A fresh certification sighting has revealed that both brands are working on new wireless earbuds, which could be the Realme Buds Air 7 Pro and Oppo Enco Buds 3 Pro. So here&#8217;s what we know.</p>

<h2>Realme Buds Air 7 Pro &amp; Oppo Enco Buds 3 Pro Visit Bluetooth SIG</h2>

<p>The two Chinese brands are apparently planning on launching the Realme Buds Air 7 Pro and Oppo Enco Buds 3 Pro TWS earbuds soon, as both models surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG certification (Via <em><a href="https://www.mysmartprice.com/gear/audio/audio-news/realme-buds-air-7-pro-oppo-enco-buds-3-pro-bluetooth-sig-certified-launch-imminent/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MySmartPrice</a></em>). The Realme Buds Air 7 Pro has been spotted with the RMX2407 model number, while the Oppo Enco Buds 3 Pro was seen carrying the ETEK1 model number. </p>

<p>Unfortunately, this database does not reveal any finer details like the specifications, features, or design. But it does confirm that both TWS earbuds would likely launch soon. Since both companies are planning on launching new smartphones in the coming weeks, we can expect these truly wireless earbuds to be announced alongside these devices. The brand has patented three designs: two earbuds cases and one design for earbuds at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Screenshot-2020-06-01-at-10.39.19-PM.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-325555" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Screenshot-2020-06-01-at-10.39.19-PM.png?x10805" alt="Realme Earbuds Apple Airpods Pro-like Patent 1" width="598" height="362" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Screenshot-2020-06-01-at-10.39.19-PM.png 598w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Screenshot-2020-06-01-at-10.39.19-PM-300x182.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 598px) 100vw, 598px" /></a></p>
<p>The recently patented Realme earbuds design (first spotted by 91Mobiles) is interesting because it seems to be inspired by the Airpods Pro. So it features a similar in-ear design along with a long stem as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple">Apple</a> earbuds. The other two patents are for the charging cases, one with a round design and another one with a flatter, oval design. Both the patented cases featured an LED indicator, USB-C port for charging, and a button &#8211; likely for pairing.</p>

<p>Realme&#8217;s current earbuds, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/12/31/298140/">Realme Buds Air</a> and Buds Air Neo feature an open design, but the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-buds-q/">Realme Buds Q</a> that was launched last week comes with an in-ear design, similar to the Galaxy Buds. So it looks like the company wants to experiment with the in-ear design on a new model in the future.</p>
<p>As always, we would like to add that this is just a patent and it remains to be seen if this design would translate into a real product in the coming months.</p>

While Realme had only revealed the pricing and availability details of the power bank at the time of the announcement, now it has confirmed the cost and sales date of the Iconic Cover.</span></p>
<h3><b>Realme Buds Air Iconic Cover Price and Availability</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The Realme Buds Air Iconic Cover is priced at Rs. 399 (~$6). The cover will be on sale starting at 12.30 PM IST on Jan. 28. It will be available on Flipkart and Realme’s own website.</span></p>
<h3><b>Realme Buds Air Iconic Cover  Design</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The Buds Air Iconic Cover features Realme’s tailor-made R logo designed by Pentagram. It hugs the charging case perfectly and the silicon protects the case against accidental damage or slides. Realme claims that the cover is composed of a durable material that is soft to the touch. It comes with a metal carabiner for portability. Wireless charging works without removing the cover.</span></p>

Later, the company <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/01/07/realme-buds-air-launched-china/">launched the same in China</a> for 399 yuan (~$58).</p>
<p>Now, it seems that the company is working a new variant of the same TWS earbuds which could possibly come with more features and thus, a bit costlier price tag. From the teaser introducing <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/01/13/realme-ui-with-stock-android-designs-officially-rolling/">Realme UI</a>, it can be seen that the company&#8217;s next true wireless earbuds are named Realme Buds Air Neo.</p>

<p>Given that the Realme Buds Air are almost similar to the Apple AirPods and the company has blatantly copied Apple&#8217;s design, we expect the company to do the same with the Buds Air Neo and rip-off <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/11/13/apple-airpods-pro-goes-on-sale-in-india-for-rs-24900-347/">AirPods Pro</a> to include high-end features like active noise cancellation.</p>
<p>The recently launched Buds Air from <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme">Realme</a> comes with a battery life of 3 hours for continuous playback and up to 17 hours with the charging case. The brand is now set to launch its first earbuds in China. A launch poster has been released showing the Realme Buds Air, as it is called, will be launched in China on January 7.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-297504" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air.jpg?x10805" alt="" width="690" height="1150" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air-180x300.jpg 180w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air-614x1024.jpg 614w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air-252x420.jpg 252w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<p>The Realme Buds Air was first launched in India earlier this month. Asaeminder, the wireless headset is equipped with a high-performance R1 processor supporting Bluetooth 5.0, which can ensure the effective transmission of audio and further reduce the sound delay. The two earbuds of the realme Buds Air true wireless headset can be connected to the phone simultaneously to ensure that audio is transmitted seamlessly and in sync with the lowest possible latency.</p>
<p>In addition, Realme Buds Air true wireless headphones reduce the sound delay in the game mode by 51%. Realme Buds Air&#8217;s delay is only 120ms which is far lower than the Apple Airpod&#8217;s 205ms delay.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air-2.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-297505" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air-2.jpg?x10805" alt="" width="680" height="383" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air-2.jpg 680w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air-2-300x169.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px" /></a></p>

Most smartphone manufacturers have announced <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/11/28/buy-vivo-tws-earphone-for-a-lowered-price-from-giztop/">at least one TWS earbuds</a> in 2019 and a lot more are <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/12/20/huami-amazfit-tws-earbuds-ces-2020/">coming our way in the next few months</a>. Realme also joined this party a few days back and the company is targeting the affordable <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/12/17/realme-buds-air-launched/">segment of the market with its Realme Buds Air</a>, which is priced competitively at Rs. 3999 (~$56). Like a lot of TWS earbuds, the Realme Buds Air takes its inspiration from the best selling <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/apple-airpods">Apple AirPods</a> series. Today, we take a quick look at how closely the Buds Air resemble the AirPods 2.</p>
<p>I would like to start this article by saying that the Realme Buds Air is no way an AirPods clone. While it definitely takes its inspiration from the best in the industry, there are a lot of differences to set it apart from the AirPods 2. The earbuds come in three different colors which include white, black, and yellow. We&#8217;ve got the white one for review, which is the ideal color for this comparison.</p>

<h3></h3>
<h3>Realme Buds Air vs Apple AirPods 2: Earbuds</h3>
<p>Like every other TWS earbuds in the market, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/realme">Realme</a> Buds Air package consists of two parts &#8211; the two earbuds (L &amp; R) and the charging case. The earbuds come very close to mimicking the AirPods&#8217; design but it&#8217;s not an exact clone.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-7.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-295747" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-7.jpg?x10805" alt="Realme Buds Air (7)" width="1919" height="1080" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-7.jpg 1919w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-7-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-7-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-7-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-7-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-7-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-7-746x420.jpg 746w" sizes="(max-width: 1919px) 100vw, 1919px" /></a></p>
<p>The Realme Buds Air feature relatively round and large heads in comparison to the slightly smaller, oval shape of the AirPods. So despite having a similar sensor layout as the AirPods, it&#8217;s very easy to distinguish between the two based on the shapes alone. Another big differentiator for the Buds Air is the absence of the mesh at the back.</p>

<p>While both the earbuds feature a similarly sized stem, they have significantly different charging connectors. The AirPods feature a metal round connector at the bottom of the earbuds while the Realme Buds Air feature an open design with two connector pins at the bottom. The microphones are located at the back of the stem on both the models.</p>

<h3>Realme Buds Air vs Apple AirPods 2: Charging Case</h3>
<p>When it comes to the charging case, the similarities between the two earbuds end. The Realme Buds Air comes with a much more compact and rounder charging case. When you keep the two cases side by side, you can see that the AirPods 2 case is slightly longer and thinner than the Realme one. To be honest, the AirPods case looks a bit more refined than what Realme offers but that&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/04/04/powerbeats-pro-vs-apple-airpods-2-which-one-you-should-pick/">expected given the huge price difference</a>.</p>

<p>The Realme Buds Air charging case features a pairing button on the front with an LED light. On the other hand, the AirPods 2 case features the button at the back with the text: Designed by Apple California. Similarly, the Realme case features the text: Designed by Realme on its back. But I wish Realme had implemented a better design for opening the case. The back design looks pretty cheap.</p>

<p>You can charge the Realme case with a USB-C port at the bottom, while the AirPods 2 case takes in a lightning connector.</p>
<p>While there are some similarities between the Realme Buds Air and the AirPods 2, the former can really stand up on its own as competitive TWS earbuds in its price segment (<a href="https://dl.flipkart.com/dl//realme-buds-air-bluetooth-headset-mic/p/itm312b7bba089cf?pid=ACCFMUEAGKS6HMDD&amp;affid=joeljosep">Rs. 3999 on Flipkart</a>). We have been testing them for the past few days and our first impressions have been quite positive. Wait for our full review of the Realme Buds Air in the next couple of days.</p>

We feel the Freebuds 3 with active noise canceling sounds amazing for a wireless headphone and is a competitive alternative to the AirPods Pro that&#8217;s way more expensive.</p>

It launched in India a few days ago alongside the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-x2/">Realme X2</a>. New info says it will make its way to China next month.</p>
<p>According to a Weibo post by Digital Chat Station, the Realme Buds Air will be announced early next month in China alongside the Realme X50 5G smartphone. There are speculations that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/12/17/realme-x50-5g-teaser-suggest-january-5-launch-date/">Realme will announce its first 5G phone on January 5</a>, so the info about the earbuds&#8217; release date checks out.</p>

<p>He adds that the Realme Buds Air will be priced around ¥399 (~$57) which is about the same price it is sold for in India.</p>
<p>The Realme Buds Air has a custom high-performance R1 chip that helps reduce wireless audio latency. It connects via Bluetooth 5.0, has a gaming mode, supports Google Assistant, and has touch controls on the stems. It also has instant auto-connection, wear detection, and dual-microphones to help with noise cancelation.</p>
<p>Realme claims the earbuds have a battery life of 3 hours and goes up to 17 hours with the charging case. The case has a USB Type-C port and also supports 10W wireless charging. The Realme Buds Air comes in white, yellow, and black.</p>

As more and more manufacturers are removing the dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack from their smartphones, these tiny earbuds are gaining popularity.</p>
<p>Apple AirPods <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/12/13/airpods-expected-to-exceed-peak-ipod-sales-this-holiday-quarter/">dominate this segment</a> but there are a number of compelling options that are way cheaper than the Apple earbuds. Realme joins this group today with the launch of the new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/12/17/realme-buds-air-launched/">Realme Buds Air</a>. This is the company&#8217;s first TWS earbuds in the market and we have managed to get a unit for review.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-1.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-295741" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-1.jpg?x10805" alt="Realme Buds Air (1)" width="1620" height="1080" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-1.jpg 1620w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-1-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-1-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-1-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 1620px) 100vw, 1620px" /></a></p>
<p>The Realme Buds Air is inspired by the Apple AirPods and that&#8217;s not necessarily a bad thing. A lot of people prefer the open ear design of the AirPods and Realme decided to stick with what has worked in the market so far. After all, the AirPods is the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/12/13/airpods-expected-to-exceed-peak-ipod-sales-this-holiday-quarter/">best selling TWS earbuds</a> in the world right now.</p>
<p>The Realme Buds Air comes in a shiny and plastic-y design but that ensures that both the case and the earbuds are very light. You get three color options for the earbuds: White, Black, and a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme">Realme</a> Yellow shade. The yellow one will definitely stand out. But we&#8217;ve got the standard White color option, which, unsurprisingly, could be mistaken for the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple-airpods">AirPods</a> at first glance.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-13.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-295753" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-13.jpg?x10805" alt="Realme Buds Air (13)" width="1919" height="1080" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-13.jpg 1919w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-13-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-13-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-13-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-13-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-13-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-13-746x420.jpg 746w" sizes="(max-width: 1919px) 100vw, 1919px" /></a></p>
<p>The case is square-ish and comes with just one &#8216;pairing&#8217; button and an LED light above it. The LED light switches between Red and Green. It glows Red in pairing mode and Green when paired. Also, when the case is low on battery, it will glow Red. You get a USB-C port below to charge it or you can use the new-age wireless charging (up to 10W) to juice it up.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-9.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-295749" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-9.jpg?x10805" alt="Realme Buds Air (9)" width="1919" height="1080" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-9.jpg 1919w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-9-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-9-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-9-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-9-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-9-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Realme-Buds-Air-9-746x420.jpg 746w" sizes="(max-width: 1919px) 100vw, 1919px" /></a></p>
<p>Once you pop open the case, you&#8217;ll find the two Airpod-esque earbuds, each featuring an oval speaker grill and an IR sensor for wear detection. This might be a good time to add that the earbuds feature wear detection (just like AirPods and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/09/25/xiaomi-mi-airdots-pro-2-noise-cancelling-earphones-with-bluetooth-5-0-announced/">other earbuds</a>), so when you take out the buds from your ear, it&#8217;ll stop playing and vice versa.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme-buds-air">Realme Buds Air</a> comes with features such as a custom R1 chip, Bluetooth 5.0, and a dedicated gaming mode that reduces latency by nearly 51 percent. You can control it via touch gestures like double-tap to play/pause, long press for google assistant, and long-pressing both earbuds simultaneously for activating the gaming mode. The earbuds pack two built-in microphones for dual-mic noise cancellation — one for capturing the human voice and the other for ambient sound, which are algorithmically synthesized to offset environmental noise and deliver clear conversation quality during calls.</p>

Now, less than a week before its official release, we have got the complete specs and price leak of the upcoming earbuds. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air-comparison.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-294929" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air-comparison.jpg?x10805" alt="Realme TWS_Comparison Leak" width="900" height="578" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air-comparison.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air-comparison-300x193.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air-comparison-768x493.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air-comparison-696x447.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/realme-buds-air-comparison-654x420.jpg 654w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></a>According to our source, the realme Buds Air will come with 17 hours of battery life. This should be the total battery life of the earbuds when charged with its companion case. It will come with 12mm DBB (Dynamic Bass Boost), which is larger than 11.2mm DBB drivers found <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/09/20/realme-buds-wireless-launching-in-china-on-september-24/">on the realme Buds Wireless neckband headphones</a>. We can also confirm that the Buds Air will support AAC codec.</p>
<p>The realme Buds Air comes with wear detection, so it will know when you are wearing it in your ears. The TWS earbuds will feature Bluetooth 5.0 and will come with touch controls, low latency gaming mode, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/12/12/realme-buds-air-will-feature-wireless-charging-confirms-madhav-sheth/">as well as wireless charging</a>. Our source also revealed that the case will come with USB-Type C port and not microUSB.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/realme">realme</a> Buds Air will also feature Dual Mic ENC for calling, however, don&#8217;t confuse this with active noise cancellation tech like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/10/30/apple-airpods-pro-unboxing-first-impressions-is-it-any-good-video/">ones found in the AirPods Pro</a>. It&#8217;s likely to ensure that your audio quality is better during calls.</p>
<p>Finally, our source confirms that the reame Buds Air will indeed be priced at Rs. 4999 (~$71), which is the same figure revealed by a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/12/10/realme-buds-airs-price-gets-revealed-ahead-of-launch/">leaked Flipkart listing</a> earlier this week. The earbuds will go on sale immediately after the December 17 launch event in India.</p>
<p>So what do you think? With a 17-hour battery life, wireless charging case, and a decent pair of drivers, the realme Buds Air could be a really competitive TWS option in India.</p>

The news came from a close source with GSMArena, but today, CEO Madhav Sheth has officially confirmed that you can charge the case using wireless charging. We haven&#8217;t got any specifications of the earbuds but this feature should explain why the Realme Buds Air could be costlier than offerings like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/04/08/redmi-airdots-review-a-great-budget-tws-earphones/">the Redmi Airdots</a>.</p>

<p>A premature listing of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/12/10/realme-buds-airs-price-gets-revealed-ahead-of-launch/">earbuds on Flipkart revealed that it could start at Rs. 4,999</a> (~$71) at launch. In comparison, earbuds from companies like Honor (<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/11/26/honor-unveils-flypods-3-true-wireless-noise-cancelling-earphones-for-799-yuan-113/">Flypods 3</a>) and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/09/16/vivo-tws-earphone-with-a-cool-design-flagship-qualcomm-qcc5126-wireless-chip-goes-official/">Vivo</a> start at more than $100.</p>
<p>Recent reports have revealed that the retail package of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme">Realme</a> Buds air will contain the earbuds, USB-C charging cable and a user manual, with up to six months warranty. Expected features of the earbuds include support for built-in voice assistant and touch controls, 12mm Bass boost driver and Bluetooth 5.0.</p>
<p>The brand will announce the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/12/10/realme-xt-730g-to-be-launched-in-india-as-realme-x2/">Snapdragon 730 powered Realme X2</a> (earlier called as Realme XT 730G) on December 17 alongside these new earbuds in India. <p>It&#8217;s not a very appealing name, but we suppose calling them the Air Buds would be a bit too close to AirPods for many. We already know that the Realme Buds Air lift a lot from the Cupertino company in design, let&#8217;s hope the name doesn&#8217;t follow suit. The leaks also show us some technical specifications for the upcoming Realme Buds Air.</p>

<p>First off, we get a better look at design renders for the device, as well as all three colour options. We do like the yellow chosen, but we wish they had a more distinct look. We also learn that the Realme Buds Air get 12mm drivers, which is the standard for this size. There are touch controls on the stems of the Buds Air for controlling music and voice assistant activation.</p>
<p>The Buds Air come with Bluetooth 5.0 on board, as you&#8217;d expect from a pair of wireless earbuds. The charged carrying case is also here, and it&#8217;s still very reminiscent of a certain fruit company in terms of design. Honestly these leaks seem pretty accurate, though we can&#8217;t know for sure until the earbuds actually launch on December 17.</p>
