Realme launches Buds Air 2, Brick Bluetooth Speaker, 4K Smart Google TV Stick & more in India

Realme has just launched the GT Neo2 smartphone in India. Alongside the new flagship grade device, the company has also launched a number of other products like the Brick Bluetooth Speaker, 4K Smart Google TV Stick, Buds Air 2, and more in the region.

Buds Air 2

Talking about the Buds Air 2 first, the Chinese smartphone maker has launched a new true wireless earbuds. The Buds Air 2 were first unveiled back in March 2021, and have now been launched in the Indian market. It features ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and arrives in a new Closer Green color option along with its existing color variants, including Closer White, Closer Black, and Closer Gold. The new wireless earphones offer a total playback of 25 hours when paired with the charging base and support 88ms super low latency mode as well. The Buds Air 2 are available in India for 3,299 INR (~$44) [Introductory price: 2,599 INR].

Brick Bluetooth Speaker

The Realme Brick Bluetooth Speaker is a new portable speaker from the Chinese brand that, as the name suggests, resembles a brick with its rectangular cuboid design. These Bluetooth speaker can output 20W sound and feature a 2 speaker unit consisting of dynamic bass boost drivers. Furthermore, it will also be compatible with the Realme Link app and the company claims it can last for up to 14 hours on a single full charge via a USB Type C charging port. It even arrives with two extra bass radiators and has IPX5 water resistance as well. The Brick Bluetooth speaker are available in India for 2,999 INR (~$40) [Introductory price: 2,499 INR].

4K Smart TV Google Stick & Gaming Accessories

Alongside the two audio based products, the brand also launched the new 4K Smart TV Google Stick as well. It is set to be the first streaming device from the company and will offer native 4K resolution support. The device will run the Google TV interface and arrives in a Black color design. It offers 4Kp60 AV1 Encoding along with HDR10+ Encoding as well.

Lastly, the company has also launched a three new mobile gaming accessories, which includes the new Cooling Back Clip Neo, Type C SuperDart Game Cable, and Mobile Game Triggers. The 4K Smart Google TV Stick is available in India for 3,999 INR (~$53) [Introductory price: 2,999 INR], while the Cooling Back Clip Neo is priced at 999 INR (~$13), Type C SuperDart Game Cable for 599 INR (~$8), and Mobile Game Triggers will go for 699 INR (~$9).

Pricing and Availability

Most of the aforementioned products will be available for purchase on Flipkart, a popular Indian e-retailer, with its first sale starting from 18th October 2021. Unfortunately, the company has yet to announced the 4K TV Stick’s launch date.

Realme recently confirmed the launch of the Realme GT Neo2 through a press release, setting the date for October 13. The smartphone will be launched through a virtual event that will be held via Realme’s official channels. Several specifications of the phone have been confirmed as well through Realme’s website. The company has revealed that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 processor and will sport a high-end 120Hz E4 AMOLED panel.

But as it stands, the Realme GT Neo2 isn’t the only one that will be unveiled at the October 13 product launch event. Reliable tipster Ishan Agarwal has now revealed the full list of devices, which have been listed below.

Realme Buds Air 2 (Closer Green)

The Realme Buds Air 2 were unveiled earlier this year in March as one of the most affordable true wireless earphones to come with active noise cancellation (ANC) support in the Indian market.

These earphones will now be getting a new Closer Green color to its existing roster of color choices that includes Closer White, Closer Black, and Closer Gold, on October 13.

Realme 4K Smart TV Google Stick

The Realme 4K Google TV Stick is set to be the first streaming device from the brand and will support a crisp 4K resolution, just as its name implies. It will run the Google TV interface and will be available in black.

Realme Brick Bluetooth Speaker

The upcoming portable speaker has been very appropriately named considering that it does look like brick. It will be able to output 20W sound, feature a 2-speaker unit consisting of dynamic bass boost drivers, and be compatible with the Realme Link app.

As far as endurance is concerned, the speaker will last for 14 hours on a full charge via a USB Type-C port. It will also sport bass radiators and have an IPX5 water resistance rating.

Mobile Gaming Accessories

Last but not least are the three mobile gaming accessories that will be unveiled alongside the aforementioned with the October product launch event, namely Realme Cooling Back Clip Neo, Type-C SuperDart Game Cable, and Mobile Game Triggers.

Realme’s October 13th launch event will begin at 12:30 PM and will be live-streamed through the company’s official YouTube and Facebook channels. Android 11-based Realme UI 3.0 is also said to be talked about at the event.

Chinese tech brand realme sells a wide variety of products mimicking Xiaomi. One of these product categories is speaker. At present, the company sells two portable speakers, namely ‘realme Pocket Bluetooth Speaker’ and ‘realme Cobble Bluetooth Speaker’. There’s also a soundbar called ‘realme 100W Soundbar’. According to a new leak, the firm will be soon releasing its third portable speaker.

As per tipster Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata), realme’s next speaker will be called ‘realme Brick Bluetooth Speaker’. As the name suggests, the speaker will look like a brick. The leaker has partnered with RealmeTimes to share the features and the images of the product’s retail box.
