<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Chinese smartphone maker realme has been running the Android 11 (realme UI 2.0) beta program for the eligible devices since September 2020. However, only two phones, namely </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/04/realme-x50-pro-realme-ui-2-0-android-11-stable-update/"><span style="font-weight: 400">realme X50 Pro</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/06/realme-narzo-20-realme-ui-2-0-android-11-stable-update-india/"><span style="font-weight: 400">realme narzo 20</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> have received the Android 11 stable update in India.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">What’s worse is that the company has released its newer mid-range 5G smartphones with outdated realme UI (Android 10) out of the box in India. Last week, the brand revealed that the </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-x7-india/"><span style="font-weight: 400">realme X7</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-x7-pro/"><span style="font-weight: 400">realme X7 Pro</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> will be getting the Android 11 beta update </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/06/realme-x7-pro-realme-ui-2-0-android-11-beta-q2-2021-india/"><span style="font-weight: 400">in Q2 2021</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Now, this week, the company </span><a href="https://c.realme.com/in/post-details/1308979795278692352"><span style="font-weight: 400">confirms</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> that India’s most-affordable 5G smartphone (</span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-narzo-30-pro-5g/"><span style="font-weight: 400">realme narzo 30 Pro</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">) will be receiving the Android 11 beta update only in Q3 2021. The even cheaper 4G-only </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-narzo-30a/"><span style="font-weight: 400">realme narzo 30A</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> will be also getting this update at the same time.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Since this schedule is only meant for the beta, which realme calls ‘Early Access’, the open (public) beta release and final stable release may take even more time. In other words, the new narzo handsets will be probably getting </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Android-11/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Android 11</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> stable when Google would have already released </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Android-12/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Android 12.</span></a></p>
<figure id="attachment_372966" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-372966" style="width: 4000px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-372966" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/realme-narzo-30A-Laser-Blue-Laser-Black-Featured.jpg?x10805" alt="realme narzo 30A Laser Blue Laser Black Featured" width="4000" height="2250" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/realme-narzo-30A-Laser-Blue-Laser-Black-Featured.jpg 4000w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/realme-narzo-30A-Laser-Blue-Laser-Black-Featured-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/realme-narzo-30A-Laser-Blue-Laser-Black-Featured-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/realme-narzo-30A-Laser-Blue-Laser-Black-Featured-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/realme-narzo-30A-Laser-Blue-Laser-Black-Featured-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/realme-narzo-30A-Laser-Blue-Laser-Black-Featured-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/realme-narzo-30A-Laser-Blue-Laser-Black-Featured-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/realme-narzo-30A-Laser-Blue-Laser-Black-Featured-1920x1080.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 4000px) 100vw, 4000px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-372966" class="wp-caption-text">realme narzo 30A</figcaption></figure>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The brand quietly updated its ‘realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 Schedule’ post on realme Community to include these two devices. The changes were first spotted by </span><a href="https://piunikaweb.com/2021/03/14/realme-ui-2-0-android-11-roadmap-updated-narzo-30-pro-narzo-30a-schedule-revealed/"><i><span style="font-weight: 400">PiunikaWeb</span></i></a><span style="font-weight: 400">.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Interestingly, the brand has removed realme 7i from the timeline. For those unaware, this handset had </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/17/realme-7i-android-11-realme-ui-2-0-early-access/"><span style="font-weight: 400">already started receiving beta builds</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">. Perhaps, it was a mistake, and therefore, the phone may get listed again.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">That said, what are your thoughts on realme’s software support? Do let us know in the comment section below.</span></p>

<h3>Design</h3>
<p>The Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G is slightly more stylish when it comes to design, but it is just my opinion. First of all, it is more compact. Further, the color variants are more attractive. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro is thinner and lighter, but the bigger dimensions make the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G more comfortable to keep in a pocket and for one-handed usage. Both the phones are built with cheap materials and they come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for authentication. Note that Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro features stereo speakers and an IR blaster to control the TV, while Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G does not.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Display</h3>
<p>The best display belongs to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro for a simple and single reason: it is an AMOLED panel. That is the reason why it is able to show more brilliant colors and deeper blacks. It even comes with the HDR10 certification providing a higher image quality on streaming platforms. The Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G has a 120 Hz refresh rate just like the Redmi Note 10 Pro, but unfortunately, its display is IPS and it does not feature the HDR10 certification. Last but not least, Redmi Note 10 Pro has a wider panel.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Specs &amp; Software</h3>
<p>While the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro has a superior display, the Realme Narzo 10 Pro 5G is actually superior in terms of hardware. First of all, it has a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. While Redmi Note 10 Pro has faster UFS 2.2 storage the Snapdragon 732G is actually inferior to the Dimensity 800U. Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G supports 5G connectivity, while Redmi Note 10 Pro does not. Both the phones are based on Android 10 with a highly-customized user interface, and they will get updated to Android 11 soon.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Camera</h3>
<p>The best rear camera department belongs to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro: it has a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, a 5 MP macro sensor, and a 2 MP depth sensor. With the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G, you get an inferior 48 MP main camera and, unfortunately, no macro camera. But it actually comes with a better 16 MP selfie camera. None of these devices is a high-end camera phone, but in a lot of scenarios, you can get a slightly better result with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro.</p>

</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Battery</h3>
<p>The Xiaomi Redmi Note Pro and the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G offer more or less the same battery capacity: the former has 5020 mAh, while the latter has a 5000 mAh battery. Even fast charging technologies have similar powers: 33W and 30W, respectively. But similar battery capacities do not mean the same battery life. The AMOLED display of the Note 10 Pro has a lower energy consumption, as well as the chipset of the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G. It will be a tough fight, but the differences should be just marginal.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Price</h3>
<p>The prices of the base variants of the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G range between €180/$215 and €210/$250 in the Indian market. If 5G is important for you because you want to keep your new phone for years, then you should go for the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G. Otherwise, Note 10 Pro is superior on the paper.</p>

It belongs to the midrange segment and offers a very high value for money, but is it actually the highest? In order to understand this, we decided to compare it to two other amazing mid-rangers, one of which is equipped with 5G connectivity: the POCO X3 by Xiaomi and the Realme X7, both available in the Indian market.</p>

<h3>Design</h3>
<p>If you mind having a beautiful phone with an attractive design, go for the Realme X7. You should go for it because it is actually thinner, lighter, and more compact than Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G and POCO X3. The aesthetics are very similar to the Realme Narzo 30 Pro but given that the Narzo is thicker and bigger, it is also less attractive. The POCO X3 does not come with an amazing design, but it offers a great build quality. Its frame is made of aluminum and the phone has the IP53 certification which makes it dust resistant and splash resistant. Further, its front glass is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Display</h3>
<p>Despite it comes with a standard refresh rate, the best display belongs to the Realme X7 for a simple reason: it has an AMOLED panel. AMOLED displays are able to show more brilliant colors and deeper blacks. The phone is also equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader allowing for a more comfortable unlock. The Realme Narzo 30 Pro has a 120 Hz display just like the POCO X3, but a higher refresh rate does not stand for better image quality. You can get a smoother viewing experience, but the quality of these IPS displays is actually lower if you compare them to the Realme X7.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Specs &amp; Software</h3>
<p>The POCO X3 NFC is inferior when it comes to the hardware department because its chipset, the Snapdragon 732G, is actually less powerful than the Mediatek Dimensity 800U found on the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G and the Realme X7. But the most important difference between the two chipsets is 5G: with the Snapdragon 732G, you do not get 5G connectivity, while you do with the Dimensity 800U. All the phones are based on Android 10 and run a highly-customized user interface. Further, they all pack up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Camera</h3>
<p>On the paper, the Realme X7 looks like the device with the best camera setup. On the rear side, it has a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor, and a pair of 2 MP sensors for macros and depth. Last but not least, a great 32 MP selfie snapper.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Battery</h3>
<p>The POCO X3 has the biggest battery and, given that the components are similar to the Realme Narzo 30 Pro in terms of energy consumption, it should provide a longer battery life. The Realme X7 has a smaller 4300 mAh battery, but it charges faster with its 65W fast charging technology.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Price</h3>
<p>Realme Narzo 30 Pro is priced Rs. 18,799 / $257, POCO X3 costs Rs. 16,999 / $232, and Realme X7 starts from Rs. 19,999 / $273. Given that it does not support 5G, the POCO X3 is not the smartest choice for everyone. The Realme X7 is for those who love the camera and display quality, while Realme Narzo 30 Pro provides a longer battery life. Overall, the Realme X7 is more interesting (but also costlier) and it wins the comparison.</p>

The company has already confirmed its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/16/realme-narzo-30-pro-5g-likely-teased-in-flipkart-landing-page/">availability on Flipkart</a>. Now, in an Interview with XDADevelopers, Madhav Sheth <a href="https://www.xda-developers.com/exclusive-realme-narzo-30a-30-pro-specs-5g-vp-madhav-sheth/">confirms</a> the specs of one of the devices. And it could be the Narzo 30 Pro 5G.</p>
<figure id="attachment_371678" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-371678" style="width: 1200px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-371678 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Realme-Narzo-30-Pro-5G-rear-view.jpg?x10805" alt="Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G rear view" width="1200" height="800" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Realme-Narzo-30-Pro-5G-rear-view.jpg 1200w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Realme-Narzo-30-Pro-5G-rear-view-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Realme-Narzo-30-Pro-5G-rear-view-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Realme-Narzo-30-Pro-5G-rear-view-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Realme-Narzo-30-Pro-5G-rear-view-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Realme-Narzo-30-Pro-5G-rear-view-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Realme-Narzo-30-Pro-5G-rear-view-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-371678" class="wp-caption-text">Credit: Madhav Sheth, Twitter: @MadhavSheth1</figcaption></figure>
<p>Madhav Sheth, VP, Realme, and CEO, Realme India and Europe, has confirmed that one of the Narzo 30 series devices will feature <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-800u">MediaTek Dimensity 800U</a> 5G chipset(mostly <strong>Narzo 30 Pro 5G</strong>). If you recall, Madhav Sheth had <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/13/realme-narzo-30-series-phone-may-debut-as-the-cheapest-5g-smartphone-in-india/">already teased</a> about launching a cheaper 5G device a while ago. Ascertaining that, he says that the company aims to <strong>democratize 5G</strong> even more in India.</p>
<p>Last month, realme <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/04/realme-x7-pro-india-launch-price-specs-features/">brought</a> the realme X7 series, and with it came the Dimensity series of chipsets. Following this, the company had said that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/08/every-realme-phone-launching-above-%e2%82%b920000275-will-support-5g-in-india-in-2021/">half of the devices</a> launching in India this year would have 5G support. If we connect the dots, the &#8220;<strong>Never-before-Seen price</strong>&#8221; works out well.</p>
<p>Speaking of which, Madhav hasn&#8217;t explicitly revealed the pricing but we can guess that it would definitely be below the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-x7-india/">realme X7</a> that launched at ₹19,999($275). Also, regarding the rumors of Narzo spinning-off into a separate brand, Madhav says that it is not a sub-brand and will continue to be a part of realme as before.</p>
<h4><strong>realme Narzo 30 Series Specs(Expected)</strong></h4>
<p>Leaked posters have <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/15/leaked-poster-reveals-only-realme-narzo-30-pro-and-narzo-30a-are-coming/">revealed</a> that realme plans to release only the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/narzo-30a">Narzo 30A</a> and <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/narzo-30-pro-5g">Narzo 30 Pro 5G</a> this time in India. The Narzo 30 Pro 5G as the name suggests will be a 5G-ready device. As the rumors say, a rear image that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/17/realme-narzo-30-pro-5g-officially-revealed-by-realme-india-ceo/">Madhav recently revealed</a> suggests that the Narzo 30 Pro could be a rebadged <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-q2">realme Q2</a> from China.</p>
<p>If this is indeed true, the device will sport a 6.5-inch IPS LCD top-left punch-hole FHD+ display, 4 GB / 6 GB of LPPDR4x RAM, and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage with microSD card support, rounded-rectangle Triple-camera layout with 48MP+8MP+2MP sensors,  4,880mAh battery side-mounted fingerprint sensor.</p>
<p>The watered-down sibling, Narzo 30A moniker so far appeared on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/27/realme-narzo-30a-bags-nbtc-certification-launching-in-february/">certifications like NBTC</a>, SIRIM but nothing much is known about it. Leaked posters reveal that it will have a square-shaped module with Three cameras and an LED flash. Let&#8217;s wait for more details as we close in on the reported <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/15/realme-narzo-30-series-india-launch-feb-24-report/">February 24 launch</a>.</p>

<p>According to the user, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme-narzo-30/">realme Narzo 30</a> series will <a href="https://twitter.com/Gadgetsdata/status/1361258951749160960">launch</a> on February 24 in India. Earlier today, Madhav Sheth, CEO, realme India &amp; Europe, <a href="https://twitter.com/MadhavSheth1/status/1361177240344489988?s=20">tweeted</a> the poll results of the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/08/realme-narzo-30-retail-box-teaser/"> realme Narzo 30 series box</a>. However, himself or the company hasn&#8217;t explicitly confirmed a date yet.</p>
<p>Speaking of which, the series is expected to house three devices- Narzo 30, Narzo 30A, and Narzo 30 Pro. Out of this, the Narzo 30 Pro could be the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/13/realme-narzo-30-series-phone-may-debut-as-the-cheapest-5g-smartphone-in-india/">Cheapest 5G smartphone</a> in India.</p>
<p>The device, whose renders and specs <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/10/realme-rmx3161-spotted-on-tenaa-key-specs-and-images-revealed/">appeared on TENAA</a> reportedly with model number RMX3161, features a 6.5-inch punch-hole display, SA/NSA 5G support, quad-camera setup, 4,880mAh battery, and run Android 11.</p>
<p>realme hasn&#8217;t brought the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android-11">Android 11</a> to its devices out of the box yet. If you recall, even the recently <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/04/realme-x7-pro-india-launch-price-specs-features/">launched realme X7 series</a> come with Android 10 and realme UI on top. So let&#8217;s wait and see if the company brings the latest OS to the devices at launch.</p>
<p>Either way, the Narzo 30 Pro, if launched as teased by Madhav Sheth, should cost less than the realme X7(₹19,999) in the country. The info regarding the other two devices is a bit bleak at the moment. The Narzo 30 could <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/06/mysterious-realme-rmx3085-with-helio-g95-appears-on-geekbench/">feature</a> a Helio G95 chipset up from the Helio G85 on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/21/realme-narzo-20-20a-20-pro-launched-in-india-specifications-features-price/">predecessor</a>.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme-narzo-30A/">Narzo 30A</a> moniker has been spotted on India&#8217;s BIS, Thailand&#8217;s NTBC certifications and it looks like both the 30 and 30A are likely a 4G budget offerings contradictory to the Narzo 30 Pro. Let&#8217;s wait for more leaks in the run-up to the launch.</p>

This move was necessary as the price of the brand’s number series climbed up the ladder. That said, the company been teasing the next-gen devices in the series called narzo 30 for the past few days. These handsets have been now tipped to launch in India in the last week of February with 5G connectivity on one of them.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Although the </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme-narzo-30/"><span style="font-weight: 400">realme narzo 30</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> series in the news, there’s not much information available about these smartphones. Exactly a week earlier, the brand asked the public to </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/08/realme-narzo-30-retail-box-teaser/"><span style="font-weight: 400">select the box design</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> for the vanilla realme narzo 30. Today, the company has even </span><a href="https://twitter.com/MadhavSheth1/status/1361177240344489988"><span style="font-weight: 400">revealed</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> the most voted design.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">However, nothing is known about the standard narzo 30 so far. We believe it could be the RMX3085, which was recently </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/06/mysterious-realme-rmx3085-with-helio-g95-appears-on-geekbench/"><span style="font-weight: 400">spotted on Geekbench</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> with MediaTek Helio G95. So this makes it a 4G handset.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Similarly, there’s another 4G device called </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme-narzo-30A/"><span style="font-weight: 400">narzo 30A</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, which has been </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/27/realme-narzo-30a-bags-nbtc-certification-launching-in-february/"><span style="font-weight: 400">certified by BIS and NBTC</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">. Going by its name, we can expect it to be the cheapest model in the series just like its predecessor narzo 20A.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">That leaves us with the </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme-narzo-30-Pro/"><span style="font-weight: 400">narzo 30 Pro</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">. This could be the 5G model that </span><a href="https://www.mysmartprice.com/gear/narzo-30-series-india-launch-last-week-feb-narzo-30-pro-5g-support/"><i><span style="font-weight: 400">MySmartPrice</span></i></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> reports exclusively to launch by the end of February. <p><span style="font-weight: 400">Last but not least, since the company’s CEO has </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/13/realme-narzo-30-series-phone-may-debut-as-the-cheapest-5g-smartphone-in-india/"><span style="font-weight: 400">already teased</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> to launch a 5G phone cheaper than the realme X7, the upcoming realme narzo 30 Pro may cost lesser than ₹19,999.</span></p>
