<p>Realme started offering four major Android updates to its devices last year, beginning with the Realme GT 7. Some more devices later arrived with this updated software policy, but the overall list is still too short, as Realme hasn’t expanded the new policy beyond the premium segment.</p>

<p>We&#8217;ve curated a list of Realme devices that promise four years of Android OS updates. Take a look at it below:</p>

<ul><li>Realme GT 8 Pro (last update: Android 20)</li><li>Realme GT 8 (last update: Android 20)</li><li>Realme GT 7 (last update: Android 19)</li><li>Realme GT 7T (last update: Android 19)</li></ul>

<p>If your Realme device is on the list, you’re in luck. But millions of Realme users are getting up to three Android OS updates, while brands like Samsung offer up to six on many of their budget phones, and their high-end phones get seven OS updates.</p>

<p>The four Android OS update policy is very welcoming from Realme, but it really shouldn’t be limited to premium phones. Even premium mid-range phones, such as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-16-pro-plus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Realme 16 Pro+</a>, which costs up to INR 45,000, only guarantee up to three Android OS updates.</p>

<p>Realme really needs to up its software update policy, as its competitors are doing it aggressively. Take Motorola, for example: the brand isn’t well-reputed for software updates, but it has been greatly improving rollout speed for the last few months. Not just that, the brand now promises up to five major OS updates for many of its mid-range phones, and recently matched Google and Samsung by promising seven years of Android OS support for the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/01/07/motorola-signature-launched/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Motorola Signature</a> smartphone.</p>

<p>Its Chinese rivals, including <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/10/31/oppo-phones-eligible-for-five-major-android-os-updates/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/10/25/xiaomi-devices-eligible-for-five-major-android-os-updates/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi</a>, are also ahead with up to five major Android OS updates. Additionally, they promise longer updates to newer mid-range phones. So, I guess Realme wouldn’t want its customers to switch to other brands just for this reason, and therefore, we’ll likely see an improved software update policy anytime soon, at least for mid-range phones.</p>

<p>While it is one of the most complete packages in its price segment, it faces serious competition from recent launches by Motorola, iQOO, Poco, and Realme. Each rival brings its own advantages, making the upper mid-range market more competitive than ever.</p>

<h3><strong>Poco F7</strong></h3>

At first glance, the duo might look quite similar, but there are a few critical differences that set them apart. If you’re deciding which one offers better value, here are the top 3 things that differentiate between the two. </p>

<h3>Realme GT 7 vs Realme GT 7T: Design &amp; Display</h3>

<p>The Chinese brand&#8217;s new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-gt-7-global/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Realme GT 7</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-gt-7t/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Realme GT 7T</a> are nearly identical in terms of design, but the former has a slimmer 8.3mm body compared to the latter&#8217;s 8.88mm body. There are also a few differences when we look at their displays. Realme offers a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2780×1264 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 6000 nits peak brightness. This screen also offers 2,600Hz PWM dimming, DC dimming, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.</p>

<p>On the other hand, the Realme GT 7T sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 6000 nits of peak brightness, and 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut as well. So you only miss out on the high frequency PWM dimming. While this isn&#8217;t a big difference, PWM dimming allows is a more efficient way of controlling the OLED display while also reducing strain on the user&#8217;s eyes.</p>

<h3>Performance</h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="546" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-1024x546.webp?x44794" alt="Realme-GT-7T" class="wp-image-688695" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-1024x546.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-300x160.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-768x410.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-1536x820.webp 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-2048x1093.webp 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-696x371.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-1068x570.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-1920x1024.webp 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-787x420.webp 787w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Realme GT 7T</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>One of the biggest differences between them is in performance. Realme equips the GT 7 with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400e SoC, which is an underclocked version of the Dimensity 9400. Meanwhile, the Realme GT 7T features the Dimensity 8400 MAX chipset. The Dimensity 9400e is faster than the Dimensity 9300+ chip and offers near flagship level performance, while the Dimensity 8400 MAX is basically a processor for upper mid range devices.</p>

<h3>Camera</h3>

<p>Photography is another area with key differences, as the Realme GT 7 features a triple camera setup compared to the GT 7T&#8217;s dual rear cameras. The GT 7 has a 50MP Sony IMX 906 main sensor along with an 8MP ultra wide angle lens, and 50MP telephoto shooter with 2x optical zoom. You also get Dolby Vision and 4K60fps recording on the primary rear camera. For selfies and video calls, the Realme GT 7 has a 32MP shooter. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-1-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="Realme-GT-7" class="wp-image-688706" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-1-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-1-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-1-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-1-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-1-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-1-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-1.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>On the Realme GT 7T, you get a 50MP Sony IMX896 main camera and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens. The front houses the same 32MP camera. This means that the Realme GT 7 should offer a better and more versatile photography experience, at least on paper.</p>

<h3>Pricing</h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-Dream-Edition-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="Realme-GT-7-Dream-Edition" class="wp-image-688697" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-Dream-Edition-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-Dream-Edition-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-Dream-Edition-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-Dream-Edition-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-Dream-Edition-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-Dream-Edition-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-Dream-Edition.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Realme GT 7 Dream Edition</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Keeping these 3 key differences in mind, it makes sense that the Realme GT starts from a higher 37,999 INR price tag for the 8GB + 256GB base variant. The same 8GB + 256GB option on the Realme GT 7T has a more affordable 34,999 INR price tag.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/realme/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Realme</a>’s next premium midrange contender, the GT 7T, is scheduled to make its global debut on May 27. In the days leading up to launch, tipster <em><a href="https://x.com/Sudhanshu1414/status/1923331408086331657" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sudhanshu Ambhore</a></em> shared what appears to be a complete set of specifications and official-looking renders on X (formerly Twitter).</p>

<h2><strong>Realme GT 7T Specs and Renders</strong></h2>

<p>At the heart of the GT 7T will be MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 MAX. It will be paired with a sizable 7,000 mAh battery and support for 120 W fast charging. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-color-options.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-687069" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-color-options.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-color-options-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-color-options-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-color-options-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-color-options-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>The display is said to be a 6.8‑inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2800 × 1280 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone will run Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 on top of it. </p>

<p>Photography on the GT 7T will be handled by a two‑camera array: a 50 MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (f/1.8) sits alongside an 8 MP ultrawide lens (f/2.2). Selfie duties fall to a 32 MP front‑facing camera (f/2.4).</p>

<p>The leaked renders show a familiar design language for the GT 7T. It has a rectangular camera module on the back and a clean, flat frame. It reportedly measures 162.42 × 75.97 × 8.88 mm and has a weight of 205 g. Color options include Yellow, Black, and Light Blue shades. </p>

<p>The yellow model has a vegan leather back with dual black racing stripes. Whereas, all three models have accentuated power buttons. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="366" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-Renders.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-687068" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-Renders.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-Renders-300x122.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-Renders-768x312.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-Renders-696x283.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>For connectivity, it includes Wi‑Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and a USB 2.0 Type‑C port. Realme has opted for an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. </p>

<p>Realme GT 7T is going official alongside a more premium GT 7. With just days to go before the official reveal, Realme doesn’t seem to have much left to surprise us with, assuming these specs hold up. </p>

<h3><strong>Realme GT 7T design revealed</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="941" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-yellow-edition.jpg?x44794" alt="Realme GT 7T yellow edition" class="wp-image-685791" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-yellow-edition.jpg 941w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-yellow-edition-300x191.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-yellow-edition-768x490.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-yellow-edition-696x444.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7T-yellow-edition-659x420.jpg 659w" sizes="(max-width: 941px) 100vw, 941px" /><figcaption>Realme GT 7T </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-gt-7t">Realme GT 7T</a> sports a bold and eye-catching design with a bright yellow vegan leather back accented by dual black racing stripes, giving it a sporty, performance-inspired look. Its large square module includes two cameras and an LED flash, while the gold-accented power button on the metal frame enhances the aesthetic. As per a previous leak, the device may also arrive in a blue shade.</p>

<p>The previously seen <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/17/realme-gt-7t-spotted-on-geekbench-could-be-a-rebadged-neo-7-se/">Geekbench listing</a> of the device has revealed that it will feature the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-8400">Dimensity 8400</a> chip, 8GB of RAM, and Android 15. The TUV Rheinland certification of the device has revealed that it may ship with a 120W fast charger. These sightings suggest that the GT 7T could be a rebranded version of China’s Realme Neo 7 SE.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-neo-7-se/">Realme Neo 7 SE</a> is equipped with a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED 1.5K 120Hz screen, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel (main, OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual-camera setup. Under the hood, the GT 7T has up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, a 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging, and an IP68/69-rated body.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/realme/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Realme</a> has officially confirmed the global launch of its GT 7 series on May 27 at an event in Paris. The GT 7 Pro has already <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/26/realme-gt-7-pro-launched-in-india-pairs-the-brightest-display-on-a-phone-with-2024s-most-capable-chipset/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">launched</a> in India with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. The May 27 event will likely introduce the vanilla GT 7 and the GT 7T. As per teasers, the series will introduce an industry-first graphene IceSense cooling design. The company says the theme, <em>“Power that Never Stops,”</em> reflects its focus on sustained performance and battery life.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/GqaDyGeWgAAjuxz-1024x576.jpeg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-685636" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/GqaDyGeWgAAjuxz-1024x576.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/GqaDyGeWgAAjuxz-300x169.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/GqaDyGeWgAAjuxz-768x432.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/GqaDyGeWgAAjuxz-1536x864.jpeg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/GqaDyGeWgAAjuxz-2048x1152.jpeg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/GqaDyGeWgAAjuxz-696x392.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/GqaDyGeWgAAjuxz-1068x601.jpeg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/GqaDyGeWgAAjuxz-1920x1080.jpeg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/GqaDyGeWgAAjuxz-747x420.jpeg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The brand has also claimed that the GT 7 device will offer up to a 6-hour stable 120FPS gaming experience. For India, the GT 7 and GT 7T will launch soon via realme.com, Amazon.in, and offline retail partners.</p>

<p>In earlier reports, Realme had been teasing the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-gt-7-china/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">GT 7</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-gt-7t/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">GT 7T</a> across several markets. Both models were spotted on Geekbench—initially believed to be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/16/global-realme-gt-7-geekbench-listing/">Dimensity 9300 Plus</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/17/realme-gt-7t-spotted-on-geekbench-could-be-a-rebadged-neo-7-se/">Dimensity 8400 chipsets</a>, respectively. However, based on the latest internal testing leaks, the GT 7 is now expected to feature the newer <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-9400e" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dimensity 9400e</a>, which is said to offer the same CPU and GPU as the 9300+ but with improved thermal and power efficiency. The GT 7T is likely to retain the Dimensity 8400 chip.</p>

<p>There were earlier rumors suggesting these devices could be rebranded versions of the realme Neo 7 and Neo 7 SE from China. However, new official teasers showing the GT 7’s rear design and camera layout rule out any direct rebranding, confirming that the GT 7 is a new global-first product. The phone is expected to launch in at least blue and black color variants.</p>

<p>There is also speculation that the GT 7 with Dimensity 9400e may launch in China later as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/10/realme-neo-7-pro-dimenisty-9400e-may-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Neo 7 Pro</a>.</p>

<h3><strong>Realme GT 7 design teased</strong></h3>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">

<p>Recently, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-gt-7-china/">Realme GT 7</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-gt-7t">GT 7T</a> were spotted on Geekbench with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/16/global-realme-gt-7-geekbench-listing/">Dimensity 9300 Plus</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/17/realme-gt-7t-spotted-on-geekbench-could-be-a-rebadged-neo-7-se/">Dimensity 8400 chipsets</a>, respectively. These listings gave rise to rumours that the GT 7 and GT 7T will be rebranded versions of the Realme Neo 7 and Realme Neo 7 SE, which are already available in China.</p>

<p>However, in a recent video (shown above), the brand has teased the design of what seems to be the Realme GT 7. The camera module doesn’t match with the Neo 7, which suggests that the GT 7 will not be a rebranded version of the Neo 7. As far as shades are concerned, it will be available in at least blue and black options.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1615" height="966" data-id="685316" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-design-teased-.png?x44794" alt="Realme GT 7 design teased-" class="wp-image-685316" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-design-teased-.png 1615w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-design-teased--300x179.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-design-teased--1024x612.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-design-teased--768x459.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-design-teased--1536x919.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-design-teased--696x416.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-design-teased--1068x639.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-design-teased--702x420.png 702w" sizes="(max-width: 1615px) 100vw, 1615px" /></figure>
</figure>

<p>This indicates that the Realme GT 7 will be a completely new phone that hasn’t been launched in China before. Rethinking the GT 7’s Geekbench listing, it now seems equipped with the upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-9400e">Dimensity 9400e</a>, not the D9300+ as previously thought. Rumors surrounding the D9400e suggest that it will have the same CPU and GPU as the D9300+ but may offer refinements in other departments.</p>

<p>Rumours are rife that Realme is working on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/10/realme-neo-7-pro-dimenisty-9400e-may-launch/">Realme Neo 7 Pro (tentative name)</a>, featuring the Dimensity 9400e chip for the Chinese market. Likely, the Realme GT 7 with Dimensity 9400e, which is expected to debut soon globally, may be rebranded as the Neo 7 Pro in China.</p>

<p>As far as the Realme GT 7T is concerned, it could be a renamed version of the Dimensity 8400-powered Realme Neo 7 SE available in China.</p>

<p>The GT 7 is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset with 12GB of RAM and Android 15. As per a recent <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/17/realme-gt-7t-spotted-on-geekbench-could-be-a-rebadged-neo-7-se/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Geekbench listing</a>, the GT 7T will likely feature the Dimensity 8400 chip, 8GB of RAM, and run Android 15. Both phones are expected to support 120W fast charging, based on TUV certification. The brand claims that the Realme GT 7 will be able to play games like BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA for up to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/27/realme-gt-7-india-launch-teased/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">6 hours with a stable 120FPS</a>.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="Realme GT 7" class="wp-image-685034" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Realme-GT-7.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Details about the GT 7T remain unclear, but the GT 7 has already been <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/23/realme-gt-7-launch-dimensity-9400-7200mah-battery/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">launched in China</a>. If the specs carry over, it may feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 2800×1280 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness up to 6500 nits. The camera setup could include a 50MP Sony IMX896 main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP Sony IMX480 front camera. However, Realme often alters GT series devices for global markets, so the final specifications may differ. While Realme hasn’t announced the launch date, all signs point to a May debut.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/realme">Realme</a> unveiled the Realme Neo 7 equipped with the Dimensity 9300+ chip in China in December 2024. Later this month, the brand is expected to unveil the Neo 7 SE with the Dimensity 8400-Max chip onboard for the home market. New developments reveal that Realme is gearing up to announce new performance-driven phones for the Indian market. Apart from the Realme Neo 7, the country is also expected to receive the Realme GT 7T in the near future.</p>

<h3><strong>Realme GT 7T</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Realme-GT-6T-5G-1024x576.png?x44794" alt="Realme GT 6T alternatives" class="wp-image-643220" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Realme-GT-6T-5G-1024x576.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Realme-GT-6T-5G-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Realme-GT-6T-5G-768x432.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Realme-GT-6T-5G-696x392.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Realme-GT-6T-5G-1068x601.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Realme-GT-6T-5G-747x420.png 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/Realme-GT-6T-5G.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>According to <em>91mobiles</em>, the Realme GT 7T with model number RMX5085 is in the works for the Indian market. The report has revealed a few details about the phone, claiming that it will have an 8GB RAM variant, a blue colour option, NFC support, and Intercom-like capabilities that allow users to send and receive messages between HomePods, HomePod Mini, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and CarPlay.</p>

<p>There is no information about the specifications of the device. Last year, Realme released the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3-powered Realme GT Neo 6 SE and rebranded it as the Realme GT 6T in markets outside of China.</p>

<p>As mentioned above, Realme is expected to launch the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-neo-7-se">Realme Neo 7 SE</a> with the Dimensity 8400-Max chip later this month in China. It remains to be seen whether the GT 7T will be a rebranded version of the Neo 7 SE or if it will pack the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-7-plus-gen-4">upcoming Snapdragon 7+ Gen 4</a> chipset.</p>

<h3><strong>Realme Neo 7</strong></h3>

<p>It was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/01/06/realme-neo-7-may-launch-in-india-soon-alongside-new-audio-products/">reported last month</a> that India will soon receive the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-neo-7">Realme Neo 7</a> (model number: RMX5061) in variants, such as 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. It is expected to arrive in black and white shades and is expected to pack the same internals as its Chinese variant, which has the RMX5060 model number. The brand is also expected to launch the Realme Buds Air 7 alongside it.</p>
