selfie camera.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The phone also has a virtual RAM expansion feature that allows the phone to use up to 7GB as RAM from the storage.

At the end of last month, a tipster said that the realme 9 series will launch in India in October ahead of Diwali festive season in early November. Now, we know that it will be not the case.

Just today, realme introduced two more models in the realme 8 series in the form of realme 8i and realme 8s. The lineup already had three devices earlier, namely realme 8, realme 8 Pro, and realme 8 5G. We believe these five phones are enough for customers until the launch of the realme 9 series.
