Realme GT Neo3 goes on first sale in India – check price, offers & specs

Last week, Realme launched the GT Neo3 smartphone in India featuring the 150W SuperVOOC fast charging tech and the Dimensity 8100-Max chipset. Now, the device has been made available to purchase for the customers. So let’s take a look at its pricing, offers, and specifications.

Realme GT Neo3 Indian pricing & offers

The GT Neo3 has been launched in India in two different charging speed variants. First is the 80W fast charging variant that is priced at Rs 36,999 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration and the 12GB + 256GB which costs Rs 38,999.

The GT Neo3 with the 150W fast charging comes in 12GB + 256GB configuration and is priced at Rs 42,999.

The smartphone can be purchased from Flipkart & Realme Store with offers like flat Rs 7,000 discount via SBI and ICICI Cards.

Realme GT Neo3 specs & features

The smartphone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It has a 120Hz refresh rate, 1000Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit color, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. The screen has a centered punch-hole for the front camera and houses an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

Under the hood, the Realme GT Neo3 has the Dimensity 8100 chipset paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For cooling, it features a VC unit with a nine-layer heat dissipation structure. There are two battery variants of the device. The 5000mAh battery variant features 80W fast charging while the 4500mAh battery has 150W fast charging.

For optics, the GT Neo3 has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 119-degree FOV, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

Other features include Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 operating system, dual SIM slots, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-frequency GPS, NFC, an X-axis linear motor, a USB-C port, Dolby Atmos powered dual speakers, and Hi-Res Audio support.

While Realme has scheduled to launch the Realme GT2 Pro on April 7 in the Indian market, we may also see the Realme GT Neo3 in the country. The tipster Mukul Sharma(via Onsitego) has now revealed the launch timeline, colors, and configurations of the GT Neo3 for India.

According to the tipster, the Realme GT Neo3 will be launched in April in the Indian market. However, the exact launch date is still under wraps. The smartphone is tipped to come in multiple configurations such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.

The smartphone is said to come in three colors – Asphalt Black, Spring White, and Nitro Blue. The pricing of the phone is yet to be known.

Realme GT Neo3 Specifications

The Realme GT Neo3 was launched in China this month. The smartphone sports a 6.7-inch OLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. It has a 94.2% screen-to-body ratio and a maximum brightness of 1000 nits.

It is powered by the new 5nm MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It comes in two variants – a 4,500mAh battery + 150W UltraDart variant and a 5,000mAh + 80W UltraDart variant. The device has a triple camera system with 50MP IMX 766 main lens with OIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. Upfront, it has a 16MP selfie snapper.

The device has an in-display fingerprint scanner for security and boots on Android 12 OS based on Realme UI. It has VC liquid cooling under the roof and has GT Mode 3.0.

After several leaks, we finally got a release date for the upcoming Realme GT Neo3. The smartphone is set for a release on March 22 in China and we are expected to see the phone bring an array of improvements over the predecessor. Now, Realme has teased about another improvement in the phone, and that’s the fast charging technology. Additionally, the company also claims that the GT Neo3 has gone through different safety tests.

Realme has shared new teaser posters of the GT Neo3. We learn that the smartphone has a dual-cell battery. The company reveals that the phone packs a 4,500mAh cell and it can be charged quickly with the help of the new 150W charging solution. As per Realme, the device goes from 0% to 50% in just 5 minutes. That being said, the phone won’t take more than 15 – 20 minutes to get fully juiced up.

Furthermore, Realme has confirmed that the GT Neo3 has gone through 41 TUV Rheinland tests ensuring that that super-fast 150W fast charging solution is safe for users. Realme reveals that the phone also houses a cooling system inside that helps in dissipating heat, in case there’s unusual heating.

That’s pretty much what we get to see in the new teasers. Since the launch is scheduled for next week, we expect to see more such teasers revealing the phone’s specs. Speaking of specs, the phone’s details have been given out by the past leaks.

Alleged Realme GT Neo3 image reveals a slightly tweaked camera module

Realme GT Neo2 was launched last year with Snapdragon 870 chipset and triple rear cameras. Now, it seems that the company is planning to release its successor, the Realme GT Neo3 soon. A tipster on Weibo has shared an image of a Realme device, which he claims to be of the upcoming GT Neo3.

As per the image, the device has a different design and sports a slightly tweaked camera module. Apparently, it has a triple camera system but has the third lens is positioned at the bottom. This is unlike the existing Neo2’s camera placement.

Unfortunately, the camera details aren’t revealed. But since it will be a successor to the Neo2, we can expect a new primary lens on the phone. That being said, it might have a newer 64MP sensor or a 50MP lens.

The back has a tri-color design with a mix of Silver, Black, and Orange. It also has the Realme branding at the bottom.

Other than the design, the tipster reveals that the Realme GT Neo3 will come powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery and support a 100W fast charging technology.

In related news, the company recently launched the Realme GT Neo2 in Dragon Ball Z Limited Edition in China. Later, the company confirmed that the limited edition model will also reach the Indian and European markets soon.
