At the beginning of this month, Realme unveiled the Realme C71 4G went official in Vietnam. Today, the brand announced the said device in India without any fanfare. Its launch follows last month’s debut of the Realme C73 5G. Here’s a look at the specifications, features, and price of the device for the Indian market.

Realme C71 specifications and features

The Realme C71 features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel with an HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 563 nits in High Brightness Mode. Despite its sizeable screen and battery, the phone is just 7.94mm thick and weighs 201 grams.

On the software side, the Realme C71 runs Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0. The phone is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera featuring an OmniVision OV13B sensor and an LED flash. Around the camera module, Realme has added a Pulse Light design that supports multiple colors and customizable glowing modes. These lights respond in real-time to incoming calls, message notifications, and charging status. A 5-megapixel front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.

The Realme C71 runs on the Unisoc T7250 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Virtual RAM support allows up to 12GB total RAM, and storage is expandable via microSD up to 2TB. It houses a 6,300mAh battery with 15W fast charging and 6W reverse charging support.

For security, the C71 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB-C. The device comes with IP54 dust and splash resistance and passes MIL-STD-810H military-grade drop and pressure tests.

Realme C71 price in India, availability

The Realme C71 comes in Obsidian Black and Sea Blue colorways. The 4GB + 64GB model is priced at Rs 7,699 (~$90), while the 6GB + 128GB variant is listed at Rs 8,699 (~$100), with a Rs 700 bank offer bringing the effective price down to Rs 7,999. The phone is now available on Flipkart, Realme.com, and mainline retail stores.

Realme’s budget-friendly C71, set to succeed the C61, has surfaced on Geekbench with the Unisoc T7250 SoC, 6GB RAM, and Android 15 with Realme UI. Certified by Malaysia’s SIRIM with 45W charging, it’s a modest upgrade targeting the same price range.

Spotted on Geekbench under model RMX5303, the C71 is powered by the Unisoc T7250 SoC (previously T615), a 4G-only octa-core chip with two 1.82GHz Cortex-A75 and six 1.61GHz Cortex-A55 cores. Scoring 438 single-core and 1455 multi-core, its performance aligns with the C61’s Unisoc T612, suggesting minimal gains. The T612 averages 422 in single-core and 1509 in multi-core tests, per NanoReview, making the C71’s performance roughly comparable overall.

The C71 packs 6GB RAM, matching its predecessor, and runs Android 15, a step up from the C61’s Android 14. Malaysia’s SIRIM certification confirms the RMX5303 model and 45W fast charging, a significant jump from the C61’s 15W, though it likely retains a 5,000mAh battery. Additional listings on NBTC and TDRA hint at a broader Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern release.

Expected to mirror the C61’s HD+ 90Hz IPS LCD, 32MP main sensor, and 5MP, selfie shooter, the C71 may offer 4GB/8GB RAM variants and 64GB/128GB storage. Although the predecessor looks modern with a flat design and two cutouts inside the rectangular camera housing for lenses, the front sticks to a waterdrop-style notch rather than a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The C71’s design remains under wraps for now, so stay tuned for more details.

Realme is apparently planning on launching two new budget smartphones from its C series in India soon. But ahead of any official announcement, the launch date for the Realme C75 and Realme C71 has just been revealed. We also got more details regarding the storage configurations and color options of the C75 as well, so let’s check it out.

Realme C75 and C71 India Launch Date

According to a 91Mobiles report, sources close to the matter have revealed that the Chinese smartphone maker might be planning on launching the Realme C75 and Realme C71 on 25th March 2025. If this is true, the latest Realme C75 and C71 are arriving mere days after the Realme P3 and Realme P3 Ultra‘s launch, which is set for March 19.

The report further adds that the Realme C75 carries the RMX3943 model number. This model will also launch in two storage configurations, namely 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB variants. The Realme C75 will also be available in multiple color options, which include Midnight Lily, Purple Blossom, and Lily White. On the other hand, there is not a lot of information available regarding the Realme C71 model.

To recall, the company announced a Realme C75 model in the Vietnamese market back on 27th November 2024. This model sports a tall 6.72-inch IPS LCD panel with an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G92 Max chipset. A massive 6,000mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 45W wired fast charging. The rear features a 50MP main camera with the front housing an 8MP selfie shooter. Other notable features include MIL-STD-810H certification, IP69 rating, and Android 14 OS based Realme UI 5.
