This includes the new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-8-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Realme 8 5G</a> and the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-narzo-30-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Narzo 30 5G</a>. So here&#8217;s all the details.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-457378 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Screenshot-2022-04-28-133031.png?x44794" alt="Realme" width="536" height="296" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Screenshot-2022-04-28-133031.png 536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Screenshot-2022-04-28-133031-300x166.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Screenshot-2022-04-28-133031-534x296.png 534w" sizes="(max-width: 536px) 100vw, 536px" /></p>
<p>The Chinese smartphone maker has just began rolling out the RMX3242_11.A.16 build version for both the Narzo and Realme 8 model. The brand is rolling out the update in a staggered manner. In other words, the update will first be received by a limited number of users right now, with a broader release beginning a few days later to make sure that there are no major issues or bugs in the major software update.</p>
<p>With the new upgrade, the two smartphones will receive the Android 12 OS version. Apart from this, there are also changes in new design and some visual overhauls to offer a better interactive experience. There have also been a couple of optimizations to some of its systems like the Quantum Animation Engine and even brings in the Smart Assistant widgets that displays key information of apps and provides instant access to certain functions as well.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-389262 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/realme-8-5g.png?x44794" alt="Realme" width="695" height="446" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/realme-8-5g.png 695w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/realme-8-5g-300x193.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/realme-8-5g-654x420.png 654w" sizes="(max-width: 695px) 100vw, 695px" /></p>
<p>So for the owners of the Realme 8 and Narzo 30, you can manually check if you&#8217;ve received the update within the settings. But if you&#8217;ve yet to receive the update, the complete roll out should follow soon after in a couple of days.</p>

<p>According to the user, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme-narzo-30/">realme Narzo 30</a> series will <a href="https://twitter.com/Gadgetsdata/status/1361258951749160960">launch</a> on February 24 in India. Earlier today, Madhav Sheth, CEO, realme India &amp; Europe, <a href="https://twitter.com/MadhavSheth1/status/1361177240344489988?s=20">tweeted</a> the poll results of the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/08/realme-narzo-30-retail-box-teaser/"> realme Narzo 30 series box</a>. However, himself or the company hasn&#8217;t explicitly confirmed a date yet.</p>
<p>Speaking of which, the series is expected to house three devices- Narzo 30, Narzo 30A, and Narzo 30 Pro. Out of this, the Narzo 30 Pro could be the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/13/realme-narzo-30-series-phone-may-debut-as-the-cheapest-5g-smartphone-in-india/">Cheapest 5G smartphone</a> in India.</p>
<p>The device, whose renders and specs <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/10/realme-rmx3161-spotted-on-tenaa-key-specs-and-images-revealed/">appeared on TENAA</a> reportedly with model number RMX3161, features a 6.5-inch punch-hole display, SA/NSA 5G support, quad-camera setup, 4,880mAh battery, and run Android 11.</p>
<p>realme hasn&#8217;t brought the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android-11">Android 11</a> to its devices out of the box yet. If you recall, even the recently <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/04/realme-x7-pro-india-launch-price-specs-features/">launched realme X7 series</a> come with Android 10 and realme UI on top. So let&#8217;s wait and see if the company brings the latest OS to the devices at launch.</p>
<p>Either way, the Narzo 30 Pro, if launched as teased by Madhav Sheth, should cost less than the realme X7(₹19,999) in the country. The info regarding the other two devices is a bit bleak at the moment. The Narzo 30 could <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/06/mysterious-realme-rmx3085-with-helio-g95-appears-on-geekbench/">feature</a> a Helio G95 chipset up from the Helio G85 on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/21/realme-narzo-20-20a-20-pro-launched-in-india-specifications-features-price/">predecessor</a>.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme-narzo-30A/">Narzo 30A</a> moniker has been spotted on India&#8217;s BIS, Thailand&#8217;s NTBC certifications and it looks like both the 30 and 30A are likely a 4G budget offerings contradictory to the Narzo 30 Pro. Let&#8217;s wait for more leaks in the run-up to the launch.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">However, nothing is known about the standard narzo 30 so far. Now, the same device has been spotted on China&#8217;s TENAA along with key specs and images.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-370545" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/RMX3161-TENAA.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="3264" height="1942" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/RMX3161-TENAA.jpg 3264w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/RMX3161-TENAA-300x178.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/RMX3161-TENAA-768x457.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/RMX3161-TENAA-1024x609.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/RMX3161-TENAA-696x414.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/RMX3161-TENAA-1068x635.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/RMX3161-TENAA-706x420.jpg 706w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/RMX3161-TENAA-1920x1142.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 3264px) 100vw, 3264px" /></p>
<p>Courtesy of Abhishek Yadav, a realme device with model number RMX3161 <a href="https://twitter.com/yabhishekhd/status/1359439624427376644">appears</a> on the TENAA <a href="https://jwxkwap.miit.gov.cn/functionParametersOfMobilePhone?licenseNo=00-D545-218115">database</a>. The listing shows that the device supports up to 5G connectivity with NR SA/NSA network support. Further, a few specs and images of the device have also been listed.</p>
<p>Before we jump into specs, if we recall, a realme smartphone with model number RMX3171 recently appeared on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/27/realme-narzo-30a-bags-nbtc-certification-launching-in-february/">Thailand&#8217;s NBTC</a> and Malaysia&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/09/realme-buds-q2-buds-air-2-c21-narzo-30a-sirim-certifications/">SIRIM certifications</a>. Out of this, the NBTC revealed that the device will be called <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/narzo-30a">Narzo 30A</a>.</p>
<p>However, we aren&#8217;t sure if the RMX3161 belongs to the Narzo 30 series as there isn&#8217;t concrete info just yet. Coming back, this device will have a 6.5-inch display as per the listing which could be an LCD/AMOLED panel. Further, the device will measure 162.5&#215;74.8&#215;8.8mm.</p>
<p>Other specs listed are a 4,880mAh battery and Android 11 OS. Talking about the images, the listing shows a device with Black Color. We have a power button with an embedded fingerprint on the right, Volume buttons to the left. It also seems to have a single top-left punch-hole on the display.</p>

<p>On the back, we can see a rounded-rectangle camera layout having four cutouts and an LED flash. However, we are able to spot only three camera sensors as the fourth one isn&#8217;t clearly visible. The rear panel also has DARE TO LEAP slogan and realme branding.</p>
<p>Considering the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/08/every-realme-phone-launching-above-%e2%82%b920000275-will-support-5g-in-india-in-2021/">brand has specified</a> that phones above 20,000 will have 5G support it&#8217;s a bit of a stretch to expect the latest connectivity on Narzo series which is mostly sold in the budget segment. Speaking of which, Narzo 30 series is expected to launch soon in India. In fact, the company has already <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/08/realme-narzo-30-retail-box-teaser/">started teasing</a> it on its community.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">On its official forum, the realme community, the Chinese smartphone maker has </span><a href="https://c.realme.com/in/post-details/1358649299713519616"><span style="font-weight: 400">shared</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> a post with a picture showcasing six different possible retail boxes of realme narzo 30. The brand has also provided a Google Form link to let people vote for their favorite.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">This is not the first time realme is revealing the retail box of its yet to release phone. Earlier last month, the brand</span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/21/realme-x7-x7-pro-retail-box-designs-teased-charger-confirmed/"><span style="font-weight: 400"> did something similar</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> for the </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/04/realme-x7-pro-india-launch-price-specs-features/"><span style="font-weight: 400">realme X7 series</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">. However, the company did not run a poll because the launch was only a few days away.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">But this time around, the situation is different as the company is asking the public to vote. If this polling is legit and not some random survey for marketing purposes, the realme narzo 30 may go official only in March at the earliest.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Anyway, nothing is known about this handset as of now. But it is certain that there will be at least three devices in the series, namely narzo 30, narzo 30 Pro, and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/27/realme-narzo-30a-bags-nbtc-certification-launching-in-february/"><span style="font-weight: 400">narzo 30A</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">.</span></p>
