Realme, a leading smartphone manufacturer, has announced a major restructuring of its product line. Realme’s product line previously consisted of several series such as the Neo, Numeric, GT, Q, V, and X. However, some of these series overlapped in terms of pricing, leading to confusion among users. This is believed to be a major reason for the restructuring.

The “Master Explorer Edition” smartphones, including the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition and Realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition, were known for their visually stunning design, featuring travel cases and hard case back covers.

Realme is gearing up to launch a bunch of new products in its home market of China. In the new launch event, a new laptop and TWS earbuds will be announced, but the main highlight of the live conference will undoubtedly be the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition smartphone. So here’s how you can watch this live stream.

Since it is a Chinese launch, the new smartphone’s announcement will not be officially streamed on YouTube. Rather, the Chinese smartphone maker is set to host an online live stream that will be broadcasted through its official website in China. During this event, the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition handset will be announced along with the new Realme Buds Air 3 Neo and the Notebook Air laptop model as well. The live stream will begin on July 12 at 2 pm Beijing Time (GMT +8) / 11:30 am Indian Time (GMT +5:30) / 7 am London Time (GMT +1).

Talking about the smartphone itself, it will be the first device from the brand to feature Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. This chipset will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. On the front, the smartphone is expected to sport a 6.7 inch AMOLED display that has a FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, in display fingerprint scanner, and a center aligned punch hole selfei camera.

Meanwhile, the back is expected to feature a triple camera setup that includes a 50 megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor, paired with a 50 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 2 megapixel macro shooter. The device will run on Android 12 OS based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box and will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 100W fast charging. The Redmagic 7S series is scheduled to launch in China on July 11. It will be presented at a conference that will begin at 3 PM CST. The event will be live-streamed on Weibo and other popular Chinese video platforms.

The lineup will consist of two models, namely Redmagic 7S and Redmagic 7S Pro. Both of them will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.

The phones will be almost identical to each other in terms of features. They will only differ by selfie camera, screen refresh rate, cooling fan speed, battery capacity, and charging speed.

Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will be announced at an event on July 12 in China. The conference will begin at 2 PM CST and will be live-streamed on Weibo and other platforms.

As the name suggests, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is a successor of the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition. It will feature a design inspired by classic travel trunks. The phone will arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip, LPDDR5x RAM, 50MP + 50MP + 2MP triple camera system, 100W fast charging support, and more.

The handset will be also accompanied by a pair of truly wireless earphones and a laptop called Realme Buds Air 3 Neo and Realme Notebook Air, respectively.

Nothing Phone 1

The Nothing Phone 1 will finally go official on July 12. It will be fully unveiled in a live stream, which will begin at 8:30 PM IST on Youtube and other social media platforms.

The Phone 1 is one of the most hyped smartphones in recent times. The mid-range handset powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus SoC will arrive with a unique design, an array of LED lights for a feature called ‘glyph interface’, wireless charging support, and more.

Nothing is also expected to announce a new variant of Nothing Ear 1 called Noting Ear 1 Stick.

Samsung Galaxy M13 Series

Samsung will launch the Galaxy M13 series in India on July 14 via a live stream that will start at 12 PM IST. The series will include two models.

The two devices in question will be Galaxy M13 and Galaxy M13 5G. The former will be different from the variant sold in other regions. On the other hand, the latter will be making its global debut.

The  4G version is expected to house an Exynos 850 chip, while the 5G variant is said to be powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset.

These listings hinted that the smartphone may debut in July. Today, Realme China’s President released an official confirmation that the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will debut in the next month.

The poster does not reveal any information about the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition’s specifications or features. However, the company has already confirmed that it will be powered by the  Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform.

It is likely that the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition launch date will be confirmed this week. Rumors are rife that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will launch on July 5. It is speculated that Realme’s flagship will be unveiled soon after the 12 Ultra.

Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition specifications (rumored)

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a centrally positioned punch-hole. It will have support for an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will have a 32-megapixel camera on the front for snapping selfies.

The device may inherit the rear camera setup from the Realme GT 2 Pro. Hence, it is expected to arrive with an OIS-enabled Sony IMX766 50-megapixel main camera. It will be coupled with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide snapper and a 2-megapixel camera. The device will come preinstalled with the Realme UI 3.0 flavored Android 12 OS.

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery. Its 3C authority will carry support for 100W fast charging. Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is expected to launch in July. It has already been certified by the TENAA telecom authority in China. It has now been approved by the country’s 3C regulatory body (via). These certifications are a good hint that it will debut in the next month.

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition has an RMX3551 model number. Last month, a new 100W charger with model number VCBAJACH was approved by the 3C authority. The same charger is mentioned in the 3C certification of the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition.

Hence, it can be said that this device will be Realme’s first smartphone to carry support for 100W charging. For the unversed, the Dimensity 8100 powered GT Neo 3, which debuted in China, is the world’s first smartphone to carry support for 150W fast charging.

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition houses a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It will run on the Realme UI 3.0 flaovred Android 12 OS.

For selfies, it will have a 16-megapixel camera. Its back panel will feature a pair of 50-megapixel cameras and a 2-megapixel lens. It will offer up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The GT Master Explorer Edition was announced with a starting price of 2,999 Yuan (~$447) in China. Hence, it is likely that the successor model may be priced at 3,500 Yuan (~$522).

As far as the launch date is concerned, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station recently claimed that the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will launch soon after the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Rumors have it that the 12 Ultra will debut in the first week of July.

While the Realme GT 2 series has already been announced in the market, it appears that the company is planning on releasing another entry within the lineup called the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition soon. Now, the device was spotted on GeekBench, which revealed some of its specifications. So let’s have a look.

Interestingly, the news regarding the device’s imminent launch arrives from a rather official source. The company’s President of Global Marketing, Xu Qi, responded to a user’s query and stated that Realme is planning on launching new model in July 2022 (Via 91Mobiles). With the recent sighting on GeekBench, it is possible that the device in question is the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition.

The device had surfaced on the popular benchmarking platform with the model number RMX3551. If this phone does launch, it will be the third entry in the Realme GT 2 series. Looking at the GeekBench listing, the smartphone scored 1296 points on single core tests and 4211 in the multi core test. The benchmark also revealed that the handset runs on Android 12 OS out of the box and up to 12GB of RAM, but the company will likely offer other storage configurations as well.

The motherboard section states that the device houses “taro,” which could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC that was recently announced for next gen flagship smartphones. Based on a previous report, the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition sports a 6.7 inch 120Hz AMOLED display and is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports over 100W fast charging as well. Now, tipster Yogesh Brar has tweeted out the entire spec sheet of the upcoming GT 2 Master Explorer Edition, so let’s take a look at what the smartphone has in store for us.

Starting with the display, the tipster states that the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel. The panel will offer up to a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, we will get the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC which is manufactured by TSMC on their 4nm node, making the chip more energy efficient. Memory options available for the device will be 8GB and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and it will be offered in 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage configurations.  A large 5,000mAh battery pack will power the smartphone and it will have 100W fast charging support. Other than that, the device will operate on Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0.

Coming to optics, the tipster informs that the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will have a triple camera setup headlined by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor (with OIS. Previous reports have revealed the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition has an RMX3551 model number. At the beginning of this month, the device was certified by China’s 3C regulatory body. The listing showed that it could be the first phone from Realme that can be charged at 100W.

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition’s TENAA listing reveals that it has a 6.7-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display with a punch-hole placed at the top-centre position. It is likely to carry support for a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform, which clocks at 3.2GHz, will power the smartphone. The phone will come in RAM editions like 6 GB, 8 GB, and 12 GB. It will come in 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB storage choices.

The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will feature a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel secondary snapper, and a 2-megapixel lens. On the front, it will have a 16-megapixel camera. The phone will most likely boot into Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 on top.

It is speculated that the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition could come in two battery variants, such as a 4,800mAh battery model with 150W charging and a 5,000mAh battery variant with 100W charging.
